It looked nice but I got there at a really busy time and my dogs were way to hyped up by everyone so we had to go before we even got down the trail. But it looked nice and the trail was paved from what I saw and they have bathrooms at the head of the trail by the parking lot. The photos are from around the area and the sheep were up the road at the park.
Really nice place to learn about the animals that live in the area. Very well put together
It’s an easy, beautiful walk, a view of what is left of lake mead. I highly recommend it - even for the locals. Brink snacks, water, a bike if you have one and definitely your cameras. 2 hour walk if anything, 5 tunnels to pass through, 4 miles total which doesn’t feel that much honestly. Enjoy!
whenever I want to relax, I come here, I take my dog, bring something to eat, and I love it!! it is very relaxing.

It’s an outdoor museum showcasing historic machinery and artifacts from the iconic Hoover Dam construction. Featuring archeological remnants of the original equipment brought by the railroad to build the dam.
Easy, wide trail through a series of old railroad tunnels near Lake Mead. Very popular trail, lots of parking but it still fills up. Split between cyclists and people walking with or without dogs. Basically goes from Boulder City down to Hoover Dam and back.
Parked at visitor center and walked down the trail to the end of Hoover Dam. Amazing views of Lake Mead and the Colorado River. Multiple tunnels to walk through. Walk was about 9.5 miles. Dog friendly and bikes are allowed. Railway trail was easy to follow all the way to parking garage at dam. Paid $0 and enjoyed the views.
This hidden gem in Boulder City is a great place to take a walk or ride a bike and best of all it is usually very quiet. Within the park there are seven statues featuring the various types of wildlife that call Southern Nevada home. There are plenty of free parking spaces available at the Bootleg Canyon Park Parking and the walk to the gazebo along a paved path is not very long and ends near the tortoise statue. The covered gazebo has two picnic tables available for those who would like to enjoy lunch while taking in a wonderful view of Boulder City.
This was such a beautiful hike. We took it all the way to the Hoover Dam. We walked on the dam and over the Memorial Bridge. Then made our way back. Easy hike. Suitable for all ages.

Extra parts for the Hoover Dam, Very cool. Some of these parts will be refurbished and put back into use, while the rest will be recycled.
Grateful to get to Boulder City and walk the Historic Railroad Hiking Trail on a gorgeous October morning. I have been in Las Vegas for 30 years and still find the lake views breathtaking. Great trail for families, including fur babies.
Saw all ages and all smiles while out there!
Beautiful, long trail that connects to the hoover dam eventually - portion of trail closed in summer season. Fine gravel with a couple small ramps you walk up/down exiting some of the tunnels. A lot of historial reading material along the route.

Playground is well equipped enough and bathrooms are a little crowded but fairly clean for a park. They hold some events here because it’s big. Super easy to get to as well.
Quant little winding trail. Seems like you in someone else's yard or something though the way there always seems to be a person camped out at the picnic tables like they own the place. Excellent views.
Old time fun!! Go down the street for some old-fashioned ice cream, then enjoy a stroll in the park. They also do art in the park, the Wurst Festival, and much more. Absolutely beautiful.

Beautiful and peaceful makes this park a nice get away from Vegas❤
I took my 10-year-old son on a bike ride along this trail, and we absolutely loved it. The scenery was stunning, with birds and bats visible just after sunrise. The trail features plenty of park benches where hikers can take a break or simply admire the beautiful surroundings. There were many information signs. The view from the lake overlook was truly breathtaking. I would highly recommend this hike to people of all athletic levels.

I have had a great experience SkyDiving with Mauro and Carlos!
I came here with my husband and his friend. They did the sky diving with Mauro and I did with Carlos. All of us had great experience! Initially I was very nervous but Carlos made sure that I was calm before the dive. The dive was super smooth and I had the best skydiving experience! Thank you so much Carlos and Mauro!

Wow!! The absolute best experience from start to finish. I wouldn’t have wanted to experience my first jump with anyone other than Mauro and Carlos! They ensured my friend and I were safe, calm, prepared, and present to enjoy the experience. Definitely will be jumping again at some point in the future.
I love this shaded park, and so does my pup!
Beautiful and clean and respected because people care and pick up after their dogs, so great for a nice afternoon/ mid-day lounge time in the grass. The care team takes splendid care of the grass/ lawn and the trees.

We decided to spend our 10 year anniversary by jumping out of an airplane together! Our original date was canceled due to wind but they were very accommodating to reschedule us while we were still in town.

