Chill place. Good noodles. It has a Cambodian influence to it even though it is Vietnamese. Had the seafood half egg n half rice noodles dry with soup on the side. The Chinese donut was good as well. The cafe sua da had a hint of coconut milk with it. A unique cup it came with as well. I am overall pleased with the food.

I stop come back here after Covid the broth tasted like water on takeout orders. 12/27/23 I decided to try this place again takeout ordered chicken $20 a tray. My wife pointed out there’s still chicken feathers attached to the wing. Never again I’ll order from this place and you’ve been warned check your foods before you eat.
Fast service. Mom really liked the Hu tieu. We got the dry and soup version. They also sell sugarcane juice which we tried mixed with coconut juice.

We went there because of the great reviews but we are puzzled. It is overpriced, no good dipping sauce. There are much better, more reasonable places out there.

This is the place to satisfy my cravings for Hu Tieu Nam Vang. They also have other Vietnamese food like Xi quach, gio chao quay, nuoc mia, banh canh, hu tieu ca. The only thing that could be better is their sizing: the bowl is just too big. Otherwise everything is perfect. No MSG dizziness afterwards.
This seems like a new restaurant but everything on the menu is so pricey!!!!!!! You can have a great meal at Oc & Lau for way cheaper with better service! We have been sitting & waiting for a long time to wait for our foods to come! I made a mistake coming in here! Should have went somewhere else! We got 3 kids with us & they were starving waiting for the foods to come! We ordered the Vietnamese lau & took 15 mins for me to realize that the burner was out! So we waisted more time sitting here waiting for the food to cook! Ugh never come back here ever again!
Food was good. A bit pricey. Service was decent. Decor was cute but a bit sparse.
They were very open about what they are charging for, how to prepare the food and what to expect.
We had the spic broth and it was great!
They have a lot of veggies and a nice variety of meat.
I think the price is fair and the service is really helpful, especially if you have never done this before.
I would recommend it.

Somewhat pricey place but a lot of fun, too, and my first real hot pot and grill experience. WARNING! They charge $3 for the soup base but don't mention that charge on their menu. Soup refills were free. More butter and rice were free. Sauces were free. Lost 1 star for high prices.

I had pork belly and chicken for my meats to fry. They were delicious. My soup choice was the Thai base. It reminded me of Hot and Sour soup but was a little bit sweet. I had the dumpling combo (2 dumplings plus vegetables to make your own soup). Also for my soup, I also had more bok choy, mushrooms, squash and tried most of the sauces. I didn't try the likely hot sauces - one of the peanut sauces awas hot enough.
Recently visited on a Sunday around 1 and surprisingly, it was not too busy. I ordered the drunken noodles and it turned out very delicious. The meat and vegetables tasted fresh. Noodles were soft and flavorful. The service was great, very fast and friendly. I loved the modern decor and spacious dining space. Definitely a 5-star experience.

First and foremost: Not AYCE, all dishes are charged a la cart based on whether it's a side, veggie, or meat dish. With that knowledge ahead of time, based on reviews and the cool concept of a hot pot and a grill on the same stove, I was very excited to try this place out. Even took my mother here to try it with me. We left after dinner with the same impression: Worth trying once, but we're probably not repeating.

Pros:
- The hotpot/grill concept was fun! Nothing like being able to dip or grill up a delicious piece of meat at your whim! Grilled mushrooms too!
- The prepped fridge concept made my inner bbq/hot pot chef absolutely delighted. I wish I can have a fridge full of prepped meats and veggies like that at home to just start grabbing from!
- Wide selection of veggies.
- Freshness and cleanliness of the veggies and meats.
- Service was friendly from the family that owns and runs the restaurant.

Cons:
- Meat selection sub par compared to other bbq places in the area.
- Sauce station seems disorganized and messy with a lot of bottles. A conventional scoop bin format with sauce dishes or pre-packed containers might help.
- Price. The biggest issue here honestly. We ended up paying $80 each for dinner and 2 teas. My mother does not eat too much either; if I brought one of the 'bros', we would run the bill up much higher.
- Part of that price issue was that they charged for the noodles! I wanted to try the 4 different types of noodles and ended up paying for each.
- With top notch Ayce places less than 10 minutes away at $30-$35, I can't justify coming back here knowing that on a hungry day, I can rack up more than a $50 bill myself.

