Went to the bar area last night for oysters, mussels, and drinks. The seafood was very fresh, the bartenders were great to talk to, and the bar staff were all amazing! All of the oyster options were described and other menu favorites were shared as well. Such a great place! I highly recommend it if you are looking for great food, service, and a wonderful night out. My new local favorite.

First time here tonight . Our waitress Alyssa and staff were wonderful . Red Beans and rice bake was delicious a must try . Steamed oysters were great . The house sangria is very good as well . Will be back .

We live in St Aug so we don’t make it to Avondale as often as we like. We decided to make the trek yesterday. I went on Open Table around noon hoping to find a slot somewhere and frankly was surprised that I could get a reservation at multiple places. We decided on Blue Fish but I was a bit hesitant as they had openings all over the place. After our experience, I am a bit befuddled as to why. They exceeded our expectations. This is a good place that is worthy of your time and money.

We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and were given the choice of indoor or outdoor seats. The outdoor seating includes an area on the sidewalk as well as a nice courtyard in the back which we did not initially notice but later saw it was cute. We decided on an indoor table and were seated immediately at a table near the front of the restaurant. The place was maybe 75% full and held sound well. The noise level gave off a level of vibrancy but was certainly not obnoxious….it was perfect.

Our server was Mary who was engaging and knowledgeable about the menu. We started off with a nice bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and ordered the oyster sampler shown in the picture below. It included three Rockerfeller and three bacon and cheddar oysters. They were very tasty and well priced.

For entrees, my wife chose the flounder special which was served over an amazing pearl couscous. They were huge. From across the table, I initially thought they were corn kernels. I had the Snapper prepared crescent city style. It was one of about eight different styles. I initially was not looking at this style but Mary adroitly steered me in this direction to my later satisfaction. My style included a tomato crème sauce, shrimp and was served over jasmine rice.

Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our food and kept raving that the place was exceeding our expectations. Portions were quite good and both of us could only finish half of our entrees. Leftovers for today!

Value was quite good. We paid a little over $60 per person for a bottle of wine, appetizer and two large entrees. My only negative feedback is that the table was tight. We had to maneuver plates around but it also meant that I got to be closer to my lovely wife.

We both highly recommend Blue Fish. We are not quite sure why the Avondale area is not packed with people on a Saturday night. Perhaps because every single store was closed by 6pm? Our plan was to browse the shops before or after dinner but that did not come to fruition. Regardless, people should look to frequent the Avondale area more and when they do, they can’t go wrong with choosing Blue Fish.

Food was delicious all 3 times I've gone so far and I've chosen something different each time. My only (first world) problem was that the queso is a tad spicy. Crafted drinks are top tier. Love people watching from the balcony or down below on the strip. Bathrooms are always clean. Wait staff incredibly accommodating and pleasurable. Highly recommend!

Love the food here! I wanted scallops, so I ordered the grilled shrimp and scallops mac and cheese. I was hesitant about mac and cheese, but it was fantastic! My husband enjoyed his lobster ravioli. We shared the Oysters Rockefeller. Fantastic!
During the previous visit, my daughter and I shared the Crab Bisque, which was phenomenal!!!
We sat inside this time but prefer to sit in the garden or outside.

Finally made it out here! Super tasty food and awesome staff. Very cool vibes, with roof top tables and upstairs bar. The hype is real, check it out!

Happy Easter, well after the rush. Brunch was disgusting...for the 4 of us. This plate was cold and potatoes are raw, and the fish lump crab had 0 Bernanke sauce. I'm not even sure how cold the grits are. Yes, I'm still at the table. No "flat" drink refills, kids are disappointed with waffles. Waffles? How besides not bringing them out with my daughters potatoes 20minutes after everyone else. Very bland, without any integrty with plating.

Beautiful scenery, attention to detail, upstair and street level seating. $5 margarita (strong) specials multiple flavors. Ms. Whitney was an amazing waitress. We ordered street corn, shrimp, fish, chicken taco and the crab cake sandwich. The shrimp was fried too hard for my taste but was quickly replaced. The chips and salsa ; spicy and delicious!!

