We went to consult about the home buying process and the Realtor Mr. Samrat(Sam) was very informative. He helped answer all our questions and he knew the neighborhood very well. Also Mr.Lama helped us pre-qualify for home loan and explained about loan process and even educated us about all the misinformation we had about the down payment and interest rates. Horrible. I reached out about an apartment multiple times over the course of several days, called, and submitted the contact form on their website and no one bothered to respond. Not even to tell me “sorry, the apartment has been rented.” Absolutely horrible communication.

I was delivering groceries and it was a lot of groceries I had my cart but there were nothing but stairs so I tried to get down the stairs and spilled all the customers groceries the security sitting at the gate seen everything and didn’t even offer to help or offer to show me where the ramp was once I got inside a lady that lives in the building said the security was supposed to let you go through the ramp way but he didn’t even bother to help me this place is horrible and unprofessional

The review above by Jesse Mineo is completely fair. Nicholas at Astor Realty strung us along. He's pushy and I didn't find him to be trustworthy. He is nice to interact, responsive but he is not honest. He is very pushy when it's about his requests but his urgency stops as soon as you apply- From the very first showing he mentioned the apartment had multiple applications, (while in fact the apartment price was reduced after a few days on streeteasy). He got upset at us that we weren't serious applicants and hadn't made a quick decision. We got a sense that he wasn't honest but were willing to tolerate given we liked the apartment. We applied, submitted all our paperwork and he said it was approved and that the apartment was being cleaned and would be ready for lease signing in 3-4 days (note this is 10 days before the move in date) and he never got back to us. If we hadn't found something last minute, we would have been completely screwed. I have all the correspondence to prove this, if anyone is interested. There was no use in arguing with him. I just wanted to post this review so other won't have to go through the same experience .

Very unprofessional. I was appointed a viewing and the apartment was rented over night. I did not receive a cancellation notice. Made me waste my time and money to come to a place that is no longer listed. Everything about this screams SCAM.

I don't share a negative experience in my dealings with Astor Realty. Astor helped me find the perfect apartment. We've been in that apartment for a year and a half with no negative issues whatsoever.

They work with many types of landlords who have their own way of doing things. Finding parity between landlord and potential tenant can be tricky. This was well managed and we had a seamless experience.

As my fiancé was going through cancer treatments, her/our living requirements and situation changed dramatically. We needed a safe, accessible, clean, modern apartment that would facilitate her recovery. The list of needs were rather imposing. Astor still found us the place that met our needs.

I base my review on how Astor conducted business. It was friendly, professional, and produced a highly agreeable result.

I had a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and on point. My broker Junior he was very patient and kept me up to date. He kept in contact with me from the beginning, he left no stones unturned. Mr Briscoe was also as patient. I would recommend Home Smart CrossIsland to anyone who needs a house to buy or one to rent.

Mr Authur is very rude and unprofessional. He want to ask a million question without even offering to show the property. When you go to view an apartment you are to view it and then be told the requirements for the apartment...

They are pretty nice to show the places, and to get your money but then they never answer for questions about the apt. At the end you have to cry for your deposit (the address for the owner is a mail box) and when it finally arrive, it's smaller that you thought. Then they say that the apt wasn't clean (it's not true) and they had to spend $$$ cleaning it. So, after they find you a place don't expect much.
