This is an amazing spot, love how easy going it is. Micheal was my bartender all night and he was incredibly personable, funny and overall created a welcoming environment. He had some good jokes too so be sure to ask him for a joke, but he made this experience amazing!

What a great place for live music! We went with a group of a dozen people to see the Spazmatics. A 1980’s - 1990’s cover band that was outstanding. Great time to be had by all. Service was stellar for such a packed bar but get there early if you want a table.

My family and I had a great time!! I really appreciate everyone for making my day special. Leslie was great in facilitating everything and make sure I had a point of contact when she was going to be out of the office. Exceptional service and all around great vibes. If you want to plan an event this is the place!!!! Thanks everyone

Cool place to go to. The rooftop DJ was good but there was no one around. It was practically empty in that place. We got there around 10:30/11 on a Saturday night and was quite surprised by it. Downstairs had a cool live band playing. Such a nice spot to not have a crowd

We were lucky enough to join the Spazmatics performance, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The venue pays great attention to detail, creating a lively and engaging environment. After the concert, we went up to the rooftop, and shortly after, the DJ arrived and crafted the evening perfectly by playing music of our choice. It was a memorable night, and we will definitely be returning!

A total dive bar, in a good way. They have several areas depending on your mood. Live music, comic shows, and bowling. Spent my time in the upstairs area, sipping whiskey and listening to the shows. Bartender was outgoing and fun. He knows the true meaning of customer service and the energy to match. Go to the second floor and ask for Michael!

One of the best bars in Austin and an institution in downtown nightlife in the Texas capital. Live music, comedy and events every night bring the venue to life. Speakeasy draws a big crowd on a retina basis.

The first time I went there was for the Saturday night comedy show at 7:30 which I have since had the pleasure of performing and hosting for. I have walked into this bar countless other times, whether it was to meet with a date, to perform on Raul Ochoa’s Monday night open mic, or just to stop by and say hello.

What makes Speakeasy special is the staff. Tay is an excellent door guy and one of the friendliest people you could ever hope to meet. The rotating cast of bartenders are all top-notch and high quality people both in their skills and personality. My personal favorite is Jesse who pours a great drink and always has a smile and a kind word.

If you’re looking for one of the jewels in the crown of ATX, look no further—you found one.
Art for the People Gallery is my favorite in Austin. It showcases local artists and sells unique souvenirs and art pieces. The gallery captures Austin's quirky spirit, with paintings and sculptures that reflect the city's creativity. It's a treasure trove of art that feels like a love letter to Austin. Each visit is an adventure, and I always find something special, whether it's a bluebonnet painting or a piece of hand-shaped jewelry resembling an armadillo. The stories behind the art make it even more interesting. If you want a gift that represents Austin and its love for the beautiful and unique, this is the place to find it.
Good vibe gallery. All the staff are kind.

Wonderful hangout just off 6th Street. Bartender Michael made this solo traveler feel at home, and the people this place attracts are awesome shining spirits. Great fun conversations ensue. Really good music and atmosphere too. Coming back!
Such a lovely place… short of words to describe the beauty of the area… many corners to get amazing pics. Few areas were closed when we visited, don’t know the reason.
My second visit to Oasis after 7 years. Place remains same and the service was great. I tried their Enchiladas. It was good and not great. My friends had Fajitas Beef and Chicken and heard that it is good. It was a windy day, we were not allowed to sit outside. Sad to see dry Lake travis. Completely opposite experience compared to my last visit.
**Outstanding Experience at Oasis Restaurant!**

