Was there for a wedding, and the staff was amazing. The area was well decorated and taken care of. Absolutely beautiful
We went for a wedding in one of the complexes. The room for the appetizers and drinks was small. The main hall was great for the number of people that came. We think there is so much wasted space in the complex that it could have been a better distribution. The staff was courteous and kind. The bartenders were also quick and fun to deal with. We had a good experience. Love the little outside area with the fountain and the garden.
Liberty Grand is just like the pictures posted. It's beautiful and has a gorgeous terrace. Truly one of the more elegant venues I have seen I a while.
Very nice guided tour for young kids. A good venue to have family and friends reunion. Animals are kid's favorite and staff are very kind and knowledgeable. Love the experience.
Old historical place with traditional buildings and shops. Definitely a different experience out of the ordinary for anyone like to experience
We had our winter wedding at Liberty Grand in the Artifacts Room. We loved the contemporary room from the moment we did our first site visit, and the venue location is easy to get to for our guests traveling from outside of the city.

My husband and I are huge food lovers. Since we haven't gone to a wedding at Liberty Grand in a long time and there are not a lot of reviews about (or photos of) catering at the venue, we were worried that the food wasn't going to meet our expectations. We were very pleasantly surprised when we went to our tasting that everything we tried was so delicious that we had a hard time deciding on what to serve. We ended up going with the mushroom truffle foam soup, braised beef short rib, miso ginger glazed cod, potato truffle pave (soooo good), and apple crumble with ice cream. Our guests raved about the food...and the cocktails (and bartenders)!

We had both our ceremony and our reception at the venue, and the room flip was executed perfectly during the cocktail reception. My coordinator worked closely with me to ensure the room flow was exactly how I wanted (it was important to me that the bar and the dance floor were right next to each other).

The staff, from security guard to manager, were all so hospitable. Extra special mentions to Olga (catering manager) and Jessica (our coordinator) who went out of their way to make sure our wedding went smoothly and that we had everything we needed...we can't thank you enough!! We're so glad we chose such a special Toronto landmark for our special day.
I didnt know Black Creek Pioneer Village was a wedding venue, but im REALLY glad they are because its nothing short of goregous! As a wedding photographer, I shoot weddings all across Canada, so Ive seen hundreds of indoor/outdoor venues throughout my career, but I was absolutly amazed when I photographed a wedding here!

There are SO many spots that have beautiful sunlight peaking through which gives your images that glowly dreamy look! The grounds are beautiful maintained and has lots of rustic architecture to play with!

Pro-tip: Theres lots of buildings and windows around the grounds to give your photos a variety of looks!

I hope you found this helpful! If you like my images and you'd like to get in touch, connect with me through my website or IG

Too many people smoking inside, vaping and a bit out of control. No security to be found. I have asthma and I can’t handle the smoke. We left early right after midnight.
We tried to have a great time but to many guys trying to push us though the crowds. Honestly skip this place if you can, managements is horrible. I witness a couple got there stuff stolen. We waited for 30 min to get our drinks, not enough worker. The only thing that was smooth is the coat check because they put more employees working there.
I recently had the delightful opportunity to photograph a wedding at the Liberty Grand in Toronto, and it was an experience I won't soon forget. As a wedding photographer, I've seen quite a few venues, but the Liberty Grand is something special. Here's why:

The natural light in Liberty Grand is a photographer's dream. It floods the space, giving your wedding photos a vibrant, lively feel that's so essential in capturing the spirit of your big day. And the interiors? Timelessly elegant, they'll make every shot look like it's been lifted from the pages of a high-end bridal magazine.

What really took my breath away, though, was the outdoor space. The blend of urban and natural beauty in the gardens provides an incredible backdrop for those romantic, intimate shots. And in the evening, the lighting transforms the place into a magical, almost ethereal setting. It's like something out of a fairytale.

A little tip for brides considering this venue: take advantage of the Liberty Grand's grand staircase for a unique bridal entrance. It's not just a stunning architectural feature but makes for an unforgettable moment both in real life and in your photos. Imagine descending this staircase, your guests turning to gaze, the light catching your dress - it's a photographer's and a bride's dream!

Hope this helps!

BCPV is such a great afternoon experience for adults and kids. It's not too large or exhausting, and really feels like a mini theme park world - but a non-tacky one. Note that there weren't great food options there (we had a cold, pricey sandwich on a weekday December visit). But lots of Canadian history, informative tour guides, and a great gift shop - will be back again when the weather is warm!
Where do I start with the Eglinton Grand? As soon as Teresa showed us the venue we were hooked! Its charm and uniqueness captured the attention of all of our guests! My husband and I had a relatively shorter engagement (8 months) but Teresa allowed our timeline for payment and decisions to be smooth and effortless. We also booked when they had their "Inventory Sale" which is a great incentive to book to save some money!

