Really kind staff and friendly environment. My friend and I came here and enjoyed the liveliness and humble environment. My coffee was brewed to absolute perfection and I was so pleasantly surprised. The noodles we ordered were also cooked incredibly, with sauce options available at the table. Super recommended.
I love pho, forever! Incredible pho, sought after savoury beef broth 🤤 the waiter-suggested shrimp & grilled sugar-cane rolls were great too! Wonderful staff, humble friendly owner 🥳 thank you all, be well 😊 always.

very nice,my favorite Pho spot and come here every week
Cute little place on Bloor Street. Clean, friendly service and great place for a meal without breaking the bank.
We had the Vietnamese spring rolls which were tasty, Curry beef brisket with steamed rice which was delicious, and Vietnamese noodle soup with curry, raw beef and toufu which was very good, but was missing the curry taste. All in all a great place to dine, and experiment the different flavors of Vietnamese cuisine.

Hadn't been here in a while because another Vietnamese restaurant near me was more conveniant. After a couple of bad experiences with that other restaurant, I returned to Pho Huong. It was just as good as the last time. The Pho was tasty and the broth comforting. Veggie fresh rolls delicious with or without the sauce. Will definitely go out of my way to get food hwre again.

Solid, solid pho place.
Pho Ga is fantastic, might be my favorite in the city.
Pho is solid.
Banh cuon is good and not common, so give it a whirl.
Spring rolls solid.

Solid, solid, solid.

Pho dac biet was really good! noodles and broth were excellent. could tell that the quality is there! as for the bun bo hue, taste like the mother land! been coming here every time i come to toronto
Me and my partner were in the area and were craving Pho.

By far one of the better spots in the GTA! Restaurant was beautiful, service was amazing, and the broth was amazing!

The Vietnamese coffee was so strong, and was perfect.

Definitely will be going there more often!

Ordered from here via uber eats. They forgot half the order and portions are super stingy especially for paying extra to get an XL soup. Spring rolls were also burned likely from old oil. Do not recommend.

I tried their weekend special, Pho Bo Kho, which was good. The food was good, and the prices were okay. They served dishes very fast, which was nice.

The only thing is a robust foul smell in the dining area. I don't know where it was coming but it wasn't nice, they need to vent that place sometimes as lots of people are crammed in one room.

I was a bit skeptical when I saw the name but the interior is clean and nice and service was excellent. They asked if I wanted more bean sprouts and water in a timely manner. Food was delicious too, would 100% recommend
We ordered the house special noodle with bbq chicken on rice and chicken skew on the side for dinner. The service was great and attentive. The portion were enough and the broth was not too greasy. Will consider extra noodle next time here.

The food was OK. Thicker rice noodles and bland soup. But, they tried to have me pay 25% tips by not giving me the change correctly. When i asked for a full change so I could give them back the tips I want(which was still 20%), the cashier guy started delivering an unpleasant attitude and even being rude(as per my friend who saw his attitude from a distance)...

Why am i feeling not appreciated or even being unwelcome after i paid 20% tips?!

If you want to force guests or insist guests to pay 25% tips, you better start providing some sort of service. When you didn't speak a word to the guests, please do not expect the high tips! I even regret that I gave you 20% after all. You gotta work for it like other fine dinings where i pay happily 25% tips.

This place is cash only as well.......Terrible experience.

The place is very simple and no fuss, but the food is good.
Service is efficient as you would expect. There is no chit chat, just the menu and piece of paper to write down what you want.
Good place for good food.

I used to frequent this place quite often before the pandemic, and my recent visit left me somewhat disappointed. My friends and I decided to dine here on a Sunday night around 8 pm, and to our surprise, there were plenty of available seats. We were seated inside, and the first thing that caught my attention was the worn-out, dated interior, which didn't set the best first impression.

Upon sitting down, we noticed that our table, as well as the menus, were both sticky and in need of a good cleaning. Despite this, we ordered a variety of dishes, including pork chop on broken rice, bun bo hue, and sausage on vermicelli. The food arrived in a timely manner, but it was, unfortunately, quite mediocre and felt expensive for the portion sizes.

