We had Pamela (Pam) as our instructor and she/this experience was fantastic! Myself and my partner had way more fun than we thought we would as first time flyers and felt totally safe the whole time. Pam was a great instructor and we hope we see her again when we return next time. Thanks guys! So much fun 😁.

Today was absolutely magical for our two boys, aged 4 and 9. We can’t thank the team enough for creating such an unforgettable experience. A huge shoutout to Jason and Steve, who were absolutely incredible with the kids, especially our youngest. Their patience, encouragement, and expertise made it possible for him to achieve something extraordinary at such a young age.

Our boys have been on cloud nine ever since and can’t stop talking about how amazing it felt to “fly.” This was truly the best experience we could have hoped for, and it’s all thanks to the amazing instructors who made it so special.

From two very grateful and happy parents – thank you! We’ll be next!

We had an incredible time at iFLY Indoor Skydiving! The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the environment was fun and vibrant, making it perfect for families. We booked the family package, which included flights for each flyer. The experience itself was exhilarating—truly a unique adventure!

However, each flight was barely a minute long, which felt a bit too short for the price. While it was exciting, I think adding an extra flight per person would enhance the experience. For instance, a three-flight package would be ideal: one trial flight to learn and feel the movement, followed by two flights to fully enjoy and explore the experience.

Overall, it’s a fantastic activity, and we made unforgettable memories, but a bit more flight time would make it even better!

Fun and Thrilling Experience at iFly Gold Coast

I had an amazing time at iFly Gold Coast! If you’re interested in daring activities like skydiving but aren’t quite ready for the real thing, iFly is the perfect choice. The experience is safe, easy to breathe in, and there’s no overwhelming air pressure. Plus, the instructors are incredibly helpful and make the whole process enjoyable.

My instructor, Pam, was fantastic—she guided us with confidence and made flying so much fun. I highly recommend adding the Freefall experience for an extra thrill, and don’t forget to get some great snaps to capture the moment!

It was also inspiring to see how much fun small children were having, even daring to try extra flights.

Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and a must-try when you’re in Gold Coast. Highly recommend!

Was so much fun and better experience than I expected. Our instructor was very helpful and he showed us cool stunt. I was hanging for my life but it was all worth it❤️lol
I was scared because it was my first flight but I ended up enjoying it, and the instructor was so good. Loved it and will definitely come back🥰

We had a group of 9, 4 adults and 5 children and absolutely loved our Aquaduck experience.
Tracy was absolutely amazing, interacted with the kids brilliantly and made the whole experience a real sight seeing feel good tour. John was amazing too letting the kids take the wheel and not pressuring them to do anything they didn’t want to do.
Highly Highly recommend.
Thank you
What an awesome Aquaduck experience we had with our family over from New Zealand. John & Tracey what an awesome team of people as Driver and M C for our trip very great sense of humour from Tracey made for quite a few laughs. Kids loved there time up front behind the wheel with John who was great with them. Great experience had by all Highly recommend an Aquaduck experience to all. 🥰
Lovely place for a seniors lunch. Great value for money. Roast lamb dinner was excellent.
Visited with family 2nd time after 7 years. It’s a fun experience, although we at times knew what to expect. Got the family ticket, which offers some discount, but still for a family of 4, it is not inexpensive. Will recommend for someone trying first time.

Staff is friendly. Maze is OK. We went there with kids 8 & 16yo. We encountered another group of teens in the middle of our way. They used a very colourful language to describe there emotions, which was not a very good educational experience for my kids. Another person, probably staff member, was using a mobile phone flash light, moving in the opposite direction, so he ruined all atmosphere as well. I do not recommend to go there, unless you had a few alcohol shots before.

Enjoyable experience. Friendly staff in the booking office and on the Duck. Plenty of duck jokes. We were lucky to get tickets at the last moment due to the Competition’s Duck breaking and cancelling our booking. Turns out this is the original and longest running on the Gold Coast with 3 ducks.