The weeks leading up to the wedding there was constant communication from the events manager Paula. She was calling and emailing promptly and was a pleasure to work with. The day of events manager Gleb was very polite and on top of everything. He went around to every table to ensure guest satisfaction with their meals. One thing to note, we wanted our speeches to happen throughout dinner, back to back to back. The DJ was fine with it but the Grand staff took formal dining etiquette into account and wouldn't allow speeches during serving and clearing which pushed us back a bit (like half an hour). Overall, our experience was absolutely fabulous, I would have our reception there a million times over, and the staff is so on top of serving. Wine glasses were never empty, food was served and cleared promptly, and bar service was efficient.
I've photographed a number of weddings at the Elginton Grand over the last decade and it continues to be one of my favorite venues in all of the city! The iconic marquee alone is reason enough to book an event here! The uniqueness of the venue cannot be understated. This is a true gem in the city of Toronto and I look forward to photographing there every chance I can get.

Went here for a Simbang Gabi event, and although the place is cozy and space is limited, there were still enough attendees and vendors that made the night fun!
Great atmosphere/venue , excellent services, yummy food choices and truly lovely grounds by the Lake. Getting there by GO transit was a cinch! Exit at Exhibition Station and walked West along well lit sidewalks! We even saw a police person on a horse patrol! Never felt safer in the evening…. The wait staff do their best to accommodate special requests. Only wish they were informed about the white and red wines we were being offered! Thanks and big shout out to Prashant Issar, FA for inviting us. You are taking care of business! It was great to meet fellow neighbourhood folks. Plus to hear some informative, illustrative financial stories and practical strategies from Calgary’s GAM lively presenter Rick…cheers and all the best to you and your families over the holidays.

Beautiful spaces. Incredibly well appointed rooms. Everyone in staff was friendly, helpful and supportive. Food and drink were perfect, both at Le Bar and room service. Walk ability to things in the center of downtown is a little distance but not too bad. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

We had our wedding at the beautiful Eglinton Grand on Oct 15 of 2023 and my god was it the best decision we ever made.
Everyone was amazed by the theme and the venue and how different it is from anything they have ever been to.
An now to the most important part which is the people at the venue.
We dealt with Sarah and Paula and we have no words to describe how AMAZING they have been throughout the process.
Not only would they accommodate the panic calls the week of the wedding. But they actually suggest things to make our life easier and our wedding even more magical. You can tell they are passionate about what they do and are genuinely helping out like they are our own wedding planners.
Even Artur the master of the sound and light at the venue was happy to jump on calls with us and accommodate all the ideas we had to make that night perfect. And it was just that.
The night went ahead without hiccups, and even if there were any which i am sure there was, the team there did an amazing job of handling it.
In short, this place is magical and unique and so are the people working there that happily made our dream wedding come to life.
Thank you
The FSHO's attention to detail and service is unmatched. We enjoyed a lovely workplace holiday party here. While the food was of high quality, the buffet style items were lukewarm at best. There weren't enough seats for all guests in attendance, making it difficult for those who were eating a chicken leg, or slice of prime rib. Perhaps cocktail style bites would be a better idea, especially if not everyone can be seated for the meal.
I have stayed at this hotel now countless times and they always impress. They treat my daughter like a princess and always go above and beyond to make us feel special. However I especially appreciate their customer service. As with any building and establishment things are not always perfect but the Four Seasons always comes up with creative problem solving and I’ve never been disappointed with their solutions. We will be back!
It is a great place to experience the old times in Canada. You can see couple of people with old outfits to help you absorb the vibe.
It was a pitty that couple of houses were closed and the dollhouse exibition was not there anymore...
I was here last night on a group tour, most kids in third grade would have remembered pioneer village.

But at night it was definitely different.
The lovely Kent from haunted tours, took us around stopping at select houses and telling us the backstories and occurrences that have happened. Or so they say....

The one house I felt my chest get heavy and a slight headache was the Maser house. Located across the cemetery. Listen carefully to the story and be careful during your visit.

All in all , it was a good walk and cool ro see the village. I recommend it.

**** possible sighting

I've attached 2 photos taken by the cemetery. Look above the tallest tombstone between the 2 posted here. There is a red orb.

