A shame it was our last day in Venice when we found. Or maybe a good thing in terms of money! We bought a sandwich to go, it smelt and tasted so good we went straight back in and bought another. Go, eat a sandwich here, be happy! Such a cool place!

We stopped here for a quick glass of wine and small bite in the late afternoon. It was a great place to relax and just enjoy the free time.
The wine was great, and the plate of assorted meats and cheeses was very tasty. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations.

We absolutely loved La Bottiglia! We stopped by for a couple of glasses of wine during the afternoon. They have a wonderful selection at an affordable price. They have inside seating and outdoor seating in the square. The bar cat Sylvester is cute but prefers to not interact with humans :)
Good vibes on a Sunday afternoon, with everyone having a great time out. It's a rather small joint however, and it can get crowded. The patrons often grab seats from other tables that aren't occupied, so you'd have to be prepared to wait for a seat.
Quality food, a little pricey but so is everything in Venice or touristy places.

In a city with so many options for small cafes with drinks and small bites, this place really stood out. Workers were friendly and nice, especially since we don’t speak any Italian. We ordered one wine and he said he didn’t think it was at the right temp and recommended another that we really liked. I imagine a lot of places would have just served us warm wine and not cared but we really appreciated this. The mixed board was also really good. Highly recommend.

A lovely place offering a variety of cicchetti, perfect for a quick lunch or dinner. The staff were friendly and seated us on the terrace without any previous reservation. We tried several cicchetti (mostly fish), which were fresh and delicious. The Aperol spritz was also excellent. Although the place tends to get a bit crowded, you can still enjoy your drink or meal in a relaxed atmosphere.
Amazing coffee shop, our favourite in Venice. The grandmother’s homemade carrot cake is delicious! Friendly staff and good prices.

Long ago visited by Anthony Bourdain (sense a pattern in my reviews yet yet?), we had to try Cantina do Mori. Our picks were absolutely lovely, and I enjoyed them even more without the bread. It’s such a quaint place, a bit “out of sight” if you aren’t looking for it, but worth a visit.
Great coffee shop with great hospitality. They were very cheerful and made us feel like home. I recommend for all Turkish people. Last but not least, prices are fair and food and coffee are delicious!
The Cechetti’s here are delicious, and some of the cheapest in the area! Highly recommend!

We went because of all the other reviews on Happy Cow about their vegan sandwich … THEY WERE RIGHT! The vegan sandwich is like heaven on a board.
We went just before the lunch rush (11:30) and had some very well priced Aperol Spritz on the side seating area. Very cute atmosphere and the sandwiches were so good we got another to go when we were exploring the city later.
Staff were also flexible to change some of the toppings. Would highly recommend making this a stop while you’re in the city

The place is small, quant and humble. If I owned this place I would put a board out advertising “oldest wine bar in Venice”. But they don’t. They serve their delicious bites of food and reasonably priced and well selected wine in this absolutely charming place. Be warned though large bunches of food tours will visit, sample and move through while you’re there.
I made a dinner reservation a couple of weeks in advance of our trip to Venice. We had a lovely table out back looking over the grand canal. The food was elegant, well presented and delicious - the quality of ingredients really shone through. It was by far our favourite meal on our trip.
Whilst this place is a popular spot for cicchetti and social drinks, I highly recommend making a dinner reservation for a more cultured experience. We look forward to dining here again when we return to Venice.

But other cechetti taste smelly and stink. They are not fresh at all...I came in the afternoon around 5pm. Most of the counters are nearly empty.

Truly authentic spot that isn't quite on the tourists radar. Killer cicchetti and lovely list of wines. Beautiful interior, definitely worth a stop!
Overall a perfectly lovely place. It has outside seating, and inside, and I stumbled into it around the corner from All’Arco. Really LLVED their meat dishes. I was less enamoured of their seafood crostinis. The Baccallo/cod I found inedible, and their anchovies were WAY too salty (I have never met an anchovy I have not immediately loved). The service was fantastic, and patient with non Italian speaker (me!)

Stumbled accross this place. Not too busy or touristy. Drinks were amazing and Christina the owner was amazing- explained how everything was made and why they were nicer. Cocktails were great and speacial wines too. Would definitely reccomend.
We booked a table two days in advance and glad we did as it was quite busy outside of the restaurant with people waiting. The service was impeccable even though we could only speak English. The food was mouth-wateringly delicious with many different combinations that you wouldn't normally find at other establishments. I would highly recommend a visit should you find yourself in Venice and wanting a high-class meal.

