The service is amazing and the waiter was super nice but the food was horrible. The coffee was also bad. The utensils were dirty. Given that I visited at 5 am, I understand a thing or two but I can't accept the spoiled food and coffee

I haven’t been in years but in my younger days, after many fun nights downtown we ALWAYS went here for the cure! Upon entering you will feel like you’re in the year 1989 and I love it. So many great meals and memories in this place! Hope it never changes. Customer service has always been spectacular. Ask for the Pollo Loco omelette.

The food at this restaurant was amazing. We had the mushroom toast which was very good. The flavour was amazing. I then had the “pineapple situation” which was mahi mahi on top of a pineapple with chili and rice. This was so good, the fish was cooked perfectly and the flavour was amazing. The wait staff were very friendly and prompt. The room was a bit chilly and the tables were a bit close together which was the only downside.

What a great find! Common was recommended to us when we arrived in Savannah and it was a perfect dinner choice. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were great. They had amazing dinner recommendations.

The food is good. The staff works hard and is polite. The secret gratuity added and quoted as though it was part of the price of food was not appreciated. $25 for one omelette and no add-ons is insane. I thought I found a local spot to get a better IHOP experience. I doubt I'll be back. If I want boutique prices and secret tips, I'll go downtown.

If I could give a negative rate for service I would! Our server, Joanne was so rude, anything we needed seemed to be a huge inconvenience and she barely spoke to us. When it was time for the bill she mixed the check up and charged ours for items we didn’t even get. The coffee was terrible and there was no air conditioning inside the building. I understand things happen as far as the air conditioning however there is no excuses for the terrible service. We waited for almost a hour just to get the check correct. I’ll never return to this location.

Wow. What a wonderful dining experience. Food was fantastic and SERVICE was next level!! Our waitress Amelia was amazing and really helped us narrow in on a decision for our meals. I was overwhelmed by how good everything sounded. Wonderful place for date night, special event or an evening with friends! I ordered the scallops, they were cooked to perfection!

IHOP should be ashamed of themselves for making their employees work in terrible conditions! It was 87 degrees in the store and they have two fans in the front, and 1 facing the cashier. My food was great but it’s a shame my family couldn’t dine in as planned. When asking the employee how she’s dealing with it, she stated it’s been like this for months. I wonder if the corporate office is aware of this issue? The employees should be paid extra during this time for working in such harsh conditions- HOW CAN A SERVER MAKE MONEY OF NOBODY WANTS TO DINE IN????

We hosted an intimate rehearsal dinner here with fifteen people. We did the preset bar menu which was absolutely divine. We were able to customize it to include more things that our guests would enjoy. Bee was an absolute pleasure to work with and made the entire process so easy. The private dining space that they have is absolutely beautiful with a great view of the Marshall House. The sommelier was so incredibly helpful and helped us find delicious wine pairings to go with our food. The staff was wonderful and we can't wait to come back. I'd highly recommend having any kind of private dining event here!

Spectacular! One of the best dinners I have ever experienced. I celebrated my wedding anniversary at Common. My husband and I entered and were immediately greeted by the host with a warm Happy Anniversary! We were seated in the best seat in the house overlooking the bar. Brian our waiter, greeted us with a congratulations card and 2 pineapple pins. So thoughtful! The food was amazing, the presentation and the flavor really was one of a kind. We had the chocolate decadence for dessert, and it was the most amazing chocolate caramel cream dessert in my life. To top it off we got complimentary champagne toast! I left smiling ear to ear from our time there. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making one of the most magical anniversaries we have shared.