The biggest letdown was the bun bo hue; the broth appeared and tasted overly diluted, with very few toppings. To salvage it, I had to request shrimp paste and hot sauce to give it some flavor, as it was otherwise quite bland. Another issue we encountered was the presence of a considerable number of flies inside the restaurant during our meal.

They only accepted cash, a fact not advertised anywhere until we received the bill. They did have an ATM in the restaurant for convenience, but it came with a steep $4 fee for every transaction. All in all, it wasn't the dining experience I had hoped for, given my previous visits here.

Decent pho. Lighter and complex, as opposed to the heavier broths I tend to favour, but no complaint here. Decent ratio of meat to noodles. Negatives are that it's serving sizes are smaller than competitors, tea is not complementary. A decent choice, especially in an area with little Vietnamese options.

We heard alot about this place and the famous $8 breakfast. Finally gave it a try along with some veggie Momos. This meal was amazing! The food came out fresh, the portions are very generous and the service was amazing. We asked to exclude the egg and they even offered more of the chickpea curry. We'll definitely be coming back!

This a great spot for some very tasty viet food! The location is very convenient and close to the action of Trinity Bellwoods and near the Queen and Dundas streetcars. It is a cash only location so come prepared! They also have a nice patio during the summer out on Ossington. Definitely will come back to try other dishes!

Ginger is your typical Vietnamese restaurant, no more no less. Great food that comes quickly, a little bit overpriced, but definitely a great choice if you’re hungry and in the area.

Super convenient and lots of options, but I have to admit I always go for the pho (#22) and 2 fresh shrimp rolls (2.5$ per roll, pretty big, good bang for your buck imo) which comes to about 23$. A great lunch spot to add to the rotation.

Go take a look if you’re around!

The portions are a good size, I really like the flavor of the Pho broth, I always order PHO rare beef and they always serve me with a lot of meat! I am very happy in that restaurant for that reason Plus, the man who serves is very friendly and speaks Spanish! I visit this restaurant once a week :)

This place has taken good care of me since I was in high school and college! Great options on the menu. My favorite is the lemongrass beef with curry chicken on rice. I always ask for less rice because the portions are hearty!
Excellent pho broth!!!excellent taste for everything that I had. A must go to if you are in the area.
Absolutely fantastic food.
A lovely meal, myself and my wife wandered in tonight
We were the only 2 there
The old lady that served us was wonderful
I think she cooks and does everything herself.
What a surprise with the food as it was really one of the nicest meals we have had on our visit to Toronto

This is my favourite spot to eat in Little Tibet. The owner is very kind and willing to help you to the best of his ability. It has a lot of charm and the food is wonderful. It is not a gentrified spot and it feels both authentic to Parkdale and its roots, and authentic to their Vietnamese culture. I have yet to be disappointed by a single dish on their menu.

Food is great but:
I think there is a safety issue with the cleaning product they use. The chemical they use to clean the tables smells so strong and smell like tiloet cleansers... also they keep these cleaning chemicals on the same table the put the prepared dishes on...
Honestly, it's not safe. It was not clean. They could do much better.

We wanted to split the cost, but at the cashier they said no, only accepted with cash.. so this is not convenient

The Hot and Sour Seafood Soup was DELICIOUS! Also love the ambience of this restaurant, they have the doors open and it feels so nice to eat there! Excellent service, very clean restaurant and DELICIOUS FOOD! I will definitely be coming back to try everything else on the menu because everything looks soooo Good! Such wonderful food!
Best Vietnam pho ever, the soup is rich taste. We order the signature No.9 and it was great.

They only accept cash and debit card and the parking is hard to find.
Overall, it is worth a visit.