My Friday evening at Oasis Restaurant was phenomenal! The service was impeccable, the view breathtaking, and the food delicious. Despite the quiet ambiance, parking was easy, and the restaurant wasn't busy. I highly recommend Oasis for a fantastic dining experience. Five stars all the way!
The drive to the place was beautiful and there’s plenty of parking space. There are gift shops all around. Coming to the restaurant itself, the food is authentic tex-mex and eating with the great view outside made my trip to Austin memorable. Although the service is a bit slow and the food was expensive, it is a must visit place.
We had the best experience! Absolutely stunning views🔥 it was so romantic, food was great, service was above excellence, drinks hit the spot perfectly. Beautiful decor well kept bathrooms. They have elevators to reach the upper levels as well as stairs. The staff was very professional and helpful. Always within arms reach if we needed anything. I love the locks you're able to purchase and hang up on the fence. Loved this location and the experience they offer! Highly recommended 👍
We came here for a quick lunch with a nice view. What a beautiful place, the atmosphere is very unique. We ordered chicken and steak fajitas to share, the portion was great. My friend ordered the ribs and they were a bit tough. The view is beautiful, worth checking out.
Closed down. Need to update thier website. Dont go here
Drove all the way here with a cranky toddler on a rainy day (weekend)…Google and website BOTH say open and the place is completely closed when we arrive. So the one star is for lack of communication, can’t speak for much else…because we never got in. Please update your hours and save lots of mom’s having to deal with toddler meltdowns.
What a beautiful place is this.
Parking is decent you have paid parking as well as free parking, parking is huge.

It is an absolutely beautiful place for sunset time. The views are fantastic, you can spend hours here. Food and drinks with family or as a couple anyways can’t go wrong. So many restaurants and breweries. Big seating areas you can grab and sit out eating with awesome views of sunset.

Amazing gem of a gallery! I found this place by looking up the best local shops and it was far better than I anticipated. Parking is in the back so it's easy to miss the turn in (like I did). I saw everything from original paintings to prints, handmade jewelry, sculptures, photo prints, handmade glass, and so much more. Andrea was lovely and very helpful with all my questions, and provided great suggestions! At the time, an exhibit was just getting ready to close in a couple days, and new art would be displayed on specific walls. I recommend visiting their online site for upcoming events and open call information. I purchased a small painting, earrings, & a handmade vase, and will definitely be back for more!
Such a great time! Went around 2pm on a Sunday and we had the whole place to ourselves. We were first timers and Christian did such an amazing job explaining everything to us and also provided info on birthday party options as well as info on the escape rooms. Christian also checked on us throughout our time upstairs and even helped us get some great angles! The place itself was a bit smaller than expected but there was a wide variety of different backdrops in that small space. Overall, great place to spend an afternoon, cant beat the price and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back soon! :)
I love this place but today we went at 3:15pm and it was closed even though in the website it said it was going to be open. Would love to know the actual operating hours, that would be helpful.

An incredible place to visit to interact with animals, fish and exotic birds. I was able to feed and touch 3 different penguins, pet a boa, a black and white lemur and two toucans. It is small but well taken care of. A memory that I will always cherish. The staff and animal handlers were friendly and informative.

The environment is a clean and well-lit ambience…. The staff is very friendly and they do not suffocate the visitor. The encounters were informative and virtually privatized. Emma was patient, kind and succinctly knowledgeable, especially after repeating to numerous customers—it was still very personable with a high-level of professionalism….. we will be bak, since the service and experience was worth us getting annual memberships 🙂….. Thank You Austin Aquarium!!!! 🐍🦆🐢🦖🐓🐛🦜🦘🦐✨🌎👌‼️‼️‼️‼️

P.S. Caring for Exotic Animals requires a “Community of service” and the prices factor into the operation, of such an establishment…. Thanks again ‼️

My friend and I love to take photos. We went to many locations for that specific purpose and this time we decided to try the Selfie Museum in Austin.

We went at 12:20 pm on Saturday, there was nobody there, I don’t know if it’s just our luck or the museum is not that popular.

All in all, some locations were cool, the light and selfie posts were everywhere. That’s a huge plus.

Now for the cons:
- very few locations, mostly unimaginative
- tiny rooms where walls get into focus doesn’t make for a good photo
- the light on many places hits the face directly from the top and adds a bad glow (shiny foreheads all day)
- we were told that there was a time limit (1h), though we were not kicked out when exceeding that limit, maybe because the place was empty.

I went to the selfie museum in Houston (TFTI) and I’d say that was a better experience: big rooms, great variety of installations, there was helpful staff that can give hints how to pose or can take a picture of you if you need, no time limit.

Conclusion: not really worth visiting.

