Really enjoyed this comedy night, the host was super friendly and there was a super range of comedians. It’s great value for money and handily located opposite Camden tube station. Would 100% recommend.
My daughter treated us to this for my birthday. Brilliant fun and so cheap for central London! Louis the compère was excellent and we really enjoyed the acts. Great atmosphere although very intimate…! Would highly recommend and hope to return soon.
This is honestly one of the best comedy nights in London. The hosts are always warm and hilarious, the quality of acts are always really high. The vibe is beautiful. If you haven’t been, GO!!🔥
It’s a great venue, really cute little space upstairs for comedy. In my opinion, the show was entertaining but not hilarious. However, every comedian did a great job with their different charisma.
Great acts! Great atmosphere! Although the area is small, the seating was well spaced out. We were sat right by the stage area. The acts were great. It was good to see newcomers. I have to admit it was better than the other well established comedy clubs iv been to where i've paid £20 to see comedy. It even has a bar in the same room as the comedy. No need to worry about queues to buy drinks. Definitely recommend it and will visit again!
Fantastic night. Located in the heart of Camden, lineups are made up of great comedians, room has a very chilled out vibe for a fun night out. If you are looking for a quality show to see, this is a super option, if you're a comedian you should want to be on this stage.
We had a great time. The comedians were talented & very funny. Each is in for about 10 minutes or so & whilst some of the material wasn’t quite there, they’re trying new jokes & no one is on long enough for that to be a problem. The bar below is quite cool & there’s a friendly, chilled vibe. Go!
Side-splitting comedy. Michael was relentless in his rapid fire delivery. My sides still hurt. Great venue too, and delicious paella. Fantastic night out, we’ll be back!! Looking forward to checking out The Comedy Boat too!!
SOHO’S TWISTED COMEDY & PAELLA NIGHT was absolutely fabulous! Jamón Jamón staff were great hosts, the venue perfect for the ocasion and the paella awesome!! The compare and comedy great! Michael however totally stole the show! Non stop laughs, tears and now (still) aching abs! Totally recommend!

Went to see the very funny Tom Houghton. Great little venue.
We went to the Battersea Barge on the first Sunday of 2024 and we had such an amazing time, the comedians and the atmosphere were great. We loved it so much, my group went again a few days later to the Soho Comedy Club which is run by the same people and we were not disappointed. This time we got the food and drink package which I recommend. The paella and sangria were delicious. The comedians were hilarious and the scene was lovely. We really enjoyed it and will be booking again soon.
Fun activity to do on a Wednesday night. The room is small so the show has an intimate and exclusive feel. The MC was great at getting the energy up and the comedians were really funny. Would recommend !

The show was great, the space for the comedy shows - not so much. I got over the tightness though. It was having no working taps in the toilets that got me. You had to go out, and queue to use the one tap, tiny sink in the access WC. It was a mess.
Beautiful little theatre tucked away a short stroll from Leicester Square tube station. We went to see Stick Man and it was fabulous! The performance was superb and all of the staff are wonderfully welcoming 😊

I had issues with purchasing tickets online (the system was prompting me to buy 3 tix instead of 2). Rob their customer service was so incredibly helpful to assist me with it! So friendly and willing to help. Very pleased with his service! Can’t wait for the show!

If you want lazy unfunny boring racist and sexist comedy masked as ‘dark comedy’ then this is the comedy night for you. The only real darkness was having no lights in the toilets! . We and some others left after the first half it was so bad. Stuff like ‘watch your bags, black people in the house..’ etc, was the best they could do. The compare was terrible. The only really good thing was the food from the restaurant hosting this event, Jamon Jamon, even with the small portions. I love comedy, even the risky stuff if it’s clever and have been going to comedy clubs regularly for years, this was by far the worst comedy I’ve seen.
Tonight's comedy show was an absolute delight, earning a well-deserved five stars. Michael, the host, brought a unique blend of clever humor and relatable anecdotes that kept the audience engaged from start to finish. The entire lineup was fantastic, making it a memorable evening filled with laughter. If you're looking for a top-notch comedy experience, this is the show to attend!

I had an amazing time at tonight's comedy show! Michael, the host, delivered non-stop laughs, creating a lively atmosphere. His wit and humor connected effortlessly with the audience, making it a five-star night of pure entertainment. Highly recommended for a good dose of laughter!

Great night out! All the comedians were quality and Michael (the host) did a great job running the show, working the crowd, and keeping the energy going from start to finish. The venue is really nice. Small room of maybe 40 people packed pretty tight, so the energy of the crowd really makes it what it is. There's a seperate bar down there for you too, plus another in the restaurant if need be.

Dark humour is what they advertise, and they have it! Some jokes will have you hiding your face laughing at them, and others catch you completely off guard, and you'll be properly laughing out loud. All in the name of comedy!