Happy travels.
It was so entertaining. This museum beautifully captures the essence of the 18 century, showcasing the lifestyles, houses, and jobs of that era. A fascinating journey into history! Well organized.
Stayed in rooms before but I usually go for spa services mostly. Love the layout of the spa. You get to use the steam room and pool if you have spa appointment. My favourite is salt stone. I'm lucky to try all usually go with my mother. Sometimes in a room where they accommodate both of us or single rooms. The masseuse always are pleasant and welcoming. Theres also small snack bar area to refresh with some tea and things. Overall I always end up going back despite the price. I tried my best to go and venture but haven't found one near me that satisfies me like this one.
This wonderful place gives you a great idea how the pioneers and early immigrants live in Toronto area. The Stong family (came to Canada 🇨🇦 from Ireland during the potato famine in 1830-40s) houses, tinsmith, blacksmith, printing shop, physician house, local hotel and brewery are all to be seen in this beautiful place. Tickets cost $18 per adult. Parking is extra. There is a shop to buy some souvenirs.
Brought a group to Toronto to see a Blue Jays game. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the stadium. I had a regular room, not one of the Status ones. It was well appointed, had all the amenities one would expect plus a few more nice ones. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back here.
Honestly i would 100% recommend!

Staff was amazing , super nice , always smiling and beeing helpful anytime needed.

Great bar in there , bartenders were super nice , prices there were also very reasonable considering we were in Downtown Toronto.

Got a room last minute with two queen beds at the 32 floor with a crazy view for under 230$!

Room was top clean , still like i said highly recommend 👌
Beautiful hotel in downtown Toronto. The room was spacious, towels 2/5, ac 5/5, view 4/5, breakfast 2/5, lobby 5/5.
We arrived before the 4pm check-in time and they were gracious enough to give us the key to the room.
There must be a public clock somewhere close by that chimes every hour on the hour and kept waking us up all night.
We had the most exceptional wedding thanks to Liberty Grand in the Artifacts Room. Their team worked with us closely for a year prior and all our correspondences were professional and timely. All our guests raved about the food and the smoothness of the day. Every staff member we we encountered were so lovely and worked tireless to make our day perfect. Our coordinator Jessica Rio was 10/10. It was worth the price tag for this venue and we are so happy we chose it.
Great location, convention center was a solid venue and really well equipped. They even had ordeuves, or however you spell it. Waiters were walking around serving us food. Was here for an event. Loved it. Lobby smelled like perfume
Typical Marriott location. A little noisy because of the proximity to the airport but not disruptive at all. Clean as expected. The event and housekeeping staff were amazing!!!
We’ve stayed in 6 hotels in Eastern Canada on vacation and this hotel by far and wide was the best. Even being next to the airport, I don’t hear planes from our room on the top floor. The room feels new, clean, spacious and fresh. The concierge lounge is top notch. Great daytime snacks and beverages, fantastic food at night and the breakfast was fantastic. Our host Sylvie is the nicest person, she is truly a gem. She has great customer service and treats everyone so well. She’s like your favorite auntie, and always in the best, upbeat personality.

Had an amazing dinner here. The outside patio is a hidden gem, I recommend it highly for a quieter dinner. The food was perfect. Service impeccable. Amazing!
Super pleased with the room. Clean, plenty of space with a desk and a fridge. Nice size bathroom, modern and well maintained. Had a great view. The bed was extremely comfortable. Great location, within walking distance to anything downtown. The food and drinks are a bit on the pricier side.
Is a great place to spend a day outdoors.
The houses are small and the village isn't so big but there are benches along the way you can sit and enjoy an afternoon.
You can also buy some food and drinks and yes they sell beer!
Super convenient location, close to most things, easy to access location by car and walking downtown. Rooms were alright, below average compared to other Marriotts I’ve stayed at, bathroom wasn’t super clean and the AC was non existent. Very dim lighting and ice/vending machines were not working on my floor. Most of the staff were super nice but one of them in particular was super careless and didn’t really care about their customers.

Lots of other options in Toronto Marriott and not Marriott, I would suggest checking another property before booking this one.

We've been here many times but it is still enjoyable. The kids (teenager and beyond) still enjoy the outing. Watching the 'free run' chickens was very enjoyable. They seemed very happy. The Billy goat enjoyed her rake message. The sheep is very friendly. We visited the different houses and the attendant tells a good history, but the barn animals are so alluring.
Air Canada did us zero favors but it was great staying at this hotel after flight cancellations. Same day booking with great rooms. No microwave was in our suite was only draw back. With a toddler that would of helped us a bit with his food. Otherwise very pleased with this hotel.

