It's big, it's beautiful, it relaxing in some parts but the have no signs or maps or brochures and you really don't know all that park has to offer. Finding anything or anywhere can be really frustrating and many of the entrances/exits were closed when I was there. If you wanna enjoy the boat ride to Marco Plaza, find expedition Amazonia. You can show the pic to staff member and ask for help. The place is massive. Bicycles are recommended but I walked. Have fun 😊

Fundidora park is on the grounds of an old foundry, converted to a beautiful public place. There are plenty of things to do, all day. You can rent a bicycle (or bring your own) and ride the long trail around the park. There is a small lake where pedal-boats can be rented to explore the lake. This is a popular public park and always well-attended. The walk ways are in pretty good condition for walking or biking. This is a great place to relax and spend an afternoon.

Great for family get together, has Riverwalk to downtown Monterrey, you can walk the length (1.3 mi) or take a little boat that gives you facts along the way...

Beautiful and huge park with lots to do. There is room for skating, roller blading, biking, walking, and exercising. You are able to rent bikes as well. It is a family-friendly park and also great for a date night. They also have small boat rides, a restaurant to eat, and vendors selling fresh drinks. If you go on a weekend they have even more vendors selling all kinds of food, snacks, and other items.

I totally loved it. I really think this is the best park I've ever been to. I wish every city and town had one. It's full of lanes for a nice walking, or biking, or skating. It has several museums, exhibitions, night life. It's carefully guarded, I visited it with my daughter and I feel I need at least one more visit to try to get the most out of it. You will definitely need a lot of time, comfortable shoes and lots of energy. It feels endless, but it's totally worth it. This video is the last thing I took before leaving the park.
Está enfrente del palacio municipal y de la calle Morelos.
Nice small history museum with several art exhibitions

Great place for families, plenty to do with the kiddos. Just to walk or bike in the vast areas. I stayed at a nearby hotel, and this place was within walk in distance

It is an impressive structure in the middle of town with access to multiple activities (museums, theater). There is always a pretty view to enjoy.

Walked along the river front. Visited the Steel Museum. Very interesting and informative displays about Monterrey's association with the steel industry. Friendly and helpful staff and volunteers.
I loved this musem!! Lots of information and lovely displays!! It's great if you have children in basic and middle school, there's lots of info they can reaffirm from school!! Few interactive displays, lots of security guards, some guides that can explain with detail (and funny anecdotes) the displays and history!!
The museum was extra nice, very clean and well kept, even the bathrooms. We visited on a Tuesday which turns out entrance is free!! Also on sundays, but on Tuesdays there is very few people, even on summer break, at least that was the day we visited and it was what we were looking for. The AC was heavenly because outside was an scorching 108°F or 42°C, not a cloud in sight and because the huge park outside doesn't have a lot of vegetation, everything gets really hot and the floor is like a frying pan radiating heat!!! The person at the reception or ticketing spot was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful!!
Conected by a bridge is the Museo del Noreste, very easy to access, I loved the different "chamber like" feeling of it but there was more written displays than artifacts so if you have young children it might get a little tedious.
We spent about two hours on these museums. I don't know if they have parking but there is a lot of parking garages around that go for $15 to $25 MXP pesos per hour ($0.75 cents to $1.25 USD per hour).
Beautiful church. I loved it.

Much better than I expected. Not big but well-curated. The pre-Hispanic room has some impressive pieces but the models of major pyramid sites in Mexico placed side by side is even better. And the Gallery of Castes (18th century categorization of ethnicity and race) is mind-blowing. Interesting temporary exhibits as well.

my... opinion is ambiguous at best. a. I think it is... let me say, cute, plainly.

the boat ride is a bit... disappointing. Brief... and there is not much to enjoy for the price... perhaps, this opinion changes at night when the illumination changes the view drastically. albiet... the boat gets annoyingly packed. AND... at night it gest uncomfortable insecure.

The museums... well, not espectacular !

The macro plaza... it is only a huge esplanade with little to offer to the eye. It is... just that, an esplanade to walk Nd walk around.

the flea market stands... well, well, well, ... (three dots)

perhaps... at night, in terms of visual attraction to photography 📸, it changes a bit. Yet... at some points it is i secure.

Enormous, beautifully landscaped park & sculpture garden with paved passthroughs and canals with bridges offering carnival and boat rides, a zoo, an industrial museum with ride, and market stands to access other parts of the city without having to drive. No dogs allowed inside, but they are allowed outside where there are still nice walkways and shops by the station.

Beautiful beautiful park and i definitely recommend take a little boat tour along the river. It has an interesting history as well. You will find fruits in a cup and Aguas fescas everywhere to stay hydrated😌✨
I went on a Tuesday afternoon, as it is free on Tuesdays. The museum was great, the permanent exhibits walk you through Mexico in chronological order. There are pottery, paintings, models(maquetas), textiles, and interactive exhibits. You can go in the train and watch a video.
A truly impressive modern museum about Mexican history. We went there on Sunday and happened to be free of admission, inexpensive $20 pesos on regular days.

Macroplaza is an enormous park located at Monterrey's heart, it's downtown!! Just enormous!! This Macroplaza is on the 4th place between the biggest ones around the world.

