Quite spot with Kayak rentals. Nice short trail. Saw a Manatee in the lagoon.
The Google address is 1655 but the conservation area is down Pine Island Road, and I mention that because I got lost.
But it was totally worth it. They have a manatee viewing area and that was just the start of the wildlife.
The walk over to Sam's house is awesome, it cuts right thru trees, bring big spray because I got chewed up. Wildlife is in full effect I saw a skittish raccoon, piglets, wild bees and squirrels.
Very relaxing and peaceful.
Also bring sunscreen shade is lacking.

The course was in decent shape. It was in the best shape I have ever seen it but it was a long time ago when I was there. The T boxes were good with a few that needed some work. I noticed a few weren’t even flat. The greens were really fast and were in good shape. The fairways were decent as well. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. Clubhouse is getting a little old and it shows it’s still a good course and would come back.
Rented some kayaks from Calypso. Was fortunate enough to see manatees and dinner dolphins!

Incredibly challenging (in a good way). 👍 Get right with your accuracy and your short game. It doesn't help you to be a "big hitter" out here if you can't put it where you aim. Lots of water to contend with.
- Greens were in great shape.
- Fairways and traps were well maintained.
- Tee boxes were adequately groomed.
Overall, B+. Great value, and well worth the time. It's one of those courses that can eat your lunch if you aren't paying attention. It's also one that pulls you back over and over again to fix mixtakes you've made there in the past. 🌊⛳️🏌‍♂️🏌‍♀️🐊🦅🦚🌴🌴
First time visiting the Savannah course. I found the course to be in very good shape compared to some reviews I read from a couple years ago. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. My friend that was playing with me, sprayed a ball into one of the water hazards on the course, and the Ranger saw this when we were playing and stopped by and gave him a couple extra balls. The beverage cart ladies on the course were also very helpful, came around four times on our 18 holes and the prices were not outrageous like some courses can be. The course is not outrageously long, but if you want to shoot a good score, you need to keep your ball and play. I recommend if you are in the area it’s a fun course to play!
My husband and I have been playing this course for the past 23 years while vacationing annually and have always loved it. However, this year we have never seen it in such poor condition. We were very disappointed with the greens, most fairways and tee boxes. The GPS dings on the power carts were very frequent with respect to restricted areas of the course yet there was no signage indicating these restricted areas….which was annoying.
Wonderful place for picnicking with young kids, biking, and exploring! We didn’t rent a kayak but we explored the trail around the cove and spotted a bunch of manatees!! There’s a great playground and it’s a nice quiet area perfect for little kids on bikes. Definitely a new favorite location for our family!
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit after our cruise. We booked it through our cruise line and they took care of transport. We had about 5 hours to tour. It was a bit short, but we still saw a lot. The simulated launch experience was really cool!
Amazing exhibits. We will definitely come back again with our kids for another visit.
Hidden gem nature reserve on merritt island. Hosts were nice, restrooms were clean. Interesting wildlife on the trails. We saw Roseate Spoonbill, several type of herons and of course the gopher totoises. Trails were in good shape on dry when we visited. Might be muddy after a rain.
Walking, biking, and horse trails that go on for miles. Kayak launches as well. Some parts of the year the paths will be flooded.
A must see place if you are interested and into space exploration. The indoor and outdoor exhibits are top notch and amazing. Plan on spending at least a full day to fully enjoy everything. I was blown away by how well everything was and the size of the exhibits. Great for all ages.
The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex has so much to offer, but the Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit stole the show for me. Seeing a space shuttle – one that actually flew missions – is awe-inspiring. The way they've presented Atlantis, tilted and with its cargo bay doors open, makes you appreciate the sheer complexity of these machines.

There are plenty of other cool exhibits (and that simulated launch is also a must!), but if you're fascinated by the shuttle program, make sure to dedicate time to Atlantis. Between the films, displays, and being so close to an actual orbiter, it's an experience that leaves you in awe of human achievement.

Also, spend at least 2 days and also book the explorer tour, it is 2 hours and worth every second!

