The tour was excellent. Visited the place yesterday with my friend. The tour guide was knowledgeable and kept our attention. I'm a history lover so it was a fascinating experience learning about the history of the Romans. There were security checks before entry into different archaeological areas but I think that's standard procedure by the Colosseum staff. Highly recommended.
Recently took the Colosseum tour with Tour in the City and it was a fantastic experience! The guide was knowledgeable and passionate, making history come alive. Skip-the-line access and a small group ensured a seamless and intimate visit. Highly recommend Tour in the City for an informative and enjoyable exploration of this iconic landmark!
Great agency, really looked after us. From the minute we were collected from the airport to the minute we were taken back, they were attentive and organised. Excursions were fantastic, and they dealt with any last-minute changes of mind in their stride. Recommended!

Valentin, our guide, explained everything well. Nice guy. Made some occasional funny jokes😜
It was nice to hear the stories, instead of just doing it on our own. I recommend it!
One downside: it was hard to find the guides. The yellow signs you need to look for are actually carton boards they are holding. Some better explanation or visual would be nicer. Or maybe have them wear something yellow to find them more easily.

Wonderful tour of San Clemente and all the historical layers underneath. Tara was an excellent guide. Was able to converse in both English and Spanish. She let us know she actually knows 5 languages. Her knowledge and passion for history and specifically for the treasures of Rome made for an insightful and engaging hour. So glad we decided to go with Touriks.
We loved our tour with him last week! He was knowledgeable, funny, and kept everyone engaged. He also got us in places efficiently without wait time. Tour agency was a great experience for us!
Valentine was an absolutely amazing guide, we had a wonderful morning being a part of his group, and because he used to work as a guard in the Vatican, he has so much more inner knowledge and little tidbits to tell us. He was so funny and informative - this tour is highly recommended!

The tour was really good. While i can’t remember our tourguide’s name (i’m terrible with names… Serena?), she did an amazing job! She was very knowledgeable, caring for the group making not to leave anyone behind. She gave us lots of « fun facts » about the forum, palatine hill, and the colloseum. I recommend this tour without hesitation (and i hope you fall on Serena 🤞🏼- hoping i remembered her name right).
Thanks to this tour company I was able to secure a skip the line ticket to Vatican museum & Sistine Chapel. Our guide, Massimo was excellent & very informative with an added cheeky sense of humour. This Tour company goes out of its way to accommodate travellers, who, like me, don’t plan well in advance during a very busy & extended tourist season. I spent 5 hours at this location/s, & was glad I extended my stay in Rome to do so. An absolute must see.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! We had a tour booked for the Colosseum with another company. They cancelled our tour 12 hours prior to the start time and offered no option to reschedule. Somehow we found tickets with Tour in the City for the same day. The tour we ended up going on was fantastic, our guide was Evis and she did an amazing job walking us through history, she really knows her stuff!!! We had a great time.

Please save your time and do not book here. I booked for connivence, and regretted it. I had two infants and we walked with the group from the meeting point to the museum. However, once we got to the museum the group leader said he didn’t have our tickets and that I needed to walk back to the meeting point. It was not close at all. I asked if he could call someone to bring the tickets and instead of helping he went on with his day. This booking was everything but convenient. I had to purchase my own tickets at the door because of their mistake.
We did had an entry quickstepa than satnfong in the line, the tour guide was a nice person, we saw the most important things to see in the museum and Sistine Chapel but it was only 2 hours, it’s too quick for such magnificent place, the one star is for those brown liars
The Vatican City is incomparable and unique on our whole planet. For this place, you need to set aside at least one full day and it will be more interesting if you join a group with a guide, which will also allow you to skip the long wait in line. This is the kind of service that this company offers. There are quite a lot of customers and it was crowded in June. Everything was good except for the most important thing. It's about the guide. If you listened carefully, you could notice something very disagreeable - she mixed poltical things in her stories about the Vatican that were not good and not acceptable to me.
We had an amazing day, we booked tour of the Colosseum, Roman forum and Palatine hill, it was very informative and interesting, we didn't wait long in line which was very good. Alex was our guide, and he was amazing, lots of interesting facts and conversation about Roman history were had. I'll recommend it to my friends.
This is ONLY(!) useful if you did not book tickets in advance on the official Vatican Museum website for 17+5 euro each and then you are not prepared to wait in the huuuge line under the burning sun. Or maybe you also need a guided tour.
We arrived to the museum entrance with our 11 year old kid without any hope for surviving the queue and immediatly negotiated the tour 1.5 hours later, group of 10 people. We spent our 1.5 hours walking, shopping and eating.
In my case the VH+ guide did lead us through the entrance for the official guided tours, no line, no waiting, sharply on time.
And we were lucky because the tour guide, Ekaterina Vilpo was very good. We liked the excursion a lot.

It seems that there are many bad comments. However, we indeed got rid of queuing in the line. I bought their tickets on TRIPdotCOM and go the meeting point, and it only took us 20 min to get in the Vatican Museum.

Definitely the way to go is buying tickets ahead of time like we did, lots of crowds to push through, so glad we didn’t have to wait in lines
They will pull you from the line and tell you they will give you fast track tickets. They will tell you the whole group has to come with you as they will get you inside. You come to their dodgy office and then they tell you, they can get you in in two/three hours. Its faster for you just to queue. They tell you it's not a problem they will take you back to the line but good luck explaining to the people who are queuing that you are not cutting.
Either buy your tickets online via the official website or queue like everyone else. Avoid their agents and their dodgy agency.

Total scam ! We almost get to the point to pay it. False promises ! We lost the line and so the day.

We really enjoyed our Tour with Simona, she was very knowledgeable and gave us a great overall background to Roman times as well as lots of specifics and interesting extra info about the colosseum, gladiators, palatine hill and the forum. She went at a great pace and looked after us like we were her ducklings, I especially appreciated her bringing us to the ‘nicest’ public restroom, haha. We booked online for the double tour (colosseum + palatine hill and forum) and found everything quite well organised. They give you a headphone and audio thing so you can always hear your guide which is great in crowded areas. Going through the tour guide line rather than the regular line saves A LOT of time at the colosseum so that’s also a huge plus. Overall I’m so glad we did this tour, we learned loads more than we would have on our own.

My husband and I had booked this tour and honestly it was the right way to see the BEST of Rome in only 2 days. The drivers, staff and guides were extremely helpful and friendly. Everything went perfectly and we were also provided with excellent recommendations for real authentic local restaurants off the beaten path. Our tour guide Sergio was hilarious and made us feel relaxed and comfortable and brought us to the best place for gelato and we enjoyed one of the most authentic cafe's in Rome for an amazing espresso. This tour was one of the best tours we have experienced in our travels. Informative and exciting. Highly recommend!!!
