A calm and beautiful place to watch sunset. The good thing is, it's free.
The place is amazing with beautiful boxes for nice photo shots. The wind is very strong and cold. Don't forget to bring jackets unless you want to enjoy the raw cold breeze...

This is a much improved area compared to 10 years ago I was there where it is all sand as you walk down the beach and there was no structure other than the beach bath boxes. It is a bonus that they also have toilets now apart from the decks, stairs and ramps. Not to mention the pavilion and cafe.

This is a very nice area to walk along the beach, relax and have the good old fish and chips picnic on the sand. Scenery never changed, the calm water and horizon while buildings from afar on the west side.

It was a Saturday and quite busy. I supposed it was because the area is well improved now and people have better areas to hang around plus the cafe that made it really convenient.

Parking is limited and there is a wait time and has fee. Dogs are allowed on leash. There are poo bags around.
My daughter had a really good time here. Nice weather we take lots of photos. Also, she enjoyed a soft serve 🍦 .
These interesting and lovely Bathing Boxes are what makes Brighton Beach special, took a metro train down from Melbourne Flinder’s street station at platform 13 which took around 30mins, alighting at Middle Brighton Station, after which a causal 15mins walk towards Brighton beach along some nice quiet neighbourhood. Wasn’t too crowded, got to walk along the beach to take couple of nice photos

Very nice. Was clean when I was there. Friendly people. Single gate entry rather than a double gate so you a reliant on people coming and going to make sure they don't let any dogs out

Well we were here on a cold, grey, windy morning so not one other person around. Perfect. But yes very iconic, however people spend $400,000 on them. No.
Very nice beach! It’s far from the city like everything in Melbourne abut it was by far after the great ocean road the best beach here. With palm trees on the background it has a vibe like Hollywood! I would recommend you to come here 💯

This is the absolute best park if you have dogs, especially energetic dogs! So much space for them to run around and usually plenty of other dogs around to play with. There's also two playgrounds, toilets, undercover BBQ area, skatepark and pond!

A definite must stop by tourist attractions. Beautiful beach with added colours from these bathing boxes just simply brightens up your day regardless of the timing of your visit. Pick and choose the bathing boxes of your choice and you can easily spend a good 2 hours strolling down the entire stretch of this amazing beach! Lovely boxes of memory to bring home with you with every photos taken along Brighton Bathing Boxes! It’s free, own time on target for all 😍🥰
This was a great spot to chill. Unfortunately we came when the rain was around so we stayed for no more than 30 minutes before rain came.

The private beach huts are wonderful, though some of their paints are fading, nothing like some can of paint can do the job.

The place to watch the sunset or sunrise! Also seems like the best place to fish. One lady and her kids had a few crab pots going and they have about 30 crabs in their trolly!
Would highly recommend as there isn’t many people there and the views were spectacular.

Liked the archway at the beginning of the jetty, paying respect to our fallen ones. Lest We Forget. Atmosphere was nice, a few people around, anglers out fishing 🎣. Heaps of cafes and a pretty decent bakery close by. Has some seating and a shelter along the jetty.

Brighton Jetty stands as a beloved destination for both locals and tourists alike. Its popularity is well-deserved, offering a mesmerizing view, particularly during sunset – a breathtaking spectacle if you're fortunate. The jetty's charm extends to its appeal for fishing enthusiasts, providing a tranquil spot to indulge in the hobby. However, it's essential to note that despite the allure, caution is paramount – jumping into the water is strongly discouraged. The unique blend of natural beauty, recreational opportunities, and a friendly atmosphere solidifies Brighton Jetty as a must-visit spot, promising memorable moments for all who venture there.

Brighton Jetty is a stunning spot to soak up the sun, sea, and scenery! The jetty itself is picturesque, with beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding coastline. But what really stood out to me was the attention to safety - the flooding warning bells located at the end of the jetty are a thoughtful touch, ensuring that visitors are aware of any potential dangers. Be sure to check the warning bells and stay safe while enjoying this beautiful spot!

Nice walk from Baths past all the lovely houses, obvious to spot the original ones as they're not as imposing as their neighbours. Very popular on a Sunday afternoon, lots of walkers, cyclists and dogs. Good city views too.

There today for 10k charity walk. Bizarrely don't think I'd ever really walked around this park, just driven past it multiple times. Anyway lots of beautiful greenery like all Melbourne parks have and the obligatory public art.

Great large off leash dog park! Water is right next to the playground. Available poo bags most days. Great dog owners and lovely pups. Dogs aren’t allowed off leash next to the lake.

No beach here, but there's plenty of open space, parking and a great angle of the city to enjoy the sunset.

Nice peaceful location for a stroll on the jetty. Plenty of parking on either side of jetty. Lots of locals fishing at the end of the jetty. Also good for swimming with calmer waters. Definitely worth a visit if in the area.

North road reserve is an amazing little park in a great area. There is a pier to the left with an amazing rock face to climb on. There is an amazing cafe and ice cream shop next to the park that is great. The play equipment is great for all ages and offers a shipwreck themed climbing frame. It is a great area to spend time during a sunny day.
The foreshore reserve is so fortunate to be facing the setting sun. Perfect for an afternoon by the bay.

Great area with wonderful views. Parking nearby can be a bit pricy so it's generally a good idea to park at the train station and walk over. The park is well maintained and the beachside has good views of both the Melbourne skyline and all the ships in the bay. Good spot for a picnic or relaxing walk.

Extensive reserve along the coast at Brighton Beach. Acting as a buffer between the road and the beach itself, it provides space for parking, picnics and has public toilets. Views over Port Phillip Bay are awesome and a great spot to watch the sunset. There are limited safe places to cross Beach Rd / Esplanade, your best bet is to use the lights at the South Rd intersection near Brighton Beach station.