We stopped in at Manatee Cove Park while in the area. The park is located on Merritt Island just off of route. Nice little park 29+ acre community river park with a playground, picnic shelter, parking lot with plenty of parking and kayak launch area at the mangroves. A natural trail around the lagoon provides access for shoreline fishing.
What an incredible place. It's a must-see. All sorts of cool interactive activities. There's a couple of great stores to buy your space collector clothing. The only negative I see is that it is over the top expensive. And after you buy your admission ticket, you're not done. It seems everything is extra and not cheap either.
Overall, I loved it. I would go again, but it would be nice to go and not feel like it's just about making money.

Don't forget to keep an eye out for the alligators on the outskirts of the property and along the highway.
I haven't been back in 22 years, and it was as much fun bringing my kids to enjoy now. I'm so glad we came back! Tons of self-serve ticket stations to get in quickly. A Starbucks pickup order was a great way to start our day here. We hopped on the bus tour first, which I would recommend. Lots of fun items in their multiple gift shops. The shuttle simulator was one of our favorites.
What a great experience! You can spend the entire day here exploring. There are even training sessions but book way in advance if you want to do those. They offer different tour packages if you're interested in that too. Bus tour is included in the general ticket purchase and well worth taking. Fun surprises throughout the buildings! Must for everyone!
Great time! Everyone should go once in their lifetime! Lots to do very interactive. We went in February on a weekend the crowd was not too bad. Definitely bring a bottle for water. You could stretch it into two days to do everything. The lines to get in were the longest.
My 13 year old son and I visited about a week ago on a Saturday. It took us quite a bit of time to be able to park- so many people on a Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m.! Learn from us and get there earlier. :)

Once we made it past the gates, we absolutely loved our time at the space center. We paid for the Explore Bus Tour. I have no idea what the other bus tour is like but this one was great. The driver made lots of stops so we could get out and take pictures. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept us engaged the entire time.

Seeing Saturn V and watching all the presentations/mini-movies are an absolute must! So fascinating and awe-inspiring! I love history and this place was just wonderful! I loved learning about the astronauts and all the men and women that have worked so hard on our space program.

Even if you’re not in love with learning about history, this place is still incredible to see. Oh- and yes, there were a lot of people there but because the visitor center is SO big, it never felt like there were TOO many people. Large crowds were never a big problem for us while there.

The park itself is pretty sparse, but that's not why you want to go. You want to go Kayak to see manatees and dolphins. And see them you will.
If you're looking for a relaxed way onto the water with plenty of wildlife, this is your spot.
We bring our own kayak and head out to Triangle Island and hang out for the half a day on the beach there just enjoying the nature and scenery. It's far better than the beach and a relatively short paddle from the park.

Pretty park, but very small and no trail. Basically a playground. Might be good for kids. But nearby houses have a direct view of the playground equipment… slightly creepy.

Manatee Cove Park regularly has manatees hanging out. Mullet jump around, too. It's a good place to see mangroves' roots reaching. As a premiere bull shark estuary, the Indian River Lagoon hosts up to 6ft bull sharks which may be seen as well. Manatees generally make their presence known with their nostrils, though during days with weather like on Valentine's Day, they group up and get rowdy. There's a boat landing and the site has commercial kayak tours for daytime fauna and nightime bioluminecent dino-flashlights (dinoflagellates) 🦕🔦
The nicest course I've played in Brevard county. So well kept and beautiful scenery. Very nice range on a lake, had an amazing time.
Great day. Lots to do for all ages. There are coach tours that go around the various launch sites with very knowledgeable guides.
You have the chance to see a Saturn 5 rocket and the Space Shuttle Atlantis plus others right from the beginning of Space flight and learn their stories
The site is also a wildlife sanctuary with the opportunity to see Eagles, Alligators, Turtles and Wild Boar.
Big visitor complex, almost like a theme park. Lots of different sights to see including real sized rockets.
There are also bus tours for an extra fee, that take you towards launch pads on Kennedy Space Center area.
It's difficult to see everything in one day and the prices are designed in a way that you buy the 2 day pass, but it is recommended to allocate 2 days if you want to see everything.
It can get very hot outdoors during the day, drink enough water and bring sun protection. Inside, all places are air conditioned.
This place is bigger than I expected. We were not able to see everything in one day. The bus tour was very interesting and definitely worth taking. One of my kids doesn't like science so she didn't have a good time, my other kids loved it. I definitely will be back to try to see the rest of the exhibits.
👩‍🚀🛰️🚀Wonderful day to enjoy the amazing history of our space program. I hadn't been here for nearly 30 years and was amazed at how it's changed and became a modern and engaging experience.

