Stopped here by chance after my Dr's appt and bloodwork. I hardly ever do bc I've found previous cafes overpriced for regular food. But this one surprised me when I saw "filipino breakfast"
Their longsilog didn't disappoint. Was actually better than those I've tried before. The garlic rice was sooo garlicky and so good. The server also came with a bottle of vinegar and a spoon. (Ay, salamat.)
The service was great. The atmosphere was bright and quiet since most customers take their food to go. I'm glad I decided to stop in.
It'll be another reason to make sure I keep my Dr's appts.

My fiance and I went to this place yesterday for a late lunch. Our food was amazing and the lady working behind the counter was extremely friendly and welcoming.

We had the BLT bagel and beef wrap. They were really high quality and delicious, we couldn't believe the price point.

My first time coming to fresh choice cafe right after my appointment and I had a great experience very welcoming and friendly staff employees fresh coffee and bagel was fresh with cream cheese I enjoyed the breakfast item and coffee was very fresh and enjoyable. I recommend others to check out I will let my friends know to try their food and beverages and their fresh banana loaf so yummy with a tea and or coffee.

First time in this cafe today and I was very happy with the food and the service. The Cafe is very bright, clean and inviting. If you are looking for something healthy, this is the place to go!

Whatever they serve they prepare diligently with care. Staff is very courteous, smiling and friendly, one will be motivated to come back just to interact with them. Food is fresh and coffee is great. We had a Spinach Cheese sandwich which was yummy.

I just went to have food today and I ordered simply 2 eggs with ham with whipped cream on the side…. The service was okay .. it was all supposed to be $14 but the waitress took tip without my consent and added $2 more dollars without my knowledge and I knew it ..when I asked for that particular receipt she didn’t give me the receipt. I didn’t want to make big fuzz about it there but I felt so wrong and I was so disappointed…it was a young looking waitress and I didn’t catch her name. The food was good but you can’t scam people.

♥️ The food quality and taste were excellent, just as always. I had a great experience overall. However, I think the service could be improved a bit. ➡️The staff should pay more attention to customers’ needs. For example, after serving the food, they should make sure to provide water, napkins, and other essentials. I trust Eggsmart and believe they will improve the service next time.

There was only one server during lunch so the service and food were slow to come. Food was really just below par. Asked for different salad dressing but they only have two kinds that they served with the food we ordered - chipotle and ranch.

It's so warm here that customer service is amazing. All the workers are amazing and so sweet, the drinks are so good and fresh and the food is to die for, did I mention how warm the atmosphere is, I think I'd come here just for the people!

Very cute cake, packaged nicely inside the box which prevented any issues during transportation. Taste wise it’s a nice take on a tiramisu, tho if you’re a traditionalist when it comes to it you might not like the changes they made. Personally I love it, but really up to personal taste.

Bought a chestnut cake yesterday from the Richmond Hill location. Have been tasting chestnut cake from bakeries around the GTA for the last 40 years. WOW! The first bite into the cake, I was blown away by the taste. This is the best chestnut cake I have ever had.
Price - for the quality that I received, I think it's worth the money.

Just Google a cafe and we came across this cute place! I always enjoy sesame anything! Got myself a sesame latte and a sesame pudding! It was so delish!!! Can’t wait to go back to try more on the menu!

There is a wide variety of Japanese sweets, traditional pastries, sandwiches, iced drinks, and hot drinks. The seating is a little squishy but there’s a very inviting atmosphere. There were so many things we wanted to try, including the berry pastries, mousse, cheesecake, and sandwiches. The chicken teriyaki sandwich was freshly made and tasty. The iced matcha latte also had a very sweet and strong matcha taste, with a high quality matcha.

We ordered 240 macarons and several of Daan Go's Signature cakes as desserts for our university's year end residence gala and it was spectacular! All the students absolutely LOVED the desserts, and the creative and cute designs caused a lot of excitement among the guests. We tried each of the signature cake flavours (mont blanc, Vietnamese coffee tiramisu, mango, and hk milk tea) and each was delicately crafted, with its own unique flavour.

Throughout the entire catering process, the Daan Go team was very accommodating, kept good communication, and answered all of my questions. They truly turned our vision for the gala's desserts into a reality! Would absolutely cater from Daan Go again.

Located inside SHN hospital.. have a variety of bowls sandwiches paninis and soups … easy to grab something on the go ..!! Very friendly staffs ..!! Clean and neatly maintained.

