I had t😙😙he Fish and Chips I didn't care for it. And the waiter did not make it any better didn't offer any changes so I left on my plate two piece of fish corn and a roll. Not Happy 😔😔

I've had the pleasure of being part of many weddings and events in this beautiful venue. My favorite parts are the small grass hills, the small pond and the choice to have your ceremony and reception all in one location. The staff is very supportive and the food is always amazing.

The golf course is excellent. It is well maintained from the greens to the fairways and rough. The fairways are really forgiving, meaning wide. The greens are really fast, even going up hill, so be prepared for it. The only thing is didn't like is how far some of the tees are from the greens
It isn't a problem if you're using a cart, but if you're walking, it's a good amount of walking. The driving range is small and was all filled up. It's cool they have a trackman at almost all the spots. If you decide to use the trackman, it is extra, but you do get a large bucket included with it.

One of my kids favorite playgrounds. Rarely crowded, far off the street, small but good variety. But don't come here. I wanna keep it empty. 😁

We just got married at the beginning of April and I cannot recommend the eBell of Long Beach enough!! The venue is absolutely gorgeous, the staff were so kind and extremely helpful. They answered all of my questions quickly and provided great input and recommendations to help me plan the perfect wedding. They include SO much compared to other venues and they really make the entire experience easy and enjoyable. The food was delicious as well—we got SO many compliments from our guests!
We had such an amazing time and everything ran so smooth. Such an unforgettable night and we owe that to the EBell!

My now husband and I got married at the Sanctuary on 3/9/24 and I can not give the venue and staff enough praise. Wedgewood Weddings allow for customization and helpful guidance along the way to make the planning experience as seamless as possible. They truly think of EVERYTHING. We were so thankful to have both bridal and groom suites to allow us and our parties to get ready without rushing. The venue has 3 areas for wedding ceremony and reception, which is extremely convenient. We were really drawn to the vintage charm of the venue and the ease of working with a reputable company like Wedgewood. Big shout out to Sarah J and the rest of the team for making our dreams come true. I can't believe Sarah helped me put my veil on and bustled my dress. She is truly an angel. Our guests loved the oven roasted salmon & braised short rib duo plates.

If you're looking for a Spanish/ Boho/ Vintage vibe. This is the spot. The texture of this place is really exciting to shoot against. Bold exposed beams, dark stained wood frames...its history oozes through the photos. The place feels very grown up. Very mature. Thinking back on it reminds me of cigar lounges and red lipstick.

Great space for a wedding. It’s like a one stop shop! They redid the space and it’s simple and beautiful!

A very large 2 story adobe completely restored. The house is furnished, the blacksmith shop is stocked up, the laundry is prepared for work, the storage room is full. Tours of the house and gardens are available. Small gift shop. Lots of parking. Large native plant garden.

Wedgewood Weddings has been around for generations, and for good reason. When I began planning for our wedding, I was overwhelmed with choices – choices I didn't even know I needed to concern myself with. Because of this, I knew from the get go that I would need an all-inclusive venue, but I didn't expect to find one with the flexibility, collaboration, and intention that Wedgewood provides for their couples.

I would recommend this company over and over again, and I can only sing the highest of praises for The Sanctuary in Long Beach as a venue and for the staff that works there. Thank you, truly, for the effort you put into coordinating an organized, beautiful wedding. We appreciate the attentiveness, were impressed by the execution, and grateful for the overall warmth and kindness of your staff to us and our loved ones.

I received SO many compliments about the whole day and how seamless everything was. I couldn't have done it without any of you! If we had the budget to have a second and third wedding, I'd do it all over again and I'd do it with Wedgewood. (Which, I hope speaks volumes to the quality of their service because I know many brides that definitely would not go through the wedding planning process ever again.)

Going with Wedgewood Weddings was the best decision we have made during the entire wedding planning process! The Sanctuary caught our eye, not only because it was close to home, but because it was unique and different from the generic Country Club/Golf Club venue. The stained glass windows in the Cathedral and the Reception Hall were so incredibly beautiful and unique. Everything just had a very rustic charm that we loved so much. We also loved the fact that everything was onsite and we had both outdoor and indoor elements. We loved having the entire venue to ourselves and didn’t have to share with any other people! We just fell in love with everything about the venue. It really felt like a private event. We did the venue tour with Annie and she was the biggest help and so lovely to work with! She was incredibly responsive the entire time and she made the planning process so easy and fun! She gave all the information we needed to make an informed decision which made it easy to choose The Sanctuary! On the day of the wedding, Olivia and the team were super warm and welcoming of us and our entire family/guests. My husband is still raving about how well they catered to us on the day of. They made sure that we always had a drink in our hands and something to munch on while we were taking pictures so we didn’t miss out on our cocktail hour appetizers. We wanted for nothing! The food was incredible and our guests absolutely loved it! There was enough for people to go back for seconds AND they even packed my husband and I a togo box at the end of the night! They were incredibly communicative the whole time with us. I never thought that a wedding could be so stress free! Thank you so much again to The Sanctuary Wedgewood Team for making it such an effortless process!

