One of the nicer ones CGV in Jakarta. I always do Gold class here since it’s really comfy compared to GI’s gold class. And for some reason the foods are better here! Leaving the mall after a really late movie is also easy, you wouldn’t have to go through secret passages etc like in other malls. All good

The CGV cinema at Pacific Place is an expansive, well-designed space on the 6th floor. With multiple seating options and the convenience of the CGV Kitchen for meals, it offers a comprehensive moviegoing experience. The self-ticketing machines streamline the process, and assistance is readily available if any issues arise. Studio 4, in my experience, offers optimal seating around the D section, as the C section tends to be slightly higher. The accessibility options, like the lift or the escalator even after midnight, add to the convenience. Additionally, the choice between the east and west lobby for exiting, with the east lobby being the closest, adds a nice touch to the overall convenience of the cinema experience.

Don't buy the hot lychee tea. I got scammed Rp65.000 from my own wallet, then finding out it had no lychees at all. The staff were quite rude, and one particular security guard pissed me off. I bought a hot lychee tea and went to Pepper Lunch to meetup with my friends, then went back inside to watch the FNAF Movie. I was clutching my hot lychee tea as I went in and the security guard asked me where I got the drink from. DUDE! THE CUP LITERALLY HAS AN "XXI CAFE" LOGO! I would suggest XII to at least train their security guards to recognise XXI CAFE cups.

Great place to enjoy with the one you love. Tho it's need more fixing on the sound system, in few times the sound is muted while watching film "the marvels".

I'm talking about the food, bad services, no food delivery to cinema, no smile, super expensive foods and drinks, mini size of foods and drinks and the list goes on.
My suggestion, eat else where and come just for the movie.

One of the best cinemas in Jakarta because it has IMAX studio with double laser. It also has a premium lounge/cafe which you can order food and drink while waiting for your show.

The shows were cancelled due to technical issues and they didn't explain further. Refund can only be done on the same day, would've been better if they allow other days for the refund as it's a complete chaos.

Best place to watch movies

Good place to watch movies at, the chairs are also adjustable with the touch of a button. My only complaint is that the side lights that indicate which row you're in is super strong, especially when it's all dark during movie time.

Cinema in Gandaria City Mall and part of Cinema 21 Group. There is Imax studio here, so you can watch a moview wide wide screen and good sound experience. Ticket can be purchased directly to the counter or online though some platform like tix id and gotix.

Best place to watch movies. We buy The Flash for the IMAX studio, so big big screen, sometime I feel dizzy but that's fun and amazing.

From the security personnel at the entrance/exit doors of the cinema area to the janitor who stood by the open trash bin at the exit of the theater when we left, it can be concluded that this place is secure, nice, clean, & safe.

Yes, it's a nice cinema to spend your weekend on, but...

1. The movie just started and I noticed...that the screen is a little bit dusty because I can see some brownish dirt that seems like it originated from dust. Not a big problem since it wasn't so noticeable on the rest of the movie.

2. Compared to the other chains, the sound quality and proofing aren't that impressive. In the middle of the movie, you can plainly hear even the smallest movement or the crunching of popcorn from the other seat at the far end..

3. The studio/hall has only a single entrance and exit! Since people just entered and exited the theater while the film was in play (maybe for restroom breaks or dunno), it became an issue since the door's opening and closing has resulted in disturbing noises and lights emanating from the mall. Once or twice is OK, but it occurred 4-5 times while I was there.

4. I sat on the corner, and there's some kind of metal-plating (?) Might be as a part of the sound setting. Touched it unintentionally when I moved, and it stings like an electric shock.

5. I can't say the seat is comfortable enough, despite being supple and springy. Although being a semi-recliner, I am unable to adjust it in an ergonomically comfortable position. I might have to try the other hall since this time I only tried the gold one.

6. Last, the popcorn was kinda awful, sorry to say. When I tried the sweet one, it wasn't actually sweet; rather, it had a harsh-bitter aftertaste from being overdone.

Regardless of all of that, I still had a good time here. The personnels were very welcoming, the facility was clean enough, and there was no need to stand in line to exchange tickets because they simply needed your QR code from your online reservation.