We planned to come here for the tasting menu but as we made reservations we noticed they had an event that combined drinks and appetizers at bar Secrette and a 3 course meal at the restaurant so we chose this instead. Bar: stylish, cozy but unfortunately empty (one other couple) so the atmosphere was lacking a bit but it was early in the evening. The cocktails were delicious , flavourful and interesting so were the appetizers. Restaurant: the part that really stood out was the service at George. The staff makes you feel very welcome and special. My Lobster salad was delicious and presentation spot on. Atmosphere was a bit too stiff for me.

Came here for an anniversary dinner and holy hell this place is worth the hype. I have never been to this caliber of restaurant before so maybe I'm a bit biased but this blew me away! We sat on the beautiful courtyard patio which was so intimate and romantic. The service was impeccable, sommelier Patrick was unbelievably knowledgeable and let us ask him a million questions. We tasted a couple wines and had a bottle of Mother Rock Holocene from 2020 on his recommendation and it was such a zippy and interesting wine! The food was outstanding, presentation was unbelievable. Each dish was explained to us by the lovely servers who were all so nice! We had the 7 course vegetarian tasting menu - and my partner and I were each served DIFFERENT dishes! Plus an "amuse bouche compliments of the chef" which was so nice. Each dish was so interesting and delicious, we had lengthy conversations about each trying to identify flavours. Just amazing. And they even decorated our dessert plates with a Happy Anniversary wish! So thoughtful. The experience took us about 3.5 hours. Would recommend this to anyone celebrating a special occasion. Very pricey of course but worth every penny. I didn't take a ton of photos because I wanted to be off my phone but hopefully these give you an idea of the artistry at play here!

The only reason I stayed here in the past with my children was because of the rooftop pool. We loved it and thus the reason we paid more than other hotels around the area to visit it again. This time around though, we were very disappointed with the pool setup. If you want to sit anywhere around the pool that is outside, all of the chairs have "Reserved" signs on them with a QR code to scan and pay to reserve them. I was told that you get a few snacks and have to pay $85 to reserve 2 chairs. Apparently it is so outside people can pay to use the pool but not have to stay at the hotel. Makes no sense at all. When I pay $1,000 to stay for 2 nights, that price should at least include the ability to sit near the pool outside. What is the benefit to the person paying to stay at the hotel? Never have I ever stayed at a hotel and had to pay to sit near the pool before. I have two young children that I need to watch while swimming and they wanted to jump in the deep end, but I can't do that properly if I have to sit far away from the pool and behind flower pots. In the 3 days we were there, not once did I see anyone renting the chairs. They all sat empty while everyone had to sit back behind flower pots. Absolutely ridiculous. Definitely will not be returning when that was the only reason we paid way more to stay there than other hotel options.

What a lovely place for a dinner date night! The restaurant hit the right spot! If it wasn’t a Tuesday night, we would’ve tried the wine pairing. We ended up choosing the 7-course Tasting Menu and was blown away by each and every course. What’s amazing is each person receives a different dish; 14 different dish! Our food kept coming and coming and not one dish disappointed! The 5-course would’ve definitely be more than enough, but the 7-course was an amazing choice for our first visit. Can’t wait to return and try their A La Carte menu. The atmosphere was lovely and would ask to be seated in the middle next time to really take in the atmosphere of the restaurant.
We had the best experience at this hotel. The rooms are very quiet and comfortable. We also enjoyed the pool and the gym. Shout out to Joyce from housekeeping who made our stay even more comfortable. She's such a nice and caring person who made us feel at home every time we met her in the hallway. The kids were blown away by her nice gesture (picture attached).
This is exactly what you’d expect for a Four Seasons property. Excellence all the way around. Room was great and the service was excellent. A well run hotel. The spa and pool were phenomenal as well as the gym.

Service was impeccable. Everyone from the concierge to the valet were awesome. Upon requesting your car the guys literally sprint to the garage. We travelled with a Tesla and they ensure it was charged up every night without fail. The concierge helped arrange a beautiful birthday bouquet and cake. Top notch and great value.

If I had to give any areas for improvement I would say that the robes at the spa are superior to those in the rooms and the sheets and towels could be upgraded in the rooms.