This was my first time here. Walking in Service was amazing our server was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu and my many questions. Esthetically the restaurant is very appealing, cute and very clean. The alcoholic beverages are very strong and only $5 on the weekends. I also liked that the refills kept coming it was kind of comical because everyone I took a sip my server would refill the drink. I got the ka pow shrimp taco it wasn’t the most flavorful but it wasn’t terrible but definitely wouldn’t get it again. The fish taco was great though. They noticed I didn’t like the shrimp and offered to trade them for free which was very considerate. I then got the BLT chicken taco and it was wayyyy better and super yummy

Erica was my server and she took great care of us! We ordered tacos and I had the best chicken blt taco ever! I got it wrapped with a flour tortilla and queso! New cook in the kitchen made my food perfectly! Can’t wait to check out the upstairs and the roof top space.

We had the Tempura mushrooms, Truffle fries, Baja fish taco, and of course oysters...
The mushrooms were delicious, and the fries came out hot and crispy! The fish taco was a little lacking, mostly batter.
Let's talk about the oysters, I'm always a little turned off by oysters served on cubed ice (shaved ice is just a better presentation), but thank goodness these were..
We enjoyed the oysters until we got the last order... I IMMEDIATELY saw what I thought I saw a worm...! Not 1, not 2, not 3 but 6 worms in the ice water just squirming around!
Never have I ever seen worms on/with/in oysters at a restaurant. When we asked the server, he nonchalantly said, " Ya, that's normal."
Is it normal?! Idk maaaan...
Maybe if you pull the oysters right outta the water, but in a restaurant....?!
I'm definitely bummed out because we were having such a great time.

Love love love this place! Honestly, everything is tasty. I especially love the Gouda cheese and caramelized onion quesadilla with apple butter! Margaritas are yum! Brunch has never disappointed me!

We just always enjoy our food here. The Sock-It-To-Me sauce is so so good. Some of the best fish and chips I've had. And creamy Mac and Cheese like my mother intended. We've really had so many things we enjoyed. Thanks Mark!

The ambiance of Minerva is nothing short of amazing. The staff is very attentive and provided very good customer service. The food was so spicy, which is what I preferred and the mango Lassi was so sweet and delicious, really helped bring down the head. My go to whenever I go out for indian food is Lamb Briyani but I will definitely be back to try more.

We read a lot of good reviews and went here to dine in. Ordered soup, which was like thick gravy. Starters were ok both veg and non veg. Biriyani was not that great. The only thing that was yum was Dal tadka. It was delicious. Food is less than mediocre, especially when soup tastes like a gravy from gobi munchurian. The one who waited for the table was a nice person, and that's why I am giving 3 stars else nope.

Wonderful restaurant! I come here all the time and the service is very consistent. Since the last time I came in they redecorated and the place looks and feels authentic! Love the new patio with the high walls for privacy. The food is always top tier! One of the waiters explained in detail how he made the Chai tea and it was phenomenal!

Atmosphere and appearance is nice, food variety was decent compared to other indian buffets, took a while to replace food and refill empty pans, no real table service so clearing plates and refilling drinks took longer, bathroom was clean, oh and napkins only found on the buffet bar so had to keep getting up to get napkins if we ran out.. But staff was nice and environment appeared clean. For the price, which was $18 weekend lunch buffet, I would expect better service, food variety, faster refills, and more labels on food.

Blue Fish rocks. My mom and I try a new great place to eat every month, and this one is up there with the very best. We arrived during happy hour and everything we ate basically came off that menu. Everything was outstanding and we were totally satisfied!

My mom is very picky about margaritas but she approved of theirs! I had the Gin & Tonic which was good, but not my favorite. The Moscow Mule, however, was fantastic, and the Old Fashioned held up too. Our server, Alyssa, definitely made our night. She was super easy to work with and catered to our every need.

To finish off, we had their limited special dessert, the pistachio cheesecake. My mom was a bit trepidatious at first but we both ended up adoring it. We've definitely never had anything like it before, and it was an easy 11/10. Going off of the cheesecake, (which, being a special, might not be available again) I'd say all of their desserts are worth a go. I hear their dessert chef, John, is amazing. All in all, I recommend Blue Fish to the highest degree.