The new cinema is at Aeon Mall Tanjung Barat, if I want to watch movie, I don't have to go far anymore

I actually really like this cinema, it's not too crowded, the seats are comfortable and also reclining. The capacity for each hall is not much, so it is way better for a movie-watching experience. I think it's worth the extra money you pay than other cinema chains.

Watched the Super Mario Movie here. The Cinema provides a variety of movies. There's just too many options to choose from!

Located on the 6th floor of the mall, close to the escalator, CGV Pacific Place has eight small-sized cinemas. Four are regular ones, two are gold class and two velvet class. Having been here only twice in March and September 2023, my review is only for Audi 3 and 4.

What's the lobby like?
The main entrance is flanked by two ceramic walls, embellished with movie posters, on opposite sides. When you enter the main lobby, you're greeted by the crew at the concessions and ticket box. You find the self-ticketing machines to the right of the lobby. Spaciousness isn't really felt. The lobby with its open ceilings will be packed during blockbuster shows.

Moving to the left of the lobby, you see a huge Polytron screen displaying movie previews and ads. Walking further past a narrow corridor beside the screen, you'll locate all four regular audis chronologically situated. The layout of these four audis is unique, each of which is separated from one another, which prevents sound leaking through the walls of the adjacent cinema.

Turning to the right of the lobby, you find CGV Kitchen -- a mini diner that offers simple, popular Indonesian and western fare. Walking past it, you enter the exclusive area for the Gold and Velvet classes.

How's Audi 3 and 4?
Audi 3 has 180+ seats while Audi 4 has around 130. The entrance cuts through the rear left side and faces the screen like that which you find in most Indonesian multiplexes.

The screen
Audi 3 and 4 have unmasked silver/grey screen with a wall-to-wall width and an almost ceiling height. Picture quality in Audi 3 was clear but I've seen better. However, the same couldn't be said about that of Audi 4 which was COMPLETELY DIM. I could not believe they let it slide!

The sound system
Standard 7.1 sound system. Audi 3 has four surround speakers mounted on each side of the three walls. The sound of the front speakers was clear and the surround was quite enveloping. But truth be told, I was not impressed considering this is a flagship CGV branch.

Audi 4 has three surround speakers, if I saw it right, on each wall. When the Dolby 7.1 trailer played before the feature started, the first two words in the voiceover "All Around You" was not heard at all. Bad.

The seating layout and seats
Audi 3 has a single block stadium seating layout with 11 rows, each of which comprises 18-22 comfy seats with adequate legroom. What excels in the layout is the floor elevation that provides unblocked sightline for the viewers. As for the best seats, they are in the center of rows D and E.

Audi 4 is smaller comprising 10 rows with 13 seats in each. Layout is identical to that of Audi 3. Good sightline.

How's the staff?
Trained concession staff, but not the ticket taker as there wasn't any at the entrance when the showtime started. A few patrons, including me, just went inside without any checking. CGV Pacific Place seemed to be deliberately understaffed.

What other facilities are there?
Four self-ticketing machines, clean toilets, a number of chairs with mini tables and also padded square stools placed in the waiting area of the regular cinemas, dining tables and chairs in the CGV Kitchen area and waiting lobby in the Gold and Velvet class area.

Overall?
I must admit that CGV cinemas are outdoing XXI in terms of their cool creative design. Sitting in the lobby of their cinemas sometimes gives you a unique homey ambiance. From my experience, no two CGV lobby designs are alike.

That said, being located in an upper-class mall, CGV Pacific Place must up its ante with 4K laser projectors and Dolby Atmos sound system or Onyx Cinema that defines its class. The current ticket price on weekends is quite steep considering the standard to sub-par picture and sound quality.

CGV Pacific Place has a comfortable and uncrowded small-sized lobby. For casual viewers who enjoy seeing a movie with clear picture and sound quality while sitting in seats with completely unblocked sightline, Audi 3 comes recommended. As for Audi 4 in its present condition, consider it non-existent.

One of the best IMAX in Jakarta and my favourite go-to cinema. The cinema is pretty big, but then again, sometimes it’s hard to get tickets unless you got the mobile app. The place is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s nice that sometimes they have some kind of community event here!

No, I didn't go to the Premiere studio. Don't know why gmap places the joint as Premiere only, and not the regular XXI.

