We went there today first time as we normally travel to vegan coffee shop and ice cream place in Manchester. The staff was 10/10
I can’t fault the guy, the atmosphere was ok however I really didn’t like higher chairs(I don’t find it family friendly) and no drinks/food menu on the wall makes a bit difficult to make a choice… We loved our hot chocolates however Oreo cake was 4/10.
The warm food in cabinet looked lovely so we will definitely come back to try more things in the future. Thank you for lovely service and drinks.

Fabulous place!! Wonderful selection of amazing cakes and savouries. So much so it's difficult to decide!.all home baked. Vibrant atmosphere and really welcoming service from Simon. Extra bonus, selection of vegan groceries for sale . Left with a happy tummy and full shopping bag . Will definitely be back. X
I think you need to adjust your closing times as I got there 7mins before closing time stated and I was told by a staff member who was outside that it was closed

Discovered this hidden gem of a coffee shop. Really welcoming. Cappuccino and hot choc lovely! Cupcakes and warm chocolate fudge cake delicious, will return!
Good produce although a bit pricey. The elderly silver haired gentleman that works there rudely bleats to the customer if you bring a £20 note to buy £5 worth of goods. Here is an idea, get a decent float organised. Also they run out of what you want sometimes at 2pm two hours before they close. Total lack of organisation.
My partner and I visited the cafe on a wet miserable Sunday afternoon.

Service excellent, really friendly. Food really good. Seemed to be a regular stop for the customers.

Should be allowed to put no stars. I was starving and the only thing close by was nasty Greg's. The sausage rolls weren't done properly at all. Also who wants to eat cold beans in a pasty. Why do they have a hot counter when EVERYTHING is cold. All Greg's need shutting down as they are nasty also over priced for what you get. Wouldn't feed it my dog,

Classic Cakes made me two cakes for an 80th birthday celebration. They were brilliant. They transferred my design into perfect cake.

This is the 3rd time Classic Cakes have made a celebration cake for me. Each time a special design, each time so perfect and admired by many. The cakes taste amazing.
Brilliant service and fantastic quality. They made an 80th birthday cake and everyone commented on how special and personal it looked. Their day to day bakery food looked better than Greggs too!
Woman working on her own at 10:40 on 17/08/23 was extremely rude - merely enquired whether a lucozade came in the breakfast sandwich deal and I was looked at like a rodent

Best cakery in Stockport - hands down!!! Super place to come for a cake and a coffee and to shop for Vegan essentials. Super friendly owner, always happy to have a chat but best of all makes the most delicious cakes!! We always come here for our Vegan cakes - even making a special trip to Stockport just to buy some cakes! A hidden gem and worth the visit every time!

I've jusr destroyed a couple of lemon buns from Ainsworths and i'm now in a sugary haze. The ham salad baguettes are a classic as well. And the quiche and rum truffles as well. All round top quality bakery.
Amazing cafe with a great selection of sweet and savoury delights! You must come here if you’re a vegan! The staff are friendly and the location is perfect.
Hopeless is being kind. Everytime I go in they tell me the pasties or sausage rolls are not hot, which is greggs code for stone cold. How difficult is it to keep a pasty warm? Maybe you could consult NASA or Cern in Switzerland and they could come up with a solution.
Pretty good shopping experience, tad expensive in some items but if you know what the prices on things are then you can usually find a cheaper alternative. Disappointed that sometimes the flowers don't have any bags, so the shop ends up with wet floors and sad, soggy customers. The bathrooms are very stinky, but that is due to the shoppers, not the shop itself.
Very cosy Vegan café where you can find a good selection of savoury food and very tasty sweets, all delicious and low prices. The cakes are their best product and if you need a dairy free cake to celebrate any event then this is the place to go.
I pop in here after hospital visits . Good range of clothes for everyone... they stopped selling cds ages ago which I miss picking one up when I shop .. picked up some food items also .. not overpriced ...
Love shopping at sainsburys. Decided to call in cafe with my sister. I was extremely disappointed with the staffing today, the poor lad on his own. Taking orders, on the till, making coffee, running food out to tables. We Felt quite uncomfortable to see this. Other staff members in the back and occasional coming out to wipe tables and take the trolley out. I use to work for m&s and we all would of jumped on to help service the customers. Then clean tables.etc. as there was enough spare tables. The management needs to address there staffing
Great store with a great selection of food and clothing as well as awesome friendly staff! The only thing I’d like to see changed would be the introduction of raw halal meat, specifically chicken. The halal selection already in store is good but not good enough. Other than that - it’s a super store!

This place looks amazing but unfortunately they don’t take cards so I couldn’t buy anything when I went! It’s 2023, get a card machine!
They have a £1 meal section like pies and set meals of Which I have eaten not bad at all
I have been a regular shopper at the store since it opened 2002/3. I have always found the staff to be very helpful and pleasant, they have a good variety of products, the instore argos click and collect is very useful. Cafe could do with improving as very slow service not very organised. Toilets always clean.

So glad I found this bakery staff are all friendly helpful and go the extra mile their bread and cakes are delicious and a very reasonable price with the option of delivery can’t fault this firm.