Temporarily fully fenced which is good and there is water but it is tiny. This is because the oval is being renovated. Grumpy granny with her unsocialized poodle mix breed very haughty and unwelcoming, would be better off teaching her grandchildren to share public spaces.... because this is the only fully fenced off-leash in the whole of Bayside so it's for all types of dogs.

Went to show my Sydney friends the unique and popular Brighton Bathing Boxes and it was a beautiful day to remember. There’s construction going on so parking is limited but still accessible.
Omve they have completed the regen of the oval, it should be back to its best.
Have doubts on the contractor undertaking the correct drainage works required to stop the Nth are becoming a quagmire in Winter, and the Southern area Tree root protection works.

It was such a beautiful place with amazing views. Visited it nearly the end of sunset, but the colour of the sky was truly stunning. Watching the waves from the jetty was such a great experience. Weather was bit cold, Waves were very high and the beach was very breezy. Best place for children and families as well. This would be a surreal experience if visited at sunrise or sunset!

Great views of the city and Brighton bathing boxes. The trail extends from Mordialloc to Port Melbourne, some of the bike path is shared with pedestrians so care needs to be taken particularly on weekends with fine weather as many people don't look as they enter the path. I ride on different parts of the path 4 - 5 times a week.

The weather was really pleasant and the place is really decent to move around. As I did got some pictures but unfortunately it was a high tide day and waves were hitting the foot of the beach. So we didn’t explored much on this beach but if the day is quite suitable you can definitely take good pictures here.
We had picnic on the cliff edge and it was so lovely. The views are gorgeous and you can see the city skyline from there in the distance. It can get pretty windy and cold so take a jacket. It seems like a great spot for wind surfing as there were plenty of people doing that. There's lots of parking and a few benches for seating.

Fine walk. No shelter if the weather goes bad, and no way to get a car to half of the trail in an emergency. Barring any person with special needs is a totally fine walk.

A beautiful shaded area to start your trip down the Bay Trail.
There is ample ticket parking - not free and a bit expensive. You can use the Easypark App to make sure you get the right amount of time parking. Very simple to use.

Beautiful view. Not far from Dendy St and Brighton Beach and the Brighton Bathing Boxes.

Fabulous park for those with young kids and a dog to exercise. Two playgrounds with toilet facilities and water fountains, large green spaces (2 ovals) to exercise the pooch. For older kids there's also a skate park on the other side of a very pretty lake. If dog owners were more vigilant about picking up after their pets the green space would make a nice sports space as the grass is very well kept. I think there were bbq and covered picnic spaces as well.

Amazing Huge open grass area, that is Great for Dogs. Quaint little ponds to admire the water life. Enclosed playground on one side, and open playground on the other. Great Skate park. This place has it All. (Only 1 toilet tho)
It's a worthy addition to any visit to Elwood. *8vD
Avid frisbee thrower - so the cricket disrupts that a bit (sucks for us, great for the cricket players).

Council taking the gates off (I forget the reason) makes keeping an eye on your dog a must.

Otherwise fantastic place to go and relax, generally quiet.

Beautiful green park and one of the best off leash dog parks in the area! There's a few sports areas and a pleasant lake to walk around. It's quite busy during certain times, but the park is expansive so there's plenty of space. Brilliant park to take your dog, with lots of dogs to socialise and plenty of space to run around. Two gated children's playgrounds at each side of the park, wth plenty of benches and a toilet block.

Beautiful luscious Green Park. Quite big for a good run around and play a sport or with the dog. Dog friendly with poop bags around but didn't see any water bowls. Nice lake and a couple of kids playgrounds around.

📌Great place to do your daily exercise .
Always clean and safe .
Great views looking over the foreshore .
The only thing is parking is very expensive unless you have a Bayside parking permit. Just beware of parking inspectors they seem to find you when you're go to get a ticket . 🎫🚗
🚻There are toilets around .
Apart from that if you need to get yourself motivated it's a great place to be .

A great trail by the Bay. There’s a walking track and a cycling track. Great views of the city. Lots of places to stop and explore.
This used to be a great place for dogs as it was fully fenced but now some gates are missing. Also it is now football and cricket, the pavilion has been upgraded. Couldn't actually use the park as football was just about to start. Was much nicer 10 years ago.

Growing up means to get to know yourself better, be more honest with yourself and in most occasions, familiar with the things that make you feel good.
I love this trail. First-line to the water, many magical spots in the way. You can grab a coffee, walk, run, enjoy the view, meditate or just be. As always in amazing Melbourne, it is well maintained and free.
Great dog park with a fully fenced enclosure.
There were a few other dogs there today, all friendly and good for our dog to get to know. The fence around the oval is great as it guarantees that the dogs can't get onto the roads.

The only dog park in middle Brighton. Initially I thought it was a good fenced area until my dog ran out of the gate, which is the only open gap of the fence, because there werr people playing basketball outside attracted my puppy to the other side.
Watch out and be carefully about the gap!
There can be some big dogs bullying small dogs which is hard to control.
Council should make some effort to close the opening of the fence and include a small dog area just like The Wedge dog park in Caulfield.

Otherwise there isn’t any good place for small dog in this area.

Great place to take your fur babies to socialise with others. There is a big bulldog group that generally heads down there on a Saturday morning around 10am. The only real issues with the park is the cricket teams that seem to be taking over and the lack of bins available around the park. Other than that the place is perfect.

Love this park. The white picketed cricket/footy oval turns into the best dog park in Brighton ... lots and lots of friendly dogs and even friendlier owners, beautiful surface and lots of parking. Kids can play on small basketball court or on the slides etc. This is the best place to bring your 4 legged friend for a run and a catch up with the other canine characters in the area. Highly recommended!!