Although necessary, filling out the waiver may be the scariest part. It's where you get to hear the potential bad parts. But we filled that out while shuttling from the Strip to Boulder City. All the staff was very friendly throughout the experience.

We went through a training then we were suited up and meeting our jump partners. Two very experienced individuals, Carlos and Mauro.

They had the perfect amount of comfort, jokes, instructions, and sarcasm to keep you feeling safe but just distracted enough to not freak out.

The jump itself was like nothing I've ever experienced. It was amazing and we would definitely go back!

Visited Wilbur Square for the first time to attend the VW Car Show. The park, cars and the people were festive and friendly. What a beautiful day in Boulder City.
This hidden gem of a park is NOT on Trip Advisors top 70 places in Boulder City, or highlighted in other tourist information. It was a serendipitous discovery for us, after walking around the Nevada State Railroad Museum. The rocks and plantings are awesome, as are the giant sculptures for kids to play on.

A beautiful park well maintained a nice place to walk and relax.
This is a really neat place to stop by, go for a quick hike, and take some cool photos. The statues are awesome. You can get some scenic photos as well, especially during sunset. I must disclose that when we were there, around sunset, there were some coyotes nearby. We heard their howls and saw them in the distance. They were getting closer as we were getting back to our car at the parking lot. Don't let that discourage you from checking this place out, just be mindful and aware of your surroundings.
This tour was amazing!!! And his is the best way to experience the Hoover Dam and Colorado River. Our Captain, Russ, was phenomenal. Our driver Marty, was excellent!! 10/10
This is a 1 mile round trip hike that starts at the top of the parking garage. You will see old equipment, huge power transformers and switchgear, and the old railroad route. It's worth the trip of you are looking for something off the beaten track.
Had a great time! Took the postcard tour! Great trip with lots of information shared! Great for kids too. Very calm ride.Want to come back and do the longer trip in the summer! Russ “rock rider” Kelly is awesome! Great raft operator.
Green is the word to describe this place. Sometimes you just need to be around green plants. This park makes you feel like you’re not in the desert anymore. Lots of grassy areas, trees, ponds, dog parks, playgrounds, a dirt track, sports fields, trails. This park has it all and it’s very well-maintained.
This tour was educational, relaxing and entertaining. The bus driver , Victor gave a good historical talk on the way to the base of Hoover Dam where the pontoon boat was docked. Sarah, the pilot was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of history and geographic information. It was sunny and in the low 70's. Perfect weather for this tour, unless you want to go in the water, which is cold. We did the full tour and got back to our car at the RV Village about 3.30pm.
Amazing!!!1111!!
Been in Vegas over 20 years. My father and 2 uncle are buried at the Veteran's Cemetery across the street and today was my first trip to the BEAUTIFUL park! There's a nice pond and then there's a lake where people were fishing. Really quiet, lots of room to sit down. Lots of mature trees for shade and there are benches around the pond/ lake. They're are a couple of dog parks here, too. Great place to have a small bbq, sit and relax.
Stopped by to check out the stone animals with my granddaughters as a surprise and they loved it! Nice Little Rock garden with larger than life animal statues that they can climb upon. The trail is paved and takes a three year old minutes to complete. I, on the other hand wanted to ride the huge a$$ mountain bike because mountain biking is a passion of mine so a win win for Opa.
Today I drove to VMP because I knew how pleasant and peaceful it is there, and it was today as well!

Came here for Art in the Park Festival, review is for that:

The Art in the Park event takes place over a single weekend (Oct. 7-8, 2023) in October, running from 9 am to 4 pm. I was captivated by its expansive scale and the multitude of vendors it attracted. There was certainly an abundance of delightful crafts available for purchase. However, I couldn't help but wish for more live art experiences, such as vibrant paintings being created in real-time, captivating poetry readings, or even friendly competitions, to truly transform this event into a festival-like ambiance. Nevertheless, it still exudes a unique charm, even though it feels more akin to a sprawling flea market with some crafty stuff for sale rather than an immersive art festival. Among the talented artists present, the Laughing Bear Art exhibit stood out, featuring incredibly adorable paintings that bring a genuine smile to your face, created by a truly amiable artist. Additionally, I had the pleasure of purchasing some exquisite holiday earrings crafted by talented jewelry makers. There were also a ton of food and beverage options, including alcohol. Fun way to spend a few hours.

Park is nice, clean, and spacious.

Had a wonderful time and I love all the cars that were at the show. Can't wait until next year.
It was a beautiful afternoon to visit the trail! Lots of scenic desert views to the valley and the mountains.