Ordered mysore masala dosa, cashew kofta curry, uthappam and tomato soup. The cashew kofta was really good. Dosa was ok. Soup was great! Uthappam had to be replaced as it was not well done. Ambience and service was good. We felt the lighting was little dark ( u can see it in the photos)

I ordered to-go and this place did not disappoint! Walking inside, it was very clean and nicely decorated. I was greeted by Sara and she quickly found my order. I added a mango lassi so she made it while a gentleman cashed me out. They were both incredibly polite and helpful.

The food was so amazingly good. We had the butter paneer, garlic naan, raita and a curd rice. I had never had the latter before and I was told it was a very good side dish. I very much enjoyed it.

Absolutely amazing time !! Went out for a date night with my husband and I was greeted by the manager who was very kind. Our server was a very nice gentleman who was very attentive. 100/10 will eat here over and over again. Get the coconut shrimp !!!!

Mariah was out server today and she was one of the best we have had. She said she has worked there for awhile but we never see her. She had a smile and had everything we needed without us having to ask. Will be back to see her

I had the pleasure of being served by Maria at Outback Steakhouse, and I must say, her customer service was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, she greeted us with a warm and friendly smile. Maria was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided excellent recommendations. She ensured our drinks were always full and that our food arrived promptly. Her pleasant demeanor and willingness to accommodate our requests made the dining experience enjoyable.

I'd never ordered from here before, but it was great! The to-go host, Juliana was awesome and my food came hot and just how I ordered. She even recommended my new favorite salad! An easy 5 stars for Outback steakhouse, thank you for the great experience Juliana!

Honestly my server Mariah was exceptional! She was so sweet and catering to me to ensure I had the best dining experience. She was always on top of making sure my drinks were filled and was always so friendly to me and my family!

We have been coming here for the last 20 years. Tonight’s service was the best we’ve experienced. Our waiter, PJ am was very courteous and professional. He did an outstanding job. The overall atmosphere around us from the rest of the staff was very pleasant. We look forward to dining with you more in the future. Keep up the great job!

My server, Chris, did an exceptional job welcoming me to Outback Steakhouse and getting all the details of my order correct. He checked back several times and I was very impressed with his service! I ordered the prime rib sandwich with their new (and very delicious) wedge salad. Shoutout to Samantha too, for stopping by my table to chat for minute. Very friendly atmosphere!

It's mellow mushroom's side bar it's kinda loud and has plenty of the sportz ball on the TVs which they have a few of. Bartenders look out of practice and mediocre at best.

I've never had a bad meal at a Longhorn! The baked potato is always the best. Steaks are awesome! Our waitress Madison was fantastic. Keep up the good work Longhorn!

Got a to go order for my wife and I. I brought it to the hospital for her so we could finally have a good meal after 3 days. Cesar salad had no dressing, my medium rare steak was cooked to medium well and there was no plastic ware included in the bag. If you get take out, make sure every last thing is in the bag before you leave, odds are, there’s something missing.

We were driving through and we saw this location on google. Let me tell my whole family was very impressed with the food! Staff is pleasant and the decor is perfect! Will come again any chance we get.

Relaxing, friendly atmosphere. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, with a great baked potato and salad.

If you’re looking for authentic Indian cuisine, this is the place to go. Everything I’ve ever had here is always delicious.

Wanted to add more (10.3.23) I got the Bombay Curry this time. Fire. As always. The flavors are always so fresh and comforting.

If you love savory food you'll love it here. They have a great selection of food along with of course, steak. The restaurant is decorated with a southern vibe with warm lighting. I decided to come here for the first time after seeing all the rave about their Parmesan crusted steaks. I'd recommend it only if you like very savory/salty food, for me personally, it was too much and I had to scrape it off my steak. I've tried better steak but I think I just had a faulty one as my husband raved about his. My sweet potato side was splendid and the best SP I've ever had! The brown sugar made it divine. Our waitress was super sweet and friendly. Super easy to make small talk with and always checked in on us. Definitely give this spot a try out for yourself!

All Mello Mushroom's are amazing. This one is a gem. Fantastic drinks expertly made. Food was top notch and quickly brought to the table to boot.

