I hate to give this place such a low rating, but the behavior that was allowed by some patrons was ridiculous. They have live music and the location and employees are great.
We came in for a drink after a concert, trying to have a chill time. It was a Friday night (11/1/2024), probably 10:30 or so. It was very busy, only standing room outside. There was a table of 4 dudes, like grown men in their 50's, being very obnoxious. They were shaking the table so much that they broke beer bottles, there was broken glass all over the patio. After the first round of glass being broken it continued, nothing was done, this behavior was just allowed. I've been before, during the day/afternoon, so that might be the best time to go. I get that Old Town is a hot mess, but seriously?

Came here to enjoy live music, only to be met by an awful security guard (Robert) who damaged my license and exclaimed that I was presenting as a fraud when I am not. My license was bent to the point of the holographic film being torn away and is no longer valid. He was also waving my “fake ID” around a group of women which had my personal information on it, bragging about how my license was fake and that “he knew what he was doing because he had been doing this for a decade.” I will return for food and drinks at their sister bar (the back door) as the service there was phenomenal. Giving 3 stars as the owner of the establishment (old town tavern) was incredibly helpful and a delight to speak with regarding the situation, but the manager and security guard at OTT do a pretty shitty job at maintaining professionalism.

Stopped in to listen to some music staff was friendly and attentive. Music was great! They did not offer and good my lady and I were looking for something to eat and nothing was available strictly a place to listen to good music!

Came for the music!!!! (Michael Nitro). Had a great time!! (Also really enjoyed Sir Harrison Band several months back!!)
The misters and fans made the patio comfortable even in August. Fun to be outside. Shout out to Tyler (security) for finding my phone and snagging it for me!! So appreciative!!! Our waitress Ella was awesome!! Fun night!!

I was visiting PHX on business, went in solo, and had one of the best nights out in a long time.

Everyone was super personable/friendly, the drinks were good and cheap, and the music was on point.

Highly recommend OTT and I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

I’ll be honest it’s all a bit average. Bar got pretty backed up so we had to wait a while for our drinks. Good atmosphere if you are just looking for a patio to sit out on. They have misters and shade so it’s not too bad in the heat. They also have good happy hour specials.

Happy hour every day 3-7. I got there about 6:55, bar tender ignored me for 5 minutes. And then when she finally acknowledged me I ask to order from the happy hour menu and she stated that happy hour was over. The time was 7:01. Usually when you run somewhere for happy hour and make it in the knock of time, bartenders will be accommodating. We all know the system allows an order a few minutes after happy hour. 1 star for bad customer service.

Great service, even during happy hour. All the staff were friendly. Drinks were good, we had 5-6 variations. Of the food we ordered, the potstickers were the best and we ordered a second round.

This place is conveniently located in old town Scottsdale. A short walk from shopping and movie watching. Happy hour starts at 3 with appetizers at half price. Many kinds of Tiki drinks for the asking and appetizers galore. Great bartender and the atmosphere to go as a couple or meet friends for drinks and eats. Outdoor area and inside tv’s.

We went there in the middle of the day for a drink before our lunch reservations. The place was so chill and we loved that they had misters all over outside. The drink tasted great and even though we had four people drinking out of it, we all felt a little tipsy when we left. Overall we had a fun experience here!

Happy hour was great! Half price drinks! Loved the atmosphere! I'd suggest rum based drinks since it's a tiki bar. My girlfriend had the hula, a tequila based drink, and she didn't care much for it. My 😺 cocktail was quite tasty. 😋 Definitely a fun spot to stop in for a cocktail.

Funny to find a tiki car in a desert town, but there's apparently quite the market for it! We walked across The Drunk Munk after dinner on Saturday and the place was packed. We came back the next day to shop and ended up stopping in for sushi and drinks on the patio, it was a perfect afternoon. I enjoyed a pina colada before sushi roll. The patio is a great spot to people watch in the shopping and dining center.

Our server was training a new-hire and seemed very rushed through the duration of our lunch. There was something odd going on with the bar I think, because our server needed to know our drink order quickly so she could get them in at the bar. Other than a sense of urgency when ordering both drinks and food, everything was great. Flavors were exactly what I was looking for- a refreshing cocktail followed by delicious sushi. It's impressive to have good sushi in the dessert, there's no water nearby!

It’s a classic old town favorite but it’s not much to write about. Small box but nice bartenders. No draft beer - only bottles and cans. No food (I think). Very limited inside seating but nice outside seating. Entertainment is a one piece band. Go for a beer and then move on.

My wife and I were in Scottsdale and my wife had to use the restroom. The owner / manager tall skinny old guy insisted they we buy a beer since we used his bathroom. Not the kind of experience I'd recommend for anyone. Just do what we did and go somewhere else to get your food and drinks! - there was about 15 people in there when we arrived and the tall fella didn't mention anything about a public restroom somewhere else. What a horrible way to try to make money force people to buy something. Either way we won't be back and our friends who live in Phoenix won't be either. Good luck with your policy seems like a good one.

We came for the live music… A lot of talent. I was very happy I am from Los Angeles so it’s hard for me to find a place that has good shows all the time although I’ve only been here once it was an off day in the service staff was wonderful.

The old woman bartender.. was rude to me 3 years ago and was rude to me and my dad today. She naturally has a poor attitude. I sat outside and ordered a Moscow mule and she said "only in a plastic cup" so I said no thanks. 10 mins later I asked a different server if I could have a M-mule in a glass, he said no problem, brings it to me in a glass that had old lip stick on it. SMH. WHY does this rude woman still work there?!?

We stopped in here Wednesday night after dinner. They have a great location at the end of Main street overlooking a park/mall area. They are a tiny place with lots of outdoor seating and window's that open the inside to the out. They have a great beer and drink variety including some local selections. The service (al la Joseph) was super friendly as well! The main reason we stopped in was for the live music...which did not disappoint! The talented singer/acoustic guitar act that night tackled a large variety of songs and genres. Since it was Prince's Birthday he even played a handful of Prince songs as well....really fun! We enjoyed our time so much we returned the following (thurs) night with friends. Thursday was much busier but just as entertaining and enjoyable. We will definitely visit again when in town. What a great little place in Old Town Scottsdale, nice outside seating area with a great view of 1st Street. My dog hours everywhere with me and was welcomed by Jenny and the staff. Only canned beer but good selection of local brews. Heard the weekends are super busy so I'll go during week. Good times!

One of our favorites any day of the week. Love the outdoor area. The owner is one of the best in the area. He is always out chatting with people. Service is always great even when they are busy. Definitely makes you feel at home. Great selection of cocktails and beers. A must stop when you visit Old Town. Atmosphere is so nice you will enjoy yourself for sure.
