Thia is a great spot, more traditional than anything else in the area as it is a small business. A great selection of healthy, comforting, hearty dishes for breakfast and lunch.

New office in the area and we decided to try this place at lunch time, the place was quiet at the moment we arrived. My colleague self-served soup, I ordered a sandwich at 13.10(one of the wonders of Revolut is that you know exactly the time you order). After some minutes I saw my sandwich going to the wrong table and the waitress throwing it in the bin when the customer called off her mistake. The place started to fill up with people and sandwiches started to flow to the tables. But there was no sight of my food. I went to the counter twice enquiring abt my order and they kept looking at me as if I was a mad woman asking for the moon. At 13.30 my colleague finished the soup, and they finally announced that my sandwich was ready. Yes 20 minutes later and without a single apology, as if they were making me a favor. That whole attitude, that mismanagement of the situation, I, of course, canceled the order. Everybody is entitled to make mistakes, it is the way you try to amend them that stays with the customer. In this case they didnt even try to amend anything because they didnt even acknowledge that they'd misplaced my order. Apparently the soup was good, but the experience was too annoying to give them a second chance.

The ambiance in Sparks Bistro balances perfectly a cozy dining atmosphere and an outstanding service.

They have an open kitchen where you can see how your food is prepared; this gives an extra boost of confidence and transparency about what you’re getting.

Nevertheless, the food was amazing and the staff profesional, but very welcoming and friendly at the same time.

I’ll definitely go back there again!

So much charm + vibe! I had a yummy toastie on gluten-free bread + a flat white. Friendly + fast service. A great find esp. considering the corporate competition across the street.

Could be a lovely place, but was massive letdown. When we visited as a party of five with a baby, the girls were lovely, however, the guy at the back was so rude! Whilst he took our order, he wouldn't look at me and kept walking away and talking to someone else. When I asked “who am I giving my order to?”, he rudely said” Go on then” as if I was a burden to his morning! We then had to repeat the order in full to the girl at the till as he hadn't written anything down or passed on any information. I figured he was just rude, but it turns out he's just rude to English people, as I watched three or four Irish people order, and he was helpful and polite! So, if you are English, I would give this place a miss. Shame, as the food is nice. Maybe he should work in the kitchen as customer service isn't his forte… Well, it is if your Irish!

The food here was so delicious! We got dinner and had the carbonara and the ravioli and 10/10 would recommend!
Service is a little slow, we were seated right away but no one took our order or checked on us for 10 minutes. I had to wave down a server to get my order taken, but once they came they were attentive and kind for the rest of the dinner!

Nice little coffee house just off Capel St. Good coffee and bites. Customers are locals, legal eagles, and the odd passing tourist. Very handy if you are visiting the fascinating medieval Chapter House of St Mary's Abbey next door.

This is a lovely spot hidden away in centre city just off Capel Street. Do try the polenta with your coffee - it is really tasty. Nice and friendly and helpful staff.

We took advantage of the 2 course early bird specials. I had the caprese salad and hake. Both absolutely cooked and served to perfection. Do not miss this gem.

The ham and cheese sandwich was to die for. It was much fancier than you would expect for a ham and cheese sandwich, in a good way! The service was so kind, and I was able to eat at a table outside on a sunny day. I will definitely be back!

One of my favorite brunch spots in Dublin. They are always doing something unique with the dishes. Love their minced lamb brunch dishes the most. The coffee is great and staff is super friendly.

Had the tasiest Full Irish I've ever had in my life here. And I've had very many. Juice is freshly squeezed, coffee divine, and I could eat a whole bowl of the mushrooms on their own. It even almost looked too pretty to eat. I would definitely come back but was very sad to hear that this is their last week doing breakfast as they don't seem to get the footfall but I think that's down to lack of advertising at street level and the entrance. If I hadn't seen someone cleaning the windows I would have thought they were closed. There is another location close to here that always seems busy but the quality is not as good and it's more expensive. There seems to be a lot of air bnbs in the area and think they just need to do a better job at advertising and marketing and they'll see a huge increase for the breakfast trade. Throughly enjoyed my meal.😋

À bit of a hipster spot but good food, coffee and service nonetheless. They do nice riffs on classic lunch/brunch dishes that are tasty and well thought out. Jameson is right around the corner so very convenient

Staff was very nice (and took allergies seriously) and the food was very tasty, but I was surprised with the disparity of prices on their website vs in person. Hash browns online are 12.50 including bacon, and in person they were 13.50 plus 2.90 for bacon. Please update the website!

Great place for lunch! Friendly atmosphere, quick service, and decent prices. The Cajun chicken ciabatta is amazing and has a great kick to it. The avocado toast was also stellar. There is plenty of seating inside or out. We went at peak lunch hour and didn’t need to wait to find a table. Will definitely make this a regular spot during my work day.

