First time visiting this place, I found a hidden treasure.
I have never before heard happy birthday songs and danced while choosing products. Priscilla, a true show woman, put on an excellent performance. 100% recommended the bread, the filled donuts and palmiers.

LOVE, LOVE this bakery! The jelly or Nutella donuts are LOADED with filling and a soft delicious dough. The pastries are ALL amazing!! The bread selection is impressive too.

I love this bakery! I always pass by when I’m in the area to grab some sweets. The lemon bar is probably one of my favourites, I’m excited to see what they have for the holidays.

This bakery offers amazing and fresh baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and more. We tried the veggie sandwich which was very good. The almond croissant was our favourite item and it was so yummy. Highly recommend this spot.
Busy bakery, lots of bread to choose from. Good service from staff. The bread are in the open, exposed section needs to have a covering.
For our wedding we wanted to do a donut wall. However we were struggling to find a place that was nut free and gluten free as we had multiple guests with celiacs and severe nut allergies. My bridesmaid who is celiacs recommended sugar suite and we went and tried some of their baked goods and they were delicious! Placing the order was easy and Kenzie was super helpful. The day before the wedding my bridesmaid picked them up. When I got to see them I was shocked at how beautiful they were! After dinner I was worried everyone would be too full but the donuts were an absolute hit! They were beautiful and not a single one was left over at our wedding. Thank you sugar suite for such a great experience and catering to all our guests allergies. People were raving about it after and asking where we got our donuts!
The fall specials are so good here. The pumpkin scones are to die for and the mini pumpkin pie tarts are perfect. A reminder that if you get 6 loose pastries, there's a discount.
I will definitely not come back here again. The workers are rude and not friendly. I was entering in on Thanksgiving day with my servise dog. It was a cold day and he has a coat on and they said we are not gonna let you with your dog I told them he’s a service dog, they had attitude and not friendly at all. I had to left the store. It’s not appropriate behavior… Hope you can get a happy
Couldn’t be more grateful for the wedding cake that Sugar Suite made for us! My husband eats gluten free and this cake was so soft and so delicious, you would never know it was GF. The cupcakes were perfect and the brownies were delicious. Not a single one was left at the end of the night. Thank you for being apart of our big day!!

This bakery is a gem! Everything is made in-house from scratch. The service is attentive and welcoming, and the decor is beautiful! I tried a few different cookie flavors - all delicious, it's hard to pick a favorite! The chocolate/vanilla twist serve was super creamy - I also loved it! Lucky you if you live nearby, and if you don't, this bakery is truly worth traveling for!

We ordered my daughter’s wedding cake (vanilla with lemon filling) and it was the best cake I’ve tasted. Nobody could tell it was gluten-free. Also ordered custom cookies for the wedding and whoever does the writing on these cookies is an artist. They were beautiful as well as delicious!! Highly recommend Sugar Suite. We also pick up their cinnamon rolls regularly. Thank you so much for making our special day delicious!

Everything at The Sweetest Thing is phenomenal!! The cake and cookies are 10/10! I am obsessed with the soft serve! Every flavour is perfect 🤩 and you can select one of the cookies to be ‘mixed in’ - truly decadent!
I got a bunch of treats on my home from vacation. Really wish I would've stopped in sooner so I could've discovered how awesome they are and pick up more before I came home. Can't remember the names of everything, but it was all incredible. The pumpkin fritter in particular was amazing. Can't wait for my next trip to Canada now...
Sugar Suite made our vegan wedding cake! Chocolate with vanilla icing. Absolutely beautiful and delicious! It was fluffy, moist and the perfect amount of sweet. We had so many compliments on it! 10/10 recommend. Can’t wait to eat what we froze for our first anniversary:)
As someone with food allergies, finding a delicious and safe cake for my wedding was a top priority—and this business absolutely exceeded all of my expectations! We ordered a tiramisu-flavored cake, and it was beyond amazing. Not only did it look beautiful, but the taste was phenomenal! Our guests couldn't stop raving about how good it was, and many couldn't even tell it was allergy-friendly. I'm so grateful to have found a bakery that creates such high-quality, safe options for those of us with dietary restrictions. Highly recommend!
We had our wedding cake made by Sugar Suite and are so glad we did! They were warm from the start, by inviting us to sample some flavours and working with us on our design and sizing. They were responsive and coordinating pick up was so easy. The vision we had paled in comparison to the real thing — the cake was stunning! And delicious too! Many of our guests are the cake and really enjoyed it, which was amazing. And no one knew it was gluten free!! Definitely recommend!
One of my all time favourite bakeries! Always fresh and delicious treats - my fave are the shortbread, chocolate chip cookies, cakes and apple crumble bars. The owners and staff go above and beyond to be helpful, friendly and speedy. These chocolate chip cookies are always stocked in my house! Party cakes are always beautiful and I can stop in with my crazy design ideas and you all make them come to life. Thank you for being so consistently good and always taking care of us - even with home deliveries during Covid! We will never forget that extra level of service.
I really enjoy the sweetest thing Bakery all-time favorite is there chocolate chunk cookies but I love everything the muffins this cinnamon buns are to die for They remind me of my grandmothers. The muffins. The butter tarts are just amazing. You have to go and try it out. I promise you. It’s delicious and their ice cream cones are so good.
Stopped by this well known bakery shop after a nice walk to the waterfront and picked up cinnamon bun desert. Fresh and tasty. Enjoy the sweet treat once awhile 😋

Decent cupcakes. The buttercream/icing lacked any flavor on the canada day ones. The cake on the lemon blueberry cake lacked luster and flavor. Overall just about ok. Looked pretty.
I've been all over Canada and have never found a bakery that could even come close to the quality and kind service like at Black Forest Pastry and Bakery. I have never had a bad product. I love this place, keep up the amazing work. You are an asset to Oakville.

