Went with some family and had a wonderful experience. The waitstaff was very patient and kind. The food was delicious and came rather quickly. I had the bolognese which was delicious and was the perfect portion. There was live music at the bar that made the experience even better. Would 100% recommend as nice night with family or friends.
Life took me away from LIC, and yesterday I made it back, and now I can’t imagine letting it go so long ever again! I had family visiting from out of town, so of course I had to bring them to the best place, and I was not disappointed. The food is ridiculously good. We started with the Beets with Goat Cheese and Burrata with Focaccia…YUM!! For dinner I chose the Ricotta Gnocchi, it was beyond delicious! I can go on and on. I will be returning soon!
I am grateful for this place as we planned a graduation celebrations 🍾 and we divinely found this place that was beyond belief and culinary experience.we were transported to a place of delicious foods and delightful home style rutica kitchen. Thank you Manducatis Rustica.
I absolutely love this place! If you want to just come in for some gelato, or have a fine dining experience, this is the place to come to in Long Island City! I have had the pleasure of enjoying both experiences and I will have to give this spot a solid A. Staff is great, food feels homey with a pretty presentation, and I personally love the decor. I've already made my rounds here before, but it is a place I'd happily go back to any time.

Tip: I'd recommend having a date night here!

-atmosphere: doesnt feel like a restaurant but more like a store that sells food. From the entrance to the walls to the bathroom, everything you see is for sale. Bathroom dryer is built so it turns on when you wash your hands lol you have to constantly hear it while you wash your hands yet there is no hand towel/paper option. Seats could have cushions but nope.

- food is mid. I had the seaseme miso. It was so oily and only tasted like seaseme. My friend got the chicken ramen and the broth between the two dishes were identical. So I can assume the seaseme is used to mask the same broth taste. Thus, you get seaseme soup for 21bucks lol Seaseme gets stuck between teeth. Awkward date idea Egg for $1 is literally a hard boiled egg btw 😂

- service: tip option is 20% 22% or 24% LMFAOOO my waiter stood next to me and watched me put in my custom tip option in.

A local restaurant that makes you feel taken care of - the food is delicious and comforting, and the staff is very attentive and friendly.

It's also a perfect place to hold an event. We had our baby shower in the backyard patio in the Spring. Even though it was a bit chillier than we wanted, the food, atmosphere and the care and attention from the staff made it a hit. Gianna was such a pleasure to work with - she's done a ton of these events so everything just felt easy. Our family and friends left the event so full and happy.

Cant missed out DST crudo and burrata cheese with ume jam. Such satisfaction chewing down a big tasty cut of tuna instead of a thin carpaccio slice normally served by restaurant. The burrata cheese and ume jam was smooth and creamy. And never had edamame served like Takumen with shiso pesto, salt and kombu, got me licking my fingers.

Ramen broth for both Ban ban chicken and Super cilantro was flavourful. Only wished I have the option to choose between pork belly slice instead just chicken meat for my ramen.
Asked for a green tea. Expected small size as standard. Was given a large $6.53. This issue was not offered to be corrected.

The French toast evokes nostalgic homemade mornings. While some find it pricey and plain, adding a dollop of vanilla-infused whipped cream could elevate the experience. The crispy satisfaction of the croissant panini is undeniable. The inviting ambiance caters to both regulars and newcomers.

First visit. Warm interior, simple and pleasant. The charming waiter was great at upselling us so we had a pricey meal. Staff is friendly and kind. We tried 2 sakes and ordered a 300ml (small) bottle of one for $35. The edamame were marinated with shiso, tasty. The burrata is something you wouldn’t expect to find in a Japanese restaurant but with the ume jam it worked and was yummy. We added the DST tuna ($24!) as an appetizer and it was tasty, just wish it was cut into bite size pieces before serving. My ban ban chicken ramen was very flavorful and perfectly cooked. The cilantro ramen was also very tasty. Overall a successful dinner. I would just say that the prices are on the high side for what you’d expect in LIC. There’s also a small shop out front with a selection of cool things.

The atmosphere is great, however the food is mediocre. I came for the cilantro ramen but found it to be too bland. The spicy miso ramen is a bit better. The sides are so expensive for their serving size. For reference, the avocado salad and potato salad are $7.5 each and a tiny dish of cilantro is $3.5, which I find rather unreasonable.

Nice and quiet atmosphere where you can have a conversation without needing to raise your voice over the ambient noise. I arrived at 12pm and was seated right away. Ordered the Ban Ban Chicken Ramen with a soba tea (soba or ice green tea is available for $1 when you order a rice or ramen). Food arrived in less than 10 minutes. $20 for a bowl of ramen is quite pricey considering that this is a Japanese-American fusion spot. But, it’s tasty for a quick fix lunch if you’re in the area. Not much selection for lunch specials if you’re looking for more bang for your buck.

Great neighbourhood spot. Delicious ramen. Incredibly delicious (and surprising) appetisers. Wanna come back often.
The person at the counter has terrible customer service skills. Firstly, no greeting, my advice to the owner you need to do more to hire competent/friendly staff.

Issue description: Ordered 2 slices of banana walnut cake priced at $3.75 each (see image - attached evidence), the unfriendly employee rings me up for $4.00 each. When I point out the obvious price discrepancy (as a matter of principle) he says he can't do anything and then proceeds to try and argue his way out. I mentioned instead of arguing with a customer find a way to correct the issue. I got some incoherent response. So I ask for the manager and guess what? No surprise, the manager was not helpful either.

