This past weekend, Little Oak Cafe catered a family gathering at From the Woods Farm in Canton. Dave and Jeff were wonderful and helpful in planning the menu. The food was amazing! Everything tasted great and was delivered on time and set up perfectly. Thank you both for all your help ! Highly recommend to anyone seeking a caterer or good meal!

Lots of free parking. Indoor/outdoor dining and take-out are offered. We ordered an omelet, waffle, scrambled eggs, and coffee. Everything came out warm and tasty. Good stop for breakfast, especially with a 9 year that wanted a waffle.

Hands down one of the best paninis I’ve ever had! Well balanced and lots of flavor. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed. My husband and I were there between lunch and dinner, so it wasn’t busy, but several people came and went for take-out as we ate. The staff were polite and attentive. A+ guys and gals! Keep up the great work :)

First timer! So good. A nice hidden gem. So much attention to detail that the condiment bottles are absolutely clean. Great morning music playing as well. Family friendly. Great breakfast spot.

I ordered chicken soup and the Fuji apple salad. My soup was sitting in the window by the time I walked over. 6 order names later I get called for my order. The soup was cool by the time the rest of my order was ready and the chicken on the salad was disgusting. I threw salad out, ate about 1/2 of soup and left. Panera has gone down in my opinion and I have it one last shot. I will not be returning again

A standard Panera Bread located in The Shops of Farmington. The first time I went in, I just ordered a hot coffee which was average. They give you a cup and you fill it up at the coffee station. The place was clean and the cashier was friendly and efficient.

The second time, I ordered another hot coffee and a half chipotle chicken sandwich and broccoli and cheddar soup. I originally wanted the breakfast sandwich version with eggs on it, but it was 11 ish and they didn't have any eggs. The cashier asked their coworker, which I assumed was the manager if they had anymore eggs; he responded with a snarky "NO", I thought that was odd. We didn't know what exactly time breakfast ended, no snarkiness needed.

The sandwich seemed a little skimpy but the flavor was good. The broccoli and cheddar soup was good; this also came with an apple or chips. Overall, it's average and a typical Panera Bread, nothing to write home about.

The service here is always good and the food is always fresh and hot! The people are very friendly. The music in the bathroom is incredibly loud so if you want to get your jam on in the bathroom it's a great place to hang out... however, my 87-year-old mother doesn't enjoy it too much and neither did several people walking out of the bathroom today as I left that were complaining about it.
Cappuccino was just coffee with cream. The turkey, avocado and bacon was terrible. It was made on the end piece of bread
Mostly tomato and greens. Bread was wet from all the mayonnaise.
This is the second time I've had such an awful experience and it will be the last.
The only good thing was the scone.

Toddler area age limit needs to be enforced. I visited recently with my daughter and grandchildren, ages 1 and 2. Three older kids who were obviously siblings had taken over the area and actively tried to scare and intimidate my grandchildren, not allowing them access to part of the area. My daughter eventually had to approach the staff and request the older kids be asked to leave the toddler area. Yes the parents need to be paying attention but this area is right next to the service counter and should be monitored more closely.
Little Oak Cafe for lunch was great. Friendly endl, simple service and a unique atmosphere inside. Large, free parking lot outside. DB Panini 8s a good size and great tasting turkey/bacon sandwich with a spicy relish. Chicken Caprese Panini has grilled chicken and pesto for a great flavor combination. Great choice of different drinks in cooler also. Would go back again if in the area.

I can not say enough about Little Oak Cafe!! They catered our wedding at Flamig Farm and I wish I could give them a hundred stars. David was absolutely INCREDIBLE to work with, I called a bunch of different food vendors and he hands down was clearly the person we wanted when I first spoke with him. He listened, was super calm, easy and just like an awesome all around person. All the staff who helped cater the wedding were the nicest people ever, we got so many compliments on the food and how amazing it was (I wish I had more food specific pictures but I shared some of the wedding too so you can get a vibe it was 160 people). One of our guests runs a restaurant in Nantucket and literally said the carrot wedding cake Little Oak made was the best cake he'd ever had in his life! It rained pretty hard at our wedding and I can't say enough about how blown away I was by the service, I felt like every time I looked up someone would be there asking what I needed, and everyone adjusted as needed with the rain. Also worth noting that we were coming from out of town (Seattle) and when we came in to meet everyone week of the wedding David literally gave us some pre made meals cause he said he knew our week would be pretty hectic - the absolute nicest people ever. THANK YOU so much David and team for making our wedding perfect. We cannot recommend you enough!

Super cute place for the kiddos. Love that they have a toddler section but also enough stuff for them to be satisfied as well. The coffee was great too, thanks baristas. 🫶
My only complaint was the cushioned chairs in the lobby area needed to be deeply cleaned or replaced. It's a place for kids, but those looked super gross and I can't imagine what the leather ones would look like if they were fabric instead.

Jungle Java in Canton Michigan is an absolute game changer.

1) Without fail, the staff are incredibly friendly and the facilities remarkably clean. The staff can be seen disinfecting all surfaces at what seems like 15 minute intervals.

2) The jungle gym itself has safety netting, is well padded, and maze-like in some places. I have been dragged through the structure enough times to feel at ease with my kid's rampant activities, even when briefly out of sight. General food court type seating faces the play structure, so you can work or relax a bit while keeping an eye on your little ones.