Really excellent venue I’ve been to three times now - have had a great experience every time. Prices are reasonable, seating is good throughout the theatre, the general decor and aesthetic is very friendly and creates the ideal atmosphere for the kinds of shows hosted here, and the staff are lovely. I work in theatre myself so I know that doesn’t always all come together easily! Had a particularly good experience this time as I desperately needed to charge my phone, and the woman at box office let me borrow a port, and was very kind about it - was immensely grateful :)

What a great night in the comedy club.
Amazing host Ivor, thank you for making our birthday celebrations a night to remember.

Pub downstairs great staff and atmosphere
Will definitely be returning.
Michael was a great host. We found all the acts hilarious. Some of the content was pretty dark.. but that’s what we were there for! The paella & sangria wasn’t too shabby either. We will definitely be back!

Felt like a little time capsule - very traditional pub and I loved it. Apparently the last independent pub running in Soho. Bustling even on a Sunday evening with a fabulous (and hilarious) £5 comedy show upstairs at 7.30pm. Finished at 9pm too so not too crazy for a weekend.

Great place to go for comedy. My first time here.

Located in the pub *The Blue Posts* and there is a bar upstairs (comedy room) and downstairs. 6 comedians performed and was entertained the whole night ... not bad for only £5.

Toilets are next door so very easy to go to. The seats are not the most comfortable, however it gives it that comedy vibe.

Will return again

Fun experience. Fair pricing. Motivated host and producer.
Will be back. The acts were not amazing this time. Let’s hope for the next evening.

Still. Given the super fun crowd worth the visit for sure.
Lovely Saturday night. Very lively. Worth visiting. Lots of eatery to visit. We went to Mr Maco Pierre's Whites restaurant in Leicester Square.
Atmosphere there was good. Service very slow, had to keep asking, three times for our drinks. Foods was ok. Over priced for my small piece of Salmon. Going there is a novelty. Should have gone to China town instead which is about 4 mins walk.
I had a great time at Comedy in Your Eye! In total, we saw six comedians, each for about 10. And in the middle there was a nice break. The MC was a nice touch, and very funny! :)

The comedians were funny, and even though not all of them were my absolute favourite, that didn’t really matter because we quickly went on to the next one! There was a variety of comedians which I particularly enjoyed, and this made a fun evening!

Went to see Millwall Jew. Venue very small, you have to go through a pub. Everyone was very friendly and a good venue for small acts. Iver from the comedy act was superb. I highly recommend going to watch this act.
Iconic red curtain. Intimate size. Great variety of acts. This place knocked my socks off. This is Soho's Bill Murray. (Oh, and Sunday gig tickets are dirt cheap.)
We were greeted with welcome shots and all the drinks were good, a bit on the sweet side. However, the downstairs bar smells of old furniture

Took 10 months to sort out a problem I had with them, but that's the admin staff. The actual premises is great. Went to see Adrian Bliss and had a great time. The theatres are really intimate, so you're up close and personal with whoever is performing. Reasonable prices if you're drinking non-alcoholic drinks too, so win win for me.

Went to see Ben & Emil at the Leicester Square Theater.

Seating is good. I didn't feel like I was pressed shoulder to shoulder with the person next to me like I have in other venues. My knees did lightly touch the chair in front a bit, but that's because I'm fairly tall. Overall, quite comfortable.

Booking tickets was straightforward. Received a prompt response via email when I had a question. Friendly staff.

There is a bar on-site but I didn't get anything because I came from Wetherspoons so can't comment on it.

Parts of the theater could do with a fresh coat of paint. But nothing major.

Will visit again if there's another show I want to see. :)

We had a fabulous evening celebrating our daughter’s 25 bday. The acts were a great mix of styles. Very entertaining. Highly recommend the club.
Visited on a Saturday evening - had a reservation for the piano bar. It was a lot of fun, the atmosphere was excellent, and everyone seemed to be having a good time! The cocktail menu had various “themes” and within each you could order a house, mid level or top cocktail of that variety. I enjoyed a chocolate style cocktail with whipped cream and Oreo cookies - yum!
Great comedy sets, diverse lineup, helpful staff, and a truly lively environment! Can’t wait to visit again :)
Cute little theatre situated next door to The Prince Charles Cinema.

Quite a small venue, so I feel wherever you are seated you will get a good view.

Bar staff were super friendly and very efficient.

Really enjoyed the show and will definitely return for another performance.

Great place to stop by for a drink. The waitress was truly nice and went over the moon trying to accommodate our request! Bright and colorful place, a good alternative to the high street all the same chain bars!

Good place, great vibe. We watched a comedy show. Side balcony seats are not bad at all, and a bit cheaper too. Drinks weren't very costly and the toilets were clean.
I visited this week with friends. The cocktails were good and the customer service from the bar staff amazing. Really attentive and personable bar staff.

I feel there are two main areas for improvement. The seating definitely needs to be looked at. I ended up on a sofa. They look old and you sink into them. Definitely wasn't great for my back. The volume of the music was also way too loud for early in the week and only a few people in the bar. We found it really difficult to speak and hear each other.

All in all a great bar and we will be back.
An amazing small cocktail bar located underground in Leicester Square. Place allows people with either reservations or people who provide their email.

Cocktails are nice but the staff are even nicer. They are incredinle friendly and always serving people with a smile. They definately seem to be having a lot of fun meanwhile working.