Would like to recommend it to other friends

This is my favourite pho in the west end! Today I got the pho bo kho (weekday special) and the broth is so delicious, with beef and carrots. The pho comes almost immediately after you order it. It is delicious every time. Cash only!
Got the garlic ginger chicken (left) and mixed momo. Very good, simple, tasty food, but nothing particularly special or different (especially the chicken dish). Excellent value for the price which hovered around the $10 mark per dish before tax. Service could be more attentive and without the attitude. I kept asking for hot sauce on the side and the person kept repeating it as "hot sauce" so I was concerned they would put it right on the food. When I asked for clarification that they understood the hot sauce was to be put on the side, he raised his voice and hung up the phone.

Located at TMU where Yonge St meets Elm Street, east side of Yonge. It shares its space with TasteT House (a local bbt spot).

Usually when I visit on weekdays either around lunch hours of 1-3 or after work 5-8, there's only 1 person ahead of me.

Basil Box has a special place in my heart. I've been visiting several of their locations since they first started out in Toronto. It's one of my go-to spots when I need something that feels like healthier fast food. Most of my orders turned out to be terrible combinations full of regret that were totally my fault. For one order, I asked them to cover my BYOB in Thai Chilis, not realizing how spicy it was, and spent the whole meal crying inside their store while their staff looked on.

During my most recent visit, I was lucky and realized maybe Peanut Sauce is the key to the BYOB. I got their Tofu curry walk in daily special for ~$11. It was so good, I was really surprised. The portion was enough to stretch to a 2nd meal. Although weirdly the rice hardened so I ended up throwing those leftovers away...:(

Their Thai iced tea is OK. I feel every other BBT spot makes it better. Theirs is a bit watery. I tried their new satay fries. It's just fries seasoned with some satay seasoning powder (if you add on an egg to your dish, know you're literally getting a sunny side up egg with that powder on top). I thought it was too salty, and had to drown it out with other food items.

They have a partnership with Wong's ice cream so I definitely recommend trying those pints out.

Lots of different seating, good if you're alone or with friends. It's also relatively quiet; you could probably get away with studying or working remotely here.

The restaurant is open late and cash only. Good vibe at the patio. Love the place, will definitely be back.
Came with my friend to eat. I got pho with rare beef, my friends dish came first and I had to wait a fairly long time for my soup to follow. The soup was good my small bowl was pretty big. They were definitely a bit low on napkins. The rare beef was really good, I have had way better soup broths. They didn’t have any of those little dishes for sauces so we used a plate. The store itself looks pretty classy in the front. Overall my highlight was the meat.

The served me RAW shrimps. Not even slightly cooked. And i ordered shrimp bowl with extra shrimps, i got a chicken bowl with raw shrimps thrown there. Whoever closed the place on tuesday night should be fired. Disgusting. Also, 5 dollars extra for 4 pieces of tiny RAW shrimps

EDIT: i reached out as they asked and no reply.. just for show
Another great find for Vietnamese food. Very pleasant and comfortable dining experience. Beautiful interior design. People used to say you pay 50% for the food and 50% for your food. To most places, yes. But, this restaurant gave me more than what I expected. Their pad Thai has 6 big shrimps and their Vietnamese spring rolls are so well prepared. We also added an order of pad Thai chicken as well.

Strongly recommend Pho Phuong to all my friends here.

Came here a handful of times, their pho dishes were okay compared to other locations, but their Bun Bo hue dish got to be their more stronger dish. Only thing I don’t really like about the dish would be how starchy/stiff their noodles are; plus not being cooked long enough. Overall service is good always right there when you need the them. Suggest trying their avocado milkshake.
We’ve been here a few times but only for the chè (number 110 on the menu).

It’s coconut milk with shaved ice and 3 different kinds of beans. It’s the perfect sweetness and it hits the spot on a hot day.

Can’t speak to the rest of the food but highly recommend trying the chè if you get a chance!

Atmosphere: This is a really popular restaurant so it's pretty busy but it makes for a very vibrant atmosphere.
Service: It was a little difficult getting the attention of the waiters but when we did, they were friendly and helpful.
Presentation and Portions: The portions are really generous. It's also beautifully presented.
Taste: It was tasty. Not the best that I've had in the city but it's definitely up there. The broths need some more flavour.
Cost: Good value for your money!
Other: I had leftovers and asked for a takeout container. A couple of them were dirty inside which concerned me a bit.
Overall, I would recommend.
Small portions, less than other Pho places but the chicken Pho has a special taste. Beef Pho was average
Place is clean. Service is not the greatest, but overall decent location for a quick bite.

