Reviews

I’m not one to go out of my way to write a bad review, but my experience here was so bad that I’m not going to go here again and warn friends.

My first visit to get quoted and pick frames was fantastic. When I dropped off the pictured piece and another piece I was warned to not to call and ask about status, they will call me. It was emphasized enough for it to be notably weird.

Well the estimated time came and went with no phone call. The next day I called and asked and was met with surprising frustration from the man who was speaking to me over the phone.

“Did you get a call?” “No.” “Well we called you” “No I promise you-“ “No we called you.”

Upon pick up, I was so annoyed with how rude he was, I literally showed the woman who met me my phone log. I never got a call. To make such a big deal about that was so uncomfortable and unfriendly. It was incredible, really.

To add salt to the wound of an upwards of $400 framing job, the piece was visually to the naked eye not centered in the matting. Pics included. Not the worst thing to me, but given how I was spoken to I was furious.

Maybe they operate differently now, but be warned: don’t call them unless they call you otherwise they apparently with throw a fit about it…..
This is the best framing store in all of Atlanta. They are brilliant and will help you select the perfect frame for your picture - I have gotten multiple things framed and keep coming back. You won’t be disappointed!

Matt is an expert, very friendly, and easy to work with, even for a customer who is not experienced in framing. He took the time to understand my needs and consulted with me throughout the process. The print and framing work were perfect and on time.

The best! They put together a beautiful 16 x 20 shadow box frame for our daughter that everyone continues to complement when they visit our house. Will always come back to them for our framing needs!

If you love crafts this place is for you. You will find everything you need at good prices.

To decorate the home seasonally it is spectacular and the candles are a dream. I greatly desired to go to this place. I bought everything for everyone and I was short, but I didn't have any more suitcases. 😅😂🤣

I would like a franchise to bring to PR.

I love this store and its background to Jesus!! The owners are true Christians, and GOD truly blessed them!! Amen! I loved the pic of Jesus in the manger and the star representing Jesus’ birth at Christmas !!

Staff are friendly but the store is not stocked well. If you’re looking for specific items, you’re better off choosing another craft store.
Far and away the best frame shop in Atlanta. Their work and service is top notch. I’ve framed several special pieces with them and I always leave pleased not only with the finished product but also the expertise of the staff (and doggy endorphins from Forrest the shop dog).
Chris recently helped me with his artistic vision and was very patient as I deliberated over selections. His suggestions were excellent.

This hobby lobby is okay. The staff are helpful but I noticed that a lot of their furniture is really banged up. Some of it has pieces falling off. The only thing you can buy there are floor models so this is an issue. They don’t seem to know how to put the furniture together quite right. I’d recommend shopping elsewhere where for furniture. The craft supplies are good though.
I cannot say enough good about this company and their custom made birch painting panels. I’ve had them made for a couple large projects, and they’re well built, solid, and they can include gesso and hanging cleats. They even had these wrapped up for me nicely to protect the edges. This is why I drive to ATL from Nashville - these are easily the best in the region!

This was my first time visiting this hobby Lobby. The setup was different from the one that I usually go to in Conyers. It was crowded because of the Black Friday sales. But getting checked out was not that long. They had the registers open and the young ladies were moving everyone pretty quickly.

Tried returning a glue gun recently purchased that didn’t work. We had the receipt. Apparently they had included the wrong size glue sticks. Wouldn’t accept return because it didn’t include the original packaging. Unacceptable customer service.

Went from rarely being that many people in to being too many people for the store to manage. They have a greeter which is cool. However, they have someone scanning items to give you a express pass but couldn't they just get on a register? I was really irritated by that. The line was into the aisle and they have what seems to be the newest least experienced folks on the registers. I guess the business is good but now they need to declutter the store and clean the floors.

This location I believe carries most of what you'd find at any other locations, being stocked well-enough to satisfy whatever arts and crafts projects you have. Where this location falls short is its awfully rude and at times invisible staff.

I've seen some bad customer service in my life, but good lord does this place take the cake and throw it in your face.

We've been twice: the first time we needed help finding a product that the website said they had in stock, but we couldn't find anyone to help us at all. There was one employee at the register, but they were dealing with a massive line of customers. We ended up finding what we needed in a random aisle that had absolutely nothing to do with the product. The second time we went, same situation, but we found an employee who treated us as if she couldn't believe we had the audacity to walk into her store and ask her a simple question, huffing and puffing about it only to be no help whatsoever. Then, at the registers, they at first had one lane open. An employee opened up the second one and called up whoever was next in line. We assumed it was us, as the customer that WAS in front of us had already sat their stuff down at the counter of register 1 for scanning. We got to register 2, and the employee told us, "I didn't mean YOU. I said, 'NEXT in line, and that isn't you." Sure, whatever. I apologized anyway to avoid an escalation (she gave me an eyeroll), only to have the customer that had already went to register 1 high-tail it behind me, call my wife and I rude for cutting him, and tell us we weren't sorry at all. Like, seriously? We didn't say anything to him and just left as soon as we paid.

If you like rude customers and bothered employees, this Michaels is just for you!

