Claire Green Bespoke Cakes and Catering

My partner and I had been really struggling to arrange a wedding cake because we only had a small group of 10 people in total and as soon as you mention "wedding" everywhere bumps their prices up and we also preferably wanted the cake to be vegan. We were running out of time to arrange a cake and Mark got in touch with Claire to see if she had any availability a matter of a week before our wedding day.

To our relief Claire was available and she was incredibly professional and friendly when my partner discussed our ideas for the cake over the phone and email. We both felt confident that our wedding cake was in good hands and we no longer had to worry about it. Furthermore, the price she quoted was very reasonable and we are incredibly grateful that she agreed to make a cake for us at such short notice.

While I had envisioned the cake to be a bit more decorative with flowers and butterflies, I fully understand that Claire only had my partner's words to go off and he had said butterflies or flowers and to keep it simple, rather than to include both. Therefore I am by no means being negative towards Claire because she has done what she was asked.

Decoration aside, the cake itself was incredibly tasty, and of course vegan which was so important due to one of our guest's dietary needs. We would both highly recommend Claire to anyone who is looking for a professional and tasty cake for any occasion at a reasonable price.

Used Claire for my grandsons birthday. Food was excellent and was enjoyed by all. Could not fault the great customer service, nothing too much trouble. Thanks again

I have ordered from Claire’s a few times now, from Halloween, birthday and Christmas cakes. Plus just walking into the shop last minute, the staff have always been amazing a whip up a box for me. My son has special requirements and Claire has always been so helpful. Her cakes are absolutely amazing and Claire herself is a lovely lady. Keep going because I honestly don’t know what sk3 would do without you ❤️

I couldn't be happier. We ordered 2 platters for my daughter's second birthday and it was great, we couldn't fault it. The staff were really friendly and helpful. There was a nice range of bagels/wraps/sandwiches with a variety of flavours. We'll definitely be back.

Popped in to buy some cakes as I'd heard great reviews about this place. They were wonderful, very tasty! I'm going to try one of their platters next as they look amazing! We'll be back 😊

All the reviews on here are excellent so I was a bit surprised at my order.
Last Friday ordered a vegan birthday cake. She offered me a choice of flavours and said she will decorate it with vegan toppings.
Picked it up today and its a basic cake with absolutely no decoration on it what so ever. Not much of a birthday cake.
I just paid £8.50 for that.
So disappointed.
Oh well, I've tried the shop now, won't be going back.

I had heard about Claire’s bakery and just stumbled across it, I called in on the off chance and it was the best discovery ever. I gave her an amount of money and a vague idea of what I wanted, I picked up three huge boxes of absolutely gorgeous platters, both savoury and sweet, all the food was fabulous but the rave reviews came regarding the sausage rolls and pork pies, this is the first visit of many, you’ll not be disappointed she certainly is super skilled at what she does, she’s fab