From start to finish, the service from Daan Go was spectacular. We ordered a cake tasting sampler with their top flavours. From there, we reached out to start our order based on a few sketches we provided. Even though we changed our designs and quantity a few times, Mary and the team were always on top of everything. Highly recommend the strawberry favour as it tasted like real fruit was incorporated, unlike some other vendors whose cakes tasted completely artificial. We also ordered accompanying cupcakes that were vanilla flavor with strawberry flavoured icing.

On the day of, the delivery went off perfectly and everyone was impressed with how beautiful the cake and cupcakes looked. We were so impressed with everything we plan to order another cake for our anniversary!

Ordered the 3:15 Hong Kong Milk Tea 2-Tiered Cake for the second year in a row for a friends birthday.

I ordered the cake through the website and chose delivery option for the next day between 12-5pm. Around 4:30pm the day of delivery, I didn’t receive anything so I called the store to check-in. They promptly contacted the delivery company, and the cake was delivered within the hour (I believe it was delivered by worker from the store and not the delivery company - I think there was a mix up?).

It is a delicious cake, totally recommend for any milk tea lovers. However, the crumb coat did fall off quite a bit (perhaps in transit?). Still, didn’t affect the taste.

We decorated the cake with some decals to fit the theme of the birthday party, but it’s stunning on its own.

This is a good cafe for breakfast, dessert, or light lunch/dinner. There are not too many choices in the menu. But the food is in good quality.
Pay before the meal. Staff deliver the food to the table. Cannot expect much on the service. But staff are generally polite.
Restaurant deco is cozy, but the moving space between tables is not a lot.

So many delicious cakes and treats are sold here! I adored all the desserts Daan Go had to offer, during the time that we visited. We signed up for membership points and used a discount for the Christmas macaroons and a tiramisu cake. Both tasted wonderful and filling. From time to time, the store sells limited time and event treats. The bakery - although a very small area with little to no seating - is great for take out and ordering online is a breeze. Employees there are also kind and attentive to orders.

The prices are pretty up there, so it's only worth getting desserts here once in a while. But otherwise, I recommend Daan Go cake lab if you're looking for creative and cute cakes and treats for any special event or occasion!

We ordered takeout and tried their drinks like black sesame latte, matcha latte, and kinako latte, which were all really good— not too sweet or heavy. Even though some might find them bland, I enjoyed their light taste. The Japanese egg Omurice and toast were suggested and the egg was perfectly cooked with a soft texture. However, the portions were small, even for typical Japanese dishes, and felt too pricey for what you get. This place is great for those who want to try authentic Japanese light meals, but not for those seeking a big meal to satisfy hunger.

We ordered the cake online for pick up and they were getting the cake prepared and boxed right as we came. The cake was made and packed fresh and asked great. We got the mont blanc chestnut cake, and the vanilla bean cream was probably the best part. The workers were all very kind and the cake was well packaged.

Lovely little place to enjoy good cafés and good light food.

• Wasabi Mayo Roast Beef Sandwich
• Black Honey Kinako
• Hochija Latte

The Wanoka Omurice was very good. Flavourful, the egg was nicely cooked and very smooth (highly recommend)! The Wasabi Mayo Roast Beef Sandwich was good too, although not really special. The Black Honey Kinako was very good as well. Rich in flavour and yet very light. A delicate delight. The Hochija Latte was unfortunately a bit bland, I've had more flavourful ones elsewhere.

They also serve daily soups. We didn't order any, but from the looks, it seemed good too.

Overall, a very nice place to go to and comes highly recommended!

Since McDonald's has closed in this mall , Tim's has doubled its business in this location but they have not doubled the staff . On a Sunday 2: 45 stayed on line up for 15 minutes. They were still 10 people ahead of me so I left .

This location is now closed down. Too bad, because it was only one left around here that had a PERSON taking your order. Call me old & crusty but I'd rather deal with a human, than a machine.

I visited this place on 8th Jan 2024. I was in the queue and when my turn came I just wished him asking how was your day, he replied in a harsh way that I have other people to attend give me your order. Please teach your employees to first greet customers, business and money comes next. His name is Shivam( the specs guy)

I've been coming here weekdays for my morning coffee for the last 2 years. Staff have been friendly and service has been quick enough for my standards.
Sorry to hear that this location will be closing on December 31st. It will be dearly missed by me and by other long time customers to this location in this mall. Best of luck to the staff in their future work evdeavors!

