Greeted with cold, condescending behaviour. This is not why someone comes to a tailor, it’s supposed to be approachable you’re dealing with a tailor one on one.
From a basic question on wool, from a customer’s perspective, the man starts quizzing me on what’s the difference.
Buddy, if there are others in the industry that are offering different materials that you don’t have, doesn’t mean you have to get so offended and be so narrow minded.
Went a street back to Suitsupply and bought two suits instead, because they HAD basic courtesy. Sit in the back cutting fabric next time buddy, don’t deal with customers.

I could not reccomend Jaco Uomo more! For my brothers wedding, we got all the groomsmen suits at this location. Abby helped us and was fantastic, very professional and understanding. I could not thank them enough! I even decided to buy an additional blue suit, while I was there. I will certainly be back and will reccomend to others! Thanks Abby & team.

Even though, the customer experience at the Montreal store is very good…the quality of the suit and the after-sale service that I got was horrendous.

I bought a suit there less than 6 months ago that is completely discoloured and ripped apart from both elbows. The answer that I got from their after-sale service is “It appears that these issues have been caused by a combination of rubbing and friction, resulting in the thinning and subsequent tearing of the fabric. This can happen during daily activities such as leaning against a desk or sitting in a chair.“

Considering that none of my other 10+ suits have ever shown such wear and tear from routine use, I would have appreciated if they would’ve taken some accountability in this rather then blaming me for leaning against a desk or sitting in a chair.

I had a very pleasant experience with the advisor and custom program. I went in to get some trousers made. Jean-Simon was the advisor who helped me.

Although I have very specific fit requirements and preferecnes, Jean-Simon was able work with me and took the proper measurements and adapt the custom program to my specific preferences.

The end result is that I have two trousers that fit like I want and with the fabric I want and look very nice.

On a side note, the minor alternations after the delivery (to achieve a even superior fit) have very short turnaround time.

The communication throughout is clear and efficient which leads to a very pleasant experience.

Overall, I am impressed with custom experience and would recommend the program and store to anyone looking into custom garments.

Had a last minute invite to a wedding in Mexico with very limited time to find a suit. After some good research online Suitsupply caught my attention, and without them and Jacky (an employee there) I don't think it would've been possible.

Got everything I needed with only a day to spare before my flight. Even had adjustments to get the suit to fit just right, when all the research I did online was telling me it would take a minimum of one or two weeks.

Bought my second suit here today. Great service as always, Bastien was very easy to work with and their suit selection is extensive! You could go and buy a cheaper suit at Simons or other suit shops but the quality of materials and worksmanship is not comparable. And if you actually think about what you're getting, it's well worth the price. Top notch suits and staff! Will be back at some point.

I was thinking of returning to this store to buy additional items and was surprised by some of the negative reviews. Upon reading them, I remembered that I was also mistreated on my first visit to the store.

The salesperson was condescending and didn’t want me to try on the shoes on display unless I would buy them because apparently too many people try on clothes without purchasing them. Isn’t that the whole point of having items on display?

I honestly didn’t pay attention to his negative attitude up until now because I just wanted to buy a pair and return to my affairs.

Similarly to what other reviews have pointed out, the salespeople need to get off their high horse and stop condescending or discriminating against clients.

Your store would benefit from an improved customer service rather than the selection of items.

Terrible selection in sizing. Way overpriced since you can find most of the same clothes online with a 50% reduction.

This was my first experience shopping at Suitsupply. I was fortunate enough to be left in the hands of Jacky. He spent nearly 2 hours with me to purchase one suit, his patience and professionalism were outstanding. And an additional bonus is the quality and look of their clothing. Even their casual wear is off the chart!

Nailed the Brief: Deven & Co. did a great job fleshing out a vision for my wedding suit, which I'm so excited to wear next month. Deven left no stone unturned and helped me avoid a couple of "design traps" that I could have easily fallen into. Overall, a great experience and now I need to find a good excuse to go back to get another suit made!

Very bad experience. Customer service was bad. tailored product was terribly bad. Prices were extremely exaggerated
I ordered three tailored shirts, it took them more than 3 months to deliver the first shirt and the quality of the shirt was incredibly low.
The collar cracked immediately after the first try.

It doesn't make sense to iron a collar when you first try a shirt. it is terrible quality and unprofessional customer service.

Where to start… the service I received from my first visit to my last was awesome. I created a custom wedding suit with Simon. Simon was incredible from start to finish. I visited a few times for fittings and creation, he not only helped me create a perfect look but was so helpful with Information about the suit, bow ties and a good many other things. Everyone else I interacted with seemed just as personable and helpful, but I worked primarily with Simon and can’t say enough about how happy I am with what he has done for me. Great shop, amazing suit, thank you so much!

Had a great experience with Deven Ye getting a suit for my wedding. Deven put no pressure nor did he try to upsell, he gave sound advice, and was very professional - clearly knows what he is doing and really gave the impression that he has your best interests at heart. Would recommend without hesitation!

UPDATE: Unfortunately, we've had numerous issues since we ordered the tux. Not only was the tux late by a few weeks due to "fabric shortages" (the father and brother of the groom ordered the same fabric for their suits at the Quebec City and Ottawa Surmesur locations and had no problems with theirs coming on-time), but also the shirt was ordered in the wrong colour. It wasn't off-white like we had ordered; it was yellow. Since we're located in the northeast US, we've had to make additional trips back to Canada to deal with this, which we were not expecting, especially so close to the wedding. This has been a major source of stress for us, and we are very disappointed. I left 2 stars because they did try to rush our order. We now rescind our recommendation.

We had a fantastic custom wedding tuxedo appointment with Deven. We were very impressed with his knowledge about what’s currently trending/what is more traditional and his expert opinion, and he was super attentive to our needs and concerns. He was patient and made sure to answer all the questions we had (and we had many) even though we went over our scheduled time. We never felt rushed and we left our appointment feeling like we had created the perfect tux for our wedding. Would highly recommend this location in particular for your custom suit/tux!

I love beautifully tailored shirts which, for women, aren't easy to find. I searched for a tailor who would make shirts for women and Arthur rose to the challenge. They were amazing to work with. Jaco was great to find my tuxedo rental. After just 2 quick options we found the fit I was looking for.
He customized the sleeves and pants length to my size right there in store!
I was impressed.
The whole thing took about 20 min to outfit everything. Jacket, pants, shirt, bowtie, even shoes were included, all for a very competitive price.
Would definitely consider again for tuxedo rental.

Great, fashionable men's clothing store. I loved it because it was a small business, service oriented, and filled with great, quality selections. I purchased several pairs of socks and a tie - can instantly tell the quality is exceptional and not badly priced either. John, David and Arthur are the friendliest professionals I've ever met. They actually care and remember who you are even if you don't visit them for a long period of time so don't be intimidated by their very classy looking store because the moment you walk through the front door, you are treated like a king even if you're just a normal guy with a normal job. Also being the fashion ignorant that I am they gladly helped me through the process of making my first bespoke suit from choice of patterns, materials, buttons, shirts to body fit and overall look. I can tell you right now that every time I wear my suits and shirts, I get compliments. It was a long process (only for the first time) but they made it enjoyable and at the end worth it.
On top of that, when you have a problem, they will fix it. I had some issues with my shoes and they made sure the problem would be resolved.
Anyway, to keep this short as possible, Arthur is a worldwide top quality tailor whether you're looking for bespoke, made to measure or shirts, they will fit your needs.