It is a small cocktail bar but very cozy and looks like thr atmosphere tries to mix a bit of old traditional style with a bit of an alchemical laboratory.

The music is quite good and there are some sofas that are extremely comfortable. Place literally feels like everyone there is part of a big family.

They also offer you a welcome drink once you sit at no cost at all.
This venue has the feel between a comedy club and small theatre. It's an intimate choice to make for an evenings entertainment and the play that I saw here was perfect for this type of venue. I hope that future nights are as enjoyable and I will certainly be visiting this venue again.

Attended the Saturday Night Comedy show and it was absolutely hilarious with a wide range of styles.

The venue is intimate so be a little bit early to get a good seat. Also get your drink at the bar before you head up to the club (or at the break) because it's hard to wiggle your way out in the middle of the show (you'll also make yourself out as an easy target for taking the piss out of).

Be warned if you sit in the front row you will be dragged in as part of the show.

(The comedy club is up stairs so those with mobility issues should make further enquiries, but the seats upstairs are very comfortable)
I wanted to give my family a surprise experience during our short stay in London, and my search through the Internet had retrieved this club among the possibilities available. I am overjoyed I went for this, because the Covent Garden Social Club delighted us with a strong line-up of stand-up comedians that kept us entertained and laughing for the best part of the evening. Also, it was good we overcame any initial doubts we might have harboured about sitting just in front of the stage, as both I and my 20- year-old son thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the comedians when asked questions... or picked upon.
Small but perfectly formed (quite hard to find if you've never been, though).

Women's toilets fine, although only 3 and when I went no soap in the soap dispenser and no hand dryer.
After reading the reviews, I expected them to be awful. But then I went to the 'other' ladies' loos instead of the signposted ones (avoids the inevitable huge queues for the ladies)
As soon as you see the signs for the ladies loos next to the bar, keep walking through the doors so you're directly in front of the staircase out, and to your left there's a staircase down and there are men & women's toilets and a bar. On the way down, have a look at the portraits of stars who've performed there; it seems to be a rite of passage for most well-known stars.

There's also a bar directly outside the auditorium and 2 inside the auditorium.

Sat with a friend in I 16 and I 17 and had a perfect view; straight in the eyeline of Ben Willbond/Larry Rickard from Horrible Histories/Yonderland/Ghosts, & later Bridget Christie, at the RHLSTP (Richaed Herring's Leicester Square Theatre Podcast) podcast. Next time, if I can, I'll sit in 16/17 but a couple rows ahead. But all views are good.

Even during the interval when I went to the auditorium bar I saw the view from the bar stools (with the stage set up for Bridget's podcast - they film 2 podcasts in one day) which was perfect, if a little far away. It's a small 400-seat theatre, so every seat will be good (apart from the couple in front of speakers right at the front).

Ben and Larry and Bridget Christie were so lovely, spending likely hours meeting the 400 fans queueing outside (the show finished at 10pm, I left at about 10:50pm and I was quite early on in the queue. Thr queue ended up going all the way down the street). Gutted to miss Bridget, but I got to meet Ben & Larry (15 years in the making since I grew up watching Horrible Histories, as did a lot of people there), and they were so lovely, I managed to make Larry laugh & even got a hug from Ben 😍
Such a fun and entertaining night out. A small bar on a basement from the main road. An old decor, with some leather sofas and a long mirror. The bar is small but the bartenders are really quick. A very nice cocktail list of drinks (large list). The bartender even said he could do almost all without alcohol for me. I asked him to surprise and I got a very nice refreshing drink. Music is from all decades and super dancing. People climb at the tables and sing loud. Really fun.
The cocktails ar every nice and piano club is free entry even if you are not a member. There is good quiet atmosphere and friendly staff, the piano night is then 10 pounds!

Been here twice recently - the upstairs is unreserved seating, a little on the warm side, but all good for a short play.

Downstairs I saw a pretty funny comedy show - slightly strange reserved seating in we were told strict seating positions despite it being fairly quiet on the night.

Definitely worth going to.
Amazing experience..
I went signed in as guest as its a members club .VERY friendly staff and it's a very closed ambiance, it feels super secret, the manager was great,
We left for dinner and came back, he recognised us and immediately and a chat, the cocktails are the ones. Delicious and 2 for 1. 😍... ideal for date night, stop over, or late night night drinks.🔥🎊
The crew is absolutely amazing. There was a new girl too and did great 😇😃💯

First visit to the Soho Theatre and will certainly be coming back. Upstairs you have a lively and airy bar area although it would be nice if the staff serving behind the bar could actually crack a smile....or perhaps I am being too picky! Downstairs the feeling is a lot more intimate with a small stage and tightly packed tables in front. Seann Walsh who we hadn't seen live before was hilarious and well worth the modest £16 ticket price. Seann even waited around upstairs to make sure we all went home afterwards! Or perhaps to say thanks... not sure! A great comedy venue and one I would highly recommend....just don't expect the bar staff to show the same good humour... maybe they were saving it for Seann!