I go into a lot of different Hobby Lobby's across America and unfortunately at this moment this one is labeled as the worst I've dealt with.
First of all the entire time I shopped for the specific items I was looking to acquire from this establishment I never had an interaction with any employee . Most the time in Hobby Lobby I am always greeted at least once before I can make it to the section I need.
Walked around looking for an employee for at least 2 to 3 minutes. Remind you this is after a good 5 minutes of looking myself and grabbing the other items I was there for. When I finally found a young man small braids possibly dreads but the very beginning stages if so . I asked him if he worked this specific section he said no. so I asked him to please help me get an associate that works the area so I could get help. he then tells me well maybe I can help you. I tried to allow him to do that. it was a complete waste of time. he just wanted to suggest that I go to a different isle even after I told him the isle he was referring to was for a different kind of product and what I needed wasn't in that row. then he finally reluctantly tells me he will go find another associate . so I stand around for at least 5 minutes waiting on this new and hopefully knowledgeable associate . To my surprise I was met by the same young man who didn't know anything about the section. however comes back to tell me the other employee told him that I need to go to the isle which was the exact same isle I had already tried to educate this young man on . Its very clear he didn't pay attention to a single thing I said.
So multiple problems with this situation . One why after I told this young man that his suggestion was wrong did he not accept that and also transfer that information to the other associate . Why was I prompted a second time to go to an isle that I know doesn't carry what I need. TBH I don't think their was another employee and this young man wasted my time and got himself a little break while acting like he was helping me.

A Question I find myself asking a lot now days is does it fall on the employee or on the Management/Owners???
In this specific case I believe it was just lazy nonsense on the employees part. As I have never asked for another employee to be met by the same one.
However a lot of times I feel it actually falls on the managers and owners for not training their employees properly amongst a few other things.

I wish this was the end of this tale but we must endure the check out process now.
With the items I was able to find myself (not the ones I needed help with) I walked to check out. there wasn't a line at the checker as not too many people where in the store shopping. when I got to the young lady I set my items down she doesn't look up at me or say anything just grabs and scans my stuff and tells me the total. I thought most all stores had a standard of the cashier asking how our experience was or if we found everything okay.???

I don't know what's going on at this store but there's plenty of other Hobby Lobby's to choose from!

I love Michael's in general...but compared to other Michaels in the area, it was not stocked well and the store was unappealing. I will not be going back, but the staff was pleasant.

Take a look at the Northlake Michael's and it feels like two completely different worlds.

They were needing a little more restocking, but this was my first time in a Michael’s store at all. I usually go to hobby lobby but Michael’s could be a nice replacement or fill in
Awesome shop! Ask for Chris. He is so creative and has a real knowledge of color and texture. His ideas really pop. While you’re there, pet the dog and play a little fetch!
We love this place and have had multiple items framed here. They elevate the ideas you bring to them. Highly recommend.
Everyone at Atlanta Art Solutions deserves a standing ovation. After speaking with printers in Boston, Philadelphia, Washington DC, and Nashville, they were the first people who were willing to take on my print job when I needed a quick turnaround. They didn't even tack on a fee for doing the work so quickly. They asked important questions to make sure that they understood the project and could give me the best materials. They talked me out of an upsale that I did not need and the end result was perfect. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I will be using your services again!
This is definitely my only "go to" place for my framing and art needs. The work is always top quality and the service can't be beat. Peter is spectacular and can walk you through any of your art needs. I highly recommend these guys. You won't be disappointed.

Most Michael's are the same as far as what they carry. The thing that sets them apart is the employees. Are there employees on the floor? Are they helpful? Do they even smile? Well the employees at this store were great.
The Michael's is located at a shopping center that has a Home Goods, Office Depot, Ross and Marshall's as well as others. There is plenty of parking.

Hobby Lobby, as always, is providing an amazing shopping experience. The place is clean, well lighted, well organized, and complete. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

It is easy to find stuff you need from here. The quality of the Christmas ornaments and the trinkets and clothing materials from this place is outstanding. There are also many decorative things that are very interesting.

Parking is easy. Toilets are clean.

There is so much in this store, it is hard to write a detailed enough review. There was everything from seasonal items to high-end arts and crafts. They even had Christmas trees, ornaments and wreaths available and we visited in September. You could easily spend a few hours just browsing Hobby Lobby.
Highly recommend this professional shop for all things, as the name indicates, to solve any art problem. I went to frame pottery pieces, and had a budget in mind. Not only were they extremely professional and had it ready in a timely manner, but were flexible and creative to make the ideas I had work within the budget I needed to keep. They are communicative and I couldn't recommend them higher.
Wonderful team! They took good care of our artwork and framed it beautifully. I loved the creative input they provided - we originally wanted a black frame but they suggested a lovely deep blue frame to make it pop and WOW, they were right. It looks even better than we could have imagined!
Peter with Atlanta Art Solutions created display solutions for a Persian rug and a sculpture. He mounted the large rug on a frame board and he built a pedestal for the sculpture with an anchoring mechanism. This company does amazing work!
I had an excellent experience with Atlanta Art Solutions stretching and framing a rolled oil painting. Peter was awesome to work with, helped me pick out just the right frame, and everything went smoothly. The price was very reasonable as he gives you a discount if you get stretching and framing done at once. I had a very large 5ft square painting and it turned out beautifully. I'll have that for the rest of my life.

I highly recommend this store and will certainly be back myself.

Ok
The location can be tricky getting into and out of. But golly, they have such a fabulous assortment of frames and mats, it makes me want to buy more art work.

I'd recently purchased a water color and knew exactly the shades of purple and lavender I wanted for the frame and matting. I wandered into Rolling Frame Shop on a fluke and they had precisely what I was looking for.

Maybe a little more expensive than another frame shop I normally use. However to get what i was visioning it was well worth it!!!
I'm a pretty serious memorabilia collector who has had three batches of basketball jerseys framed over the years. All of them have been good experiences, but the RFR was the best by far. Not only did I pay pretty much the same price as I did when I first got started a decade ago, Andreas and his crew bent over backwards to accommodate my pickiness. Couldn't possibly recommend them enough. Great, great job.