I enjoyed it so much that I upgraded my ticket to an annual pass and plan to enjoy visiting again soon.
We got here late in the day, so we did not enter. If you are planning to visit, it is a full day event. You will want to arrive early that morning and preplan this trip. Can't wait to come back to get the full experience. While visiting, we were able to get informative information and take some souvenir photos.
Very cool experience overall, lots of informative peices and history. Great for children with lots of child friendly pieces and interactive features. Most of the exhibits require you to watch a video before entering which is fine but they don't really tell you that until you get to the exhibit and shove you into a room with 100+ other people standing up for a video. The videos are good, though. Highly recommend doing the bus tour first. Parking was $10, and tickets are $75 per adult. Children are a little cheaper.
Amazing attraction! A must see place for the historical value and the overall value for the history of the human race. The park is well setup, easy to navigate, perfectly managed and organised. I was particularly impressed with the amount of objects of historical importance put in display. You don't want to miss the area dedicated to the Apollo mission . Just a wonderful experience, money well spent. If you can, you should plan the visit over two days as there is a lot to see. Also, make sure not to miss the bus tour!
My children and I (ages 43, 24, 20, and 17) enjoyed this visit so much. Everything was so informational and exciting. We went a little late in the day, and can recommend that you get there as early as possible. Staff was helpful and gave suggestions on which exhibits we had time for and how to get to each one. The bus rides were pleasant and the videos shown were entertaining and informative. We plan to make our next visit start earlier and include two days so that we can see as much as possible.
Nice course, heavy water presence on the front, clearer on the back but still narrow. People complained about the greens but they look like they're coming in nicely. Sone are definitely recovering but others look perfect. It's an ok routing and would certainly play again.

It is free to come here and park and look at the manatees. I paid to rent a kayak. The experience was pretty awesome that I got to see some manatees, but I felt like I got ripped off by the guy with the kayaks because he changed the pricing from the board. I didn't know what to say so I just paid him and did it anyway. Bring your own kayak! Afterwards we went over to the playground area. I can tell this place is well taken care of. Nice and quiet too and not over crowded.
Very nice course I was visiting from Missouri and was told I should go play there. The staff was awesome and the course was very nice and well taken care of. When I come back down I'll will be back to play again
Absolutely beautiful ! Have kayak launching as well.
Great spot to kayak and see some wildlife! Nice little kayak launch spot which made it very easy to get on the water. Outside of the fish, I saw plenty of manatees, dolphins, and even some gators! I have gone a few times and always found some fish!
Being a tourist in Florida, I have always wanted to see alligators out in real life, because they scare me and fascinate me. This was the perfect place to remain safely in the car and still enjoy the wildlife. There is a lot of 'wild'life to enjoy.
Nice and quiet, lots of birds, great blue heron, loons , black buzzards, Osprey, manatees, gators , very peaceful area . Next time I will bring a walking stick, for nature walk .A snake scared me, I heard a sqeeling sound from the bushes may have been a wild boar 🐗 😳
Really nice place. Saw a little gator, lots of birds, evidence of boars, and a giant gator. Definitely a nice place to get in a nice 3 mile walk and enjoy the real Florida.
The course is improving every time I visit. The greens were in good shape. The service - front desk, starter, and the cheerful helpful bartender who fixed me a nice bag with ice and water - was very good!

The wildlife on this course is amazing, birds, gators, turtles, and butterflies.

Update: Taco Tuesday Incredible beef and chicken tacos and margaritas were the best. Wow 4.9.19

5.2.19 Happy Birthday Christine. Excellent steak, baked potato, service, and a great photo locale.
