A very pleasant walk to a lookout looking across to the Falls. Suggest an afternoon walk to get the best light on the Falls. Sign at car park is confusing, distance to the Little Aire Falls is 2.6km each way. I did the return walk, taking photos and did the circuit walk around to the Triplet Falls in 2 hrs 40 minutes, total 6.69km. From the car park, track descends steps and little aire Falls walk branches off to the left. Muddy in parts, the worst section is after the third board walk creek crossing until the track picks up an old tramway formation (c 0.8 to 1.3km) from car park. Final 1.3km is mostly on more gravelly path. About 380 m total ascent and total descent for complete trip. Beautiful forest.
Went on a mild June day. The boat was overcrowded with the only seats being on the upper deck on the outside, while the few inside seats were either reserved for the restaurant on the upper deck. The hard wooden seats and cold wind became an endurance trial.
Also the commentary was always referring to sights on the right hand side of the boat so hard lines for those sitting on the left side.
I did wonder what might happen if rough conditions sprung up with all the passenger weight on the upper deck.
Overall very uncomfortable and overcrowded so would catch a regular ferry to Vaxland next time.
