My son had fun feeding and seeing the animals. They ONLY accept cash, which is a little bit of a pain. The animals are fun to interact with - though I couldn't help but feel like something wasn't right. The ostriches seemed distressed. The giraffe was very sweet but it's enclosure just seems so small. I was ignored/blown off by workers there when I pointed out that there was POISON IVY in several spots in the playground area - and again when I pointed out one of their little birds had an injured foot. Also, it is VERY expensive.
A beautifully designed place that is well maintained and has lots of fun things for kids of various ages to do! Can easily spend 5 hours here. It is a little pricey as you have to pay for additional animal feed and excursions. But I believe it allows them the ability to upkeep the place and have it looking so good and clean. In short, love this place and will definitely be returning!
Although initially surprised at the price of admission, I must say that seeing the excitement and joy on my grandchildren's faces was well worth it. The extra costs of feeding the animals, the pony rides, the milk bottles for the baby goats-all added up. So, a bit pricey overall. However, all staff was welcoming, pleasant and professional. Everything appears to be well maintained and the animals cared for. I would recommend White Post Farms as a special family activity.
Fun farm. You can buy animal feed with quarters. There is a change machine inside. I went on a rainy day and the staff were very nice. They offered to reschedule our tickets but we decided to stay, and luckily, the rain stopped soon after. The giraffe exhibit is a must-go.

It’s was great. It’s small but kids will love it. I think the price was right due to the fact you get to be up close and feed them. But it’s CASH a ONLY. If the kids want to ride it’s paid separately. Over all my 5 yrs love it .

Nice
Trail is pretty isolated and not well marked. You will come across abandoned cars and household items. Easy to get turned around because the trails criss-cross. #urbandecay
A wonderful place to be... My son loved it and wants to visit again. Great place to spend all day with various activities. The only thing is that this place is all cash.... luckily, I had some the day i visited. But overall, it was a great experience .....
Land owners do not permit access from SE
My son is a animal lover so I take him to a lot of animal farms but this farm was different than all the others. It was very spacious and clean farm, interiors are beautiful, the staffs are very friendly. There was a magic show that was awesome. Wish the train ride was open. The Giraffe experience was the best. Absolutely loved it……..highly recommend it!
My son absolutely loves this place. We have been coming here for years. We’ve had his birthday here. The fall festival is great, they have pumpkin picking, hay rides and open concession stands. I recommend coming in the morning when they open, that’s when the animals are hungriest.

This is a great all ages park with a playground that encourages different kinds of movement and multiple tennis/pickleball courts nearby.
I went on a beautiful Sunday afternoon recently and NO ONE was parked in the lot; a security vehicle nearby drove to where my car was and waited there. I was only on the path into the conservation area for maybe 2 minutes and came back to hear that my car would be ticketed by police and that the area was "Hot." What's going on there? Regardless, I did not get a great feeling about the place and won't be back.
Nice trail, some interesting and creepy things you come across during the hike, one of the many reasons I love the woods.

Up from Florida. Nice little park with a nice set-up. Played pickleball with some excellent players today. 3 stars for the porta pot ( too nice a set-up - needs a real bathroom)and one of the new pickleball courts already has a crack right acoss the court.
I have been here a few times and its a fun place. If you loke animals or farm stuff this is a good place. You can feed some animals, there is a playground for kids, a gift shop and more. Highly recommended for a school trip or a family day. The staff here is very nice and accommodating. I would definitely go back.

Such a cute park. I wish they have slides attached to regular steps. The 2 available slides require your child to have good climbing skills and an understanding of safe upper body strentgh. Otherwise, nicely designed and great swings. The playground is all padded. Plus, there is a tennis court, a walking track and some other amenities. The nature around it makes you feel inside a like tree fortress.
Just eh 🤷🏻‍♂️ no good for mountain biking although there are a couple of cool beginner trails hidden deep inside. also, is there a legitimate parking for this place? i had to basically sneak into the office plaza!