Zalareah was nothing but patient and kind. While I have nothing bad to say about her she was doing her best in her environment as for the other older server who is clearly miserable and unhappy with her job, she was the first to greet us with her terrible attitude damn near threw the menu at me and didn’t take our order just ignored us. Zalareah just happen to walk up and took our order i definitely took a picture to post to followers not to patronize if she is working she was rude the entire time had us waiting over 30 minutes for 2 crepes as a former manager of ihop if your fellow server is busy on the floor the least you can do is grab an order out the window she isn’t a team player and by far not someone anyone would hire outside of a fast food establishment you can tell a miserable soul and that she is as upset as I was I kept my composure even after I seen my order was right being my husband had to return to work before 845 which we were late getting back being we waited 30 plus minutes for 2 crepes which where still made wrong her and the cooks were in the back playing around instead of caring for customers oh and she let us know she didn’t care as we left

I have always loved going here . I was so excited to take my family visiting from out of town . My family member ordered an omelet and house potatoes. The potatoes were cold and the omelet had eggshells in it . The waiter immediately replaced the potatoes. I asked to remove the omelet from the tab because absolutely not . The waitress said she needed to speak with the manager ( understandable) . I asked for the manager to come to the table . When I asked to have a removed from the check she said she can remove half of it because half of the omelet was already eaten . No The whole experience was ruined because of eggshells in the omelet. My recommendation for this establishment is to do better . If you dropped the ball in the food department , the least you can do is make up for it with customer service and satisfaction. I was happily ready to pay for everything else .

The ambience here is amazing. Our waitress was phenomenal. The food was good. I ordered the lobster shrimp roll and it was three out of five. My friend had the mahi with grits. It was a four out of five. The bar are a full service bar and it looks unique. The entire restaurant is a vibe within itself. It has an upstairs downstairs parking is streetside so at time it can be a little busier, but what I recommend this restaurant absolutely

Recently stumbled upon this location and could not have been happier with our experience. Food was hot and yummy and our server was AMAZING. Truly the example of attentive customer service. Highly recommend stopping in for a nice, filling breakfast!

26 Jun ‘24 0914 two western omelettes both with grits and toast and two cups of coffee, $34.70 includes $5 tip. The grits were undercooked today. The omelettes were loaded with peppers, onions, cheese, and ham and were really good. The server was at a booth on her phone and never once came to check on us. Had to ask for water twice. Had to go to counter with our coffee cups for refill. Noticed the health department score was 85 B, scary stuff. The place is filthy. The floors, walls, doors, bathroom, even the ceiling is dust covered.

5 Jun ‘24 10:30 $30.24 + tip for two coffees, two Western Omelettes both with grits and toast, I added jalapeños to my omelette. The coffee was really good and strong just the way I like it. Plenty of cream and sugar, butter, and jelly on the table. The omelettes were both a tad undercooked inside as both omelettes had some runny egg whites. The grits were hot, thick, creamy, and delicious, not the least bit grainy like most breakfast restaurants these days. The toast was perfectly crunchy and buttery. The salt and pepper shakers were clean. One lady on the grill cranking out the food and doing an impressive job. One server did a good job taking care of all the customers. Crowded little hall that led to bathroom. The whole place could use a serious deep cleaning. The windows and door were both greasy dirty. My booth seat had a chunk of something stuck to it. The server doesn’t give you a ticket/bill, she just tells you what you owe.

This ihop has fallen from its peak I went to ihop because I wanted some breakfast food as one does. When we got seated and got over food the waiter was no where to be found. They were in the back of the seat area playing and horsing around.A older couple where waiting to be seated for 45 minutes that does not make any sense. The food was smaller the normal not even taking up the plate the size portion was completely different then the picture in the menu. The place was basically empty. I was going to go to Waffle House but I thought that ihop was going to be better. Overall the food was ok but had to wait along time for my sever to appear even though the restaurant was empty.

Satisfy your breakfast monster! A little wait depending on the time, no biggie. Great coffee (purchased a bag btw), very enjoyable southern style breakfast for the whole fam.