I'm definitely not going to recommend this location to anyone.

The food here is great but this doesn’t make sense $8.50 for “French toast” on regular sliced bread when it should be thick cut/challah bread

First photo is what it should be and second is what I got.

Excellent service. Attention to detail in all of the dishes is next level. Ordered the Hawaiian poke bowl, which I really enjoyed. Great to eat at an establishment where every staff member really seems to care about your dining experience.
It's the best pork chop 😋 I've ever had absolutely delicious. Old world Italian atmosphere elegant ✨️ overall fantastic.
My sister had the pasta with shrimp 🍤 incredible delicious 😋
The coffee was delicious and I loved the atmosphere of the shop. It's definitely busy and seating is limited.

I love this place and the woman and man who work there. Super friendly. Whether you order a burger, quesadillas or a panini, it's always just perfectly warm (the way I like my food) and tasty.
food and drinks are tasty but i would give 0/5 stars for the service if possible. i’ve been here many times since moving around the corner and the staff is always extremely unfriendly and the phone is never answered despite my attempt to call the store multiple times on different days at different times. i always arrive at the shop to discover that the store phone is working just fine, and the girl at the front on her phone. really hope management will do something about their staff :/
Always the best meal, never disappoints - eggplant rollatini, pizza, pasta bolognese, chicken and vinegar peppers, fresh gelato, the list goes on. We’ve had both dinner and private events at Manducatis Rustica, guests loved every minute. The staff makes you feel at home and the owner is amazing. Worth the 45 minute drive for us!
Busy store and excellent voodoo child drink. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable.

My first ever prosciutto was to die for. Perfect crispy bread, melty mozza cheese.

Staff are nice here and the food and coffee are great as well.

I come here every time I have training in the area. Easy to invite friends because it's not expensive at all. Usually 10ish minutes wait.

A family friendly restaurant that’s fun for the kids and cozy for adults. We liked the drinks and appetizers - hojicha latte and chicken wings in particular were highlights. Ramen a bit bland for adult palette but was good for my toddler. Some at our table found the food to be under seasoned.. but I prefer less salty food so that was great for me. In general, the restaurant is perfect for drinks and small bites. Unfortunately, the ramen kind of misses the mark, but I’d definitely go back for other food.

Amazing find. Sincere and great service. Delicious homemade food. Enjoyed the panini, wrap and great hot tea. Loved the decor and music. Such a vibe. Loved visiting this place from Canada. Everyone that stopped in seemed to know the owners and were well taken care of!
This beautiful small cozy coffee in a high foot traffic spot area is definitely the place to be if you’re seeking a quick bite to eat and Coffee to start your morning. After exiting the 7 train, I immediately opened Yelp searching for a local coffee shop in Long Island City. Now I’m never in Long Island City nor do I come around. But this time I wanted to make it worth it. I came across Sweet Leaf and they definitely blew me away. The quality the various options of fresh baked goods and coffee beverages. I knew for a fact I started my morning just right after visiting. The bathroom were clean, the dining area was clean. My experience overall with my meal…. Perfect! The staff was great. Do you want coffee? We’ll look no further!
What more can I say?

Went in for a toasted bagel with cream cheese, simple enough right. Well I had the pleasure of witnessing two giant flies mating on the cream cheese that they were about to scoop into the bagel. I literally left my stuff there and walked out from the absolute disgust.
Great selection of sandwiches and hot food. Haven't been disappointed yet

Food is ok; don't expect much., Price is too expensive for what you get. The customer service needs to be better. Very rush behavior. I suggest try other options.

Food is decent, prices are a little too expensive for what you get. The customer service could be better, especially the guys taking your order will give you attitude. Better places in the neighborhood but if you really want to give them a shot go ahead.

It’s sad that I have to leave a bad review, but this one particular lady is so rude, and challenging. 1 the food is not even all that good, secondly the presentation of the food is terrible, Third the price is so high and the quality does not match up to it. Please read the reviews and work on it, cuz if it wasn’t for the customers, the store would be closed down

Loved the coffee here. Plenty of choices for drinks available. Great ambience and atmosphere. The staff was great and helpful. The murals, photography, music playing in background and art were amazing. I loved my experience here and definitely recommend this place.
Sweetleaf Coffee is one of my favorites in NYC but it was my first time visiting their location here in LIC. It’s definitely a perfect addition to the neighborhood.

We had their 2 packs of coffee bean with 25% discount and a slice of handmade loaf. It was little disappointing that no free coffee with the purchase of coffee bean.

The interior decor is elegant and cozy but indoor dining was not available. The capacity was also limited during the pandemic since it is narrow-spaced.

Use to buy here till the manager started to act like a cheapskate. Every time I order a bacon egg and cheese and opened it, I realize they only put one strip of bacon on each side of the hero. Sometimes the bacon was shredded just to make it seem like there’s more. I called the place and asked to speak to the manager and he gave me this excuses about how long the bacon is and that it’s an 8 inch strip. Seriously? This is how you want to keep people coming back here? I rather buy off the food truck in next to my building and save me those 2 dollars since they charge me 3.50 for that. Place use to be good now they count everything down. Even when you ask for extra ketchup at the counter they give you two, no more. The girl last time didn’t seem so pleased when I asked her if she could please give me another two.