3) Coffee and snacks. Jungle JAVA has the life source of parents on tap here. Although not particularly bespoke, the drip and espresso coffee can really help keep you afloat. They offer a variety of flavored and frozen coffees, but I generally stick to black coffee and/or espresso.
A diverse snack selection includes items like hummus, apple sauce, yogurt, freshly baked muffins, cookies, and other hot foods like chicken tenders, ballpark type pretzels, and nachos. Also offered are an assortment of juices and caffeine free sports drinks.

4) Birthday parties! We have attended a few birthday parties at Jungle Java in Canton and they are always a hit with the kids.

Details:
✓ Jungle Java in Canton is open from 10am-6pm Sunday-Sunday.
✓ Entry fee is $12 for the day, drinks and snacks charged à la carte
✓ Socks are required to use the play structure, numbered cubbies with containers for shoes and coat racks are provided
✓ "Toddler Safari" play area is available for smaller children

Nice spot to have anything from coffee to breakfast or lunch. Plenty of seating, a gas fireplace for colder evenings in the main dining area and a pleasant interior that makes the eating-in experience enjoyable.

A kiosk with a few touch screens for patrons to punch in their orders was a bit user unfriendly to us, with so many pages and choices for add-ons or things that come with your meal. We found spending over five minutes to place two orders a bit cumbersome. Maybe we prefer actual wait staff that just asks us what we want off the menu. Or, maybe you can order at their counter and skip the kiosk, but we did not see anyone there except for the person who puts out your tray once your food has been prepared and your purchase has been sent to the kitchen. Choosing a simple drink or muffin must speed up the time with the touch screen.

That said, both of our sandwiches were very good. My partner's was hot. He had the smoky buffalo chicken melt baguette which he added spinach, frizzled onions and chipotle sauce in addition to the hot sauce that's a component of this sandwich. He wanted red onion, too, but the computer said they were out of this ingredient.

My lobster salad on a New England style bun was cold. I did not expect it to be as these rolls are usually served warm. I selected it as is with no additions. Full of fresh lobster and some lettuce, cooked perfectly, it is an impressive sandwich.

We chose the fruit cup for our free add-on to the meal. It was fresh with a good variety of fruit: pineapple, strawberries, blueberries and cantaloupe. The Madagascar vanilla latte we shared was really delicious. Creamy, warm and the right amount of sweetness. No need for dessert with this coffee but Panera's has always had a fine selection from chocolate croissants to lemon drop cookies along with muffins and scones.

Great indoor play place for toddlers and young kids. It does get noisy but the kids don't seem to mind. Food and drink selection is surprisingly good.

I have been holding onto hope for Panera for a long time. We have been going since I was in middle school so I wanted to continue to keep the good memories. However, these past few trips have been so disappointing and this last one was unfortunately the end of the rope for us. This last trip we placed a pick up order. Two "You Pick 2s" and a small mac n cheese. We placed the order online and were surprised at the limitation of ways to modify for You Pick 2s, when you can for other items. I made a few notes in the "other instructions" section before checking out. I went to pick it up and did a quick glance inside (something you shouldn't have to do). I noticed that they had not read the notes and we were missing one bag of chips and chipotle sauce. Not a huge deal, I asked for them and they gave it to me. Drove home to my husband and toddler, hungry and waiting for dinner. We unpacked the bag and found the mac n cheese, my toddler's dinner, missing. I was pretty upset since she had been waiting and so I called the cafe. I asked if someone could deliver it since I am 8 months pregnant and didn't want to have to drive back out again. They don't have delivery. I had to then ask for a refund, which I have NO idea if they actually gave me since my only two options were for a gift card or for it to go back onto my account- not CC?? I got off the phone and when we went to eat our sandwiches, we noticed there was barely any food inside the bread. Mine was tasteless. I also noticed that no one had "signed off" on the items, why even have that there if you aren't going to do it? It was the final straw for us and we will not be going to back to Panera. Unfortunately, it's not just this location- although I have had issues many times here- aka a very rude server.

My 4 year-old loves coming here! The birthday party package is reasonable and I like that there is comfortable seating for parents. The coffee tastes good, too (bonus!)

My Grandson Birthday was given at Jungle Java. The establishment was a nice little place for children to let loose, while Mom and Dad drank iced or hot coffee. The birthday area was a nice little spot for everyone to sit and talk not far from kids play areas. The children had two slices of pizza( Hungry Howies) and a cup of juice. They children enjoyed themselves. They have a toddler area also.
They did run into difficulties with the credit card reader glad I had cash on me.
Some people wore mask majority not so much.
The best part is my grandson and his friends enjoyed themselves

We finally had the chance to stop in and experience Little Oak Cafe and were not disappointed! Located in the back of Canton Village, Little Oak Cafe is literally a hidden gem with dynamite food and service. We stopped in for lunch and decided on Roast Beef and Ham and Cheddar paninis, both of which were excellent. Portions are pretty large and the prices are great! We came in hungry and both of us were actually full after eating half of our sandwiches, but we just HAD to finish them. However, we could've easily had leftovers, had we chosen to. We each opted for a side of macaroni salad, and that too, was delicious. Service was awesome and we were asked more than a few times how we were doing and if we needed anything, which was very nice.

Little Oak Cafe has a spacious dining area and tables are spaced out for social distancing purposes. They also have extensive takeout offerings, which we will have to check out the next time we're in. We will definitely return again!

Super friendly staff but wow when did Panera get so expensive? Ordered a half roasted turkey blt, a cup of chicken noodle soup, and an iced strawberry lemonade. $18. Unreal. The picture is the food we got (no drink cause is wasn't made yet). Only reason I'm giving it a 4 is the staff was unbelievable friendly.