Had an amazing time here! It's smaller than other aquariums, but much more interactive. There is a huge selection of animal/sea life from all over that you can actually interact with. They sell tokens in addition to the admission price that are used for animal interactions such as feeding the stingrays and birds, getting balloon animals and going into the animal exhibits. They have a small cafe with drinks and snacks. Parking is free and you can be in and out in a little over an hour. It was a great experience and we'll be back!

Nice place. I liked that many animals you were encouraged to pet. My only issue is price. It’s VERY expensive for what you see. We enjoyed ourselves but were there only about 30 minutes and that was including gift shop. I know maintaining animals is expensive, but just be warned, if cost is a factor. Staff are very nice.

Awesome location! The staff was super nice and very informative and knowledgeable on all the animals. Big shout out to Vonnie for making our experience a great first experience 😁 she was very patient with my daughter and explained everything with a smile! She even made sure we were able to get a few good pictures for memories! Thank you again to all the staff for a great experience, will definitely recommend and come back to spend more money here.

Absolutely incredible place to visit! Many interaction opportunities, the staff are all well educated and very friendly! Our favorite moment of the day was getting to hang out with Brandi and Sid the Sloth! They were both amazing and really made the visit special! I would come back here a thousand times more just to feed the parakeets! Awesome place with awesome animals and experiences for a really great price! 100% recommend! Also, Sid you are the most beautiful boy, I hope to see you again!

Wow! I went with my husband and best friend for a day of fun things, which included our first visit to the Austin Aquarium. We were already very pleased with how happy and well-socialized the animals seemed, and the variety considering how relatively small the building is! I was grabbing a sloth souvenir for my sloth-loving mom as we were leaving, and educator Ryan asked in passing if we were sloth fans. I told him it was for my mom and mentioned that we’d looked in on the sloth but didn’t see him, and he said he had some time to show us Sid! Ryan was so frickin’ friendly and knowledgeable, and passion practically oozed from him as he told the three of us a BUNCH of information about sloths, training, and sloth conservation as we stood in Sid’s enclosure for almost half an hour. He absolutely turned our pleasant visit into an unforgettable experience, and I’m so grateful for him!
Pretty bad food and service! The coffee came with the chips and was cold. Normally you get coffee before food. Glad they did not charge extra for cold coffee! They did not bring creamers or sugar , eventually that came after almost 6 mins!

The corn chips were not made there! I could swear they tasted like Costco chips! The waitress confirmed they buy chips from somewhere!

I was absolutely flabbergasted that they did not have any hot salsa/sauce!

Basically other than the view, I will never go there!

Extremely surprised how interactive the visit was! My friend and I got to pet a lot of the animals as well as feed them! There are tokens for purchase to feed animals, but most of the exhibits were free so you don’t have to break the bank to enjoy! All the employees truly care about the animals and making everyones experience so much fun. The employees are knowledgeable about the animals too! Ryan was an employee who showed us Louie the crocodile! Such a fun experience! Highly recommend!
Very eclectic atmosphere. Almost gives the feel of a psychedelic beachfront museum. I tried their jalapeño burger and chicken enchiladas. Everything was fresh and didn't take very long. The service was not bad at all. I would definitely come back again.
We didn't have any food , had an enjoyable time sightseeing & looking in the different little neat shops they have.
We ordered drinks frozen daiquiris. The atmosphere was pleasant and really pretty. Went during a week day afternoon so it was not a crowd. The ambience was really nice and peaceful. Love the locks you can buy and hang up , then throw the key in the wishing well.
The place is huge, we probably did not get to see a tenth of it but we did get to visit the upper deck for sunset and enjoy a beer. The view was just magical and the counter and restaurant host service was very effective. 100% recommend a visit if you find yourself in Austin!
If I could leave negative stars I would. The place has potential but it is VERY HOT. half of the games do not work and they do not tell you that before you pay. Very overpriced.

After we paid and noticed half the game weren’t working and the kids were getting irritated from the heat, we asked for compensation for possibly more game points instead of the playground play. The lady working front desk said she would call the manager or owner to see what she could do.. once she called them she had her on speaker phone and told them our situation. The first thing the “owner/manager” says is “what nationality are they?”

