Went on a hot day to find that all the shade sails have been removed so the ground was very hot to walk on. I have been told by the council that the shade sails will be put back up in early November so I would avoid on hot days until then.
Additionally the Splash pad currently doesn’t not work (no water)

Great spot for any occasion. Good facilities that are nicely maintained. Lots of grass under the trees for young ones to enjoy themselves.
The parking is somewhat limited so if you are planning to take ones who cannot walk very far or who have limited mobility, might be a good idea to get in early.

This playground was amazing! Can cater to young toddlers as well as elder children. Plus points - playground area was gated & had toilets within playground compound. Lots of picnic dining tables & benches (covered and uncovered) and water taps/faucets around making it easier to settle down here for meals while your child plays.

A rare peaceful oasis that breaks up endless suburbia.
Take a leisurely approximate 6 km walk around the entire lake. Excellent public facilities and an obvious commitment to preserve this natural jewel.

Great for walk and plenty space for kids to play.

Such a great playground to take the kids with activities for every age and so much space surrounded by nature. There are also plenty of picnic benches and tables, toilets on site and parking available. Occasionally there is a coffee van, my only comment would be that the coffee van be permanent!

Good spot for bird watching, nature walk .

Ohhhh please fill up lake. The birds need you. I take my little dog here a couple of times a week. I love the tree's and meeting other dog lovers. Great picnic spot and so grateful for the coffee van there.

My place of peace and happiness, unfortunately lake has dried up so hopefully it will rain. What has happened to the cafe ect the cockburn council was going to build

Lovely place and good walks. This time of year thought there’s not much ”Lake”

Fantastic spot! Great place to go for a run, take the kids to a playground or have a family bbq!

The best park ever, ample parking, toilets close, water stations, and the view of the lake is awesome, plenty of shade, grassed areas and tables and chairs, we spent a few hours there kids loved it, take a towel & baters or change of clothes as there is some water fun too

The playground is beside the bibra lake and very awesome. Kids will love it. Great place to have family and kids get together, friends- family meetups. The playground has a lots of benches and barbecue stations. For kids there is a combination of swings, slides, climbers etc. play areas are secured by safety play materials and sand.
There are sculptures based on turtle life cycle which I felt is a very important way of reminding people specially kids importance of turtle conservation project.
The park has two entrances to the park and has plenty of parking space.

I’ve been to many parks around Perth, but also around Melbourne and the Sunny Coast and this one is hands down the best one ever. Is for every age, safe games, surrounded with nature and lots of shade. BBQ and tables available to have a bite while your little monkey swings and jumps around. Super clean toilets and even has WIFI.

What a great little playground! Plenty of shade, CCTV, fully fenced, bbq's, toilets and even a coffee and hot food/ice cream vendor out the front.
The playground is safe, clean, and really caters to kids and toddlers of all abilities.

I spend a couple of hours walking around the lake stopping at various areas, with my nephew in tow in a pram.
The Northern area has little trails that go through the bush and a couple that head onto the bird hides on the lake.
The Eastern side has a nice and fairly large skate park which also has a small playground attached to it.
The Southern end has a bit more grassy area to run around in and a little golf practice area. This end also has the ice skating rink as well as an entrance to Adventure World.
The West side has nice views of the lake as well as a really large playground. There is a smaller playground next to a grassy area a bit further south as well. This is probably a good side if you have kids that have the energy to burn.
BBQ facilities are located around the lake and it was quite a nice stroll. Lots of wildlife around the area which was nice and exciting to see. There are also a few "stools" located around the lake which you are able to rest if the benches are full. It is a nice place to exercise and just take in some nature.