No questions asked this is my go to Toronto hotel.
If you are coming to Eaton Center, Dundas Square, Nathan Phillips Square, or even the City Hall then this location is the perfect one.
From my experience, this hotel is very expensive for what it's offering. There was a line-up for check-in and it was only one staff at the front desk. My room was full of dust and the towels were dirty. Not mentioning how noisy it was. Every time someone opens their room door in the hallway sounds like someone opening my door. The swimming pool is so small and dirty. I'm just disappointed with this experience.
This was my first stay at this hotel. Delightful and attentive staff. The decor is top notch. The floral arrangements in the hall are amazing works of art.

Housekeeping was on point. Everything was thought of during my stay.

Front desk staff were thorough and efficient.

The only thing I would improve is the valet service. There were so many valets and they all congregated around one podium. I would suggest more than one podium.many of them did not seem to know what to do. It caused some waiting. It wasn’t a major problem but I’m sure wealthy people would mind and probably say something.

Don’t do a swan dive on the bed. It’s not as plush as it looks.

There is a secret door with the ice machine on your floor. Ask where it is located.

The pool was nice. There is an outside seating area just beyond the pool. That was lovely and serene despite the construction outside the hotel.

I did not try the food or the spa. I went elsewhere.

I’m not accustomed to 5 star hotels. It’s not too bad. It’s a beautiful property.

It was a nice vacation and a nice view into how the wealthy live.

Thanks Four Seasons. Job well done!

If you ever need a spokesperson I’m for hire 🤣

I stumbled upon the only affordable and tidy hotel in downtown Toronto for late August. The room looks exactly as shown in the photos, and I'm really digging the industrial decor vibe. The room might be a bit small(easy to bump on the furnitures), but the bathroom is surprisingly spacious.

The only downside? The air conditioner is super loud, which is a bit of a bummer. My earplugs saved my life. But aside from that, it's a pretty quiet hotel, even though there's a loud event happening downstairs.

The place is very nice.
The tasting menu is very interesting and a must try.

However, unfortunately, there have been few mistakes not expecting by a restaurant by its standing.

First was serving us plates that were for another table and got taken our immediately, second, we mentioned specifically no bacon and no foie gras, and we got served both, and it is only while the waiter was explaining the plates, we realised and mentioned it otherwise no one noticed!

Having said that, the restaurant remains exceptionally good and a must try if in Toronto.

We had a really positive experience having our wedding here. It was a beautiful night and the service and food were great. Everything went very smoothly!
Lovely room, great view, the staff was professional. The elegance and the professional of a true 5 star hotel can be seen in the Four Seasons. The staff served with a smile from the valet to the concierge and the front house. Housekeeping staff were excellent. The floor manager left a small gift in our room, welcoming us to the hotel. Our 3 day staff was absolutely fantastic. They made us conformable. My kids and wife loved the the hotel. My kids enjoyed the collection of cars in the foyer. It’s was an amazing stay and I think we will be back in 3 years time. Well done Four Seasons and keep the flag flying…..
A highly recommended hotel. The property was great, the staff was friendly and the service was also nice.
The property is well maintained. You can choose this is you have an early morning flight from Toronto, since this is too close to the airport and you can skip the city traffic to reach the airport on time.
The staff at this location deserve 5 stars. Each one I dealt with was professional and very helpful. The bar staff was great as well.
Only reason 4 stars, is that the rooms are a bit smaller and dated compared to others on this strip. Also the noise from the halls comes into the rooms a bit louder than I'm used to at some hotels.

That being said, I'd still recommend staying here, and again their service is top notch.
Love the location and when you get there you will be served by door/bell person like Alex very friendly and helpful which made all our tiredness from long trip to eased. At the front desk definitely the hotel must put more agents, you see empty counter and the lineup to check in way big you will tell the management must work on putting more employees. Remember when guest check in they need your services not your beds. Love the 🏋️‍♀️ love the swimming pool very clean too.
Was put up at this hotel during a conference this May. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel's location is ideal in terms of being right downtown, and its proximity to the Eaton Centre was a definite plus. Overall, a gorgeous spot. Definitely on the pricier side, but a price I believe is justified for the quality of the hotel, its amenities, its location, and its lovely staff.

We first fell in love with Hotel Ocho because it's such a beautiful space, and it was by far the most affordable option we found in downtown Toronto.

But, over the months of working with Sela to plan our wedding, we were blown away by the kindness and professionalism we were shown.

Sela answered every email and question, no matter how small, and helped us put together a perfect day.

The staff on the day of went above and beyond to make sure our guests felt accommodated and taken care of.

We've already received so many compliments on the food, service and accommodation of needs like allergies. We are so happy to have chosen Ocho and couldn't recommend it more.

