Wow, what a great place to hike ... U have water, some paved path and some dirt and wood chips path. There are some cyclists and most don't have/use bells, but one very nice lady did. Nice place though, we will certainly go back. 5 stars for sure.

Beautiful park! Good sized paved parking lot and a paved path that's good for running or biking. There's a really nice dock by the boat launch that's quite nice to sit at. The park is also well maintained and never super busy.

We were there on a rainy day, so my photos are dark and maybe gloomy looking, but I really liked this park.

The trail is well taken care of, it's nice to walk near the water, there are benches along the way for those who need them....but mostly I loved the smell....which I think was probably magnified by the rainfall...I LOVE the smell of pine and that's all I could smell during most of our walk.

I didn't use the washroom facilities (not far from the parking lot) but it's good that they're available....as well as garbage bins too.
Nice local spot did well fishing there this summer

Beautiful trails! A pavilion for picnic time with a clean public washroom. A no leash dog park and lots of areas to walk right down to the water. Nice to see well maintained garbage chutes!
We stayed a week here to visit family in Woodstock. This is our second stay here in the fall. It’s a lovely park with good amenities. There are wild raspberries all over the place that could be better enjoyed earlier in the year. The changing leaves were beautiful!
I love Roth Park. Paths are paved, beautiful area, Wonderful paths, leash free dog park with amazing respectful people and dogs. Go here with my family often.
Beautiful park, VERY well kept, and no charge for the day-use area. Took my canoe; lots of parking just steps just from the water.
For a day's trip, this is a good place to visit. They also have nice picnic areas and camp sites which I did not use, and cannot review.
If you are coming for a day visit, you should come to the Southside parking lot, which is not the default location when you use Google to navigate.
From the Southside parking lot, you can visit the dam or walk in the trails. The dam is worth a visit. A very unique structure with different levels of water on either side. A good place to fish as well.
The only part that I felt could be better is, parts of the trails are not maintained and hard to walk.
Great place to fish, bike, hike , kayak and picnic. Lots of parking and day visit doesn't have a charge. Dam gets stinky when walking on it but views are amazing. Splash pad is decent. Lots of tables in case you want to BBQ.
Close to the city but the feel of the rustic outdoors. A clean taken care of park. Very friendly an helpful people staff and regulars. Nice lake to fish in. The store was not that great it only sold wood and ice on weekends not during the week. The sues were close together but because of covid spacing I was okay. There was a nice trail and a swim area. It was a nice alternative getaway.
Very beautiful well kept park with an amazing trail that goes all the way to Roth Park here in Woodstock. Here they have to the right a day area with a play group a splash pad many picnic tables its quite has public bathroom i believe they are now open to the public. To their left is the camping grounds and there is so much to that side i recommend that you come visit get a map and discover your next family adventures.
Best of both worlds...there is a nice paved section of the trail that leads along the lake, and for the brave at heart, it turns into a gravel trail around half way down the lake. Great place for young families and pets. Safe for children to try out their skateboard, ripstick, roller blades, etc skills.