Somewhere along the way, this establishment started slipping..... As of recently it has been observed that orders aren't fulfilled properly,service is not up to par with offering an elevated "pie bar",& the floors are so awkwardly sticky,it's disturbing.
I really hope you tighten up~

I absolutely loved it, Teressa was our waiter and she was good at checking on us and timing, she was also so sweet to our 6 month old. Definitely coming back we loved it and the dessert was amazing!💙

Incredible food! They have wonderful homemade desserts and their homemade salsa is very good. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl and it was fantastic. I’ve sat upstairs once and I find that the service takes longer because it’s more popular and crowded and the waitress also makes drinks behind the bar. So if you are want to be faster sit downstairs. Either way the food is really good and you won’t be disappointed. The corn chowder is good too.

This used to be a great place to go to watch the games. We went here after the Gator Bowl 2022 ended, and service was great. We used to come here often but over time it just seemed like the prices kept increasing, and the food quality was decreasing. This past time our table order the artichoke and that glcame out great. But we also orded the pie and the people I was with said that the bread seemed to be undercooked. I do remember the last time we were here pre covid that we orded a veggie pie and deded up with sausage bits inside. That's why we haven't been back since.

Excellent place to eat for lunch. My fellow workers and I loved it very much. Service was excellent. Not a place to go if you are in a hurry.

The establishment is clean and service is great. A good dinner spot for friends, dates, parties, meeting lunch/dinner. The interior is carefully dimmed and at a decent temperature with comfortable booths/ seats at the bar and high tables. The food is prepared nicely and at large portions as well for a reasonable price. I ordered a medium rare steak that most places seem to get wrong, but the chef knew what they were doing.

The alcoholic drinks are properly made, especially if you’re nice to the bartenders. The drinks are balanced and can be made stronger depending on the person and their taste. Just talk with the bartender and the staff. There is also a great beer selection to choose from as well. Of course all coca-cola products as well.

There is a handicap ramp along with the parking spots close to the front as well. The staff is very friendly and very quick as well. You will not feel rushed at all while ordering. They will make you feel as if you’re eating in your comfort at home.

A spacious and immaculate restaurant- the nicest Longhorn Restaurant I've ever been in. We were promptly seated and our orders taken. The menu was well designed and easy to read. The food was prepared and served in a reasonable time. I loved the potato soup and the pork chops were tender and tasty. The steak was flavorful and cooked to perfection. I was impressed by the waiter's checking in on us for refills or to inquire if we needed anything. Nor were we held captive waiting for our meal as the check was presented and processed when we had finished and were ready to leave. I highly recommend Longhorn Steakhouse if you are passing through Jacksonville. You will enjoy the experience. 😋

Great small spot to enjoy some pizza and wings

I like longhorn because the food and the drinks are always good. I love that I can add surf & turf as a side as well & it won’t break the bank. Their desserts need a major face & taste lift. The ice cream tastes like it’s been in the freezer for about a minute which completely ruined the taste of the chocolate cake/strawberry shortcake that I asked them to put it on. Customer service is always great. I will return & I highly recommend this restaurant.

Staff is great the manager gave me another app when I hesitated about the first one coming out slightly overcooked. What a great spot with decor, drinks, happy hour, food, and cleanliness :)

Love that each Mellow Mushroom is a little bit different. This one has become one of my favorites to watch a football game. They have a number of nice big screen tvs. It's got a lot of hightop and bar seating as well.

I've been here on beautiful days and they open it up which transforms the entire feel of the bar. If you haven't experienced this, you should.

They carry an above average selection of top shelf bourbons which is definitely another draw. I enjoy Mojo no. 4 across the street for that reason too but their venue is dark and more suited for days that the weather is not a friend.

This location is close enough to walk to from my folks house when I visit with them, which is what I did this time. I walked my camera the 2 miles for exercise and pics, stopped at the Pie Bar to catch a game and walked back.

The bar amenities, whiskey selection and game viewing are great but I come back because the bar staff is personable, attentive and efficient. Most of the time I've been served by Logan, Lauren or Drew, mostly Logan.

I asked Logan this t last time for a recommendation and got to enjoy a Longbranch for the first time.

That's always going to be the deciding factor for me. How welcoming is the staff, not only to me but to everyone? This is a good group.

I've taken home a couple of pizzas too. Very good overall, especially the toppings, though Mellow's crust is a tad chewy for my preference.

Avondale is worth the walk by itself but it's nice to be greeted like family too. Stop in The Pie Bar on the next beautiful Florida winter day and say hi. You'll enjoy the experience.