I ordered an 8” cookies and creme cake, along with two dozen mini vegan lemon cupcakes and they were excellent! All the bridal shower guests enjoyed it. It was the best gluten free cake I have ever eaten.
Everyone who I communicated with at the bakery was very accommodating and quick to respond. This was my first time ordering from Sugar Suite and I will definitely use them again in the future.

The cupcakes were so amazing! So delicious, I can’t believe it’s gluten free. I used to travel far distances to get desserts that are gluten free, I’m so glad it’s close to me now in the heart of Oakville. 100% recommend.
The scones are amazing!! We tried the Peach Scone and the Lemon Blueberry Scone and they were both so very soft and delicious. The staff is also super friendly and helpful.
Best natas of the 4 other places I’ve tried in Oakville; crispity on the outside and perfectly delicious custard in the inside. Owners are friendly and passionate about their food. All good vibes and stands up to my Toronto food adventure. This is also one of my family’s favourites!!

This is just a really good bakery. Their donuts, croissants, cannolis are all so good. My personal favourite is the Oreo donut just wow. Going to make it a mission to try everything they have. The people who work here are also so so sweet, definitely give this place a visit!

I asked for traditional Portuguese cake, flaky/puff pastry combined with sweet egg and pound cake, and they delivered the real deal!
My guests were amazed at the taste and how fresh it was. One of the comments was that this piece of cake brought them memories of our homeland. You have exceeded our expectations that’s for sure. The price was also very affordable, this cake served well over 40 people, I was glad I had left overs to eat at home lol… this was so good, I’ll be ordering another cake like this soon, for “just because” event. ☺️

Was walking around n saw the mini eggs cookie on display. Got a mix of cookies to try. Great friendly staff, you get to see the baking action at the back.

Cute shop, food is tasy and of quality, loved my dirty chai, and customer service is great. They give a personal touch. They even sell day olds that are still so soft. I'll have to try them next time.
Hi. We have picked up Croissants & treats to go before but today was the first time we ate in for breakfast and the service was terrible. The woman who brought our order was impatient and down right rude. One of our breakfast orders was incorrect and we said “no problem, it looks delish.” With no real acknowledgement or answer. We asked for water to accompany our breakfast (we had ordered coffees, breakfast and bunch of croissants to go) and after sighing and not verbally answering she brought one glass of water, we asked for a second water and she sighed and rolled her eyes. Again, the food was good but won’t be going back - it was really not enjoyable.
Stopped by today for the first time after passing by for many years. I was reccomended the double chocolate cupcakes. And they did not disappoint. Perfect size, sweetness, and amount of frosting. If the other baked goods I got today are half as good, I would still rate this spot as five stars.
In the past I recall really enjoying the Croissant Express Bakery. It is a nice spot to enjoy a croissant or pastry - which I like. I had the French toast today and did not enjoy it. They over soaked the bread in the eggs, and cooked it on the same frying pan as an omelet or something that tasted like green onions. I still like the real maple syrup and the fruits were decent, but won’t be buying food from here again.
Beautiful little bakery in Oakville. Great ambiance, very pleasant atmosphere, great decor. Cute desserts. You see them and you want to grab a bite. I got some Valentine's Day cookies and loved them. I also tried a toffee cookie and it was delicious
I’m not from Oakville, so when I see a bakery I need to go in there and get some sweets before I drive back home. I just went out for brunch with a friend and this bakery was basically right beside it. Grabbed a couple of cupcakes and I thought they were really good. I definitely preferred the skor flavour over the red velvet if I had to choose, but I enjoyed both. The shop is also very cute and the staff was very nice. Also, loved the free samples! I’d definitely come back if I’m in the area.
Ola bakery went above and beyond for me! They were so kind to put aside an order of an assortment of treats for me right before a Christmas party. They were delightful over the phone and so accommodating in person. The treats were delicious & all my friends loved them!
Really tried to give this place a chance but couldn't make it work. One of the guys who work there is very rude. Not to mention they're overpriced. I payed $11 for a poutine and not only were the fries disgusting but it was just cheese. Absolutely no gravy (a tiny bit at the very bottom and that's it). Horrible horrible horrible.
I made a random stop to grab coffee on my way home and was so happy I did. The coffee was wonderful and the cappuccino was AMAZING. I also got the everything bagel toasted with cream cheese and it was so fresh and tasty. Was totally surprised as it was a cafe in a medical building. Not to mention how cute and peaceful it was. I definitely will be back ....I forgot to mention this adorable little boy took my order 😊
They have very good croissants and a cute atmosphere but recently their croissants have gotten a lot smaller - shrinkflation. They used to be 3x the size.
Always a great experience, dine in or take out or even just simply to pick up a few tarts of buns. Staff is friendly and helpful whether you speak Portuguese or not!!!
I went to the Ola bakery on Friday to order a dinner for my family. I ordered two platters of food, a meat lasagna and a goat. When I got the food, it was warm, and I could tell it was made fresh. My family and I enjoyed the food that Rita made. It was delicious and a delight to eat. For the quality of food that I got, the price was excellent. Food preparation, customer service and taste 10/10! I will be going back to order more catering from this place.