I didn’t really understand why that even mattered but it was very inappropriate and unprofessional. At that point, I was not even interested in a refund or being at the place. Also, there was no one else there and it’s a Friday evening. So 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!! The owner is a racist.
Place is super small and very dirty! Not sure when these other reviewers went to claim it was a good clean place to play. The entire family got sick for three days right afterwards. It’s clear they don’t go all the way up the levels to do even a routine clean. They have building materials just crammed under the crawling levels that can easily be reached for small children. Definitely will not recommend or attend again.
First time here, and it was pretty good. The shrimp and sausage plate could have been better the rice was a little to plain. The beef quesadilla could have used a little more beef. The cod appetizer was the best part of the meal. Will definitely return to try another dish. The view, the service and the environment was great
We went to watch the sunset and have dinner. The views are lovely. Mostly all the shops were closed. It seemed as if it was on its last leg, just a few weeks from shutting down permanently. There was only one ice cream shop still open for business. I'm not from Texas so I don't know how it usually looks. It was full of people, but no where to eat or sit down. We ended up leaving just a short while later.
I had a great time. The view of the lake was very beautiful and the atmosphere was quite peaceful. Our waitress Theresa was very attentive and she had a pleasant demeanor. The only downside to the experience was the extremely close table settings. It felt as if we were stacked and sitting on top of the next person. This was too close for comfort.
Abstract: COST, and the overall expense you will have.
As mentioned by lots of other reviewers on here, the issue comes down to "how much will you end up spending, total, for your visit." Unfortunately, much more than you expect. At the very least, if you, an adult, comes in with a pre-teen/teen, you will spend on average $20, just to use the Game Credits Card on the games that require it. An immediate problem though, is how COSTLY these games are. A $5 Card gives you 20 credits (though they "gift" 4 more credits) - and as you can see on the photo I provided, that is LITERALLY ONE GAME on the Key Master Prize Machine. As far as I could tell, there are 0, literally no games, that cost 4 credits. Everything is at least 8 credits and more. So you want your kid to play at least 5 or so games? Quick math will tell you you'll need at least 40-60 credits. This could be achieved with the 2nd or 3rd tier of Credit Recharge, which gives you 60 Credits for $15, or 80 Credits for $20 (though, again, they "gift you" between 10 and 20 credits, depending on the Tier).
If you're still with me, and are starting to get confused with all the numbering, you got the right mindset. Everything in this establishment is based on the Economic Business Principle of "Nickel and Diming" the customer, as much as possible. ONE RIDE of the 5 minute bumper cars = $7. Sure, you get one "free" ride if you get the first Premier Package, which also gives you access to the "Playscape" - which is probably only for 4-10 year olds. But this Playscape is no better than what you'd find at a park, for free. I think the most egregious example of these business practices is the "...1 Session.." part of the Packages. You see, you can pay an extra $5 to upgrade from Premiere to Platinum which gives you Laser Tag AND Bumper Cars.....BUT only 1 Session. But wait, you can upgrade to the third Tier, "Epic", for ANOTHER $5, which adds Climbing Walls....BUT AGAIN, ONLY 1 SESSION.
Overall, the pricing practices of this business are VERY akin to those of Carnivals. And you know how much money you end up spending, or rather "wasting", at Carnivals, only to end up not winning anything, and having little -to-no-fun. Sure, there are certain timeframes in which you get "unlimited play" for non Prize Games (which eliminates half of the games), but it is at an odd time for something that is meant to be for pre-teens/teens - 7pm -10pm.
Fortunately, there are other similar establishments in the area that do a much better job at respecting your dollar; something that this place cares little-to-none about. I have lots of suggestions and ideas that would INFINITELY improve this. Here's a couple, for free: 1. Make each "activity" unlimited at EVERY package Tier. 2. Raise the Credits on each Recharge Package so that you get at LEAST several plays of normal games, including prizes. 3. Lower ALL your Packages by at least $5 - (jungle gym and 1 Bumper car ride is NOT worth $15, anywhere, in the world)
In my opinion, this establishment suffers from something we see all too often, especially with first time owners of businesses, or small business owners - and that is a delusion that your product is worth much more than it actually is. This leads these business owners to over charge across the board, alienating the standard customer that is not looking for premium pricing.
When it comes to cleanliness, yes, it could have used an extra wipe, mop, and trash pickup here and there; but in my experience it wasn't as terrible as other reviewers have said.
When it comes to food, I didn't get any, but I did see the menu, and it's pretty standard "expensive" for these types of establishments. So, nothing you haven't seen at Catch Air, Altitude, Urban Air, etc. That's no excuse, but you won't be surprised that a Large Pepperoni Pizza is $20.
In conclusion, I will NOT be coming back here, unless they change their prices to something just over the "affordable" threshold, because as it is right now, it's not worth how much you'll realistically spend.

