Awesome place on the GOR. A lot of twisties to reach there. We were on a motorbike weekend trip when we visited.

Fantastic hike! Loved every bit of it but what a surprise seeing the tree house along the path!! 😊 Tuesday Oct 1st 2024

Beautiful falls but if you don’t like steep walks you might give this one a miss.

This is a beautiful walk & place for people that are fit, I found this place reading an article about dog friendly places in the area.
Its easier going down, not so back up, my mum was with me and she found the walk difficult especially on the way back.
The pathway seems to go downwards at the beginning but it does get smaller as you get closer to the waterfall, it is a bit muddy & slippery in areas also.
I was covered in mud because as the pathway gets smaller I had to keep lifting my dog up to make room for people going in the other direction. Still a nice day out :)

This is a MUST visit if you are in the area. The towering redwoods and the creek make for an overall majestic atmosphere it's a very special place. I highly recommend dropping by just to experience the forest and snap some photos 😉
These redwoods were planted in the 1930s and are just children in comparison to the ones in California USA. Despite that they are still stunning and will even build your appreciation for how large they must be if they grow for thousands of years.

The Redwoods in the Otways is a truly magical place, and I rank it as a close second to the 12 Apostles. Walking among these towering trees feels like stepping into another world. The peaceful atmosphere and the sheer size of the redwoods make this a must-visit spot for nature lovers and anyone exploring the Great Ocean Road. The grove is well-maintained, and the surrounding area is lush and beautiful, offering plenty of photo opportunities. Whether you're looking for a quiet place to reflect or just want to experience the awe of these magnificent trees, The Redwoods Otways is an unforgettable destination. Highly recommend making the trip.

definitely one of the highlights of my trip!
we went up by the south of binns rd and exited through the north, pls take note that it really is a small road, and some portions can be quite steep and winding so do drive safely.
there is also a toilet nearby

Beautiful waterfall and great short walk (3km round-trip) for family. Walkway might be wet, don't forget to bring your hiking boot.

Very beautiful spot! Free campgrounds have nice drop toilets, no running water so make sure you bring your own. Fire pits available throughout campground just BYO firewood. Reception was spotty for me but my partner had none so be prepared for disconnection (oh no....)
The views are beautiful and the hike to the falls were moderate/easy. Not an accessable track for people with mobility issues due to many steps and slopes. The views of the ranges are still very beautiful from the campground!
Very well maintained area, and in this time of year not super busy either (win win!)

Beautiful redwood forest with magnificent views of the towering redwoods. The entrance is just right by the parking area. The forest is fairly large so there’s plenty of space to take nice photos with the trees. Getting here requires driving through a narrow windy dirt road uphill. Drive carefully and be prepared to make way for vehicles from the opposite direction.

A tranquil, beautiful place to visit. The trees are massive, bring a wide angle lens when you visit! The road in is very winding and narrow, so please drive carefully. Across the road from the parking lot is a toilet. And speaking of parking lot, if it's been raining recently, it will be very muddy, so bring some car floor mats.
This place is definitely worth a visit 👍😄

Beautiful walk to the waterfall!! The serenity is real. Amazing lush bush with very tall trees and ferns alongside your walk all the way to the Falls. The sound of the creek running is so grounding!! Worth it

This place was easily accessible for all ages and abilities, probnot suitable for wheelchairs, due to the packed down leafy ground, too soft for tires.
The views are incredible, you can't look down. You feel like you are in lord of the rings set, or robin hood movie! It's cold , so wear a windbreaker. Plenty of parking. We were here april 27th 2024.
5 stars.

Serene, Relaxing and absolutely beautiful. It’s a bit of a drive up the mountains but definitely worth it. Also went to the waterfalls 2 min away from the forest and loved it!

Absolutely stunning walk and waterfall with the potential to swim. You park in the campground which has drop toilet facilities.
HOWEVER it is a steep (but beautiful) 1.5km walk down, and therefore a steep 1.5km walk back up.
There is no phone reception

Amazing and peaceful walk and the a great waterfall St the end. The ground can get a bit wet and damp. And the steps and walk is a bit steep at some places. But highly recommended.

Visited after a few days of rain, the waterfall looked great, it's a beautiful walk, fern city, streams, birds, giant old gum trees and the odd black snail. The falls are visible from a viewing platform some distance away, you can't get to the base of the falls easily if at all, (very steep and sketchy terrain, especially when wet). Track was very muddy and slippery after recent rains, so if you plan on going when wet good waterproof footwear helps. The walk is about 5km or 2.5 to 3 hrs return, little kids might struggle, middle aged overweight adults might also struggle, but with a few short rests to recover along the way it's doable. Just give yourself plenty of time and daylight.