I love this place. Been going since I was a child and it never disappoints. The ambiance and historical nature of the rancho will never be forgotten.
Took the self guided tour but I would recommend the tour for first timers.

I was on this dinner cruise New Year’s Eve 2023 and staff greeted me and my significant other with courtesy and a smile. After being given champagne and seated at a window while other guest were seated, my server came over and introduced herself. I’m a first timer with Hornblower and I guess I expected too much or was it? First off I want to say, all the servers were great and the food was good. But what I had a problem with was the DJ was stuck with his music catalog in the 60’s/70’s. Not one dance song was played that was current or even past the 90’s genre. I was talking to another guest who advised me that they made request but they were ignored. Come on city cruises, its a New Years Eve party not a geriatric party with somebody turning 80 years old. Myself and a few other couples were giving the DJ the benefit of the doubt that he would change the era of music he was playing, but it never happened. I guess in order to hear the music some guest wanted to dance to, you had to slip the DJ a little $$ on the side as what I saw. Paid a lot of money for this special night only to sit on the sidelines to music that was not dance music or something I could not dance too. The cruise was nice, but the DJ messed the whole vibe up for the night. First impression is the last impression. I surely will not be doing this again at least not with this company..

Amazing historic ranch with orchards and gardens that is free to visit! I loved it! Peaceful and educational. The visitor center staff tells you sone of the history along with a video and an exhibit. Definitely recommend!

The Sanctuary is a gorgeous venue for a wedding. The white-painted walls, elegant arches, and gorgeous stained glass throughout are a wonderful blend of style, elegance, class, and simplicity. We (and our guests) loved the ability to have distinct, on-site spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and the space has a nice flow to it. The courtyard is magical in the evening with the string lights and a quiet retreat from the boisterous dance floor for guests. The layout and construction of the venue also feel like a retreat or oasis tucked away right in the heart of Long Beach--it's another world past the gates. Dedicated, guarded parking on the same block is a huge plus!

My wife and I really valued the bundles and flexibility offered by Wedgewood. Wedding planning can be overwhelming with each small detail a potential infinity of research, options, and vendors. The Sanctuary allowed us to flexibly opt in and out of different packages, which dramatically simplified our planning process without feeling like we couldn't make the day personal to us. The options available, but also the possibility of changing our minds on details so close to the day of the wedding gave us much peace of mind.

However, what really sold us on the Sanctuary was Annie, who spearheaded our visit and experience from day one with support from Kevin and Sarah. Annie was bubbly, personable, and made us feel that we were in good, competent hands that cared about our day being wonderful and fitted to who we are and our love story. She, Kevin, and Sarah throughout were so welcoming, happy to see us, supportive, and available to answer our questions. It was surely Annie who sold us on the space, and then in collaboration with Kevin and Sarah kept us unworried and confident in the six months leading up to our big day and afterwards.

Olivia and Samantha did a phenomenal job as our day-of coordinator and banquet captain--neither my wife nor I had to take care of anything day-of--everything went so smoothly! And Fredy was a fantastic DJ. He gave us gentle nudges when we needed to start dancing before the photographers left, was kind and friendly throughout, and left the room for our private last dance, which was such a nice touch.

Our guests over and over had such lovely things to say about the venue, food, and staff.

Thank you so much for helping us make our special day so painless, beautiful, and, well, special.

It's a surprisingly large venue. It would be nice if they had some reserved parking.

We had an amazing experience having our wedding at the EBell Club Long Beach. We fell in love with the unique look and feel of the venue. So much so that it was a destination wedding for us and our guests (we’re from the east coast). We really couldn’t find another venue as eye opening and memorable. Each room was the perfect backdrop for our wedding pictures, whether it was the lush greenery in the courtyard, beautiful tiles, enchanting lights, or charming decor in the parlor. Jen, Katie, and the Tres LA team were wonderful to work with. They were organized, communicative, accommodating, and promptly responded to any questions we had. Their warm and approachable demeanor made the entire wedding planning process so much easier. They really cared about providing us and our guests with an unforgettable event. Moreover, Tres LA offered a diverse menu, beautiful plating, and delicious food. They were able to make fully custom drinks that had special meanings to us. The entire team went above and beyond what we wanted. We’re so happy we decided to have our once in a lifetime event at a once in a lifetime venue.