I took my 8 and 6 year old nieces here yesterday. They LOVED it. We did the unlimited access pass for $39, spent 5+ hours there, and were not ready to leave even after all that time. The activities were super cool, unlike any place I’ve seen.

The staff was also great. The manager, Brandon, was particularly awesome. He went above and beyond to make sure my nieces had an incredible time, and that we were all well taken care of. He checked on us throughout the entire visit and was very personable. The female manager (I didn’t catch her name) was so sweet as well. She made sure we didn’t wait long for each attraction to open, even though they were a tad bit short staffed. I was also impressed by the younger staff manning the ropes course and climbing walls. When one of my nieces had a meltdown on the ropes course, the staff let me go help her without hesitation and for free.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I absolutely recommend that you take your kids here and even consider it for an adult date night. There is something for everyone, and the prices are affordable. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could!!!

Tons of fun for the kids. The crew is always running around to make sure the kids are happy. Running from rockwall to rockwall securing the kids, then jumping over to the bumper cars when the kids switch to that. The server is always running around making sure everyones' drinks are full and their food is good. The seating area and kitchen are clean.

And everyone had great service with a smile!
CALL BEFORE to get prices. In July 22, 2023 (Saturday), prices were as follows, 0-3 was $5 and 4 and up was $10 for the jungle gym. A little pricey in my opinion for jungle gym and a few games. Thankfully adults are free to get in if not going to jungle gym. I would give it another star if the air conditioning was better and the jungle gym had better lighting.
Let's be honest, you're not going here for the food. It's mediocre and over priced. We were a party of 7. Our meals didn't arrive together. Got 3 meals, 4 more meals 20 minutes later (not exaggerating), and the side of fries came as we were paying the bill. Salmon was slightly overcooked. Enchilada way dry and tasteless. Good burger and shrimp tacos. Fries are great! The ambiance and views are fantastic. Lots of photo ops. Lots of shaded patio seating.
Great place, very clean, super friendly staff. We bowled, did bumper cars, climbed, played games, so much to do. Had a blast. Fun for all ages. This is become our weekly go to spot.
Went here for the first time… I stay on the north side of Austin and wanted to try something different and drove to South Austin to bring my toddler to a place that had the AC barely working it was so hot we had to leave ( The weather is 88 degrees outside today ) and we’re charged $18 and we’re not even there for an hour. Frankly I’d like my money back And we will not be returning here again

The name speaks for itself! Adorable and very instagram worthy spots to take tons of pics! Some of the ring lights need replacement grips for the phone holders. The facility itself is clean. We went on a Sunday at 5pm, honestly great time to go, low traffic and no rushing to take our pics.
Fun outing. Cute photo opportunities. They even have a little bar area with drinks - soda, water, and wine. Only one person on duty, but he was very friendly and helpful. We spent about 30 minutes there. I would make sure to have other things on your schedule if you are trying to fill up your day.

Went here for my nephews birthday party! They have laser tag, axe throwing, and so much more. Huge arcade with a ton of games for kids and adults. I had a great time and loved their pinball machines. They have to have over 10+ machines. Very cool! Also our bartender had a sublime and nirvana tattoo, she was really nice and down to earth. Will be back!
Was super fun
They pretty much let u do your thing which is cool
The only negative was there was an escape room going on and a room wasn’t accesible very well and the ring lights with phone holders were used and couldn’t keep a phone or light in place
But it was very fun and be creative $25 an hour
Coleyworld approved! 💜

Yesssssss the perfect space for people to buy amazing things and support local Austin artists.