A very pleasant walk to a lookout looking across to the Falls. Suggest an afternoon walk to get the best light on the Falls. Sign at car park is confusing, distance to the Little Aire Falls is 2.6km each way. I did the return walk, taking photos and did the circuit walk around to the Triplet Falls in 2 hrs 40 minutes, total 6.69km. From the car park, track descends steps and little aire Falls walk branches off to the left. Muddy in parts, the worst section is after the third board walk creek crossing until the track picks up an old tramway formation (c 0.8 to 1.3km) from car park. Final 1.3km is mostly on more gravelly path. About 380 m total ascent and total descent for complete trip. Beautiful forest.

Magical place. Although it's not organised the same way as the redwood forest in Warburton, I enjoy the more natural wild feel of the otways redwood forest. It's also waaaay less packed then the east side version, making it heaps easier to take uninterrupted photos. Also, the walk is a bit more adventurous and good for those with keen adventure spirit. Highly recommend for those who lose nature hikes.

Breathtaking view of the mighty trees. Good walk in there. Gravel road taking up there. Easy for 2wd as well. Good for kids and pics.

Such an impressive place and very much worth the visit. An easier place to go for a walk than the nearby waterfalls, but not any less impressive.

After a scenic drive to Beech Forest in the Otways we turned off to Hopetoun Falls and continued to the end of the sealed road to the redwood forest picnic area. The forest area may be small but the trees were mighty and the atmosphere magical -like wandering into an enchanted valley. Bubbling stream, tree ferns and silence! Li

Surrounded by spectacular native rainforest. Beautiful clear creek running next to it. No big crowds, easy access and Free entry.
Take the time, breath the fresh air and enjoy nature.
Definitely will be back.

A lovely grove of California redwoods in the middle of the Otways. A bit of a drive in to see them but we’ll worth it. We’re originally from California and visiting here felt like walking among the trees back home.

These trees grow taller than the statue of liberty. In a magical location it's easy to sit down and soak in the sheer size of these 100 meter plus tall redwoods.

It is a great place to escape city rush, especially on hot days for a fresh and cool atmosphere.
It was planted with hundreds of tall and straight Californian Redwoods. It is definitely an amazing and tranquil forest for a rest, walk, or chill out. Be prepared as it could get muddy after rain.
We normally stop by when we are in the area or on the Great Ocean Road trip.

This is wrong address!! Search for Otway Fly Treetop Adventures

This was one of those walks where I should have read the sign! It took me nearly 2.5 hours. The old wooden sign says 2.5km I think and the newer one say 4.5km but my phone tracked over 7km as a looo and in my experience this felt more accurate. It was extremely wet and I was grateful for good comfy waterproof boots. Lots of steps and reasonably difficult but well worth the view at the end. At least all the rain made for a good waterfall.

If you visiting Otway tree top, you don’t want to miss this beautiful hiking place. It’s one of the good tracks I have been too in recent times. It’s mix of a track in a beautiful and mesmerising rain forest. Walk along side the beautiful trees and lovely fauna along the way. The track is mix of both steps, highs and low pathway. Track itself is approx 2.5km long one way but it’s worth doing it and watching the amazing fall. Watch out for a weather conditions before you go for to do this hiking. Forest is pretty dense and not ideal for rainy day. On your way to fall you’ll come across few little tiny water ways which look awesome. For nature and bird lovers you will hear serine sounds of trees and birds in the background, which truly is relaxing and away from city noise. Worth giving a try and watch this magnificent water fall.

Grade 4 hike which was 5.5km (return) and takes approximately 2-2.5 hours. Extremely muddy so need shoes with good grip, but ground was pretty even with some steps. View of the waterfall was pretty.

Little Aire falls is a long walk leading up to a viewing platform from afar. You can see the waterfall really clearly from the platform but was disappointed that you could not get down closer to the waterfall. The walk involves a lot of steps but apart from that the track is not difficult. Triplet falls is also in the same area and I would recommend doing both waterfalls on the same day.

A beautiful hike, a little more challenging than Triplet Falls but some beautiful scenery along the way to make it worth while. Be sure to pick your time of day as I was there around lunch time and the sun UV made it difficult to capture photos. All in all was still impressed and would recommend

A beautiful hike with less traffic than Triplet Falls (both start from the same point in the car park). It's moderately difficult, more so than Triplet Falls - I'm unfit and had to stop a few times to catch my breath, but anyone with good or better fitness would find it easy I think! Take the time to look up at some of the massive gumtrees along the way.
Be aware that Little Aire Falls is not 2.3km return like the sign at the car park says, it's closer to 6km return. The track has a couple of forks so take a mental note of which route to return on your way back, but all up it's an easy track to navigate. A few muddy spots.
The falls are viewed from a platform and while it would be nice to get down closer to the base, the view is still absolutely beautiful. The walk itself is worth it for the thick forest.
The carpark has picnic tables, rainwater and long drop toilets.
