We attended a concert on Saturday which was "entertaining." Nice to see old faces still doing their thing. Lehman has to do better about maintaining their restrooms.
Loved the FreeStyle Concert. Really enjoyed it. It was a smooth entrance and everyone was nice. Had a lot of security, which made me feel at ease. Love it!
I've gone to several Freestyle Forever Concerts. Recently I went on a class trip with my students, and we saw Peter Pan on ice. Mind you there was no ice, but they were ice skating lol Magical. I love this theater.
The show was amazing. Just loved watching the ice skating ⛸️ across the stage.
Good small-ish venue used by Lehman College and HSAS
Loved the music system, I could feel the bases in the seat and floor. We were able to go into the venue so easy and quick. Someone was available to help me find my seat and there were many assistance. Three parking lot was affordable $10 dollars
Was there for the Freestyle Show. Never a bad seat. Great views and sound is awesome. Always a great experience.

Lehman Center has nothing to envy Broadway. It is amazingly high technology oriented. Great sound anywhere you sit. Comfortable and worth every penny. Great shows! I was there for the first time to see and listen to Mariachi, and I want to go back as much as I can.
A very nice 2,000 seat or so auditorium with great acoustics. It's well worth the trip to the Bronx to enjoy varied artists and performers at this wonderful site. I thoroughly enjoyed the performance of salsa music legend Oscar D'Leon.
the theater nice but the seats are small if your tall prepare for crampness and tight everything thing else is fine
I went to the "BORN IN THE BOX" exhibit HIP HOP 50TH edition to celebrate the early days of the culture I had wonderful time saw great pictures brought back beautiful memories as a person who participated in it . The music was amazing provided by Grand Wizard Theodore and to end the night got me a shirt and a book about the culture signed by DJ TONY TONE OF "THE COLD CRUSH BROTHERS" THANK YOU HIP HOP.
A great small museum on the Grand Concourse in the Bronx. The current exhibition of Michael Richards ("Are You Down?") is great and stimulating. The artist died tragically on 9/11 at age 38. His studio was located in the World Trade Center. A particular focus of his show are the Tuskegee Airmen with allusions to both Icarus and Saint Sebastian. The architect of the beautiful new building from 2006 was Arquitectonica. Entrance is free.

A museum that highlights the art of Black Americans throughout the 1900s in South Bronx to present day. Breath taking.
Admission is free… people can view different types of contemporary art from different backgrounds. There are so many sculptures from different backgrounds-… there are sculptures mainly from Spanish and black American backgrounds…

Small museum but free and featuring local artist. They have a teen council internship that also displayed their culminating art. We were really impressed by the deep thoughts and art of those teens! It doesn't take long at all to visit here and very easy to get to from D train. Opened until 6pm, not crowded at all
Always a good experience
1) Its free! 2) the exhibits are well curated - they tell the story of the art in super engaging ways and organize the work to give a sense of the artist’s message and mindset 3) It’s a beautiful building 4) it’s a peaceful space for exploration and contemplation 5) its easy to get to - a block from the D train.
Nice venue, and the price for the show was really inexpensive. The cherry on top is that they don't sell tickets through ticketmaster
In The Heights at The Point was phenomenal!
I went to see Gaby Alicea at this theater and it was a great event. Laughed non-stop. It was a full house.

They had a clip about the artist playing before you head into the huge white gallery. My wife and I decided to walk past the people and go to the gallery first! Lovely photos! We went back and watched the clip afterward. The museum is Perfect for taking pictures of your own! It was squeaky clean with a tiny gift shop. I had hoped for a larger gift shop! The museum wasn’t crowded at all!

Very well equipped space. Great staff. BxO performances, studio space, plenty of dressing rooms, large green room. High-quality tech.
Today was my first time visiting The Bronx Museum of the Arts. Beautifully designed and structured. It has a modern appeal with stone and glass combined to create the spaces that host works of art from artists then and now. The exhibit pays homage to the 80’s. From boom boxes to graffiti, this exhibit exudes an era that has not been forgotten and to some extent still lives on through other works of art.
Excellent place to attend a theatrical performance in the Bronx. Easy access by train or bus. Prices for performances are reasonable. Local places to eat near center. Call for free performances.
I have 2 daughters in this program and we love it and are always eager for the next class!!!! Great teachers, fun classes, professional, all around the best. I highly recommend. Mr. Casey does his thing!!!!!!!!
I absolutely Love coming to my Zumba classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. My daughter takes dance classes here and has been taking classes with Casimar now for 6 years and she loves it ! This is definitely one of the South Bronx hidden gems. You should come see for yourself. More than a dance studio its an experience .