Very nice park in a quiet and safe area. Perfect for a lunch picnic (I did exactly that). The playground is spacious and has 3 different play areas for children of all ages, I love the additional smaller playground for the little ones (my guess would be ages 2-4). There are picnic tables located at the park as well with trash can in close distance! I would also recommend this park for taking photos in nature, family outings and just a quick getaway for a few hours for those who like to sit in nature. I enjoyed my visit and loved how friendly the women were, nowadays people usually keep contact very limited and maintain a certain distance so that felt great! Not a busy park at all. Highly recommend!

Update: still a beautiful park but court three now has a large crack that needs repair.

Just experienced this park for the first time. Very well maintained and lovely park for Huntington residents Beautiful playground for children, outdoor weight arena, tennis and pickleball courts. Also has area for checkers and chess. Portable restroom. Love this park... Will definitely be back

Nice park. Tennis courts have a few small cracks, nets were good, could be tighter. Lots of people, might have been game night!? Definitely going visiting again.
Serene, lots of trails. I didn't see one person when I walked here for an hour. Easy parking at a complex next door right next to the trail.

A cute, small lovely park! Clean and neat, the park offers a little something for many people. Playground, basketball court, tennis court, pickleball courts, walking path, large open field, exercise equipment. Very impressed with how this place is laid out.
It's an ok wooded area to go to, for about an hour walk. Lots of bugs, though, compared to some other wooded trails. There's a large open field with a huge tower, at one end of the park, and I wasn't sure what that was, as it didn't show the name of it on the maps. Otherwise, not bad, not amazing, just alright.

I love this park. It's got a pond, it's pretty quiet, it has cool power lines, there's lot of hills. I love it.

A nice, quaint park with multiple good tennis courts, and a basketball court, along with a large playground. There is also a part of the park dedicated to Anne Frank... it’s like a mini museum in a sense. Worth visiting for sure, even just to see the “mini museum”.

Weird space in residential neighborhood, back of some houses, not any lengthy trails, too many buggs!!
Pine Ridge has many paths most of them sandy but not necessarily if you go off the beaten path of which there are many. The narrowest paths are not on All Trails current map. Entrance is off a large parking lot. There's also a paved quarter mile path/track on the north side. It's on the other side of a black fence where the wrecked car is(see photo). The track looks to be part of a hospital relaxation area. It's well groomed with multiple benches. Back to the trail: it can be buggy in spots(mostly face fleas) and if you're on the sandy/pebbly trails and they're steep, there's a lot of erosion which makes them a bit challenging to traverse. Almost all paths are clear but none are marked so make sure you use a map app. Have fun!

Decent enough
I remember when this was a farm owned by very nice people. Now its a quiet park with lovely sunsets. Plenty a room to just sit and have a coffee at dusk. It's not that far away from a Starbucks for that matter. I keep forgetting to take pics when I go to these places I hope this one is enough.

Very nice pocket-park with tennis and basketball courts, workout machines (that predominantly use your own weight as a counterbalance to target certain muscles), playground, & a short trail lined with seasonally ever changing perennial plantings. Services the Tuxedo Hills area of Melville. Pristine compared to other neighborhood boutique parks on Long Island.

Be careful on parking!- There's no signs here on parking and they aren't consistent. If parking at night or on weekend's they choose what time they want to open and close the gates. If your vehicle is parked when they choose to close you will get a ticket. The town has no answer for why parking violations are being given here since there's nothing on the website or physically at the park that states parking hours.

Has a tennis court, basketball court, wall to play wall ball, and a baseball field. Also a space to set up a volleyball net. Their playground is a nice size with monkey bars, swings, a tire swing, and slides. It has a nice size parking lot but I don't like the fact there is no parking lines to really space out cars. It can be tricky when there's a big crowd there. Also no bathrooms!! This is why I couldn't give 5 stars.

I visited this park yesterday because it was included in a local trail guide. Although I knew from the description that the park was relatively small, the guide said that the park was laid out in a loop, so I thought I could just walk around it several times to get my daily exercise. No such luck. There is no trail (unless you consider trampled down grass in a field to be a trail). Also, you're forced to walk in a baseball field part of the time and would definitely get in the kids' way if a game was on. It took me about 7 minutes to walk the entire park.

Bottom line -- if you want to bring your kids to a playground or if you want to o play tennis, basketball or baseball you'll probably like this park. If you're going there for a walk or hike, you'll be very disappointed.