Best negroni in the best price and quantity! Has tables in a nice square, tasty chiccetis and local cheese! Too pitty we haven’t make a reservation for our last night in Venice. Thank you
it’s a small shop beside canal with only few tables inside. Very popular and so crowded. All of the tasty cicchetti only costs 2euros ( I find the cheapest one in Venice till now). The sardines only costs 1.50euro. Aperol spritz 3.50euro, unbeatable price. Fresh ingredients and yummy. Definitely return to try more different cicchetti.
The two things which impressed us about this place were the prices and the view/atmosphere. With a variety of flavorful local ciccheti, eating these small morsels of goodness with the locals while enjoying the view of an old boatyard conjured a traditional Venetian feeling. Some of the ciccheti though had some tough rubbery bread; and watch out for the seagulls that are lurking waiting for the opportune moment to steal your food.
Affordable and delicious cechetti! I tried cream with pumpkin, and my two-way tie for favorite were the mozzarella with prosciutto and the pesto with mozzarella and tomato. The bread was great and the flavor combinations were perfection. €2 each

I visited here 8 years ago and still talk about it. The pasta al andri was phenomenal!
Fantastic place to stop for some Spritz and cicchetti, and considering the central location the prices were reasonable; €5 for a spritz and €2 for each cicchetti. The spicy one was delicious but we didn’t try one we didn’t like. Great atmosphere and lovely surroundings, will definitely be back next time we’re in Venice.
A fab little find after a wander about St Mark’s. The chicchetti was was great and a nice variety. We also enjoy a couple of spritz which were 5 euro each. You won’t find much better for a little pit stop in this area.
It was wonderful trip to Venice. And this place may be the reason why I will want to return to this city again. It’s a true part of Italian soul. There's this casual genius here that creates such cool combinations of flavor. So delicious food. If you’ll have this food outside you can see 17th century boatyard building right across channel. But be careful about seagulls. They can still your food as well. Amazing place. Love it so much!
Some of the cheapest and most delicious cechetti on the island. We had an amazing lunch in this vibrant and fun little place next to the canal. Very fresh seafood and delicious spritzes with the lively chatter of locals creating a great atmosphere.
Sehr freundlicher Verkäufer, wir wurden nicht zum Kauf gedrängt, wir durften alles probieren was wir wollten. Der Herr war sehr hilfsbereit und nicht aufdringlich. Da könnten sich so manch andere Verkäufer eine Scheibe abschneiden.

Hands down the best cichetti in all of Venice! A different flavour in every bite. We were mind blown, as we have done cichetti at several places before on our previous visits to Venice. They also have a huge wine cellar with very competitive prices, so definitely the place to buy a bottle with your cichetti...you won't be disappointed that you did!
SO delicious!!! Highly recommend for cichetti, lovely selection of bits including some veggie options (I'm unsure if there were any vegan options, although the artichoke may have been). If you love cheese, bread and fish you will love this place 🤤 the best blue cheese I've ever tasted was eaten here with cream cheese and a balsamic strawberry! Yum!!

This is a little Italian gem, a most visit if you like little lite bits, a mixture with a nice drink of wine, or Aperol Spritz. Great atmosphere lovely setting along the canal.
This place is a must visit, the wine is so affordable and beyond good, the owner Christine is a gem, she’s a sommelier and knows what she’s talking about, her spritz are to die for, as well as her Bellinis, Please go.
We were in Venice for two days. Day 2, decided to do a ferry trip round the islands. As we felt hungry, googled some nice seafood place and stumbled upon this Italian fish and seafood restaurant. Did not have a booking but somehow, we were accommodated to a table for 2. Pleasantly surprised by the clams pasta, which I will definitely recommend! Loved the ambient atmosphere and the Murano glassware that were used to serve drinks!
The drinks, food and service and atmosphere are spot on. Great impression my first day here that I fell in love with the place and came back the next two days in Venice for my trip. The music and ambiance really added to the experience and happy I found this gem!

This is a wine bar in name, but a standout is the cicchetti. You'll find tons of them, all priced at €2 a piece as of October 2023. They're all very very good and a value at that price. They lean heavy into the seafood which makes sense given Venice. All are served in white bread which is a little boring but is customary and does emphasize the flavor of the toppings. The house wine is super cheap and a great complement to the cicchetti. Order the white.
We loved this place. It was recommended by a local and did not disappoint! Cicchetti were fantastic- mix of unusual and surprising yet delicious flavour combinations like cheese and pistachio or tuna and cocoa. The atmosphere is also fantastic.
Absolutely the best experience we had in Venice, alongside fabulous spritz and hands down the best bellini I have ever had in my life. The owners were super friendly and accommodating, Christine was so knowledgeable and made us feel really welcome. Definitely worth dropping by for an authentic venetian afternoon of drinks and people watching.

This canal side restaurant deserves its 5 star rating, the food was some of the best we had in our two weeks in Italy. We were pleasantly surprised given that restaurants with a view are often a let down - but not this one! Highly recommend the clam spaghetti.

I’d highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice dinner by the water in Venice. My boyfriend got the steak dish, and I got the gazpacho with smoked scallops, we also got a cheese board and tiramisu we both shared! This is one of our favorite meals in Italy thus far (been here a week). We only waited around 10 minutes for a table, but I’d recommend reservations if you know you’re coming during a busy season. The atmosphere, service, and food were amazing and I’d highly recommend for a couple.

Very lovely place, we went here to have cappuccino and cicchetti every morning and it was always a very pleasant experience. Very nice staff and very nice view. You can sit directly at the canal. The prices were amazing.
This was such a wonderful experience the food was spectacular hand crafted with love the service was impeccable and the wine from the owners own vineyard was so delicious took a bottle home. Sitting in a quieter area just off the rialto bridge with of view of the canal was peaceful truly a 10 out of 10 AMAZING AMAZING! Wish I could shop the whole place back to London!