Visited this spot to satisfy pho cravings 😋 looks a bit run down & some may have second thoughts upon arrival but def worth giving a try!

The noodles were the perfect texture but felt like broth could’ve been a bit better - also pretty generous with the meat & toppings!

Friendly service. Cash only. Parking along the street or public parking garages available

Pho Asia 21 is the coolest Vietnamese restaurant that I have been to in a very long time !
Tucked away in Parkdale, near Dufferin and King Street West, Pho Asia 21 encompasses a true experience of the tastes of Asia. One thing that you have to keep in mind when ordering is that they only accept cash at this establishment.
Apart from that, Pho Asia 21 has a nice blend of Asian dishes that you do get to choose from.
From Chicken wings (fried) to Pad Thai and one of my favorite dishes of all time, Pho Tai.
When I ordered this Pho Tai I was surprised that the ingredients were on point and cooked to perfection. The mixes of meats and veggies came together like a match made in heaven.
I came here with a friend and I was slightly hungover, but it was the perfect spot to have a meal and the hangover went away.
If you are in the community, it would be great to support this restaurant as I highly do recommend it.

Don't let the low ratings influence your decision to come here. While the restaurant may not have modern finishes, it makes up for it in taste, value, and service.

The pho is very flavourful and, unlike many restaurants in the city, they include a lot of meat. The prices are very reasonable (I got a $13.50 large bowl of pho), and it's family run so it's good to know that you're supporting local.

Do yourself a favour and try this place out. You won't regret it.

We had the opportunity to try Pad Thai, Basil Chicken, and Butterfly Shrimp, and all three dishes were delicious. The chicken, in particular, stood out as exceptionally tasty. However, our dining experience encountered a minor issue with the service. When I placed our orders with the server, he instructed us to wait for approximately 10 minutes. We patiently waited on the side, and when the specified time had elapsed, I approached the server again. To my surprise, he exclaimed, "Oh, I thought you had left, so I didn't process your orders." I reminded him that he had explicitly asked us to wait for 10 minutes. Nevertheless, he promptly acknowledged the misunderstanding and kindly informed us that we wouldn't be charged for the Butterfly Shrimp. Despite this hiccup, everything else was enjoyable and satisfying.
The food here is very good. It seems like it’s just the owner working here so you’ll need to be a little patient, but very friendly and definitely worth it.

We stopped by here for lunch and the food was amazing! We tried the pork neck, fish cakes & lemon grass pork chop with rice (forgot to take pic) the pork chop was cooked to perfection! My personal favourite! Customer service was amazing! Will definitely visit again 😊
Pho broth on par with Golden turtle. Stop by, knock on the door and enjoy authentic pho. My girlfriend and have both visited Vietnam and agree this is some of the best Pho in the city. Rose is running the shop solo and really sweet and will be happy to talk to you.
They have bad reviews because the lady that works there is very rude. Also their online prices are $5-10 cheaper then there in person prices just so you’re aware. Would not recommend.

It was my first time here so I can't really give an honest review but we did order pho which was just okay for me because I am Vietnamese and pretty particular with my broth. My partner though did enjoy it but I can. I am particular as I make homemade pho and I spend time in Vietnam.

The banh mi was pretty decent.
We live around the corner so it's convenient for us to come by but it's also well priced so you can't really complain. We would love to try different things on the menu for a better review.

The pho broth/beef noodle soup broth is phenomenal. Mind-blowingly good. Worth a try, if not a continuous reminder for the rest of your life. Impossible to tire of the taste. The dipping sauce is for dipping; you probably don’t want to pour it in the broth.

