Passed by many times and had to go in! Best burger in town got me! BUT, I decided for the French Dip and it was AWESOME!!! great value loaded with meat! Highly recommend! I will be back to try a burger too! Service was friendly as well!

Great neighborhood bar with tasty burgers cooked the way you like it!

I really enjoyed this place. I went for the Thursday night football opener. The wings and beer were very cheap for the Denver area. Me and my friend were shocked by how low the prices were. The wings were crispy. Cooked to perfection. The sauce was also very flavorful. I will say the spicy bbq was not hot like the server said. One server forgot to bring me a beer and she was super apologetic and made sure I was not charged when another server brought me my beer. The service and food was great. I wish they did more for the game like have the sound on but I highly recommend this place.

Google came through for me on this one. Search “best burger near me”. Castle nailed it! I had the patty melt and was spot on. Guy next to me was enjoying the French dip. That will be my order next time, with horseradish. No one seem to be disappointed with their food. Two ladies kept the place rolling. Was too hungry to think of photo bombing my burger.

Love the vibe here, great neighborhood bar with a cool sunken bar. Staff was nice, bartender (I believe her name Allie) was awesome. It was Friday su they had BBQ so got their smoked wings which had great flavor and the zesty fries were good (you get a lot with the half order)

Great hamburger, and the Zesty fries are the best I've ever had. Fries were extremely hot, obviously right out of the deep fryer. And tasty.

The heat was broken on a day when it was 27 out, so there’s that. I had to go get someone to wait on me after sitting there for ten minutes, but once someone came to take my order the service was good. The burger and fries were decent. The carrot cake was gross, dry and tasteless. There was a lot of something (dried out pineapple maybe?) that had the consistency of a sponge all throughout the “cake”. The worst thing was that the prices were almost double what they are online. The burger was $19! The online menu said $11. The most expensive burger I’ve had in my life and it was not worth it. I definitely won’t be returning. Thumbs down!

Logan was a fantastic server and bartender. They were busy and a little understaffed but he made sure to take his time offering recommendations and making sure we felt welcome. I would recommend requesting him as a server if you go. The food and drinks were well-priced and tasted fresh.

Came in last week for the first time and a bad experience. Decided I was gonna give it another shot and I was not disappointed! The night bartender Chelsea is OUTSTANDING. Served us with a cheerful smile and really made me and my friends feel welcome. She recommended the volcano burger and let me tell ya it was amazing. Highly recommend the tavern and make sure you go see Chelsea. Thank you!!!!
Thoroughly impressed!

Wow. The Tavern is a vestige of its formal self. Came for a Mizzou watch party. Not only was the bartender obtuse, there was no volume, and I was advised that if I’m here for a watch party then just watch, you don’t have to listen. Took 20 minutes for a beer.

Then went downstairs was equally slammed with one bartender for all of college Saturday game day. Wildly understaffed, and wildly unprofessional.

I would avoid this if you are bringing a group for sports. View House is right across the street, and operating at a higher level.

Ordered Odell’s IPA and keg was foamy. Glass came with top 40% foam… which then settled into a 75% full beer. Asked them to top it off and the reply was “there is supposed to be a little room at the top”, as if this is my first high school beer.

Whaddup Tavern?!

Very friendly and awesome staff! Everything was great but our order was wrong. I'll definitely go back here though if I'm in the area. The food was great and the waitress was so sweet to our boy.

We found this place on the Bring Fido website and, after telling my Wife that we’re “just going to take a drive in the country”, I fooled and surprised her by pulling up to this place. It’s pet-friendly so we sat outside and ordered appetizers only. We decided to eat less from now on when we go out. She went for the nachos, and I had a bowl of chili. You cannot believe the size of the plate for her nachos! It’s an entire meal. But, delicious with so much cheese, jalapenos, tomatoes, corn, salsa, sour cream, guacamole. We had to take half home (which I ate the next day). It seemed that every person we saw leaving had a doggie-bag. On a somewhat busy street so, outside, was some car and truck noise. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. Nice place.

Really nice place. Ordered Sticky Burger, BLT burger and kids chicken fingers. Everything was great at the great price.
It’s a nice cozy spot that had all booth for 6 which worked great for our family of 5.

I asked for a medium rare burger and got it cooked to my liking. It won’t blow your mind but it was tasty. The only complaint is that napkins were nowhere to be found.

A good solid place to eat with less expensive options than many other burger places around. The French dip though was the fav. The Jamaican jerk seasoned fries were also great, with a smokey flavor to it. The zesty fries had a bit of a kick. Will definitely be back!

Visiting the area and read great reviews so we decided to try it ourselves. Parking lot was easy to park, was welcomed at the door and seated immediately. Service was good. The burgers were excellent cooked just right and lots of different toppings on the burgers. The house made onion rings were also very good. The buffalo chicken dip with tortilla chips was some of the best I’ve had. Small spot, don’t pass it by!

Found this place online and so glad i did. Food staff and atmosphere are great. Friday and Saturday night the have Brazilian bbq with all the sides you can think of and endless meats brought to your table. Next time i will try it.

We were in the area and stopped in around brunch time. The service was great and the food was delicious! I highly recommend the sweet potato and the french fries! Also, the club sandwich is great.

Ample parking space. Food is really delicious! 5/5. Ambiance of the place is rustic that is kind of a diner that is also an old house renovated into a resto vibe so i dont really feel the real theme of it. The server was asked what is the best seller and she just responded she hated when she is asked about it, it is really informative and nice if server knows what are the usuals and go to of the locals so a visitor might try it, her service is really good though. They accept credit/debit. They also have high chairs.

The Dirty Burger has jalapenos, BBQ sauce, jack, and an onion ring. OMFG! I had fries, but next time I'll try the slaw.

We were seated in the bar which has atmospheric hand-made decorations and cool banquettes.

After 2 days in the woods hiking The Little Grill was a dream.

Walking in, I thought of the old show - Cheers - which was pretty cool.

The place was pretty busy when we went, which is also good.

My steak fajita was okay for a bar and grill, but I’ve had better.

I gave The Castle a try, because we were celebrating a friend’s birthday, and the experience was fine but not good enough to draw me back.

Decent sports bar. Small menu but with all the basics. Locals swing by for lunch.

There's booth, table & bar seating along with a couple outside tables.

Lots of TVs across the walls. They put labels on each monitor so you know which games are on which monitors, something I've not seen before.

I had the hanger steak. Nicely seasoned.

I tried their homemade carrot cake. It is a heavier cake with thick icing. I liked it. It was a serving size for 2 but I managed most of it.

The table caddy of condiments even includes Mayonnaise, another thing I've not seen before.

The manager was so sweet, very welcoming and very accommodating. Food was delicious! Love the wide range of menu items. Portions were great too. I have some food sensitivities we were able to work around. Was so excited they offer sweet potato fries and they were yummy.
We ordered to go and ate at a nearby park. Will definitely eat at The Little Grille again!