My wife and checked this restaurant out. Every time we go by it at night, the place is packed. We tried it during the day. The day menu is different from the dinner menu. Bartender was great. Made some really good drinks. My wife had Oysters Rockefeller and the Seared White Fish. There was a misunderstanding with the server. We were both ordered the white fish. However, only one came out. I had the first one, which was ok. They quickly rushed to make the second one and unfortunately the fish was not done. Sent it back. Despite having this issue, we will return and try the dinner meal. Hopefully get better results. Check them out and decide for yourself.

If I could give “0” I would. The place was empty and we waited 40 min for our food. The lemon the brought for tea was old and slimy. When food finally came it was so disappointing one strawberry cut up and 5 blueberries. Horrible experience.

Amazing pancakes. The attention to details on the plate presentation is great. Each order came with a little pot of gourmet syrup. The servers and host staff were amazing. Even though it was a busy Mother's Day, they stayed calm and professional. They have gluten free pancakes and waffles. My only regret was not getting pictures to post with my review.

Our server Q took great care of us and made great recommendations. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant was well kept and the service was speedy. I enjoyed my experience and highly recommend if you’re looking for something in the outskirts of the downtown Savannah area.

Very nice place. Clean, great waiters, the food was great. They had issues with the machine but we were happy to wait. Me and my partner had Pancake combos. My partner had the Pancake of the month: chocolate strawberry, and I had cheesecake. Highly recommend IHOP despite being a bit pricier than Dennys. But in this economy? A mcdonalds meal is the same price as the combo so this is the better option.

What a great place! Had lunch yesterday. We Can't wait to return for dinner. Amazing staff. When I say best oysters Rockefeller I have ever had! 😋 I absolutely enjoyed everything! You Don't wanna miss out on this gem if your in Savannah Ga.

Extremely long wait when the restaurant wasn't even busy the server was inattentive and didn't check on our table periodically. Food came out cold and wrong then the manager just stared at us as if not knowing how to engage with customers. Will NEVER return to this location!

Couldn't wait to dive in. Almost forgot to take photos! Cozy spot. Friendly waitress. Food was hot and seasoned well. Didn't wait long for food once ordered. Ordered crab cake. Dish served with eggs and choice of grits, toast or home fries. 2 thumbs up. Yum Savannah! Great little nook of a breakfast spot.

Great little gem that's easy to miss. Set up like an old school dinner, but clean and well kept up. The food was delicious, hot, and fast.
I had the western omelet with hashbrowns, and my wife had the veggie omelet also with hashbrowns.

I was pleasantly surprised. We stopped here on our way out of town on Memorial Day. My husband and I both eat 3-4 egg omelettes and were worried about the two egg omelette size. I ordered 3 eggs and my husband ordered four. The 3 egg omelette was VERY filling and the four egg omelette was huge! Delicious! I enjoyed my omelette a lot. I got the triple omelette with cheddar. Coffee was tasty. But hands down, the service was the star of the show. Our server (I think her name was Min) was a rockstar. She had a full restaurant and bar top and she was running around helping everyone and on top of everything. It was impressive to say the least. Food came out hot and fast, even on Memorial Day with a crowd:

Stopped in for lunch to scope out a new potential brunch spot. THIS was not it. Very busy, hectic environment with loud noise. The seating is regular wooden chairs and benches. I got the crab cake omelet which came with a side of 4 pancakes!!! Pancakes were good. But I could not get over the ambiance.

Amazing food, service, and friendly ambiance! Never been here before, so my wife and I stopped here for breakfast and we were very delighted by what we ordered. I had the Salmon and Spinach egg white omelette and it was FANTASTIC! The wife had the western omelette and FANTASTIC as well! Hash browns and grits were GREAT! Will definitely return again! Thank you omelette house for a great experience!

I will have to say on first entry it seemed like a run down hole in the wall. However to my surprise, I was greeted by a friendly waitress with a smile promptly. My order was taken and I had my food within 5-7 minutes. It was delivered fast, hot and fresh. It was delicious. I had never had a chicken omelette before, and all I have to say is WOW!!!! I will definitely visit here again when I'm in Savannah!!!!
