Loved the lunch. It was tasty and spicy.
A Hearty Vegetarian Experience. it offers a satisfying vegetarian dining experience. Authentic Vegetarian Cuisine: The restaurant successfully captures the essence of vegetarian flavors, offering a range of dishes that cater to different tastes.

Good Portion Sizes: the portions are generous, ensuring you leave the restaurant feeling satisfied.

Pleasant Ambiance: The restaurant has a clean and comfortable atmosphere, making it a suitable spot for family gatherings or casual dining.

Areas for Improvement:

Consistency in Taste: inconsistent flavor profiles across dishes or visits.

Limited Variety: While the menu offers a decent selection, it lacks extensive variety for those seeking a wider range of vegetarian options.

Service Could Be Better: occasional inconsistencies in service, such as slow service or lack of attentiveness.

it is a good option for vegetarians looking for a satisfying meal. The restaurant's strengths lie in its authentic flavors and generous portions. However, inconsistencies in taste, a potentially limited menu, and service issues prevent it from achieving a perfect score.

If you want to enjoy the tambda pandhra near the highway this is the place to go. The place offers the thali whether it be chicken mutton egg or veg. The vegetarian options are very limited. There is a lot of waiting here if you want to have a meal. You need to at least wait for 30-60 mins depending on what time and day you are visiting. It's generally occupied for all 7 days. There is a parking space provided by the restaurant.

MUST VISIT IF YOU ARE IN KOLHAPUR!!!!

If you are looking for a restaurant with great ambiance, this may not be the place for you. But if you are looking for amazing non-veg food, you should not miss this place at all.

We reached here at 12:30 and placed an order right away. The food was on our table at 12:37.
That's how fast they are.

The menu is no nonsense stuff. They have 2-3 set dishes for Mutton, Chicken and some Vegetarian. That allows them to prepare and serve the food faster.

We tried Special Chicken Thali and Kheema Thali. Both the thalis were amazing. Good thing is that they serve thali with 3 chapatis and mind you, those are big chapatis.

The food is served hot including the chapatis. That makes it even better. The Kheema was so good that I eneded up ordering one more plate.

They have seperate section for families. The staff is very polite and prompt.

They have ample parking space for both 2 and 4-wheelers.

I would like to give it a 3.5 star We had a thali here. They had given bhakri, papad, koshimbir, aamraas, raas, usal. The food was tasty though it was a bit spicy.
We tried here some of the authentic kolhapuri dishes, and turned out to be good exp and value for money as well.
Veg Kolhapuri was very nice, I ate many veg kolhapuri but this was different.
Taste was very good.

Very nice for Non Veg
Typically Kolhapuri 👍🏼👍🏼
Taste was good.

Service was prompt. The place is ideal for family and large group.

Tried Special Mutton Thali here.
Mutton fry was served along with khima and Tambda Pandhra rassa.

They serve chapati/ bhakri along with thali. Opted for bhakri which was good.

They provided tambda and pandhra rassa in separate container which is good system.

Car parking no issues

The best restaurant in Kolhapur I have been too. It is far better than Opel and Dehati. We order's Mutton Kharda thali and special mutton thali was too good. Kharda mutton was awesome. Kheema served in thali was yummy. Pandhra and Tambda rassa was tasty. No air conditioner in the restaurant but they have air mist. Ample car parking. Service was too good.
The food is genuinely good. Nice place to have a simple maharashtrian meal.
They can work better on the kitchen and overall ambience.
I eaten Special Thali.
Like the taste also qty was good.
All waiters are polite and given good service.
I will recommend everyone to eat out from this hotel.
Not recommended, we order paneer Tikka Masala and roti as we take first bite it feels like stale food

The food quality is excellent no doubt.
All the items are genuine in the test.
And i am happy with the food quality.
But I am not satisfied with the service provided by your hotel. Which is non negotiable at this type of brand hotels.
The hotel guys are only watching us Nobody comes to serve immediately.
I will just suggest management provide good quality service.