Once I had the chance to try out a boat tour around the city, and they recommended various significant landmarks and places to visit.

When we disembarked, there was a photo booth available, which was great for kids to take pictures.

This trip was quite suitable for kids because they let them take pictures pretending to be the captain, and the kids even received certificates and stickers.

Secret park as we never noticed it ever since we move to Queensland, but full of surprises as the kids are enjoying their time close to the nature, many birds leaving in the peace place especially we first time saw the little peacock, great place!
I love this place. The weather was just perfect for us on that day. And the name says it all, there's great waves for those who like surfing. Along the beach, there's red/yellow flags indicating where you can swim in order to avoid strong sea current. They also have life guards monitoring the place.

Had loads of fun with the family.
Take your time and enjoy each room otherwise you'll be through it before you know it. We've been a couple of times before but enjoyed revisiting now the kid's are a bit older.
I did the glow worm cave tour and it was so good. I went to the day tour and I wonder if a night tour is excessive but it wasn’t. Our tour guide, Adam was really lovely, helpful, knowledgeable and funny. He spotted every single smallest movement in the dark Forrest and showed us which I thought was very impressive! He’s also a good story teller, great personality and I thought he picked the right career for himself. The “mystery cake” was such a nice , standout touch to the night tour and I am so glad i had the unforgettable memory of a lifetime 😊! ❤️.
Amphibious vehicle. Awesome experience. The trip takes about 1,5hrs in total. Staff are very entertaining. Vehicle is well equipped. Value for money. You must do it. Good family outing.
We loved being tourists in our own backyard even on an overcast GC a day. We had a curious pod of dolphins swimming around the boat for at least 5 minutes which the captain slowed and let them do their thing and everyone had a chance to get photos - it was very exciting for the big and little kids. From start to finish the staff were helpful and had a good sense of humour. Shout out to Captain Chris and Tour Guide Sophie - thank you both!

What a wacky and fun experience! Takes about 30-40 mins to get through the various rooms, many of which are in pitch-black darkness. Lots of interesting lights and trippy spaces! I'd recommend wearing sneakers or fully-enclosed shoes, as I wore sandals and almost lost one in the bouncy floor! That being said, it was very fun and exciting. Had lots of laughs with my fiance while trying to move through the mirror maze!
Just do it! Margie and John were our guides and they were both fantastic. I highly recommend this tour for any age. I went solo and I had a lot of fun, as an adult travelling without children I was a but reticent I might feel overwhelmed by what seemed to be sold as a "families experience" but I enjoyed every minute of it. They are very professional at every step of the way. It's a lot ot fun.
Amazing nice market next to the beach. There are a lot of stall holders and so many interesting stuff. My family loved them all, and even the rain couldn't stop us . The market will be operating on Wednesday and Friday from 4 to 9pm every week.
Over the years, the market has grown. You still have the same stalls as before, but every now and then new ones arrive.
The Oceanfront location is a plus and can draw large crowds during peak times.
The only drawback is that I wish there were food trucks at each end, which would definitely result in an extra star rating.

Kinda wierd but kinda fun! Plenty of value as the rooms went on for ages. I think I would prefer to go at night so my eyes are more adjusted to the dark at the beginning as there are lots of fun dark areas. Some a little scary, some a little trippy, and some a little lacklustre. But overall solid, definitely worth checking out if you get the superpass

Me and my partner went on a week night, and it was relatively quiet which was nice. This was a really cool experience, and quite different to any I've done before. Some of the rooms can be a bit of a sensory overload, but very unique attraction.
A great place for the kids. Took my grandchildren to the Gold Coast Council sponsored learn to Kyak activity and water play. Fantastic insrructors and organisers. A picturesque place to enjoy family holiday time.
The bustling marketplace features a plethora of local and non-local merchants, creating a delightful and vibrant atmosphere. Positioned right in the heart of Surfer's Paradise, the market is a diverse hub offering a wide array of products, including delectable food, intricate jewelry, stylish clothing, captivating art, playful kids' toys, and much more. This lively market is a recurring event, taking place three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Famous Street in Surfers Paradise
Incredible variety of businesses and products. We did a few laps to make sure we didn't miss anything! You can tell it is set up so professionally. All the stall holders were really friendly. It didn't get too crowded and it was beautiful being right next to the gorgeous beach. Can't wait to go back.