Solo traveler looking for a place to people watch, read my book and have good drinks. This is the spot! Being the uncultured tourist as I am, I asked for an Aperol, but the lady was not having it. “I’ll make you something better”. And she delivered. She took the time to explain to me why it was better, then when my glass was empty, she offered a Bellini with home made white peach purée. My beverages were delicious and I loved the personal service and guidance of this lovely lady and her husband. Paid 12,50 for my drinks. Outdoor seating great for people watching. Highly recommend.

We recently stayed in Venice for 5 nights, and decided to take a ferry to Lido on a spur of moment to get away from crowds and enjoy the beaches. Upon googling for a nice restaurant on the island, ended up at Trattoria Andri without a booking. The staff were very accomodating, was able to arrange a table. The food was fantastic, particularly the fish selection. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up going there for 3 nights during our visit! Can’t recommend this gem of a restaurant high enough!
We enjoyed our dinner at Trattoria Andri. My dorade (actually two dorades) was fabulously delicious as was the seafood salad appetizer. My wife enjoyed her fish ravioli and her caprese appetizer. The service was attentive and thoughtful. The only issue was getting a reservation. We went there the day before and made our reservation in person. Lovely outdoor seating.
Having been told about this place by a Venetian, I had high expectations however it lived up to them. The cicchetti we tried was really delicious with many options to chose from and the environment was truly authentic. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in Venice looking to try traditional Venetian cuisine.

The cheese was great, but the rest, honestly not very impressed. And we were five, this is not only my opinion. The wine was very good, red and wine, both. The server was efficient and quick, maybe not the friendliest, but again, considering the place and being only one running the whole shop it makes sense.

A lovely chance discovery with some of the best cichetti I've seen! Beautifully laid out in photogenic & geometric simplicity. And they tasted excellent as well. A perfect escape from the crowds.

Yummy yummy Bacareto! Lots of different types of wines, also different kinds of beer and different spritzers and alcohols you can try. Yummy yummy mini sandwiches!! A nice place to try but maybe more expensive than your traditional bacareto.

Extremely charming little place ran in a very friendly manner. The owners are extremely nice and the drinks are amazing. Artisian and natural spritz, much better than anywhere else, for a similar price. One of the few places you don't feel like getting scammed. Definitely worth a visit.

Just had a fantastic lunch here at Al Prosecco. The Panini were delicious, the Aperol Spritz was one of the best I've had in Venice and the service was fantastic. It's in the corner of a beautiful Campo and the view is stellar, including the church, a community garden and a large, well kept Campo. Prices are a bit high but it is well worth the trip.
We stopped just for a drink. We sit outside. The place is very nice and quiet near a public square. The staff is friendly. Totally recommend for a quite drink or snack . Prices as usual in Venice.
Scammers. I noticed the amount was surprisingly expensive, but could o ly check the items later. They charged me 6 euros a bottle of peroni. I can get that by half the price at a bar.
A superb wine bar here in Venice. The staff was so nice to us and gave us great recommendations for the wine. We had their mixed board and it was so good. We especially loved the bell pepper chutney that went with it. Could eat that every day. Highly recommended to go here!
What an expected finding! This is an enoteca, a store which sells wine and liqueur, they also sell truffled products, cheese, vinegar... The service is so kind, I don't know her name, but the girl who assisted us was so attentive and interested in helping us, I don't even have words to describe. They offer great tasting of liqueurs and truffled products for free, many are produced by themselves. We felt like buying everything.
I highly recommend stopping by and trying their great range of products.
I highly recommend stopping by and trying their great range of products.
Their antipasti is exceptional; super fresh and tasty. We stayed nearby in this area. Not too touristy here.
Lovely pasta dinner and great service
We got a quick and friendly treatment by the daughter of the owner. Inside it's light and quite big but with that also somewhat noisy. We choose a table outside. We where there early, around eight and the restaurant was almost full when we left. We ordered three different pasta dishes and all came out same time. Very well made and lovely taste. The cheesecake for dessert was to dry and sweet for our taste. Got some nice grappa as an bonus.

Lively, small sized spot in a busier part. Great small tapas and wine selection. I visited in 2019 and again in 2022. This is a must go. Local, no pizza and pasta!
Staff were really excellent, very accommodating - helpful and pleasant, especially the lady behind the bar. We turned up at the end of the night for food and she gave us a few options despite not really having room for us, which was appreciated.
Food tasted great but portion size was small. Lasagnea was really tiny which was a shame as it was really nice.
Wine and beer were excellent too.

We were lucky to have found this small restaurant. If you blink you’ll miss it, so look for the smiling faces. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Before we even had a table available they took our order, so by the time we sat down our food was at our table. The assortment of meats were delicious and paired perfectly with fruit and cheeses. You have to come at the right time or they might be full. The service was great and so were the people.
Amazing place. Absolutely recommend the meat & cheese board; it was fantastic. The waiter explains exactly where everything comes from and to my surprise it is all local. Very reasonable prices too.

Lovely pasta and house wine with a canal view. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.