Nice staff but breakfast needed TLC..single sausage overcooked and cold one slice of bacon pre cooked and eggs cold.
Excellent bakery! The croissants were extremely delicious 🤤 First time having a multi grain croissant, and i was really impressed how good and fresh it tasted. 😋 Their coffee is ok. Their sandwiches are excellent; flavourful and BiG portions of chicken. They have cozy seating inside and a nice patio. Friendly staff too. Overall a great experience, and highly recommend!
we were heading to the falls and made a stop at Tria , we had to call the chef to help us on the fastest and yummiest breakfast.. he came from the back with a bright smile and made us 2 breakfast sandwiches and home fries.. we definitely are coming back.
Everything in here is extraordinary. When I visit my family from out of town, always asks me to bring the buns from here. I went to famous bakery in Portugal, Pastéis de Belém, and the custard tarts here taste even better than in Portugal! The staff, food and coffee here is phenomenal!
I had a job interview and then I was lost with so many menu options.. the chef helped me with a very polite way on choosing my meal .. I ended up getting a crispy chicken shawarma wrap with lentil soup on the side .. it was so yummy .

This location is by far my favourite COBS bread I’ve ever been too! The staff is so incredibly friendly and welcoming. They remember your face, greet you with a smile and always make great suggestions that keep me coming back for more! I walked into this location as a one off because I was hungry and wanted something fast - I now come every Thursday to fill up on bread and my favourite treats and it truly is because of the staff. Thank-you!

Fantastic little hole in the wall in Kerr Village. Modestly priced for both the Cafe and deli. Excellent service, delicious homemade bread and sweets, and coffee that's better than Tim Hortons. They also serve beer and have a patio area. Definitely recommend you try this spot over the other cafes along kerr st.
My husband and I popped in on a Saturday afternoon. Had 2 delicious sandwiches on the most amazing buns and 3 Portuguese tarts for $21! Nice little patio overlooking Kerr St too!
We all know that the chocolate chip cookies at Black Forest Pastry Shop are absolutely the best. I have recently discovered another hidden gem, their banana cream pie. I highly recommend that you try their banana cream pie, it's absolutely delicious.
Honestly the best croissants I’ve had outside of France…ever. I’ve been coming here since I was a child and always get a tuna sandwich on a croissant and bring home a box of mixed croissants for the family.
HOWEVER I sadly cannot give this 5 stars solely based on the horrible service. Staff take absolutely forever to serve you and even when they do they tend to either look flustered / confused or bored / half listening.

Amazing little atmosphere you'd think you are in Portugal...! Very warm welcome, great coffee and hands down best pastel de nata I ever had! Thank you :)
Worst shawarma I’ve ever tasted at an establishment. The rice was bland and watery, the sauce was more sour than flavorful. The fruit that came with the full English breakfast platter was clearly not fresh. The bacon had an odd cardboard box look, and tasted weird. Overall unsatisfactory, only good thing we had was the white chocolate macadamia cookie. I will probably have to grab some tims after this as the meal was very subpar.
I've always seen this place walking down to to the vet and decided to finally go in today, and I'm so glad I did. I picked up 3 orange tarts and 3 Portugese egg tarts and they are to die for. I can't wait to go again and try more things!

Just had this Amazing food at lunch time ! Nelson and Rita are the most amazing, friendly persons who aim to please. Well done to both of you and outstanding service and smile ! My fave please to be for breakfast or just a coffee , deserts or lunch. 5 stars plus

I was browsing on Kerr Street today and thought I would pop in to this little bakery and I selected a few items and once it was packaged and I went to pay with my visa the owner told me that they only take cash or debit. I didn’t have either so I apologized and expected to leave empty-handed but the owner told me to take the items and to come back when I was in the area next and not to make a special trip for it. She said “we are all in this together and I hope you enjoy these treats”. I was so appreciative. Cristina is lovely and she has some delicious baked goods (I can attest to the custard tart being out of this world) and at 11 AM on Sunday she was almost sold out of bread so I assume her breads are excellent. Please go see her and support local 314 Kerr Street

Decided to try this place after the sign on the door said fresh eclairs. Looks like a very good Bakery open concept lots of sweets and treats the chocolate chip cookie was fantastic and I still did not eat the eclair overall worth the visit it was the only place on the Lakeshore that had a lineup so that means something's good.