Bravo GEORGE Restaurant! This is what fine dining in Toronto is all about. We're still on cloud nine after the beautiful evening we had at this gorgeous restaurant. They handled our dinner party exceptionally well. All of my family and guests were so impressed by the quality of food and level of service. A big thank you to Mark, Alex, Eli, John, and Chef Lorenzo and his team, who all offered an exceptional dining experience that truly made our night so special! Also, a warm thank you to Anna, George Restaurant's event planner. Anna's highly communicative, honest and flexible approach made planning our event a fun and effortless experience.

The food - Phenomenal! Delicious and aesthetically stunning dishes. Each course was carefully crafted, cooked to perfection and plated so beautifully. The portions were just right. For a fine dining establishment, they were surprisingly quite big. Overall, we were very content with the calibre of food and the quality of service provided.

If you're looking for a new favourite restaurant in Toronto, GEORGE Restaurant is a must try! A truly incredible venue to host all of your dinners and events.

Great place to learn more about the history. When I walked in, it felt like stepping into the Netflix series "Wednesday"!
The area is spacious, taking around 2 more hours. Be aware of the sun! Make sure to do some prevention in advance.
Also has a great souvenir store inside!
I went there on Canada Open Day 2023; not sure if it needs a ticket or not.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. I had my rehearsal dinner the Friday before my wedding at Hotel Ocho, and it was the most amazing event. Sela (event coordinator) goes above and beyond in every way. She answers emails, phone calls and questions instantaneously. She is gracious and patient and brings the best, genuine, upbeat vibes to your event while catering to your every need. I cannot say enough good things. All of the staff at Hotel Ocho are amazing, every server and bartender was the perfect balance of fun and polished professionalism, especially the manager Morgan, who goes above and beyond! The staff here really add the extra sparkle to an already awesome space. The venue itself is gorgeous, the food is amazing...it's hard for me to picture having an event anywhere else in the future.

10/10.
The rooms are looking seriously dated and rough. Perfect if you love shades of beige and brown. The pool is great but they block off half the lounging chairs with ‘reserved’ signage so come early if you don’t want to sit on the ground. Location is great but I wouldn’t stay here again.
The room was a little dated and the bathroom was very hard to navigate. the hotel didn't have any laundry facilities so we had to pay $85 for a service. All that being said EVERYTHING else was top-notch. The service was impeccable ---You could find hep anywhere without waiting, the Concierge floor (43rd) level was one of the best I have been to and we have traveled all over the world. Full Breakfasts and dinner, coffees, drinks and the best staff we used it daily and LOVED it. I would recommend this hotel. Also the location was very central so we were able to walk almost everywhere. The photo of waterfall from Lobby.
I love the location of this property.

It's is a great property, although it gets busy at times. The ambiance felt luxurious, and you could rely on the staff for any kind of help you need.

I came here with friends to visit the restaurant, although you go through the hotel lobby before getting into the restaurant.

I used the valet parking option, and it was rush hour at the time of my check-in/out. It took some time before bringing up my car, which i understand how hard the staff work to make things smoother. That's the only downside. Otherwise, everything is great!
I recently stayed at the Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect for my needs as it's just minutes away from the airport, making it convenient for travelers. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that all my needs were met throughout my stay.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The comfortable bed provided a good night's sleep after a long flight, and the blackout curtains helped me get some much-needed rest. The room also had modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge, and a coffee maker, which added to the overall comfort.

The hotel's facilities were top-notch. The fitness center was well-equipped with a variety of exercise machines, and I appreciated the option to stay active during my stay. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals with a great selection of dishes, and the breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide range of options to suit different preferences.

One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone was attentive and made sure I had a pleasant stay. They were always ready to assist with any questions or requests, making me feel valued as a guest.

The Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of both comfort and service. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient and enjoyable stay near the airport. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Toronto.

A nice family outing. There were 11 of us so we got a private room. We had 7 course tasting menu. The food was great so was the service. This was the second time here for us and we will be back for sure

Enjoyed our stay here recently. Great location, nice clean room, and very comfortable bed. Only thing I would change is maybe moving check in time from 4pm to 3 pm and perhaps adding a door to the bathroom. Will definitely be staying there again though!
I have never had such incredible service at any hotel I've been to. Everybody was very friendly and helpful without feeling too stuffy either.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. Location is excellent as well.
I also felt very safe here, which is important. As a female smoker, I'm often outside alone which can feel uncomfortable depending on where you are. Here, the smoking section was across from valet as well as visible to the front desk. There comfortable chairs to sit with my morning coffee as well.
All in all, my partner and I have already decided this will be were we stay anytime we're in the area.
Set in the 1860's and overall a great experience.

