My experience was amazing. The owner was very friendly, reasonable, responded to questions in a timely manner, was very detailed with instructions, super accommodating. The venue was perfect, clean, spacious, had everything we needed. Parking lots are available nearby. I do not have anything negative to say about the owner, the venue and/or my experience. Everything went smoothly! Thank You Loft Life!!!
Loft life was wonderful in helping me set up my event. They were responsive answered all my questions and had staff on site the day of the party to help make things run smoothly. The space is beautiful and easy to customize and make it your own. I had a wonderful event at Loft Life Venue

I recently had my 21 st birthday party here at the loft life in Newark New Jersey and when I tell you it was an experience!!!! Even that may be an understatement!! This was the best way to go into my 21st birthday. The space was beautiful. The decorations went so well I don't think I could've pulled it off anywhere else but here this is the most perfect venue ever and I will definitely be back.

The loft life venue, where do I start from the moment that I contacted Al, after seeing so many beautiful pictures on the Internet, I knew than I wanted to do my wedding there. He was nothing but completely responsive, fully engaging and worked with me beyond measure my wedding was perfect everything was beautiful, and I am truly appreciated.photos to follow
In response to that last review, I find that hard to believe due to the fact that I've rented that hall on numerous occasions and never had an issue. and according to the rest of the reviews they also beg to differ!
I can't wait to rent this space again! The atmosphere is so unique and flexible, the decor is creative and inspiring and the natural light fantastic. My daughter's Law school graduation party was awesome at Loft Life. The owner Al was great, the communication with him made the process so smooth. He was also very accommodating. Shout out to his manager, he made the day of event so great. He was helpful, attentive and easy to talk to. Again thanks Loft Life, will definitely use or recommend you.
Lovely studio for an event. What's up with the AC HOT AS HELL in there. Went to a party last week they only have 3 residential portable ac that everyone had to stand in front off not to melt. The DJ was fabulous but how can you dance when you can't even breath without a fan to cool you off. Every girl make up was sweating off this definitely ruined her party. No 5 stars for you the owner didn't even care.
We reserved the place for a repast in January....very cold outside 17 degrees and it was less than 70 degrees inside other than that a decent place
The rink is very hot during the spring and summer. On occasion they leaves the blinds open during games and that causes even more inconsistent ice. The ice is generally very wet. The lockerrooms are a lottery with one big and one small on each side meaning you can get really lucky or really not. However, offering free parking in the garage for most players at the arena is very nice and levels out experience to be net neutral.
We just hosted an event at ODR Studios. Alex was great to work with. The studio space is amazing. It comes with character and a vibe that elevates any experience. 10/10 recommend hosting your next event here.

Amazing space! Alex, the owner, is super helpful, accommodating and easy to work with. The studio is very big and comfortable, making shooting there really great for any size crew. Highly, highly recommended!
I’ve had the pleasure of producing shoots and attending events at ODR since 2019. It is by far, the most unique and charming studio I have ever worked in. An absolute gem. Excellent staff as well. Photo/Video, TV/Film, Music Events, the space can do it all.
The man who ran the establishment was very nice . He was accommodating with the time we needed to set up the party , he even lent a helping hand with situating some decorations. The place is very roomy and spacious. Two separate rooms in the space . One for dancing (where you see the balloon arch) , the second is the eating area with all the beautiful decorations of flowers and candles. Also I did the balloon arch if you need my service 👍🏽
A very beautiful place I'm always partying there and never had any problems with the venue. It's a great place for any event.
The Barnabas hockey ring is pretty much a great place to come and play hockey I believe that this is where people can come in and play hockey or watch hockey games. I'm really not a hockey fan but listen if you love it come on the Jersey come on in plenty of parking plenty of wonderful food and if you drink beer and alcohol this is the place for you. I work at a major record label and am used to dealing with booking a ton of spaces for productions - all I can say is that ODR was top level. From the process of booking - Alex was super responsive and saved the day as we needed a space to shoot last minute. The actual space at was fantastic, spacious and wonderfully decorated. We were able to pull props and decor from Alex’s space to take our video to the next level. BUT also everything was easily moveable so you could customize it to be as raw / decorated as we pleased. 10/10!
Akwaaba Gallery is a hidden gem! They've done a tremendous job on the space which is stunning. I highly recommend others see it for themselves.

I loved it. The whole aurora was awesome. The art, atmosphere, attitude of administration and even the people attending the event were all awe inspiring. Im going back to this urban art oasis...immediately after i spread the word about how this hidden gem shines on South Orange Avenue, Newark NJ
We LOVVVVVEEEEEEED! Working at ODR Studios. The space was so amazing beautiful, flexible and clean. It inspired our project even more and photos came out magical. What's even better is Alex and the staff had such a good vibe. Very hospitable and accommodating. We look forward to going back. I even brought friends by after the shoot to see it. A magical place for sure!
Decent practice arena for NJ Devil's. Be aware Acoustics are really loud.
NYC quality art gallery currently showing "Vanishing Boundaries" a beautifully installed exhibit curated by Owner Laura Bonas Palmer. The quality of work is consistently high while being varied and interesting. We went on a beautiful afternoon and were able to enjoy Laura's warm and welcoming backyard space and chat with some of her friends and art lovers.
Daughter plays here for Ironbound Elite, parking could be better especially when events are going on in the arena, but other than that its excellent!
I had the honor of getting married at the gallery! The wedding was better than anything I could have imagined and Ms. Laura was like my Fairy God Mother on my big day. She and and her husband went above and beyond to ensure my guests and I had a wonderful evening. All my guests complimented the artwork, decor and Ms. Laura's attentiveness on every detail that night. If you are thinking of having an intimate and romantic wedding Akwaaba Gallery is definitely a must!
The owner is a lady, She’s very rude for a church lady. The way the build is set-up, the church is downstairs & the hall is upstairs. I rented the hall for 4 hrs she charged me 450. She want to charge me more for “cleaning”.
My advice, meet with her in person, document the arrangements, record the arrangements. She can be a little greedy & want more money. The place was very spacious. It’s just the owner, she brings the over all experience down. From a 1-10 down to a 1.

What a wonderful time we had on opening night at this place!!!! Viewing the lovely display of art work, meeting the local artists and mingling with the hundreds of guests who flowed in and out throughout the evening to celebrate the event. Akwaaba Gallery is a beautiful, spacious, quiet retreat in Newark, which is easily accessible by public transportation, with ample street parking. It is a lovely space to hold an event and I bet it will be in great demand once the word spreads. Congratulations to the owners Laura and Ray! I truly look forward to attending many future art shows and events here.
