I am a writer and editor and I came here to work. I was working on a book on my tablet when the manager came up to me and told me that using tablets and computers was forbidden. It's a very good practice - if they were consistent. I don't think they didn't see that most of the people sitting in the café were busy on their smartphones, which is why I'm here writing this comment on my phone. It's a nice idea to encourage people to read books, but you can't do it with bans.

On 2 August 2024, I am adding to my comment on the response from the business: I understand from your response that the main issue is not to keep people away from the screen or to encourage them to read books, but to prevent them from sitting for hours while working on the computer and ordering less. I remind you that it is possible to read a book or work on a "smartphone" for hours by ordering 1 cup of coffee. Rather than trying to prevent people, you could make your point clearly, so that people like me come to your café knowing what to do. When I said I was looking for a quiet place to work in Seville, many people recommended your café. It seems you have created a false image. Maybe you could think about it a little more.

very unfriendly place!! :(

unfortunately our experience here was horrible. we arrived at opening time to be told by the lady it will not open for another 30 minutes (understandable).

we went back a few hours later to have a coffee and asked if we can use laptops - the lady was very rude and ‘no’ aggressively 3 times and laughed in our face.

we were excited to try this place but definitely a 1* experience for customer service, we didn’t even get a chance to try the coffee!

(not to be a Karen but this is to warn any people wanting to use laptops in the future here)

One of my faivorite cafe in seville. Good coffee, cool vibe, kind staff!
Great spot to work from. It’s laptop friendly and the WiFi is good. Only a small number of tables but if the weather is nice you can sit outside also.

Came for the coffee, stayed for courtyard. You can read, people watch, or just relax and hang with friends. With that said, there’s better coffee out there. I learned the word cafe torrefacto, which is basically processed coffee and not the best quality nor healthy for your body. I think they use that here. You can tell from the burnt taste and it’s not as silky. Neat place though! I’ll be back
This is a real find. Nothing fancy in terms of decor but a great vibe, friendly staff and great food and drinks so don't let your immediate visual impression prevent you from trying it. Definitely a place to relax and enjoy your food and drinks rather than a place where people go to use the free wifi.

This restaurant is lovely and it is a huge bonus that it has an extensive gluten free menu. This is the best place for gluten free Italian food in Sevilla. Great food, amazing service - 10/10

Very tasty gluten and non-gluten food! There was a big range of options for celiacs as well as non-celiacs. Also, celiacs get a special placemat to specify that are celiacs. The service was good and food came quickly. Good prices and interior. I recommend booking in advance.

Cozy little place, they have wifi too, and speak english. You can get a coffee with muffin for less than 5€. Although the choc chip cookie is way too sweet, the croissant is very airy and tastes just like the original, the muffin could use a little egg replacer to make it more fluffy and airy, the coffee is giving as well. The kombucha (in beer bottle) is very tasty, not strong at all.

This is a great option for gluten free! I had the pizza and it was so yummy, also they have a dedicated gluten free menu with many options . The waiter was very nice and they take special care to make sure you get no gluten.
My husband had the regular pizza and said it was also good ! Good selection of wine and mixed drinks also! Would go again for sure !

It’s nice that they seem to care about gluten free. Tho I still woke with a gluten reaction the next day.
The staff were friendly
The food was delicious
The price was a bit much. €2 per piece of ravioli seems expensive to me. I had to order 2 plates to have a meal. Each one had only 6 pieces and covered 1/2 the plate. I saw other pasta dishes that were bigger so maybe it’s just the ravioli
The GF bread that they put on the table is horrible. Not worth eating.
Over all I would consider coming back but it couldn’t be a regular place

Our waiter was very friendly and funny.
The breakfast menu is also delicious and not too overpriced.
The toasts are crispy and topped enough to satisfy the small hunger in the morning.
We had a nice seat outside with a nice view of the large square. Unfortunately we discovered this place too late, otherwise we would have come daily.

We came here because of the good reviews and were disappointed...
Coffee was just ok and the cakes looked better than they tasted. Not to say they were bad, we just expected more...

The best thing was the service - super friendly and always with a smile. So thanks for that 🙂🙏

The whole dining experience was great!
We were really lucky to get the last table available. The drinks and food were delicious. The servers were really nice.

Book in advance as it was really busy during the evening.
Wonderful little cafe with a chilled vibe and lovely, friendly staff. Good place to stop and rest for a coffee and cake or toast. Comfy chairs inside surrounded by books with ramp access. Lots of tables outside in the patio with plenty of trees for shaded spots. Keep up the good work and welcoming atmosphere.

I had breakfast here this morning. The place is super cozy, the food is amazing. Me and my friend tried a scone with jam and butter, a cinnamon roll and a carrot cupcake and it was all great! The cappuccino was very good as well. The prices are good (5 euros for a cappuccino and a scone) and the staff is very nice.
I had a great experience, I would totally recommend it.
The only thing is that it's a bit hidden and it was hard to find at first, but it was worth it.
Great coffe, stunning pastries and lovely staff. We had the cinnamon roll and the nutella knot and they where both to die for. They warm them u for you so they are like a warm hug. They also have vegan and vegetarian options and Oatly oat milk on the menu.

Loved it! Gluten free heaven, amazing overall.
Pork cheek ravioli is a must try! We loved it so much we came back the next day for more.
Lasagne was ok, nothing special, same with desserts, but very good pizza.
We loved the place, it has nice atmosphere and the best staff ever, everyone was nice and engaged, and seemed to love their job.
Not every dish was truly 5/5 but I'm biased since the elements that were great deserved a gold medal :)

Ofelia bakery is located in the centre of Seville just five minutes walk from the cathedral. It's a small bakery and bar where I had good breakfast. There are vegan options and also the espresso I had was quite good. It's a little bit pricey but products seem to be good. Worth a visit if you are nearby....

We had breakfast tostadas here, and they were so delicious! Great bread, great olive oil, very fresh ingredients. Prices were higher than at other places because I don't think the tostada prices included drinks. Anyway, worth the price!