This was great. They recommended not to take our 4yo, but he absolutely loved it. I would recommend you keep the younger kids close to you, as a few rooms are dark and a bit scary. I feel they have upgraded it since we came years ago. It was not too crowded even though we went while schoolies were visiting.
Exploring the diverse range of products and observing people trying them was a delightful experience. However, I found it to be somewhat costly. I visited on a Wednesday, and I noticed that around 2-3pm, the vendors began setting up their stands. Despite the expense, the ambiance and preparations were indeed beautiful.
This tranquil and picturesque location offers a serene alternative to the lively Surfers Paradise beach.

With its calm waters, shaded parkland, and overall peaceful atmosphere, Budds Beach is ideal for those seeking relaxation, picnics, or simply basking in the scenic beauty of the Gold Coast.

It's a wonderful spot to catch a beautiful sunset or enjoy a lazy afternoon by the Nerang River. The beach provides a beautiful setting for rest and sunbathing, and it's an excellent place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a meal.

Whether you're looking for a quiet escape, a scenic spot to unwind, or a lovely place to enjoy some refreshments, Budds Beach is a delightful destination.
These markets offer a unique and enjoyable shopping and entertainment experience that draws locals and tourists alike. The markets typically operate on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday evenings, providing a perfect way to spend a leisurely evening.

What stands out about these markets is the diversity of products available. From handmade crafts and jewelry to fashion items, artwork, and souvenirs, you'll find a wide array of unique goods from local artisans and vendors. It's an excellent place to find one-of-a-kind gifts and keepsakes to remember your trip by.

Live entertainment is a regular feature at the markets, with talented street performers and musicians adding to the festive atmosphere. It's not uncommon to find yourself tapping your feet to the beat or stopping to watch mesmerizing performances.

The only drawback might be the crowds, especially during the peak tourist seasons. Navigating through the stalls can be a bit challenging, but the lively and bustling atmosphere contributes to the overall charm of the markets.

Cool place, busy and touristy but that's expected
A nice tourist oriented market on the Surfers Paradise board walk alongside the beach. It is family-friendly and wheelchair friendly. Dogs are welcome if restrained and well-behaved. The stalls are casual sites, so there is a big turnover of stalls, meaning that the market can be very different every day. It is a very popular place to visit with tourists. Lots of stalls selling a range of products including foods, sweets, souvenirs, clothing, jewellery, candles, temporary tattoos, novelties, and much more, depending on the day. Worth a visit and a great place for a relaxing wander.
Interesting sign. Great to see day or night. Good location as it is the main tourist strip of Surfers Paradise. Right next to the beach. Well worth a look whilst in the area.

Sunset view sorted !
Awesome place to relax, chill and ease the mind.
Includes playground, picnic area (just some beautiful grass to sit on) and toilets.
A beautiful small outdoor playground among the buildings and just close to the river with a pretty view. They have public toilets too which a plus point for mums with kids.
Go during mating season and when it's quiet around. You have to find them so bring walking shoes. Great to see in such a busy area.

Plan a visit if you are in or around Surfers Paradise for a visit. It's an open park with a beautifully landscaped island for peacocks.

Look for street parking near Main Beach (which is not usually busy) as it's just across the road and less than 500m walk.
There is also a kids play area in the park.
The view is fantastic and the water is fine
just amazing place, worth to enjoy and relax all day long 👌😍
Surfers Paradise Sign is an iconic and beautiful landmark that is a must-visit destination for anyone planning a holiday to the Gold Coast. Located just a short walk from the beach, this sign offers a stunning photo opportunity against the backdrop of the rolling waves and the beautiful sunrise or sunset.