Yesterday I had the good fortune of seeing "God of Carnage" at City Island Theater Group on City Island in Bronx, New York. My hat is off to the good folks there. The play was perfectly cast, solidly acted, and a straight ninety minutes of good fun. There are still tickets available for the last three performances next weekend. Get them today!

Excellent production of A Few Good Men. I was very impressed by the way the director used minimal sets that didn't distract from the story. The acting was wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed this!

Went for a writers workshop and I loved it...it's cozy it's warm and I'm looking into doing my OWN workshop in the future there!
Wonderful theater family with truly dedicated owners. They do a fabulous job of encouraging the arts in the Bronx. My daughter is learning so much about theater & skills not typically taught at other establishments.

I am sure that the artists are excellent. But this used to by my home. I am a person of color, United States Navy Veteran as well as a former New York City School teacher. I just be happened to be perusing the Internet and saw that my home had been turned into a theater as well as an Airbnb. I find it ironic that a theater company claims to support "cultural enrichment" and "immigrant communities" by charging a $120 a night (nearly 3 times the rent) to stay in an Airbnb. So how exactly does charging $3,600 a month "build community" and "catalyze community action" in a neighborhood that is in the poorest county in New York state and the poorest Congressional district in the United States.
Always love doing performances with the people their. Love to watch their amazing plays too. You should try out for the other activities!
Great place. Great program and super staff. The children spend the day dancing different genres, the girls say it never boring, different instructors, have breaks for lunch either personally provided or for a nominal fee they get a full lunch with healthy options at the fruit and veggies smoothie place next door. Slowly renovating the inside of building and starting to look great. The studio is clean, spacious and professional. I have no doubt my daughters will get full well rounded dance skills, confidence boosters and strength and toning is the physical activity. Casimar is awesome, Lissette is sweet and helpful. I haven't met the individual instructors for all the genres personally but from the opinions from my 10 year old and 7 year old daughters, they are all very nice and fun. I can see us being a part of the basis of Casimar for many years to come.

Casimar is the BEST in the game. Not only does he provide instruction based on your needs but also on the things that you love to do. I have been following casimar since 2009 and don’t regret it! I have been able to stay fit, dance to the music I love and have an instructor that pushes me to my fullest potential. This location is also super easy to find, parking is easy and the dance studio makes me feel like a star! Highly recommend!
I recently completed a 4 week/8classes small group personal training with The Haus. It was intense and amazing but most importantly, EFFECTIVE! I lost 11lbs, several inches, and increased my strength. My skin is even glowing! I can fit into stretch pants that previously could not pass my thighs. I just started another cycle and I'm excited for the results at the end.
I have been to many fitness classes and I have never had a trainer make me feel as motivated as Casimar! I have had the pleasure of having him as not only a Zumba trainer but a personal trainer, my daughter also dances with the girls in dance class. Classes with Casimar are very fun and effective
I love the classes that are offered at The Haus of Casimar. Casimar is a great coach and is always pushing me to my limits and beyond. He has made me a personalized routine to follow as well as a diet supplement to keep in order to achieve my weight goals. The prices are affordable and Casimar really works with you to get the most for what your paying for. If your planning on joining a gym, I would strongly suggest The Haus of Casimar !!!
So I came as a guest of my friend for the Follow My Fitness Class and now i am obsessed and a consistent client. The instructor Casey is so great! He’s fun and made me super comfortable and kept pushing me through the pain! Not to mention his playlist is LIT! He makes working out so enjoyable and i look forward to these classes every week now. The best part is I’m already starting to see results just after a few weeks! :) Definitely reccomend!

Wonderful community theater productions. The price is quite reasonable for their professional performances. Everyone who volunteers with them has a passion for the theater and is open to conversation and photos afterwards. It has become a tradition to attend.

They always put on an entertaining show for a local theater group. Best way to spend $20.