Fresh. Tasty. Clean. The food is done right. I always get take out, but I’m certain it’d be a nice experience to dine in, too. I recommend the well done beef noodles, because the rare beef is a little too raw beefy for me. It gets cooked in the hot broth, but it’s still quite intense. Just a a warning for personal preferences; the ingredients are nice regardless.

The beef balls are nice too, but you may want to try them with well done beef instead of the rare it shows on the menu.

You also have to supply your peel bowls unless you ask them.

Food here is so freaking good. Pho broth and noodles were top tier, I just wish the service was a quicker. The Bahn Mi was also really tasty and surprisingly filling. One of the servers forgot about us after asking for the bill and we waited about 20mins before I asked another girl who rushed to get us sorted (I felt bad though as it seemed like she was about to go on break). They also only accept cash, which is a bit of a pain since I rarely ever carry any on me, but they do have an ATM in-house.

Long standing Vietnamese restaurant in Toronto. Order first, grab your own cutlery and sauces, and find a seat. Portions are pretty good and food is pretty average. it gets pretty busy during lunch.
Excellent value and service. Sweetened lemonade (made fresh) just a bit too sweet for my taste - I watered it down a bit and it was perfect. Shrimp spring rolls (cold) were large and well stuffed (and not with lettuce, yuck). 2 in one order. And the classic bahn mi sandwich - so good. If you are near the Parkdale library, good place to go for lunch.
I've gone a few times since it was convenient but I can't believe they are still in business. They really don't care about their customers at all. The food is as stale and bland as the service.
Ordered chicken Vermicelli. It came with a spring roll. Good size, excellent taste! Staff said the dish was gluten free. Excellent spring roll! Around $19 including 18% tip.

Happened to walk by at dinnertime - a happy surprise! Important note: cash only, and tables have an order card and pen. Food came quickly. My group all had different types of pho. Everyone was happy. Bowls come in reg/large/XL...4 grown men were all good with the large. We also had the fried spring rolls (chicken), very tasty with a perfect crunch on the outside.
I will definitely stop by again if I'm in the neighborhood.
Alright, folks, listen up because I've got a hot tip for you. If you're in Toronto and you're feeling lonely and existential, head on down to Saigon Flower Restaurant. Trust me, this is the perfect spot to eat alone and think about your life choices.

Now, let's talk about the food. The noodles are fresh, the pho is piping hot, and the prices won't break the bank. It's the perfect spot to grab a quick and tasty bite without having to go through the hassle of cooking for yourself.

And if you're worried about your phone dying while you're indulging in some self-reflection, fear not. Saigon Flower has got you covered with an outlet in the wall so you can charge your device and never miss a beat.

But wait, there's more! If you're looking for some good ol' Vietnamese entertainment, head on over to the bar. They've got some seriously entertaining TV programming that'll keep you occupied for hours. Who needs a therapist when you've got Saigon Flower Restaurant?

All in all, if you're looking for some good food, good prices, and a spot to ponder your existence, Saigon Flower is the place to be. Trust me, you won't regret it.

I have Pho Linh in love with this place. The Pho is some of the best in the city. The broth is very light and flavourful - normally after I eat pho, my mouth feels very dry (probably from msg) but I did not experience that after eating here. Also the beef is very tender and yummy. The service here is also very good, the servers are friendly and smile a lot! They seem to always be having fun, joking with each other and the customers. Overall great vibes at this spot! Fair quality, fair price, great portion, quick service - had a beef pho and roll as a meal deal. Broth is just okay, would prefer something more flavourful though. Roll was fine, maybe the fried spring roll is the better option. Saw other rice dishes from other customers, they look more appealing.
Best pho in Dundas W. got the mixed seafood and veggies pho and they were generous with the seafood, unlike other pho places. Plenty of shrimp and other seafood and the broth es exquisite. Highly recommend!
The bad reviews here surprise me. Myself and my husband came across this restaurant after searching for good Chinese food for over a year after moving to Toronto, with no luck, until we tried Saigon Flower. We instantly fell in love. The food is AMAZING. Dine in or take out. The Owner is so sweet.

Yes, she is running the place by herself and that is why the food is so authentic.