Great for a Sunday afternoon, though i definitely recommend bringing a hat, and a blanket for the grass. Along with that I brought a book and some water to help me combat the heat. If you find a nice shady spot though the wind is really nice, there are also multiple stands selling food and beverages.

Nice starting point if you want to see this city. We walked around the plaza and followed the water cannel all the way to the park (Parque Fundidora). It took about 2 hours but you can see very nice scenery and feel blent in the local’s life.

Malísima organización a la hora de pagar solo tienen un cajero y la persona que está de planta no quiere cobrar te manda a la máquina demasiado ineficiente su sistema de cobro, además de que les falta demasiada iluminación
I was all excited about this museum when I moved here almost 2 years ago. It's definitely a must if you are in the area and love museums.
From an archeologist point of view:
They keep it clean and neat. Some pieces have translation, and we can see some parts of pre-hispanic times. Most of it has colonialism and some industrial pieces.
Tuesdays and Sundays are free admission (we love that). Includes main museum, museum of North region and the main government building.
I don't like the amount of wasted space they have. Some sections that are new don't have the marketing besides the sign next to the museum. There's a whole bridge where there could be a great potential for "copies" of other pieces from other museums in Mexico.
As I mention a lot of waste of space.
They should have more clases or better ways to attract the youth to our history and more.
There are a few ways to work/volunteer here. Either way, it is too hard, which it shouldn't.
I feel blessed every time I go there_ Blessed be God 🙏🕯️🇲🇽🕊️
If you go to Monterrey, visit the Basilica of Guadalupe, it is beautiful and you can see the Blessed Virgin. additional there are businesses in front to buy souvenirs and meals 100 recommended
Beautiful church. It is always a very pleasant experience to visit la virgencita.
Nice place to relax and experience the local natives in their environment. Plenty of street food vendors, e entertainment & Parks for the children. Not to mention the beautiful river walk that can take you on a tour and sightsee in style.

I had so much fun walking in, with Hitler and Jesus in the same room. It was an amazing experience. Some of the figures looked nothing like the actual celebrities but it was fun to laugh at. & then there were some that looked very real! When you walk in, it explains the process and inspirations behind everything. I went on a Monday, no line and barely anyone inside, it was peaceful. We couldn’t take videos which sucks but you can take pictures without flash.
Nothing much to look around
It is a beautiful place, the place is clean and the food around there ir cheep too
First time I was there, u can find religious souvenirs, tipycal candies, ice-cream. Very nice construction.
Because My mother born 27 of November 1918 was baptist there January 1919 and named Basilia for being the first girl to be baptized in BASILICA...my perperous for my visit find record

Nice experience if you want to kill some time in the afternoon.
Must-visit for connoisseurs of art, history and culture!
I spent around 3 hours at the museum and there were still many nuances that I missed!

Entry for adults is 40pesos, and there is discounted rate for students. The ticket grants access to all three museums in the complex: Mexican history museum, museum of northeast(mexico) and the palace museum. Tuesdays and Sundays are free entry days!

Very well-curated museum with interactive components, diorama, etc. My only barrier in some exhibits was the lack of bilingual (English and Spanish) information placards.

The exhibit with ivory work is exquisite, and the entire top floor of the museum transports the viewer to various parts of Mexico.

Great place to expend valuable time with the family and kids

Nice for 🐕 dog walks
Great foliage!
Smaller and more charming version of the La Villa de Guadalupe in Mexico City
Love the building and what happens in there.
It is a real pity and shame, one of the oldest buildings in a city in almost ruin. Worst case is a Museum. I have to be honest that is the rate for the building, is not about the museum . However I must say that is quite small

Les falta vocación de servicio. Lo anteponen frente a las estructuras.
So nice, but very small for events as a wedding
Bellisimo
Lots of shade.
A beautiful Church to visit if you are a devoted believer. It is surrounded by typical Mexican free market. Not the safest for sure but it is not too dangerous either. It is better to go by car and park on the church's parking lot.
Nice place to stay for a while with kids and family
Nice park to Walk around.
Cozy... ideal for small audience. Great for baptism and weadings
Blessings
Peace, tranquility and beauty can be experience here, amid the city
Is a very cozy historical Museum
Let me start by saying that, generally speaking, the people of Monterrey are brilliant, kind, curious people. My wife and I have visited 15 museums in Monterrey. Yes we love museums! We have enjoyed every single one..... Except this one and it is due to a very rude worker at the desk working on July 24. I am not sure why he had such an attitude with us just because we wanted to take a picture of the court yard or were wondering about the statue and the flame you could see from the entrance of the museum or an attitude about many other things. Plus 95 percent of the museum was closed.... Any way I highly recommend that some staff training occur here because there is absolutely no reason to receive the attitude and rudeness that my wife and I got and as of now we will not go back, why, when Marco or Horno is just so much better with nicer staff?

It's next to Horno and at lot of other interesting things to see and do. Some of the wax figures look like they have seen better days. I think I paid too much for what I got to see.
Museum at old City Hall Monterrey. There's different expositions at second story, first floor has brief history of the establishment of the city. No cost, a visit to this museum will take from 30min to an hour and a half to go through everything.
Beautiful neigborhood. With everything you could look for. From shopping to eating. Looking for a gym or good time. You won't be disappointed.

Good place for one time visit. The $100 entry fee is not worth the size of place
It used to be Monterrey’s majors office but it is now a regional museum.
