Launceston is a beautiful city and seems to have a vibrant centre with most shops occupied. The architecture around the city is worth exploring especially up the hilly streets
Debby and i had a great time doing this trip and all the staff were wonderful. Recommend to any one.
Perfect place to visit for family and friends. It’s a must for all visiting Tasmania..

The chair lifts are not that safe for kids though but it was an awesome view , Cafes , toilets are available, pool and picnic areas.

What I love about this place is it has disability access and trails which is accessible to disabled people.
Amazing trip, took my wife for her 50th she has a bit of anxiety with heights, she found it calming. Clare and John were great!!
one of the most beautiful experiences ever. the tranquility you feel while in flight is unbelivable. everything was perfect from preparation to landing. beautiful views. Claire and Jon are kind and nice. I really recommend trying an experience with them!

Longest chairlift in Australia. Well priced , $13 one way, $15 return. Staff were very friendly and informative. Cannot purchase tickets at the return end, but 1km walk back to the start is easy. Beautiful views of the gorge and gardens. Cafe near return end .
It's a really interesting place to visit especially if you have small kids with you... Kids will love the experience of the chair lift... Adults will also be fascinated by the picturesque surroundings of the place... The best part is the sighting of the peacocks... They're super friendly with the people around. Although peacock is national Bird of India, I've hardly seen so many peacocks which are human friendly like these ones... there are multiple walking trails you can enjoy around.
Flight organized at the last minute, during our trip to Tasmania. A beautiful organization and exemplary professionalism.

Perfect piloting and of great precision, for piloting, it's absolutely true, for precision, let's say that the wind decides and John adapts with a master’s hand 😂.
Beautiful breathtaking landscapes.

Merci à Claire et John.
Great place for a day picnic and swim. Lot of peacocks around the garden area when you trek or use a chair lift to go to the garden side.
Good place for family picnic day. The chair lift ride provides a great view of the gorge. 2 nice pools and a river to swim. The change places are clean.

This is a pleasant chairlift ride straight from the point of sale - such an enthusiastic ticket sales woman!
When we got to the top, We saw many Wallabies and peacocks up close!
It claims to be the world's longest single chairlift span. It costs $20 for return trip and $15 for pensioners.
This was a good bit of fun and you get good views over all of cataract gorge reserve and up and down the river. I’d recommend doing it only one way and take a walk back. It’s not far at all, there’s lots of options as far as waking goes. The chairlift is reasonably inexpensive for the novelty and views.

Great scenic chairlift over the gorge. Very smooth ride over but if you are afraid of heights this is probably not for you. Cost $15.00 one way or $20.00 return. I bought the return but did not use the chairlift back as the felt the walk back was mostly downhill and worth it to appreciate the scenery.
What an amazing experience, the views were spectacular and the staff very professional. Thank you John, Claire and John for a wonderful morning. Highly recommend you give ballooning a go.
John & Clare run a great little business. Well organised, safe and a fantastic views drifting above the world in a hot air balloon. Highly recommend
Great free and easy to use resource. Highly recommend it for a quick walk through the city and some of its highlights.
An absolutely fantastic experience to fly with you in your hot air balloon! A trip we will never forget! Thank you so much Clare and John for this perfectly memory you gave us!!
Had a fantastic flight this morning. Great company & pilot! So smooth and surreal to what we were expecting. Would do again for sure

Excellent audio tour of the city. Go at your own pace, each place has 1-2mins commentary, photos so you can find your way and app access to directions to walk if needed. Highly recommend
Absolutely breathtaking experience! Our first time ballooning & could not rate it more highly from John's expertise & friendly banter to the amazing sunrise views over the Tasmanian countryside topped off by a beautiful breakfast at the end of your trip. A must do on your next trip to the area!
Fantastic self-guided walking tour! Very informative and easy to use and follow. Highly recommended if you are visiting Launceston.
What an awesome experience we had today with John and Clare! Very professional and warm, we felt right at home with them both. With over 20 years experience we felt safe and had a seamless and wonderful flight. My wife and I enjoyed this wonderful experience and it was such a fantastic way to spend our 1st year anniversary. Also enjoyed the complementary buffet breakfast which was Devine. Can't recommend these guys enough.