First to try this place. Their menu is quite interesting. We tried the tofu cheesecake was hesitant at first but glad we tried it really taste better than the typical cheese cake. Servers are nice and friendly. Just the place though they have limited seats. Place is clean and cozy. Prices are decent.

Went to the Scarborough location and found it easily. The display of treats are beautiful, little works of art of the eyes. The few macarons I tasted were amazing. The sea behind the counter packaged the items with such care and boxes used to present the items as a gift was perfect. The bakery has a simple store front, which I like. It means they spend more time on their amazing product than the decor - a simple clean bright space. The dessert items are the stars and the sales experience was the same.

HORRIBLE experience at this location. Used my rewards point for a coffee but cashier kept insisting that my coupon was for a cappuccino until she finally double checked and realized she was wrong. Ordered a vanilla cone in a cup and she used a partially filled melting ice cream cone that was sitting on the ice cream machine. When she handed me the ice cream cone in a cup, I told her I did not want it. Requested to speak to a manager so another cashier went to get the manager and they both came out laughing - everything is about perception and if an irate customer is requesting to speak to a manager, it is not very professional to laugh and giggle in front of the customer like that.

Not a pleasant experience.....they ran out of cones but no one offered to give me a refund or an upgrade to a sundae. Ended up with just ice cream in a cup and the worse part is that the cone is the best part of the ice cream cone for me.

The worst service i ever got. I am regular customer. I ordered bagel from them and the sri-lankan lady used the same gloves which she touched the beef to make my order she was not supposed touch the beef and when i told the manager he started fighting with me in a very bad tone. Totally not professional. He started telling she can do it. He himself doesn’t see that even if u want to adjust meat on sandwich u should use tongs but she used hands. Very very bad.

They forgot my fries. And the fries don't have any salt on it.

Very nice café! The staff were extremely friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the almond croissant and matte latte once time and then a pistachio croissant and iced match latte- both equally pleasant!

Staff was very friendly and overall just had a pleasant experience! Food was made on the spot and served hot and created to look aesthetically pleasing and good! Would definitely recommend if you have a sweet tooth or just crave desert!

When I tell the staff to redeem my offer (free coffee for ‘scan and pay’, a sir with a pair glasses turned on my points to redeem and scan. My points were gone and the offer was ‘used’. When I returned and told him, a female staff told that they could do nothing for me and they were not familiar with the app so I shouldn’t let them to give instruction??? Now I lost my 500 points and I had to wait at least half-an-hour more to get my true-real-coffee! Dislike this app and the staff! Not recommend!

Service was superb, my daughter wanted a cold drink without coffee and whipped cream. So they made it! No fuss. My daughter was very happy that she got what she wanted, and they were so nice to her too. Thanks for a great experience!

We tried this place first time for my daughter's birthday brunch and LOVED it! We tried soup, rice balls, teriyaki chicken sandwich, and some dessert and the teriyaki chicken sandwich was so delicious 😋 And their dessert, apparently a Japanese baker is making it, and the tofu cheesecake was beyond our expectations! It was so silky and mouthwatering deliciousness, and the best part was that it wasn't too heavy or too sweet which is what I love 💕 The portion may be a bit small for some people but the food is delicious and the service is great so I'd definitely recommend this place and we're going back soon!

If I could give a zero I would. Worst customer service ever. They gave me 5 pieces of potatoes and rest was crumbs I asked for her to change it and she said they are all like that

I like this location. The staff are very friendly, and didn't give me an issue when I asked for fresh nuggets, unlike other locations. It's small but cozy. Will definitely come back to this location

This would be a good location for take-out, but not so much for dining in. Also keep in mind, because everything is made fresh, it takes about 25 minutes for your food.
I came here on a Saturday morning with a friend. Unfortunately, about half the items on the menu were unavailable due to low inventory of ingredients.
The pancakes were delicious! But the serving size was quite small. It was about $20 for 2 soufflé pancakes and an americano. I would come here again for dessert after a meal, or afternoon tea.

Normally this place is good but just be careful of employees having bad days. All I asked for was Honey and the Asian manager rudely looked at me and didn’t even respond or acknowledged me even saying thank you. I was met with an “mhmm”.

Yes people have bad days, but take a break and a breather, don’t bring it onto the floor and give that energy to your customers. Sad to have experienced this unprofessionalism from a location I enjoyed going to.