If you want more control over your hotpot/bbq ingredients and maybe want to do both at once, and you have a smaller appetite, Hot Pot City is definitely worth a try. Otherwise, lots of great AYCE or premium a la cart hot pot/bbq options in the area.

This is a decent spot for a laid-back hot pot experience. They offer an extensive selection of ingredients, allowing you to customize your meal to your heart's content. Just keep in mind that the prices can be a bit on the higher side for certain items.

One thing that surprised us during our visit was that while they provide unlimited rice and butter, there is actually an additional charge of $3 for the broth. It would have been helpful if this had been made clear upfront, as we assumed it was complimentary like the rice and butter.

The staff at Hot Pot City is generally friendly and pleasant, but we did notice that they could be a bit neglectful when it came to changing the grills.

Overall, this is a place where you can kick back, enjoy a flavorful hot pot, and have a good time with friends or family.

Service is incredibly slow and staff is extremely inattentive. The manager/owner needs to find something different to do because she is terrible. Horrible attitude and horrible service. A shame I had to experience this with my mother on Mother's Day. They weren't even busy either.

Saw other table's food come out, portions are ridiculously small and the food is overpriced. Gratituity is also already added regardless of party size. Other tables only got their food because they complained that it was taking too long.

Save your time and money. Go somewhere else. Got here at 12:00PM , cancelling order almost at 03:00PM - Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt.

This place is certainly NOT the "Destination" (unless you like long wait times and horrible service.)
A very nice Vietnamese restaurant, with fresh cooked food that feels like home cooked.
They specialize in hot pot and noodles.
They also have deal if you order 4 entrées you’ll get one free. You should get that. The food was fresh and fantastic. Their specialty noodles are the hu tieu, it’s comes with a giant prawn, you can get it wet or dry.
Their ice cream was good too. The price is very reasonable.
I definitely recommend this place, and will be back to try other things on the menu.
Convenient location.
Very nice little restaurant.
Fast and attentive service.
Food is excellent, very Viet authentic and taste great !
Definitely return to try other dishes.

The food was very good and tasty and unlike other hot pots I have been to I can control how well it is cooked. The service was passable as I got too used to other American restaurants having the servers check on you frequently to see what you need. It's a very nice experience to have, especially with family. Be sure to save beforehand though, prices are rising every week.
Easy 5 stars. Vietnamese food is so delicious and flavorful.. we just went for the Surf and Turf which was cooked to perfection! The place is pretty pricey but it definitely fits its classy vibe. Last thing, they only take cash so bring some stacks. Other than that, the food is great and the chef is super nice and passionate about his work.
Was glad we decided to drop in. Their food was spectacular. Service was mediocre. But you don’t come to establishments like this looking for good service. You can definitely expect great food. Price was decent for what you get. I’d come back

My go to spot for hot pot!
I’m here at least once a week!
Love the staff , the quality of food always on point!
I drive from north long beach & no regrets!
Vietnamese noodles similar to Cambodian style. Eat with toasted bread and crisanthumum leaves. Get the #1 includes pork, heart, shrimp, quail egg. Here is a lot of love and care in this soup! Highly recommend!!!
We had the bun thit nong .... the egg roll, shrimp and BBQ meat was definitely good fine quality dining. The crab soup had crab cake that was very nice like in Thailand. Without the lunch special the price is a little more higher than average but it's very very well worth it if you're looking for the quality. I give it a 10 for good experience and good food.

Yummy in my tummy. One of my best place ever. You can have soup and grill your meat and veggie at the same time. Also help with your hangover when you sip on the soup too..lol They charge you by plates but love it because you grab what ever you want to eat. My boyfriend and a I favorite spot. I give this place an A+, 5 stars
This place was impressive, the decor was spacious and modern. The presentation of food was cute and clean, I came when the restaurant wasn't busy so I got all the food just 10' minutes after I made an order. Food was really good, I loved the lobster noodle the most .
Very flavorful. Garlic noodle had a lot of garlic which I loved. Salmon with Crispy Rice had a very good dipping sauce. I also had the kumquat lemon tea ( no boba) which was very very refreshing. Overall, I agree with the taste and flavors of this new restaurant!!

Cool place to eat! Hot pot AND barbecue on the table. There's a good variety of food to choose from to dunk in your broth or fry up on the table. It's not an all you can eat joint. Lots of vegetarian options as well. Everything is a-la-carte, and you help yourself to all of the items in the fridges set up. The dishes are reasonably priced. Each individual dish ranges from about $2 to $6.