After Covid, it is impossible to find any good employees. When is the last time you’ve been somewhere and have been impressed by employees service? She works crazy hard and does a phenomenal job.

It kills me when people say the price of the food went up. Did you grocery bill not go up as a well? Your expecting the restaurant to not make any money, so that you can be happy? Not just this restaurant, any restaurant for that matter.

If you can’t afford the rising food prices, that everyone is facing, simply stay home and cook for yourself.

We would HIGHLY recommend giving this food a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Walked in there on a Saturday and place was deserted. I had to get the waiter's attention and I'm the only customer in the place. There's a menu plus prices for other dishes on the wall. I wanted to try the Ban Mi but no english description of what is in it. Decided to try the spring rolls. They were ok but a little oilier than I prefer. Prices are ok. Owner needs to spruce up the place a bit to attract more customers. Strong incense smell was a bit off-putting.

The pictures speak for themselves but let me add my 2 cents anyways. The staff is very friendly and the food here is absolutely delicious. Many other dishes should be pictured here but they were eaten before the thought of pics crossed my mind. The momos are some of the, if not the best in the city. Make sure you try the chow mein, ask for a fried egg on top of if you really want to kick it up another level. The house tea is also delicious, don't forget to ask for a cup. Will be going back to try the Kotthu roti next!
Such a hidden gem! Very unassuming, but the atmosphere was so nice and the food was delicious. Staff were kind and had great recommendations. We enjoyed Tibetan tea, mutton curry, and veggie momos. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting good food!

Overall, i found the place good. I had heard a lot about the food here, so maybe my expectations were very high.

Pros:
1. Tibetan owned place so the food and flavours seemed authentic. This is a small place with 5 small tables, and a kitchen at the back
2. Price is good
3. Food is alright: while I have had better Tibetan food and momos, the food was decent. I had the momo platter, and thupka here.
4. Good location in little Tibet in Parkdale

Tried the veggie vegan Pho, with a nice selection of vegetables, tofu and noodles and sprouts, basil and chili to add. The broth needed a little help but there are lots of sauces available to boost the flavour. Reasonable prices, lovely staff and tasty tea

Like a celebration of flavour in every dish! The pho was so good I forgot to snap a photo. Food is absolutely delicious in a warm atmosphere with epic music. Loved the ambiance, hospitality, and deliciousness. Very happy to discover and already excited to come back.
The Vietnamese restaurant hack I learned from my brother in law: We like Vietnamese fried spring rolls so we order a vermicelli noodle dish and substitute rice instead of noodles. This way you get a spring roll and more veggies than the rice dishes. This place also wraps their fried spring rolls in rice wrap which gives them a chewier texture that I love.

The atmosphere with the smell of incense is very nostalgic; great place to grab a cheap and tasty bite to go.

Great Staff & amazing service! I like this branch as you can feel very relaxing and spacious, high ceiling with lots of sunlight throughout the window. Fantastic location!!!!!

When I was thinking about shrimp and steak in a dilemma circumstance to build my own box, but their staff told me that I can do half & half. I really appreciate their attentive, love the shrimp and steak. They cooked it fresh for me.

Well, their spring rolls was really good too with the special source, unfortunately I cannot remember the name correctly. It should be something like pineapple. I love their fries too, you can add extra lemongrass chicken on the top by paying extra. This is what I did on the picture. I shared this with my friends during tea time.

This time I gave up my always favorite Thai ice tea instead of Soda, it's really refreshing. It should be called rose soda or something like this.

We had the chicken curry with some rice, the mixed momo plate and the tingmo bread. Nicely plated. Great flavours. There isn’t much seating and it’s not fancy but it was nice getting it hot. Definitely returning.

Second time around... Had the lemongrass chicken poutine. Yes! Fries with curds, lemongrass boneless chicken pieces and a spicy gravy . Garnished with shredded carrots, fried onions, coriander and red Thai chillies. Delicious, spicy and flavorful from the lemongrass.

