Nice park nestled in the upper right corner of Westchester County. The main lakes were "drained", I assume for maintenance (dredging) (11/23). The trail blazes are well marked.
The park is used as a Summer Camp for disadvantaged city kids- no availability during these months may be an issue. Definitely a place to explore in the spring
After looking for a venue that fit our vibe as an outdoorsy couple, we cannot be happier we chose Mountain Lakes Park for our wedding.
First of all, the staff couldn’t possibly be nicer. Taro, Heidi, Diana, Paul — we adore you guys! You made everything so easy and we are so grateful.

Location-wise: The Spruce Lake campus could not be any more gorgeous and all encompassing. The dining hall is what dreams are made of! An industrial kitchen and gorgeous huge windows?!
The boathouse and lake area are incredible with the treeline. The pavilions were perfect for our welcome party and breakfast send off. And the yurt village!! The ability to have our guests stay over and to do a campfire after was magical!

Seriously, such a unique park for a unique wedding. We cannot wait to keep coming back here to recreate and celebrate anniversaries. ♥️ 11/10.

Great park, several trails and nice hills. Also several smaller lakes. Free!

Tallest point in Westchester county
Great place to hike!!
Loved this place. Our campsite was awesome, we got rained out and were very lucky to have a lean-to to stay under. It was so gorgeous and inexpensive and I would love to come back. Very peaceful and quiet in the morning.

First time here and it was absolutely gorgeous. Lots of lashes and streams. Roads and trails are well maintained. I'm sure it'll get much busier when people start camping there but today it was so quiet and nice.

It’s a beautiful setting to go anytime of the day. It has many trails and camping facilities . Beautiful look out point and gets very crowded on weekends. I like it on week days ...check before you go on their opening times .

Views so nice I forgot about my sorrows. A+++
This is a family review: it is a nice place to hike with good variety of paths, that are well marked, very good for beginners. Due to COVID-19 the campground was closed but the park was open to hikers, and it was very quiet during a weekday in July. We saw many frogs and a snake🐍.
There are two beautiful lakes with easy hiking trails around them. If you're careful, there is also plenty of wild life to see, from newts, frogs and occasional crawfish to turtles and water snakes.