Nice semi private cinema. Love that the capacity wasn't so big, and the sofa was so comfortable. It was clean and neat, too. Please add healthy food choice like avocado toast or fresh juice.

CGV Cinemas Pacific Place is located on the 6th floor of Pacific Place Mall Jakarta. This CGV Cinemas is a great place to watch movies with affordable ticket price on weekdays and holidays with family or friends.
The studio of Cinemas also has good sound service facilities and of course, comfortable seating. There is also a popcorn zone for popcorn lovers and spacious seat for those who wait for showtimes of movies. I would like to say "I love the interior design of CGV." Just eat popcorn and enjoy the movie 😊😊
*The air conditioner is very cold, don't forget to bring a jacket (for those who can't stand the cold). like me hahaha... I feel that the air conditioner in the studio at CGV cinemas Pacific Place is colder than other CGVs.
No wonder the person seat next to me, from the start came in, sat down, and suddenly for a few moments I heard snoring hahaha ... it happened from the beginning to the end of the film, for about two hours.
I prefer to buy CGV cinemas tickets online by TIXID app {make it easy for my self!}

My favourite one stop shopping mall. Located in strategic area, easy to access with any trasport option, even public transport.

This shopping mall has a various tenant, dining place, and also entertainment, such as Sogo, Zara, HnM, M&S, buttonscarves, XXI, inul
Vizta, and many others. So you can spend even full day in this mall. Many choice of food and beverage tenant, such as marugame, ikudoichi, sushi tei, starbucks, Jco, Tous les Jours, etc.

This mall has couple of praying room. There is mosqoue at lower ground floor, and two other mushalla at the 1st floor and near parking area.

if you register the PG Card at the concierge counter, you may get points from your purchased transactions. It can be redeemed with options of voucher.

No wonder if this shopping mall is often crowded. I love Kokas ❤️❤️

Good experience, Im watching Avatar The way of water

Good place. Nice ambiance. Helpful staff. But it needed more stops/rest places for PWDs (People With Disabilities). NOT EVEN ONE RESTING PLACE IN SIGHT.

Always nice to walk around in this mall. They always have a theme. This time (22-12-22) ShinChan and Christmas.

A really warm theme ofcourse, with a lot of sale.

An alternate IMAX for me besides Klp Gading. Truly Immersive Experience eventhough the screen size smaller than IMAX Klp. Gading.

They have the largest seating layout of any premiere in Jakarta. Great for families and couple dates but their sound systems are weak unlike the ones in Gandaria or Plaza Senayan.

I visit this place September 2021. Not crowded at all. I guess because of the pandemic. And you can enter the studio if you already completed your second vaccination. The room is not so big. Feels like watching movie at home actually.. 😅

The first movie theater where i went to watch movie in Indonesia. This is really nice and cozy theater i have ever been. CGV is originally from Korea but CGV Indonesia is better than it in Korea honestly.
Seat was absolutely cozy and relaxed, they also gave the blanket in case that i might feel cold from air condition wind.
It was so careful minds.

One of my favorite movie theater. They had multiple studios, so you have lots of movie options to see. They also had IMAX and The Premiere feature here. And one of the studios have Dolby Atmos feature. Pretty amazing cinema! And one of my fave feature that I also really like is the online booking feature through TIX ID and MTIX, cause it will guarantee you from hassle and long queuing! You can just booked your movie ticket earlier and printed the ticket easily when you arrive. Cinema XXI also had quite of delicious menu for when you wanna grab a bite when you watch a movie. This one also had super spacious lobby which I find pretty relief to see. :)

The seat itself was comfortable. Got a great services by the staffe who delivered food & beverages. Unfortunately, everybody seems to put their legs up which quite uncomfortable to be seen.

It's a bit smaller than the usual XXI but maybe it is because the mall small as well.

The place is not really crowded on weekdays but crowd enough on weekends. Offered film on this cinema is up-to-date enough. The seat is not really comfortable especially if you are on the front or second front seat. You must be a bit dizzy by the closer scene there because the distance between you and the screen is not very far away so you must be get a little bit dizzy because of the closer screen. And if you get a seat that far enough from the screen you still can see the others people head in front of you and it's the little bit annoying may be for some of you. But overall I think the employees are serving the customers well because they're trying to explain to you whether the movie is already starting or not.