The Sanctuary is gorgeous! I attended a corporate meeting here back at the beginning of August, and the space was stunning. We were situated in the grand hall for our meeting and with all of the recent renovations, it was a really chic and inviting space. The team was really accommodating and was quick to assist with any last-minute changes or requests that we had. My favorite part of the space was the chapel. It's gorgeous, and the pictures do not do it justice! Would highly recommend for any event.

My husband and I were in Santa Monica for the weekend and ubered to Long Beach for a quick oat tour. Really enjoyed the ride and staff.

We attended a wedding here,beautifully restored historic church, catering served in the courtyard, the food was deliciously prepared with an abundance of choices. Off-street parking is conveniently located yards from the venue. The General Manager Kevin was sincerely accommodating, and the staff were friendly and professional.

First of all, This was an incredibly SMALL venue for ANYONE to hold a wedding, the General Manager Kevin Jones is very disorganized & spread waaay too thin, He is responsible for FAR too much to be capable of running the entire Venue successfully long-term.

They have multiple active violations within their kitchen,
Their walk-in refrigerator is broken, so they keep the inner freezer door open, which does not keep refrigerated food chilled at a safe temperature, OR frozen food at a sustainable temperature!!

Their warming carts are broken, and the floor drains in the kitchen are completely backed up, PUMPING BACKWATER ALL OVER THEIR KITCHEN FLOOR,
Disgusting!!!

My wife and I are wedding photographers and have always loved working at the Ebell. It's definitely one of the best wedding venues in OC/LA area. The experience has always been a positive one for us with all the couples who've hired us. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful old historic rancho dating back to the mid-1800s, with free guided docent tours as well as self-guided tours. Entrance and parking are free. There are donation boxes, but that is optional. The surrounding lovely grounds make for a relaxing walk. It's tucked away behind a golf course in Long Beach and most people don't even know it's there. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Our docent guide, John, was very knowledgeable and fun to talk with. It was a great way to spend a nice afternoon.

Beautiful day for a self-tour of the grounds, exhibits and very interesting history from amiable docents who just love THE place and ITS place in LB Rancho history. And now, so do I.

We were going to the aquarium in Long Beach. However, they were sold out. Instead of having a complete loss of a day, we made the best out of it.

We walked around the aquarium way and to the lighthouse. The kiddos played in the grass and soaked up the sun. Saw the queen Mary and other ships l and sail boats and Duffy.

We then walked to the Pacific Mall since the public bathroom in the park is rancid. My 4 year old went to 4 different stalls and refused to pee because of the foul smell.

Enjoyed the view and tons of pictures opportunity. It really made me miss California.

A relatively undiscovered gem in the city. Rancho Los Cerritos is historic site with the most impressive adobe residence, beautiful landscaped grounds. This place offers an informative look about the rich history of Spanish, Mexican and American California. They also offer educational programs.

Such a beautiful place and a piece of history not to be missed. Everyone was very welcoming and my volunteer guide Raúl was very knowledgeable and generous with his time.

The gardens are a wonderful place to spend some time and although I ran out of time, there is an exhibition about the Home, as well.

My wife and I were married by the inimitable Peter at the Long Beach Wedding Center back in April 2013. My rather surprised wife says she was very happily ambushed; we were in Los Angeles to ride Route 1 - the Pacific Highway on a Harley, and she had no idea about my cunning plan. Our experience with Peter was simply delightful and he made us feel most special at this intimate formality. Ten years later we decided to renew our vows, once again with the inimitable Peter, and we were not disappointed. The venue had changed but he was equally imaginative, thoughtful, considerate and as professional as the first time around. He especially personalised our renewal vows and made our brief encounter with him most memorable. The challenge will be to find him in another ten years’ time! Thank you Peter, and the Long Beach Wedding Centre.

Very well kept golf course. I visited the driving range only. $17 for a large bucket of range balls. I’m out of town so I was able to rent a complementary driver. Staff was very friendly and explained where everything was at.
I would definitely come here again, even though I’m visiting from Fresno California.

Excellent tours of the house and grounds. Our tour guides were knowledgeable and fun! Learned so much about history, trees, flowers and fruit. Highly recommend visiting this beautiful property!!

Had one of the best rounds of my life today. Driver was on. We had a match play contest and I carried out team. Fun fun times. We won 4&3 which is a pretty one sided win. Made some clutch putts. Driver was ridiculous today. Fun times.

Super relaxing, it is worth isolating yourself in these places where torments, sadness and worries are forgotten.

It's a great place to check it out. You can reserve your spot online. It's free. You can spend an hour/ and hour and a half here. Waking around and see the flowers. You can take pictures. You can also visit the house inside and see how things were.

It was a sweet Sunday habor cruise with my hubby. The cocktails was really nice and the staff was very pleasant..