Very neat animal sculptures and several spots with a gazebo and benches to rest :)

Desert willow flowers were in bloom and smelled quite nice. Generally quiet today with only the occasional family and walker. I think it's great that there are both walking and biking trails and what looks to be a BMX area across the way.

My experience was perfect!!! I really enjoyed. I jumped with Mauro and He is very professional and cheerful.. He explained me everything with patient and dedication. Mauro is amazing :) Also my brother jumped with Carlos and He is really amazing too. Both of them exceeded our expectations. We loved the experience!! We’re going to come back for sure :)
A highlight of our trip to America! Sarah made the postcard trip so much fun. Loads of interesting information, great humour and full of personality. The view of Hoover Dam is one not many people are lucky enough to have and stopping for a swim in the river just topped it off….so special. We all loved it. Thank you so much. Would fully recommend the trip to anyone.
We had a wonderful experience!! Sarah was so knowledgeable, and passionate about the Dam, the river, & the wildlife!! 10/10 would recommend! Thanks again guys for giving my husband and I a beautiful memory and great adventure!
This was a wonderful rafting excursion led by Eugene. He’s a great pilot, fun, funny, and full of information about the dam, river and wildlife. We had a great time. It’s a wonderful way to experience the water without much physical effort. And the raft provides cold wet towels to make sure you don’t overheat…a key reason we didn’t burn. If you go, wear a suit under sun clothes and bring a hat and sunscreen. Open toe shoes are fine. The water is cold but so refreshing. Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to get out and enjoy the outdoors but not kayak for 6 hours!
This is the only tour company that you can board a large pontoon boat from right below the Hoover Dam. You park near Lake Mead above the Dam and they shuttle you to the boarding point. It's a very scenic and interesting tour and then you take a bus back. Highly recommended as a unique way to see the dam (in addition to taking a dam tour) and the river.

Beautiful green and lush park with something for everyone. Kids play areas with water features, BMX riding, flat open grounds, water features, and baseball fields. Dog park next to it is really well done.

Our family decided to enjoy the nice weather that we've been having before it gets too hot. I fell in love with this park! It's so beautiful. The grass was so green!

There's basketball courts, baseball field, a pond, a lake to fish. Playground for the kids. The splash pad was closed. Not sure if its seasonal or due to the drought.

The restroom was shockingly clean for a park bathroom. I would like to say it was due to the visitors. It didn't smell. Although some stalls had what i would say was pee or water, it wasn't stinky or swarming with flies.

They have a few picnic areas that have barbecue grills too.

Nice quiet park. Decent size.
Kathleen, our tour guide, was wonderful! July is very hot in Vegas/Boulder City so be conscious of that. We did the three hour trip down the Colorado and we were provided a lunch with water and the boat had a container of water for refill. They also provided towels to get wet and keep your neck cool which were so helpful in this heat. We also stopped at two places with the chance to get in the water and cool off. Even with it being 109°F it was a great trip. Bring a hat and plenty of sunscreen if you go in the summer and wear clothes you're not worried about getting in the water in.
This park is beautiful and so relaxing. Love coming here every now and then with our sons when time allows. Just to enjoy the area and the atmosphere is so tranquil and the weather is perfect today.
This is a beautiful Park in Boulder City NV, and has a variety of activities to do such as fishing, splash pads, play around, party pavilion, camping, and very much dog friendly. The park is well kept, with plenty of parking, and shaded areas with pine trees and other large trees. Do caution that a very large population of coyotes are very close, seen and heard once the sun begins to go down.

Right across the street from a good friend and love the beautiful lawn and mature 🎄 trees.
Great park! Has all kinds of events. Car show pictures from a few years ago. Hopefully more events will come in the future as things open back up.
We were staying at Lake Mead and wanted a place to walk our dog Nugget. Googled parks and came here.
This is a very nice park with lots of trees and walking paths. Very green compared to the desert around us. They have a kids play area and splash park. Baseball fields, bicycle cross track, fishing lake, lake for model boats and lots of picnic areas.
A real nice park and the city should be proud.

Small, clean park with picnic tables & nice (caged) basketball courts
We love it here! Great dog park always clean! Not a lot of people but everyone takes pride in keeping it clean quiet and safe! Our dogs love to run around and then we walk up to the upper part to see the ducks on the first pond. We avoid the second pond because people enjoy fishing there and the dogs are ... well dogs!

A pocket sized park; room for for a picnic lunch. Providing ample shade to keep the dogs comfortable on a hot summer day.