Some things to note:
You can get a discount for parking so bring your parking ticket with you when you go inside to buy the ticket for the village. At the counter you can ask them to add parking and they give it to you for a bit cheaper.

It did seem a bit deserted on a Sunday and a lot of the places did not have any people in them to guide you. It was if they were opening them slowly even though it was 1pm and they close at 4pm.

There are not a lot of food options there so bring snacks! They do sell cookies and bread there but it was expensive. For example, it was $1 per cookie as it is freshly made. It is hard to find water there so it is better to bring a water bottle with you.

It would take a total of 2 hours to go through everything.

Food here is decent, but the real highlight is the space. If you need a place for large groups (ex: ~10 people), the dining area here is normally pretty open so you don’t normally need a reservation ahead of time. The staff are also super nice and accommodating.

The kimchi fries don’t really have any kimchi - they’re more cheese fries with mayo and seaweed. They’re still pretty good, but not legitimate kimchi fries, so keep that in mind when ordering!
Loved it! I was there for one night and I loved everything about this hotel. The staff was so friendly and accommodating from when I checked in until when I checked out. The location, you can't get better than being in the heart of downtown. With the Eaton Centre around the corner plus a variety of restaurants, movie theater, it's such a great spot! My room was spacious, the bed was so comfortable and I enjoyed the walk in shower. The only thing I wish was that room service was served the old fashion way with plates and real cutlery instead of it coming in a take out bag. However, I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

The blind tasting menu (chef’s choice) is available in 5, 7, or 10 courses but 5 is more than enough to satiate even the biggest appetite. Each dish has a wonderful combination of flavours but what really sets this restaurant apart is the variety. The two of us ordered the 5 course and we were each served different dishes which allowed us to try a total of 10 dishes.

The menu starts with an amuse bouche, followed by a chilled seafood dish, a foie gras, meat, cheese, and then dessert.

My personal favourites of the night were the king oyster mushroom amuse bouche, the crab, the squab foie, the boar, the thea cheese, and the lemon tart.

Our server, who was excellent, suggested the City of Lights and Peachy Keen cocktails and he did not disappoint. Peachy Keen is especially great if you’re not too keen on the taste of alcohol.

I can't thank Hotel OCHO enough for its location because everything about it is really just central. I had an event so I was really grateful that I had got somewhere a stone throw away.

The rooms are great and spacious and the character each room has just makes it 1000% worth it. Its one of those boutique hotels where everything has that special feeling.

The brick walls, huge windows, and great shower experience are one of the few things that makes this hotel stand out.

I have a series of meeting in Toronto and I really hope to spend a couple more weeks there.

Excellent location, staff were really friendly and professional. The room was large, clean and comfortable with big windows. The bed was especially comfortable.

There are lots of great coffee shops very close, especially Dark Horse.

Couple of small suggestions - one of the cleaning products used has a very strong smell, perhaps open the windows after using it?
It would also have been great to have the window opening lever/crank in the room when we checked in.

Came here for the Stop Farmers' Market, which takes place every Saturday. The vendors here sell a variety of goods, including mochi (Japanese rice cakes), fresh bread, vegetables, fish, candles, and chocolate. I mainly came for the mochi daifuku, which is sold by Natural JapanEats. They have a range of flavours to choose from and the flavours change every week. I bought a box of 6 daifuku for $26. The flavours I got were coconut, sakura leaf, fig cream, matcha, and pomelo. They all tasted delicious and fresh. Natural JapanEats also sells kiri mochi and sushi. The women working at the booth were very friendly. I'm glad that I got to try their products because fresh mochi can be hard to find in Toronto, especially mochi in unique flavours. I highly recommend checking out Natural JapanEats at the Stop Farmers' Market.
We had our wedding reception at the Eglinton Grand in December 2022 and it was an incredible experience for us and our guests. Working with Teresa, Paula, Mikal, and Joe made everything easy and enjoyable. They were extremely accommodating, responsive and professional. They cared for every detail and the service was exceptional. This venue is stunning!! Truly an unique event space that gives off an elegant and classy vibe. Our guests loved it! The "Grand first dance" as the curtains opened wowed our guests and the customized marquee was a beautiful detail that made our wedding stand out. The food was fantastic - we still keep getting compliments on it! We wish we could cater it in - it's that good! The evening staff cared for all of our guests and were extremely mindful and helpful. We had a few guests that needed the elevator which was easy to use, and the staff were attentive all night long. Joe and Mikal checked in on us and our parents and bridal party tables to ensure everything was to our liking. They made everyone feel like royalty. The food service was quick, hot, and right on schedule. Joe even re-folded my mother-in-laws napkin when she got up from the table. The bartenders were amazing - they were quick to serve our guests, and were friendly and polite. We also received many compliments on the mocktails that were served. Every part of the venue was in pristine condition; the washrooms, the lobby, the mezzanine, and main space. Being an old movie theater, the sound quality throughout the venue was remarkable - unlike some traditional halls, at the Eglinton Grand, you don't have to worry about the echo of sound bouncing off walls or being louder in some parts of the space. The entire team at the Eglinton Grand are experienced, detail oriented and can be fully trusted to host your event. If you are looking for a high-end venue and a high quality experience, this is the place. We highly recommend this venue and team. Our wedding day was perfect! Thank you for going above and beyond and for making our day so special.

