Fun little museum full of Virginia beer history, who knew there was so much. Super friendly and informative bartender. Fun if you are a beer fan and it's free.

What a great local find. We stumbled in on our tour of small towns of Virginia. Hugs and friends immediately. The business model is the best. First time I toured a museum with a beer!

Great beer, nice atmosphere and helpful bar tender.

I stayed an extra night in front Royal and it has been well worth the wait. This is just a great little town and it has what is almost a beer district right here on Chester St. with several breweries or beer outlets from which to choose. The Virginia beer museum really caught my attention and the young lady getting ready to open for business was so inviting so cordial so knowledgeable and so much fun I just couldn’t resist. I’ll post a picture of their array of beers but the one that really got my attention was George Washington’s original brew which I have to say has an air of colonial nostalgia and history about it. I’m gonna tour the inside rooms again and take a few more pictures but for anyone visiting front Royal Virginia this is must say frontage property.

My biggest issue was the fact that when I was planning the mirror Maze at home, my information said it was free. It was NOT free!
I thought that $7 was a bit pricey as well. It was fun for our 3 year old grandson, but also went fast. 10-15 minutes tops.
It was cool though.

This little free museum provides some overview of the history of beer in the United States and in Virginia. See Washington’s beer recipe and his standing order that beer should be part of the soldier’s daily ration. See information on jefferson and his use of beer while writing parts of the Constitution. The museum also has a tasting room where you can try different types of beer. You can purchase your beer here and just hang out in this incredibly relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend!

We had a great time playing in the maze! Hide and seek and just finding our way around. So fun! If you go, don’t rush! Stay in as long as you like and have a good time!

As one enters the Mirror Maze, they are immediately immersed in a kaleidoscope of mirrors. The intricate maze of reflective surfaces creates an illusion of infinite space, making it a visually captivating experience. The interplay of light and reflections adds an element of mystery and excitement, as visitors navigate through the labyrinthine pathways.

My kids and I are not from the area we came to visit the museum. It said it was open on the website we got there and everything was closed.

Only took me one minute to finish the maze, it is not worth going to, and a waste of time. If you want to go to a good maze, i suggest you go tho the garden maze which is 30 minutes away

We visited here for the Burns Supper and we had a wonderful time! The customer service was wonderful and the atmosphere was welcoming. The walls have history on them and its fire pit out back was proven to be great for singing! Thanks yall!

Overall, this was a fun experience. Do not expect a 30 or 60-minute adventure. This is a small mirror maze that takes less than 15 minutes. It is great for interesting photo ops. It is next door to Skyline Caverns, so adding this as part of the fun is worth the few extra $'s.

This is located across the lot from the entrance of Skyline Caverns. Caverns charging $28 for cave tour. Caves are interesting but you seen one, you've basically seen 'em all. $28 is too steep, IMHO.
But a hidden gem is the mirror room. $7 admission (get ticket at cave lobby). This is a fun little attraction, similar to the mirror rooms at the beach. Worth $7. There is a hidden dinosaur egg....can you find it?

This guy! A lawyer who owns it found a way to open a beer only place by opening a museum l. Awesome beer. He has a receipt for from President George days. Awesome.

My favorite thing to do is beating my husband in these mazes. We do it so often we bring our own gloves!! Check their policies but last time we went you bought one ticket and could do it as many times as you'd like.

Took my students on a brief field trip to this museum and we all enjoyed it. Lots of local Civil War history with an abundance of artifacts on display like old uniforms, war torn flags, and lots of rifles! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The museum is all on one level and they have a small gift shop with books, flags, stickers, etc. Photography is not allowed in the museum itself. Free, on-street parking available and the museum is in close proximity to several other interesting destinations like the Warren Heritage Society and the Virginia Beer Museum.

The gentleman that works here is very knowledgeable and helpful. I told him about my ancestors being mosbys rangers and he got his personal book and showed me my ancestors names. He made a copy for me to take home. What a nice guy and this place has amazing books relics even Belle Boyd's dress! I encourage everyone to go especially if u are a Stonewall Jackson, Mosby, and Lee fan. Sorry I didnt catch this gentleman's name. Great time!

A very unique and special experience while in Front Royal. The Beer Museum not only offers s big variety of crest brews from all over the state of VA, but it also showcases the beverages' history from prohibition to it's legalization and popularity. They don't serve food but you can order delivery from a few local places or even bring your own from the many restaurants just steps away on the Main St. Outdoor area often also features local music.

Fascinating pieces of our nation's history, old uniforms, maps, books, etc on display of the Confederate States Army, also a great selection of gifts and books for sale. Highly recommended!

This place is great!!!
We really enjoyed checking out all of the CS displays. The staff was absolutely terrific too, very knowledgeable and friendly.
We will defiantly bring the family back here next time we go to Front Royal.

We were passing this area and didn't have enough time to explore the cave. So we decided to try this maze. We were 9 of us, two adults and 7 kids. It took us literally 2 minutes to finish the maze. Way too short. If it was a dollar or two, I think it would be ok, but I don't think it's worth $6.

An excellent historical Center for learning, from an entire overview of the Civil War, to the personal images, words and effects of those who served. Many from the Front Royal area itself. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff who made my visit even better.

This place is cool, they have a lot of authentic items and a knowledgeable staff. The fee is $5.00 which is less than you can spend on a cup of coffee so for me it was well worth it. I wouldn't plan a special trip to come here but if your in the area hiking or doing outdoor stuff I would definitely check this out.

Amazing collection of history and real artifacts, including uniforms, weapons, flags, letters, stamps, and even children's toys found from the civil war era and beyond.