Crazy expensive prices, small portions

Ordered an iced café latte and a croissant. 3 people working, one left 10 minutes after ordering and only 2 employees left. Ordered at 3, took 10 minutes to get my coffee. Fine. Waited another 5 minutes before asking for my croissant. Barista rudely told me to wait. Fine. 3:30 I walked out without my croissant. Completely ridiculous. I have all the patience in the world, especially when under-staffed & busy. This was pure incompetence & just rude. Never again.

The food is great. The company did a great job at crafting their croffle recipes with popular flavours for everyone to enjoy. I definitely recommend Fuwa Fuwa as a go-to dessert spot for croffles.

However, their service was atrocious and the cleanliness of their seating inside the mall was horrific. I ordered a single Biscoff Croffle and waited 25 minutes for it to be made and delivered in a small paper tray that completely ruined the aesthetic of the dessert. I didn't even want to take a picture since the presentation looked so unappetizing. Meanwhile, the two ladies who were served before us got their food served on a wooden tray. This already soured the mood before even taking a bite.

The croffle was soft and crunchy at the same time. The toppings were light and not overwhelmingly sweet, which paired well with the softness of the dough. But unfortunately, the workers need to learn a thing or two from the recipe because they were far from sweet and I may go as far as to describe their behavior as bitter, as they gave off the impression that they were miserable, didn't enjoy their job, and that they just wanted to end their day as soon as possible.

After eating, I asked for an extra napkin and when I went to toss out the napkin in the garbage bin that they provided for their customers along the side of the store, I got told off by one of the workers. She yelled, "You can't be back there" from across the establishment and gave me the nastiest glare, when I took at most 5 seconds to wipe my face off and dispose the napkin. This just topped off the already unpleasant experience and urged me to write this review as I can't get my mind off of what happened without venting through Google Reviews.

I would recommend Fuwa Fuwa as a restaurant, but I would not recommend visiting this location specifically. The staff themselves don't even want to be there-- so why would you? Their service was rude and discriminatory, and the common areas were not kept clean-- especially the floors and table tops. It was a horrible first experience at Fuwa Fuwa, but I would definitely like to check out other restaurants where the people are trained better and aren't so miserable.

I also don't know why I tipped $1 for a $7 croffle that was delivered to me on a paper tray. This experience made me really regret tipping and have caused me to rethink about tipping in small establishments with little to no service.

Came to eat on out last day before going back home. First time I ate Pea meal.. love it. And food was prepared correctly and place was clean. As soon as we came in a lot of people started coming. A must when visiting Scarborough.

This location is very disorganized. You pay for the food and need to stand in the corner to wait for the food. This location have very large line up of people. When the food is finished. people who ordered the same item can't distinguish who the food belongs to. The employees here is no help. Everyone exept the manager is mute. Wouldn't even say hello back. Talk about disrespect.

We ordered fries and they gave us old fries, when i went back, they gave me the same old fries, the girl named GAJINEE OR GAINJEE something, she was very bad at customer service, they way she was reacting, omg, if she does not want to work, why did you even hire her at first? PATHETIC SERVICE AND FOOD!!

They have no idea how to make a iced coffee.

Way too much cream and barely any coffee. Basically drinking cold sweet cream. The drink was white in color.
There was also all of this "iced coffee" that spilled on the lid when they gave it to me, which spilled all over my hand when holding the drink. if you plan to shake it instead of stirring it..at least clean up the mess before giving it to the customer

I also noticed there was also alot of flies near at the drink fountain when i was grabbing my straw

Overall the pancake tasted good. Kind of wish they didn't stack it since the bottom pancake gets no toppings. The location is inside the mall in an open space area, so it is more noisy than the location.

Had a leisurely sunday breakfast with family. The location was surprisingly busy but we were seated promptly

From what we saw it appeared the entire location was run by only one server and she honestly was doing her best to serve all the tables and keep everyone happy. She deserves a raise and your tips!

Food portions was decent and enough to be filling. However was pretty disappointed with the super tiny condiment cup with thin SLICES of fruit and like two blueberries.

Sadly my Nashville Hot Chicken Poutine came to my table lacking green onions. When i inquired with the server, she went to ask and came back to tell me they had "run out". I mean how expensive are green onions?! Wouldn't the prep cooks have a bunch chopped up in preparation for service? It's not like everyone was ordering my dish. Furthermore why did i have to discover one of the advertised ingredients was missing and have to ask about it myself? If you run out of something shouldn't you tell the guest ahead of time or offer some sort of substitute (i would have been more than happy to get regular onions instead)?!