Furthermore, the area is filled with great restaurants and cafes, offering plenty of choices for a tasty meal before or after your visit. The sign is an iconic symbol of the Gold Coast and a great place to take in the holiday atmosphere, especially during the night market season.

The location is easily accessible and provides ample parking for visitors. Don't miss the chance to experience the magic of Surfers Paradise Sign during your next Gold Coast vacation.

For Pokemon Go players: 2 pokestops.
The park caters to toddlers and older children with it's wide variety of equipment from:
- a rock climbing area
- a double and single slide separated by a tunnel with stairs or alternatives to be climbed
- a merry-go-round
- a swing set with a baby seat
- a see saw
- two massive grassy areas for ball games or just running around.
There are trees EVERYWHERE for shade.

The park is next to a stunning canal where the kids can see little fishes swimming by, boats and jet skis or sometimes just the still, blue water.

There is also a unisex toilet block provided.

Great place to take a photo if your holidaying in Surfers Paradise in its in the heart of Surfers on the beach front where they hold the SP Markets Friday, Saturday and Wednesday night. Also across the road is plenty of amazing restaurants and the Cavill Mall
It's like who has been to Sydney without a photo of the Opera House or the (Coat Hanger) Sydney Harbour Bridge

The Surfers Paradise Sign is one of those icons that tourist must have a photo of to prove to others that they've been to the epicentre of the Gold Coast

Recommend you also find and take photos on the Surfers Paradise chair... oh! if you happen to find them, the Surfers Paradise Metermaids

3 stars for getting listed on Google twice. This isn't really a 'big thing' in the great Aussie tradition of big things, it's a fibreglass octopus over the entrance to Riply''s which is, of course, the real tourist attraction. A bit of fun though

Most beautiful park on the Gold coast
Beautiful green place in the middle of the city. A lot of birds in their small habitat. Geese, ducks, peacocks, ibises and many others. Also a Cave of Bigfoot with small waterfall is so funny and interesting
This is a great place for morning walks with your kids, it has a play ground, channel view, also you may walk along the embankment

Beautiful park. When I take my kids to Surfers Paradise I come here. It's a nice escape from the busy city. It's absolutely beautiful to see the sunset here. Playground for kids, gorgeous gardens, nice sandy beach on the root canal and lots of fish to look at in the water.
Apart from the great river views this place is fantastic for an evening stroll. Excellent vibe probably needs a council BBQ down here to make it a little more family friendly. Also has a nice little beach front where the smaller ones can wade around. You can not beat Surfers when it come to atmosphere period.
Surfers Paradise is a true gems.
Stunning view of the beach where it meets with the skyscrapers.

It a must go place in Gold Coast. On the other side of the road located of bars and clubs along with shopping center. And Not to forget your food cravings by having mouth watering food from near the surfers paradise.
Dont want to say too much, its a bit of a local secret....definately worth a visit if you have little ones. The water is calm (Nerang River), with quiet sandy beaches, at low tide its fun to just mooch about the shallows and look for hermit crabs, great for stand up paddle boarding, and beautiful at dusk. Pleasant evenings there with a picnic and wine. Plenty of trees for shade and lots of picnic tables. Dogs are ok too, and love it! There are signs saying no alcohol/ dogs.....the dog sign was there before the footpath was built.....nice cafe Bumbles also next door lovely gift shop, you can always find just the right item to take back.
Love this beach..pull in with the boat for a coffee & cake from Bumbles. No tourist here just locals. Great for a swim with the dog, Little Mia loves swimming here. Us kids do too. Watch the tides. Watch dolphins pass by!
Nice place to spend time, public toilets and barbecue area, sometimes you can see dolphins crossing there.
A beautiful place to see the sunset. If you are lucky enough, you may see some dolphins cruising around. Make sure to bring bug spray. Especially if you have a sweet blood like me 😅. The mozzis love me!