First time here. Friendly staff. I had the coconut curry tofu. They build the "box" in layers first the noodles, edamame, sweet potato, tofu, choice of curry and garnish with sesame seeds, fried onions, cilantro, red Thai chili peppers, peanut... There's lots more to choose from and healthy food.

Great place to grab Vietnamese food. They’re cash only, but have an ATM inside. Good vermicelli and lemongrass chicken. It was enjoyable and plates came warm and fresh. The service is excellent.

Good beers as well. Place is a little dark and has two huge tv’s on both walls but it still feels communal and alive.
I was here before and it was pretty good, but last time was a bit of a miss. A few from my group found the food less flavourful and they missed one of our meals entirely. No music in the place... just voices...

Pricier than the average Vietnamese restaurant?

Food came quick though, and some of the dishes were quite good!

Beautiful pho restaurant in Parkdale. I typically only have the rare beef pho (which is amazingly delicious!) But there are plenty of options to choose from. Not to mention the owners are extremely sweet and passionate about what they're cooking/serving.

Very quirky and beautiful indoors. I just ordered and have good vibes and hopes from this place. They’re opening next Monday they said so, can’t wait to come back and dine-in.

This Basil Box has really caring staff and great attention to your food preparation. We appreciate that they offer a few more than the Eaton Centre food court's Basil Box. Worth coming over to this location instead!

The staff are very accommodating and gives great recommendations. They served another customer that has a dietary concern and flagged any available options they could eat. They also offered customizing to their preference and suggested great alternatives. Good healthy choices!

They have a lot of good custom order option/set up so that you can mix and match. This location offers additional Satay Seasoned Fried Egg (for additional cost) and #4 Sauce option of Saigon Curry which is not common. We usually get the Chili Lime Shrimp which is pretty spicy and delicious! This location offers sautéed eggplant and charred sweet potatoes which is great as well. Really good value and carries well!

Have no idea what to make of this place. It looks like a complete dump. Faded menus, terrible lighting, half the store is taken up by shrines. It felt unhygienic to be honest despite the sign saying the store passed food inspection. They also didn't bother asking for my vaccine passport. I personally don't care but other people may - I'm vaccinated for the record.

But the actual food was pretty good. Ordered a beef pho dish that was only $11 and two fried spring rolls which were excellent. The broth had slight alcohol taste to it which means it's made with a bit of red wine. That's a nice touch you typically don't get from Vietnamese restaurants in Toronto.

Would I eat here again? N. There's another Vietnamese restaurant in the area that's on King street that is a better dining experience but it's pricier.

It's kinda a monument to 90s Parkdale to be honest. Before the area was Little Tibet, a lot of Vietnamese owned businesses were on that strip of Queen Street. I had assumed that Jason's Coffee shop shutting down was the last one but this place is still kicking. Good on it I guess.

I ordered off Skip The Dishes. I normally try not to write negative reviews, especially during COVID times as many small businesses are struggling to make ends meet. But I feel like my experience is worth knowing.

On a more annoying note first, they placed my avocado shake in a very packed bag without any insulation. It obviously exploded into two of the dishes I had ordered. With that said, I went onto my third dish and began eating that--it was fine. No complaints. One of the dishes I was looking forward to only had a bit of avocado shake in it so I decided to eat the other half.

On a more concerning note, as I am enjoying my meal I found a black curly hair in my food. I am a blonde and it could not have been mine. At that point I was absolutely disgusted and decided to look up the Google reviews, where I found TWO other reviews stating there was a black curly hair in their meal WITHIN THE PAST TWO MONTHS.

Outside of COVID times, that is a health and safety concerns, but during it is absolutely unacceptable. I am praying that it was a beard hair, meaning the cook was not wearing a mask during meal preparation. Do not order from here.

Came here at 7 on a Tuesday night since i had some business downtown. Place was empty, not a good sign. There is only one elderly lady at the counter and i think she's also the chef. Ordered a special Phở and shrimp dumplings. Food took an uncomfortably long time to arrive (i think there's only one person here doing everything). The food tasted mediocore as best. I had better. Didnt bother to take a picture. Would not recommended.