Food quality is very worst. I am not sure why this restaurant has these many good reviews. But we found mutton thali one of the worst in Kolhapur. Don't waste your time here.

I went to Hotel Parakh hoping for a tasty mutton thali, but it wasn't good. The mutton was dry and the kheema was watery. Overall, it was disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for mutton thali. There are better options available.

The restaurant is decent, but I feel it's somewhat overrated. We had the chicken thali and it was just okay. Tambda rassa was bland. On a positive note, pandhara rassa was flavorful.
Be prepared for longer wait times on weekends, around 45-60 minutes. Overall, it's an average dining experience.

From staff excellence to quality of food everything here deserves 5 stars. We each got a different non veg thali and all agreed that the best were the egg curry and the mutton masala. This is a must visit place if you are in the area!

Right up front I have to say, what a great place to stop on my way back home. I made a visit to kolhapur especially to have the mutton thali with tamda pandra rassa and I was not disappointed in the least.
If you are driving in the late evening or night, keep your eyes peeled, Parakh is surrounded by a lot of bright lights and they just merge into one.
First there is ample parking space and plenty of help with parking.
If you are travelling the highway, then note that the washrooms are clean and well appointed.
The service is excellent. The mutton thali arrived really quickly. One wati of mutton sukha. A mutton kheema and 2 watis of orange and white rassa. I experimented with a spoonful of rassa, it wasn't great and I quickly movednon to theutton and the kheema. Both of which were well spiced and altogether quite awesome.
But the 2 rassas haunted me and finally I asked the waiters how they were eaten. With understanding smiles they explained various ways of consuming the rassas. One said 'take a bite of the bhakri and then take a sip of one of the rassas', another said 'rip up the bhakri and dump it into the rassa'. Count to 10 and fish out a piece, add some chopped onion and enjoy. Now, now this was soooo good.
This was glorious mutton broth which has been spiced. The tamda rassa is spicy and the panda rassa is subtly spiced. The only thing I could have wished for was a cold. I kid you not, this is the type of food that will just clear the airways in no time.

This is one of the good non-vegetarian hotel in kolhapur . We had kolhapuri mutton with solkadhi. Quality of food is very good particularly Chapati and rice is very nice. But this place is always crowded so you have to plan accordingly. Service is very fast and good. Overall nice place to have lunch and dinner.

There is lot of waiting so if you want to dodge it, go as early as possible when the restaurant resumes its service in the day. what stands out for this restaurant is the service, cleanliness and hygiene and food taste.

Recently on our trip to Kolhapur, my husband & I had the pleasure of dining at Dehati.
We ordered mutton masala thali & mutton fry thali - both of which were delicious.
I wasn't a big fan of pandra & tambda rassa until I had it here ! The pandra & tambda was amazing !! 🙌🏾 Also, they served a small bowl of mutton kheema in both our thalis and omg I've never had a mutton kheema so good 💞
The gravies tasted even better with rice - they serve it with Indrayani rice. (Rice lovers don't miss this combination).

Mutton fry, mutton masala & mutton keema - all three had it's unique taste, although it wasn't very spicy - I'm guessing it was balanced in such a way as to cater to all kinds of public, both local & tourists.

But this is not all, I would make a special mention for their service - they serve every dish one by one, like it's served at home, unlimited tambda pandra, they'll ask you if you want another chapati the moment they see you almost finishing the earlier one.

Overall, food is a 4, service is a 5.

Note : We had a wait time of 15 minutes at 9pm on a Saturday.

Located little away from city's hustle and easily accessible on main road, this hotel serves authentic Kolhapuri dishes.
Tried mutton thali, chicken thali & Puran poli thali.
All were impressive, meat was cooked to perfection. Surprisingly Puran poli thali was available & was delicious.
Service is little slow but wait is worth as you'll rewarded with amazing food.
Ambience is relaxing & comfortable. Table was available easily on weekends.
Prices are normal as per market standard and experience you get.
Plenty of parking space is available.
You can also try Paan from shop outside restaurant.