Asides from the above issues, the overall good quality was fine, the family enjoyed the food and the bottomless coffee was decent

Very dirty inside and outside eating area

Ordered 2 ice creams and 1 iced coffee via app before I went for pick up in store. Waited for over 1/2 hr. Order number disappeared on screen a long time ago but were not made. Ice screen were XXS & no sugar for the drink. I was told that's how they come (of course not.... Not my first time having McD stuff!)

Delicious fluffy Japanese pancakes - over a dozen different flavours to choose from. Fast service with limited seating. Great for having a quick bite with friends.

my favourite Starbucks location! I love that they are spacious, lots of place to sit and the service is just top notch! They are friendly and never once missed my order.

Excellent Soufle pancake. Very large Waffle with plenty of fresh fruit and a big scoop of ice cream. Strawberry and Yuzu Asian citrus drinks were very good.

Two drinks took 20 minutes to make and had to ask about the mobile order to get my order noticed and made. Iced cap did not taste like an iced cap. Worst experience of a Tim’s.

Ordered the traditional strawberries and whipped cream and tiramisu croffles. They taste exactly as they are named, a croissant waffle with awesome toppings. I enjoyed the traditional more than the tiramisu. They took about 10 minutes to makes but you are made aware and we sat down and took in the scenery in the mall. They are reasonably priced and I would go back to try other items on the menu.

After having Tim Hortons for lunch for an entire week, I decided to give La Prep a try. It definitely feels like a big splurge in comparison to Timmies prices but it's a franchise and I would imagine it's the same prices across the city. Food here is gourmet, and it's now my go-to place for my favourite London Fog. Will continue to visit~

Super experience. I always see the place next to the Walmart entrance/exit inside the STC complex as I come for shopping but now when I tried it, it simply blowed me away from the flavour and freshness of the items that I ordered. I went for the mango latte and tiramisu pancake. Just wow. From the presentation to the service, I enjoyed it to the last bite. I was served by Marge. She did a good professional job in preparation and service. There is seating available here too.

A Starbucks that is located next to Chapters/Indigo and features seating area open to the Chapters store. Convenient location. Fast service, staff are good. Clean and well kept. Good experience!

I haven’t been to eggsmart in a long time and this was my first time at this location and it was not anything as I remember.

Portions were so small compared to what you can get at other breakfast/brunch chains. Especially the eggs Benny - that was not good at all and for $15.99, tiny portions of home fries and a sad little container of fruits. For the standard breakfast, it was okay but the bacon was way too crispy where it literally was just breaking apart and hard to eat.

OUR service was pretty good however we saw our same waitress being very rude to a new customer about seating who walked in which also tainted our experience.

Would not come back here.

Uncanadian location- screws up your order, takes 15m for a breakfast sandwich with no lineup or reason or apologies. This location on Multiple occasions has poor customer service, needs training and management to come in.
This is appalling. There isn't one good thing about any experience I've had. I have a lactose allergy and they never listen when I say no cheese please.
When they remade it - it looked like a mess......................no effort no care no empathy

Hidden gem in Scarborough. Bangsilog ( marinated milk fish with garlic fried rice), regular Canadian sausage & egg breakfast. Coffee is good too. Excellent service.

Very friendly & quick service. The ham & brie is delicious while a great coffee machine and even better Barista make for a great cuppa.

Pretty good place to grab a drink and a bite. It is bit pricey though and seating is always limited. Service was nice and pleasant. 👍🏻

Absolutely good experience having lunch here. Foods are tasty and healthy. Crews are friendly. People come here not only for picking up a coffee or sandwich or cake but also having a short conversation with the crews like old friends.

Overpriced food because it's considered extra healthy. Salads are ok, soups are good, coffee is fresh. Staff are helpful.

I went to this cafe this Monday with terrible experiences. The cashier asked me to pay cash because credit card machine didn't work, but when I back to home, this transaction still on my credit card bill. I try to contact this cafe but no one answer my phone. Don't use any card in this cafe otherwise you could pay your bill twice.

The fresh breakfast wraps are delicious and the breakfast special is less than Timmies for a better quality product.

Awesome service if you come in early and don't have to wait in line. We ordered a venti cascara latte and a matcha frappuccino. They took out order and specification correctly and our drinks were made in record time. We ask for soy instead of milk and half sweet in our latte. The store was quite busy after we finished our drink.

If you go before 10, the portion leading to indigo is closed off.

the food is MICROWAVED!!! come on people. There is an older indian woman there who never wears gloves and handles quiches etc with her bare dirty hands.The only thing fresh there is the dam fruit cup that you cant afford.