The El Dorado Park Golf Course in the 90815 area of Long Beach is one of our favorite local places to play. We recently had a networking event there for a small group of Real Estate investors and we had a blast. Wish I could say that I played well but the fact remains is that we all had fun. The course is not expensive, they offer a driving range and bar/restaurant. We will definitely be back. If you are a Long Beach resident they do offer discounts/offers. FORE!

My wedding experience was nice and quick, same day, so my low rating is not based on that. I paid for the notary signature and two official copies and I NEVER received them. I wasn't told what to do on my part, I was just assured that they would arrive in the mail and they never did. So then I did the whole process all over again. I sent in a notarized form and a money order for two copies. I was also promised a refund for the first time that I sent in the forms. Well, the same thing happened again. I NEVER got my refund and to this day I still have not received my copies in the mail. I'm not sure what's going on, if they are experiencing a large volume of requests or if Covid has made things more difficult. I just wish I had some answers as to what happened because I'm going to need them soon and I don't know what else to do or who to contact. If I had known that this was going to happen, then I probably would have waited to get married. Instead of things being convenient, they turned out to be inconvenient!

I mostly go for special events.
Went to a summer bilingual children's story and activity hour. My granddaughter was actually a little younger than it was geared to but she got to fully participate! The books that were read were very good. I have bought her 3 from one of the authors because they were beautiful books with great easy stories and amazing pictures. Never would have found them if it wasn't for this program!
Recently went to a celebration of life for a friend. The outside area was very nice. They had tables and chairs set up. There's a huge tree that makes lots of shade.
Next week I will be back for the Long Beach Beer Fest that they have been doing for the last few years as a fundraiser. It's always nice. And the people who attend are responsible drinkers so, no stupid drunks allowed! And they have security that helps keep it that way. Families come and there is food.

The entire process was stress free because Long Beach Wedding Center team took care of everything. They really got it down to an art, I could have not imagined and thing more based on our frugal buget. They’ve created the most beautiful atmosphere that anyone could have asked for their wedding. My guests were in love with the place. They had Every T crossed and every I dotted when it came to my one hour wedding appointment. Highly recommended!

This place was a delight. Jessie walked me and my husband thru everything. He made sure everything went smoothly. Peter was the one who did the service and married us. Peter was very kind and provided a sweet message in our ceremony.
IMPORTANT* If you need your original wedding certificate quickly you yourself have to take it to Los Angeles County Clerk office and request it.
They do provide a copy of your marriage certificate and they file it for you and that's what I did. I would definitely recommend this place.

I absolutely loved assisting a photo & video team at this venue! As a photographer, I am always obsessed with venue spaces that are full of natural light, so The Ebell is a complete GEM! There are unique touches like the chandeliers and beautiful pops of green throughout the venue, and I found it to be a great place with lots of rooms for the wedding party to get ready before the ceremony. There are endless photo opportunities here with all the little corners and details this space has to offer. I would highly recommend The Ebell to anyone looking for a modern, upscale wedding venue in Southern California!

My girlfriend got married here last weekend and it was literally the most romantic, sexy and most beautiful venues that I have ever seen. The cocktail lounge, the stunning courtyard that makes you feel like you're outside when you are not so its appropriate for any weather and the room where the reception was were all pictures of perfection. If you are thinking about getting married I would definitely put this venue on your list of hidden gems. It's just perfect!

It was absolutely perfect. The officiant, I forget her name but she was so professional and said the kindest words for our vows. My husband was running late and per their policy they charge if you are late. She just kept me calm because I was getting really frustrated because he was stuck in traffic. She allowed us to start taking pictures and gave us extra time. My family really enjoyed the ceremony and the whole set up. Parking is extremely tough so definitely give yourself time for that....But overall I'd definitely recommend this place to someone just looking for a small but still elegant ceremony for a reasonable price.

Most beautiful, romantic and lovely wedding ceremony. I love the decor and wall of flowers. They helped make our day perfect. Everyone there is amazing, very helpful and made things run very smoothly. The pictures that were taken are gorgeous and will be treasured forever. My fiance and I recently were married at The Long Beach Wedding Center.

We both found the staff and Officiant polite, punctual, and accommodating to our wishes and schedule. Everything was quite spontaneous with us and our family attending, which was in turn received with understanding and professionalism; in particular the Officiant demonstrated very sincere interest in our story, and while it was all to happen within an hour, it was thankfully conducted start-to-finish in a very caring and relaxed manner which I really appreciated.

Our needs and expectations were met, as we found this affordable cost-wise, and convenient location-wise : so much so we were able to walk to our appointment from our hotel room. (Pictures turned out quite nice too:) All in all a nice occasion for us to remember~
