It's worth a visit than a submarine and aircraft museum,you will get more knowledge about history,submarines,and our navy, airforce , entry ticket is 10 rupees ,inside we can't take photos,it deserves more visitors
I liked the museum very much..there a lot of stuff that was kept for display...
Entry Ticket is 10rs and it's a total worth....the garden area is also good...and nice place for few clicks...

Pieces of wrecked Gazi are apple to the eye.. The Marine is just an unexplored field by a common civilians..So it's an opportunity to see all Marine Marvel's
Located near RK beach, this place generally is included in ‘places to visit in Vizag’ list. There is no dedicated parking space, need to find a roadside parking. Entry ticket is 10 rs for adults and 05 rs for children. The museum has got two parts - a naval maritime museum and another museum is Visakhapatnam district museum. Photography is prohibited, so couldn’t capture the display which is inside the museums. The maritime museum is worth visit where you’ll be able to go through rich naval history of Visakhapatnam as well as interesting details of Indian Naval fleet and exhibits, photographs depicting Naval warfare. The other part of the museum is disappointing. Although the three storied museum dedicates itself to bring out rich cultural heritage of Andhra Pradesh and Telengana, but it is poorly maintained. Lack of guide and improper display of artefacts also fail to generate curiosity amongst visitors. Personally felt that the staffs are pretty less aware of the the exhibits and their historical value. Overall verdict- good for only one time visit if you get some extra time in Vizag itinerary.
It is a real submarine that served over 30years in the sea for our Nation and now it has been put for exhibit for civilians. Once you enter inside you will understand how difficult it is for a normal person to survive inside. Hats off to the Navy officers who work to keep us safe.

This is an aircraft museum. Many engine parts and accessories are kept inside.
Ever imagined what inside of submarine is like then At 40 rupees you can visit an actual submarine at RK beach. Felt claustrophobic once inside for few minutes then felt respect for all those sailors around the world who spent months in these submarines. Place you should never miss when you are in vizag
Beautiful! It's really worth a look. It truly lets one understand how our Sailors spent their days in these minuscule spaces to protect us from our adversaries.
The other is the Sea Harrier Museum which again allows one to see the famous Sea Harrier, Vertical Take Off / Landing Aircraft at close quarters.
It's definitely a must visit place if one is in Vishakapatnam.

The perfect experience I gathered at only Rs 50. A submarine which I saw mostly in movies, I touched and lived with it. People said that it was used during the Pak- India 1971 war and it made us proud by kicking out Pak in a sea fight. One should visit and feel the same joys which are available till today. Kudos to the government who made it available for the general people and Thanks a lot.
It's good place to visit. It's so interesting to see how beautiful the inside is. The fact it you might feel is too clumsy or cramped but in reality it is way more cramped. There has been few things removed in order for civilians to walk and see the submarine. It is a real submarine that served over 30years in the sea for our Nation and now it has been put for exhibit for civilians. Too much crowded place. Need to find parking place. Also be ready for long queue. It's takes 2 min to cover the interior of submarines. Can visit this with kids.
I loved this place. So rich. You can spend at least half a day looking at the antiques. I can tell you,it's the best place and a must visit in Vizag. The place outside is also interesting,not only inside the museum.
Very good place and neatly maintained, Must visit place you will be mind blown by sheer internal and external structure of real submarine. You can explore RK beach as well. Visiting evening is best time for photos and Photography. But do mind that its heavily crowded
Earlier I wrote review on this. It's worth visiting this place especially with kids. Opposite to submarine there is war plane. You can take tickets for both the places at submarine ticket counter. Kids will enjoy a lot.

Nice place to know about the History of Visakhapatnam. In this place you can visit the archeological monuments also. Mostly Visakha museum about the Naval Base, wars, ships and wars against other countries especially with Pakistan we can observe there how many times that India won against Pakistan in wars. Children can learn more about the History. The other building which is about archeological monuments where we can see the Kings, Swords, Old Coins and Notes also.
Excellent museum. Those who like aircraft, this is great experience. Experiencing a 2nd world war aircraft is itself a great deal. Here the working principle of many items are clearly mentioned. Inside the aircraft is air conditioned. There is fun for everyone if you like aircraft or not.
One of te best place to go and visit when in vishakapatnam ,Here you will get to see the actual aircraft and its interior ,you will be amazed tk see , how our worriers won and which aircraft they used .
It was a different experience to go there .The place was very clean and posh surrounded by garder .The entry is chargeable (70rs) per adult and it was worth going .

Entry fee is 70 for adults which is too high this must be less then 50. The best part of this museum is you can go inside an aircraft and see the inside view of it. Different parts of aircraft are parents on display. It'll take 20-30 minutes to visit this place. It is just opposite of submarine museum. Good experience and nice place to visit in Vizag. They also provide audio device to the visitors for the description of different parts of museum.

An awesome place for kids to see the inside of a fighter jet alive. It is well planned and most of the details are in place for kids to see and learn. Even elders can understand and appreciate the hardships of Airforce staff. Very nice place with all required amenities. Schools from surrounding villages can bring their students for a good learning session. It also has couple of simulators to have the first hand feel of driving or riding the jet all by yourself. Give it a try, of course you have to pay for the simulator. But it’s worth.
Very informative. It gives whole information of Indian air force with all internal details ofTU 142 aircraft. It also has VR aircraft room and eagle room for kids. Just opposite to submarine karsura museum.
