Quick dinner at this vibrant industrial loft style venue. Both the burger and the Caesar salad were delicious. Good service, good food. The place was busy with two corporate events running in parallel, but that didn't compromise the service.

We had high expectations and we were not disappointed.
The food is simply excellent, from the starters to the desserts, yet reasonable prices for a high quality meal in Zurich. We went for non-vegi, but they had as well quite a few vegetarian options.
The service was also remarkable.
The atmosphere is really relaxed and somewhat romantic, with tons of candlelight. They have done a great job with the decoration.
We will surely be back!

The main food and the dessert were very good. The restaurant is also very spacious. In addition to the food and dessert, they also a very nice bar with available space for chatting. I definitely recommend the place for company events.

I gave them 5 because the experience and the food are quite exceptional. However, I do think the restaurant can improve the quality of its dessert menu.

We used this restaurant for a corporate dinner session. The atmosphere is very good and the food were all great!

I think I lack the gastronomic taste to appreciate Swiss fondue. I enjoyed my experience here, but the view and ambiance is what the bill really pays for in my opinion. My prying eyes spied several delicious-looking dishes at adjacent tables, so I would definitely like to go back to try some other items, especially the chef recommendations. The service was adequate, slow for a weekday, but the restaurant was probably overly busy due to a party and perfect weather. The waitress was wonderfully kind and honest, recommending we add a side sausage to bathe in the cheese, which really improved my fondue experience. I keep finding myself making excuses for my critiques of this establishment, which means I would certainly recommend it.

Stopped for lunch, no problems getting seated and service was good. Enjoyed our food and drink which wasn't amazing but still nice. They had baby seats available also which we found a lot of places in Zurich center didn't offer.

Service was helpful and friendly. Food was tasty and in good portion. Outdoor area was really nice on a hot summer evening.
Did not like the second-hand cigarette smoke, but that's somewhat unavoidable in Europe.

Great location & great service

Although the place (terrasse) is very nice and service friendly, 36.- francs for an average burger with frozen fries is definitely overpriced.

We went there for a company event. It was all good, and service was not bad at all. It was just one waiter who took ok me for a Russian and tried talking Russian to me. At some point he got quite rude, probably because I could not speak Russian back to him. I hope it is his summer job, because I do not want to see him again

Great food, great service, unique interior

I had the pleasure to enjoy a great lunch menu for CHF 25 incl. one drink next to the Limmat river and a great view onto the Fraumünster church. I had an asperges soup as starter followed by Anna’s Greek Salat just delicious!

An iconic place in Zürich. On a warm and sunny day it is lovely to sit outside in their beergarden style open area. The menu at lunch is rather limited. I had the burger, which was good and the portions were generous. But that said: 37 CHF is definitely not for the faint hearted.

Great location, historic place, wonderful views and wonderful rooms!

Had a beer. Took a little bit to get a seat. They served the beer quickly but from there it was 30-40 minutes and I had to ask someone for service so at that time I could pay. Nice view, service slow.

Experience a typical Swiss dining occasion. The location is central and the ambience is like stepping back in time. Enjoy typical Swiss dishes, and classic items also from Zürich. You can imagine yourself sitting here 150 years ago, in this Guild House for carpenters. Lovely and stylish and traditional. The Veal and Rösti, Zurcher Geschnetzeltes, as well as the Lemon Meringue pie, were both delicious.

Atmosphere is interesting, but try to get a table on the side, otherwise you‘re pretty exposed. Service was weird but good at their job - just strange sometimes. Food is great and traditionally Swiss.

Great place for superb zürcher geschnetzeltes (despite my best efforts I still didn't manage to pronounce it correctly but our waitress was very gracious in helping me past butchering her language). Apple fritters were a great finish to the evening. The stand out to our evening was the service. Would rate six stars if I could. Exemplary attention from our waitress. The atmosphere complimented the experience perfectly. Would happily return and recommend for any night out in Zurich.

Downright atrocious. Both 'salads' in the picture cost 13 bucks, the watermelon salad was four slices of melon and some pepper, the croutons were not even toasted. The service was poor, the kitchen inflexible. It was not possible to change a side salad into a serving of fries.
The food is way too expensive for the not even medium quality.

Cool place, great location. DJ was great but music stopped at 11pm on a Saturday night. Cocktails need to improve. Overall, a recommended bar

I booked this place for dinner because we heard good things, it looked cool and their menu was quite appealing. We made reservations for 7:30 on a Saturday. The place does look cool, and I’d be interested to visit their garden during the day. We were seated and after about 30 minutes our order was taken. That’s a little while without anything to drink… right?

I was really looking forward to the restaurant because as a Swiss restaurant they offer a lot of vegetarian and even some vegan options. Props for that! I feel like that’s still not very common. Anyway, I was excited to order the rösti with veggies but then they told me they were out. Whaaaaat? That’s a big bummer.

So instead we ordered the apple and beetroot soup to share, the watercress ravioli and the vegan tempeh burger. The soup was very unique and the flavors were quite lovely together. It was the best dish of the night. The tempeh burger was interesting and I like that they had some pickled veggies with it and the bun was very light. The ravioli was really nothing special even though it had some fancy garnishes. For 34CHF each entree I’d say I was pretty disappointed. But the soup was very good. Unfortunately for me Riithalle has gone into my category of overpriced Swiss restaurants with mediocre food.

The house is very pretty and inside too. Old fashioned building. Worth a visit

Historical building. The whole pathway which leads to this mansion is extremely beautiful too.

Barfussbar is located within the Frauenbad Stadthausquai which, open for swimming everyday from 11th May to 15th Sept 11am-7:30pm, is an art nouveau open-air historical 1888 timber public bath, part of the Seeuferanlage promenade, dedicated solely to women swimming; On three evenings a week (Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday) the bathing facility opens its doors to men as well for Barfussbar lounge/electronic music live, romantic and chilled concerts from 20 to 0:30; Barfussbar sells snacks and beverages; My choice: Stadt Zürich Rosé AOC, Pinot Noir, 1dl glass, 8 CHF;

Good food and nice ambience

Went there for a business dinner, really original atmosphere and interestingly arranged inside. We all very much enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and helpful, food was good, wine really delicious. It seemed very busy even during the weekdays so probably reservations are recommended. Great place!

Nice place, but I recommend Zunfthaus hire Saffran, which is even nicer 💁‍♂️

Great bar in the heart of Zurich. There was decent live music as well, which is rare in this city.