I visited Nice Buns yesterday on a cake run for my wife an wow what a hidden treasure.
Arrived to be greeted by this really polite lady who didn't rush me to make a decision and even took time to help me so I didn't buy the wrong item.
The selection of cakes was second to none.
My personal fav was the gold bar donut

Also, this place takes cash only so a sign on the window would be good so i didnt have to wait to be served, then get told cash only!

Great products just a shame about the sullen service that is a constant in here. I much prefer this bakery over Greggs however no matter how many times I go in we are always treated to the ‘Do I really have to serve you’ attitude that comes from every single different person in the shop! If you go in, expect to have a tasty product but from the sullen attitude any one of the attendants…good luck!

Shelves were reasonably well stocked but they still struggle with value for money. They're pushing 'locked prices' which offer reasonable value, the rest is noticeably expensive. All the Covid measures were in place and I felt reasonably safe shopping, although some of the customer's struggled with the current necessary ettiquettes'.

Really good checkout experience, served by Suzanne with good down to earth friendly service.
Cost.
Comparing others in the same vicinity bit expensive if you hold a discount card or coupon don't hesitate to use it.

Amazing place with very good food especially if you are in a hurry. Staff are so nice and always serve with a smile in their face especially the managers who go above and beyond. Can recommend with all my heart ❤️.
Okay, and better than some other similar bakeries but bacon/sausage/egg sandwiches cannot be stored in an oven in a plastic bag and then be expected to be palatable.
The food here is really good and the prices are even better. I wouldn’t leave a low star review as I know it can have a negative impact on small business and wouldn’t want that especially one in the local community. As mentioned above food is brilliant, not sure how they work out prices as it’s different every time but still very low? Anyway my only issue is the staff who seem very miserable and don’t like to take more than one item order at once.

I ordered a carrot cake and it was the best one I ever tried! I got it delivered at home and experienced no issues with it! Also, in the note I added that it was my boyfriend’s birthday and they add a little banner on top of the cake, so thoughtful! 10 out of 10 experience

First time I’d used Classic Cakes and boy did they deliver the cake was stunning and tasty and just what we wanted for our daughters birthday.. Will definitely be ordering again for my sons birthday later this year.. Thank you to all at Classic Caked
You can't go wrong at Greggs. They have hot pastry, cold and hot sandwiches and single pizza slices. Best off all their sweet treats are awesome. I recently tried their new menu items, Mexican Chicken Chipotle Wrap and Smoky Cajun Rice with BBQ Chicken and Sweetcorn Fritters. Loved the wrap but I had the Cajun Rice hot, that was a mistake as I also warmed up the spinach and it lost its flavour.

Bakery seemed to have quite a reasonable good choice (not as good as others). I couldn't believe that there was no prices though clear for anything to buy. I would expect there to be a board of costs of the sandwiches and cakes clearly for customers to choose what to spend easily. Also listing the cake choices as well would be helpful rather than guessing as the staff member did.
I went for an interview for a job they was very nice and friendly I was asked to go back for a trial run next I can't wait
Only visit occasionally but never disappointed good staff good choice fair prices👍😀 sausage rolls are my favourite. Cakes are decent also.

I couldn't believe how true to life the Dr Martens cake looked when I picked it up from the shop. The details of the cake were identical to the photos I sent in. The absolute best part is that it tastes amazing too. Oh yeah, the little cupcakes went down a treat!

This place came to my rescue on Monday when Barbecue was closed. The cajun chicken wrap was filling and tasty. Possibly slightly too much mayo however this is nitpicking. Friendly staff.

I’ve just eaten one of the salted caramel biscoff cookie cups which looked amazing and tasted delicious. Brilliant delivery service and the delivery chap even diverted to my mums house to drop off as I wasn’t home.

Cos everyone goes into Tesco's for greggs. This is the 4th greggs in Stockport now., 2 greggs I understand but they like multiply round here.
My son picked up a bag of bread, scones and teacakes from the TooGoodTooGo app and OMG it was the freshest and tastiest bread I've eaten in years!
Its a bit of a walk for me but I'm coming here from now on. I'm not buying supermarket bread again.

Ordered some cupcakes for mothers day and not only did they look stunning but they tasted delicious! Really easy to order and lovely staff to greet you on collection. They've become a real staple in the community and I'm looking forward to see what the future holds for them! Definitely recommend.
Have ordered a few times from this bakery. Incredible delivery boxes for Valentine's Day, Christmas hampers etc. Also recommend the pastel de natas which are hard to get right - but these are superb. My go-to for beautifully presented and expertly made treats.

They’ve hugely expanded their range...and it’s all FRESH! The pies are delicious, they do yummy focaccia. They even do pizza.

It’s pretty much a one of a kind sort of shop, especially in Stockport — if I had to compare it with anywhere then perhaps The Eighth Day Shop & Cafe in Manchester would be it. The cakes are much better here though…

Greenhalghs Bakery do an amazing G I Bread. It's large as well, very reasonably priced and tastes delicious! Their cake range is very moorish as well. The Bee-sting is a whopper of a cake, you can't eat it in one go! (Unless you're starving or greedy!)