We celebrated my kiddos birthday here and had a wonderful time! The staff took good care of us. Pricing was great for almost 20 kids, communication preparty was excellent, and it was so nice that kids could stay after the party was over to do the activities we didn’t include in our package. Definitely recommend for a young kids birthday party!
My daughter talked me into taking her here during a girls weekend in Austin. I had no idea what I was in for. I purchased the tickets online through their website and added a glass of champagne to my order. What I thought would be a couple cute photos of my daughter turned into an hour long photography session with lots of laughs and great memories. We were warmly greeted at the entrance, I was handed my Bellini and my daughter even got a free soda. He gave us a quick tour and pointers and we were left to our own devices. The entire place to ourself. There were so many rooms! Such well crafted and artful areas and well staged scenes including props and seating. Selfie light rings and phone holders everywhere! The hour flew by. My daughter is 10 and this was the first time I got a moment to teach her about setting up and framing a shot, using filters and adjusting for lighting after the picture. We had a great time!
This place is cool, kinda dark in playground area, but price was responsible!

Epic fun was truly fun! Kids enjoyed their time here. Fav was the bumper cars that spin you upside down! It was the first time we experienced it and was super fun!! Kids enjoyed the high ropes course too along with the play structure for the young ones. Arcade was good with plenty of good options!
This is a delightfully curated gallery, truly a great mix of local artists, wares, and price points!

They have some wonderful ceramics, paintings, jewelry, prints, and homewares!

The staff are so helpful and really friendly, they truly care about the art itself.
Very friendly gallery person with 2 adorable pug rescues that are so sweet. Lots of gorgeous art and jewelry, painted and gilded shells, gift ideas. Oh, and there's an ice cream store next door!
Nice place and inexpensive. We would totally come back. This indoor playground in the summer is very nice to visit!

I had a blast, we went as soon as it opened so no one was there, plus it was on a week day. You can bring outfits to change and the guy working there was very helpful. We were in there for like two hours just having fun.
Very cool stuff here. 100+ artists' work here to observe or purchase. Loved the resin ocean tray!! Beautiful amazing work definitely.
The Selfie Museum is definitely an experience that I would love to have again! The staff were amazing and so helpful; there are even changing rooms and bathrooms in case you have multiple outfits to change into. There are 2 floors and every corner is a new opportunity for a photo, and each one very unique…the possibilities are endless. There are tons of ring lights with phone holders to help get the perfect lighting and angle. We had so much fun taking photos of each other, getting into the moment, and playing with the props, that our hour seemed like only minutes. I definitely recommend the selfie museum for anyone that loves creating memories!
An eclectic Gallery located on South 1st Street in Austin, where there are over 100 Austin area artists potentially on display at any time. Media range from painting and sculpture to jewelry and candles... Literally something for any taste! An excellent place to look for that special something as a gift, or adornment for your home. A restroom is provided and they do ask you to sanitize your hands upon entry. Also, there are steps out front so be aware if you have mobility issues. No admission is charged and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend taking some time to browse this fun local venue.
Visiting this gem in Austin, TX, on the first day of 2024 was a truly unforgettable experience. Renowned as 'The Sunset Capital of Texas,' it's easy to see why. The stunning sunset views from here are unparalleled, offering a kaleidoscope of colors that seem almost surreal. It's a sight that attracts people from all corners of the world, and rightfully so.

Our evening began with delicious burgers and refreshing margaritas, setting the tone for a delightful dining experience. The ambiance is cozy yet vibrant, perfect for both casual and special occasions.

What adds to the charm of this place is the unique Sunset Bell tradition and the fascinating annual Sunset Photo Contest. These customs not only enhance the dining experience but also create a sense of community among visitors.

For those looking for a romantic gesture, the Lover's Locks tradition is a beautiful way to leave a lasting symbol of love and friendship. The Oasis also offers versatile spaces for private events, from intimate gatherings to grand weddings, each spot offering breathtaking views and an exceptional setting.

In summary, this restaurant is not just about dining; it's about creating memories. From the picturesque sunsets to the engaging traditions and excellent service, it's a must-visit destination in Austin.
It's a nice place for kids to play and have fun. Adults can go into Playscape as well. Socks are required!! Snacks are a bit pricey.