We recently had our wedding reception hosted at The Eglinton Grand and cannot recommend it enough.

The admin staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the booking and planning process. The coordinator made sure everything was on schedule and went smoothly, which is much appreciated. We had added tequila to the bar, and ran out sooner than expected, so we were kindly offered the option to add a couple more.

We had a few early guests who were allowed to wait inside, rather than by the busy street. Then when we arrived, the chef kindly delivered us a personal bottle of champagne and appetizers. We were starving due to a busy day, and this thoughtful gesture blew us away!

The kitchen staff made sure the wine was always topped up, never had to ask. All tables were provided excellent service. Overall the food was phenomenal!!! We got a lot of positive feedback from the guests. Bartenders were friendly and attentive, and all other staff members seemed friendly, even during the pre-wedding setup.

Many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they've been to, and that says a lot. Much thanks to the wonderful staff at The Eglinton Grand for making it happen!
We had our wedding at the Eglinton Grand, and we could not be happier with our choice. The venue is unique, historical, artistic, vibrant, elegant and charismatic. The staff were incredible, extremely helpful and warm. They were organized, and very familiar with the needs of the couple. Thank you for having us, and giving us and our guests a beautiful night.

Eglinton Grand is a nice cozy place for
celebrating your important event. It's great for medium sitdown events of 80 - 150 but can accommodate more. It has a ballroom on the second floor, divided into 2 parts by the dance floor in the middle, stage for the head table or music band; the separate ceremony room on the third floor with separate entrance, another space is the reception with the bar on the third floor separate from ceremony and overlooking the main ballroom from above with cinema style huge curtains that can be closed during reception and then open to watch the first dance of new weds. The hall at the main entrance on the first floor with the original theater movie entrance. There is also small bride room next to the hall. It's a very attractive and efficient place for the weddings9 and other events.
Went on market day and loved it!!! Tried some fresh onigiri and mochi, brought home cilantro olive sourdough bread and had a great chat with a few vendors. 10/10 morning.

Dropped by this weekend to check out the garlic fest and it was lovely! I would go back again in the future. I hear there are weekly farmers markets so if I am ever in need of locally grown fresh organic produce, I’ll be sure to stop by here.

A neat place to plan your presentation and events. Loved the land acknowledgement on the wall.
Attended Halloween Howl with Solid and Rob with my little ones. Amazing show if you have not taken it in. The farmers market is not to be missed either. Highly recommended. It's a good way to meet other members of the community and it's important to teach our children how they can be part of the local community.

Very “modern” looking place... big floor to ceiling windows, cement walls, hanging lanterns.. etc. great for small events. Parking is right at the basement of the building and less than $10 after 5 on weekends.

Airy spacious and luminous with plenty of natural light at the atrium. This is an impressive space for artists and designers to showcase and exhibit their products and pieces.

Great little atmosphere. They displayed the Lights Skin and Earth exhibit beautifully. I wish there had been more video footage. Would have loved to have seen a bit more process there. But never the less was amazing to see her growth from the flow of art. ♡ Hope to see other artists there soon.

A nice way to connect with the neighborhood and community. One get authentic fish roti, Tibetan momo's, homemade sushi and miso soup, fresh pastries, baked goodies, cheese, meat and fruit and vegetables. The price is a bit high but it's worth it.

Both times I went here it was for the foodie pages pop-up holiday market. The space itself is quite roomy with ample space for stalls and walking in-between them. I'm also a big fan of the high ceilings there.