Best and must go place in Kolhapur try they special mutton thali and dry mutton thali. Its the best the mutton pieces are all boneless and well cooked. Food and keema just melts in the mouth. For desert try basundi or gulab jamun you will never regret visiting this place.

Tip: go on a weekday and go at the time the place opens otherwise you will find a waiting line.

Despite waiting an hour for our table, the experience at this restaurant was more than worth it, thanks to their exceptional Mutton Thali. The wait may test your patience, but the flavors in every bite make it all worthwhile. Highly recommend for those craving a delightful culinary journey.

We had lunch here..we ordered the Punjabi dishes and the taste was nice. Also, the service is good. But if we consider the expensiveness here, the Punjabi dishes are more expensive than the thali system. But overall a nice experience of visiting here.

I loved the food. Its pure indulgence. Tambada pandhra Rassa was ultimate. Chugged 6 vatis of Tambada pandhra Rassa.
Dehaati special thali was too much for me. I would suggest opting for either mutton thali or chicken thali.

"Padma restaurant offered a truly exceptional dining experience. From the moment I walked in, the welcoming ambiance set the stage for a memorable evening. The staff was not only courteous but also impressively knowledgeable about the menu, guiding us through a delightful culinary journey.

The menu at Padma was a masterpiece in itself, featuring a rich assortment of dishes. Each plate was a testament to the chef's skill, with a burst of flavors that left a lasting impression. I found their signature dish to be particularly exquisite.

The beverage selection at Padma was equally impressive, with a range of options that perfectly complemented the meal. From cocktails to fine wines, there was something for everyone. The dessert was a fitting climax, a sweet symphony that wrapped up the dining experience on a high note.

What truly stood out at Padma was the attention to detail, evident in every aspect of the evening, from service to presentation. It's not just a restaurant; it's a culinary journey that I can't wait to embark on again. I wholeheartedly recommend Padma for an unforgettable dining adventure."

This is a nice Pure Vegetarian restaurant located in New Shahupuri area and has been running for a long time. Slightly difficult to locate as it is in the basement floor of the building. The ambience is good but not the dinner date kind of a place. It could be a nice place for a small professional meeting or friends' get-together. The service is quick and nice. Food served was warm and tasty. They provide options of half serving which is sufficient if you are a single person visiting for food. The prices are reasonable. They also have the Punjabi and Maharashtrian Thali options. They accept cards as well as UPI payments. Overall, a good place for a quick meal. 😀
Best for Maharashtrian food not for panjabi , ordered paneer chatpata but didn't go well other than panjabi marathi foods are very well

We took a parcel from here. Bhakri were too small for the price they charge and we had ordered kothimbir vadi which was not good at all and also was stale. Worst experience of a well known hotel in Kolhapur.
Pure veg restaurant with decent taste of North Indian style food..
Harabhara kabab and basundi are good and tasty.
Cleanliness could be better..
The staff is humble and polite..
Overall vegetarian people would love food here ..

Looking at history and the ratings, I had high expectations for this place.
First impression was really good. Although it was a hot summer afternoon, the mist sprayers brought down the temperature n made us feel comfortable.

Food experience was not so good. Tried mutton kheema thali, kheema was ok nothing great about it. Tambda pandhara rassa can hardly be considered as average. Kheema Egg felt like Panjabi dish.

Getting 4 stars rating by foodie people in kolhapur is not so easy! I can confidently say that I have tasted few other khanawals in kolhapur which are better. So Personally I felt this is lil overrated, or may be itaste has degraded over time.

Prices are almost comparable to rates in Pune. So from cost perspective as well it is unsatisfactory.

Wao! Had an amazing lunch today at Pahunchar Restaurant, Kolhapur. This place serves crazy Non veg thalis and a la Carta menu.
The food is being prepared at owners home and served at the restaurant. You can simply add home prepared menu advantage ,when you visit this restaurant.
It has a bar in the ground floor and restaurant at first floor. The restaurant is neat, clean, hygienically good and awesome for family get together. The personal touch of the manager and staff is evident, while serving food to the customer. The wash room was clean and tidy.
The food quality was outstanding.
