Fun little museum full of Virginia beer history, who knew there was so much. Super friendly and informative bartender. Fun if you are a beer fan and it's free.

What a great local find. We stumbled in on our tour of small towns of Virginia. Hugs and friends immediately. The business model is the best. First time I toured a museum with a beer!

Great beer, nice atmosphere and helpful bar tender.

I stayed an extra night in front Royal and it has been well worth the wait. This is just a great little town and it has what is almost a beer district right here on Chester St. with several breweries or beer outlets from which to choose. The Virginia beer museum really caught my attention and the young lady getting ready to open for business was so inviting so cordial so knowledgeable and so much fun I just couldn’t resist. I’ll post a picture of their array of beers but the one that really got my attention was George Washington’s original brew which I have to say has an air of colonial nostalgia and history about it. I’m gonna tour the inside rooms again and take a few more pictures but for anyone visiting front Royal Virginia this is must say frontage property.

This little free museum provides some overview of the history of beer in the United States and in Virginia. See Washington’s beer recipe and his standing order that beer should be part of the soldier’s daily ration. See information on jefferson and his use of beer while writing parts of the Constitution. The museum also has a tasting room where you can try different types of beer. You can purchase your beer here and just hang out in this incredibly relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend!

We visited here for the Burns Supper and we had a wonderful time! The customer service was wonderful and the atmosphere was welcoming. The walls have history on them and its fire pit out back was proven to be great for singing! Thanks yall!

This guy! A lawyer who owns it found a way to open a beer only place by opening a museum l. Awesome beer. He has a receipt for from President George days. Awesome.