Awesome spot with flavorful, bright dishes. The salmon dish has a great blend of vegetables, salmon, and bread. The Christmas bear reminds you of a holiday breakfast and is very hearty.

An excellent place for breakfast for Breakfast and brunch. The staff were very friendly and the place is fully packed. People sometimes wait in line for the food. We had the "Egg & Greens" and Buttermilk pancakes. It was delicious and we recommend the Matcha Latte too.

Small buzzy cafe, great for a weekend brunch. Really unique menu for Dublin that’s not a cut and paste of every other spot and that’s executed well. The hash brownies are legendary would definitely recommend them, scrambled eggs - perfect. Excellent coffee. My usual gripe applies of not being able to book a table, so if you go at the weekend expect a 20+ minute wait with a coffee in hand (acceptable for the quality of the food).

This place is fantastic. The food is tasty and always comes out freshly-cooked/hot. The staff members are really friendly. There are books to read or you can exchange them with one you have yourself. There’s an area where you’re encouraged to speak with strangers too! I’m not from Dublin so don’t go very often but I’ll definitely be going back there every time I’m there.

Charming Cafe with Room for Improvement

My visit to sample the highly recommended pancakes was met with anticipation, perhaps too high of one. While the pancakes were delicious, they didn't quite achieve the level of brilliance I had hoped for. The berry sauce topping, while flavorful, erred on the sweeter side. I must say, though, the cream was exquisite, but I wished there had been a tad more of it.

As a devoted connoisseur of pancakes and French toast, I hold every dining experience to high standards, and these expectations can be demanding.

On a positive note, the coffee here was rich and satisfying. The service from the staff was a shining star; they were unfailingly courteous and attentive, even when the place was bustling with people.

One small downside is the cafe's size. They do offer outdoor seating with umbrellas, but Dublin's unpredictable weather means it's often off-limits due to rain and wind.

This cafe is a cozy spot with potential for even more greatness. The pancakes are good, and a slight tweak to the berry sauce's sweetness, bigger size and a tad more cream would make them superb. Paired with great coffee and exceptional service, it's a place worth returning to, with hopes of witnessing it achieve its full potential.

One of the best sandwich shop Dublin for sure, we ordered Ham and chese and Reuben. The bread was really fresh as well as the meat for the sandwich, definitely worth a try for anyone who loves sandwich.

Lovely small Cafe in downtown Dublin. Great friendly service, by the owners I believe. We enjoyed strong and tasty coffees - a way to get a Saturday started. Good selection of pastries as well. Pretty big place with big enough tables as well.

We decided to check out this eatery after seeing some sandwiches being served at a table outside caught our attention. All quite pleasant; the restaurant operates on a sort of self-service basis for ordering, cutlery, and water, but waitstaff takes care of the rest. Both of the dishes we ordered with orange juice were tasty, and the pricing was fair as well.

We loved it! During our stay in Dublin, we had breakfast twice at the Third Space and everything we tried was delicious! We loved trying out some typical Irish breakfast and they have a vegetarian and vegan option, which is amazing, because we struggled to find some delicious and affordable vegetarian food in Dublin. Nun zum eigentlichen Höhepunkt des Besuchs: dem Frühstück. Ich habe selten ein so gutes Frühstück zu einem so fairen Preis gegessen. Das Angebot war vielfältig und es gab viele Optionen für Vegetarier und Veganer. Die Portionen waren großzügig und die Qualität der Zutaten war bemerkenswert.
Aber auch Lunch-karte kann sich sehen lassen. Es gibt viele leckere Gerichte, die alle aus frischen und hochwertigen Zutaten zubereitet werden. Die Getränkeauswahl ist ebenfalls großartig, mit vielen verschiedenen Kaffeespezialitäten und frisch gepressten Säften.

Ich habe ein paar Frühstück Restaurants in Dublin ausprobiert und das Third Space in Smithfield war auf jeden Fall das beste. Hier gibt es auch eine Area, bei der man sich mit Leuten am Nachbartisch unterhalten kann.

Insgesamt kann ich das Third Space Smithfield jedem empfehlen, der in Dublin ein leckeres Frühstück sucht. Die Qualität der Speisen und der Service sind ausgezeichnet und machen den Besuch zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis.

So good I came back twice in four days just to try their ham sandwich, which was sold out on my initial visit. I was not disappointed is an understatement. Great playlist on our eat in day, lovely bench outside on the second visit. Fabulous locally roasted coffee, an amiable staff, and a slew of yummy local products to take along home, including bean to bar chocolate and sauces. The Reuben was divine and the ham sandwich was ridiculously scrumptious. I will be back in February and dreaming about my next sarmie until then.
