Disappointing service and food. I read good reviews about the service and food, so I decided to give it a try. I had to wait 1:12 for the main dishes, I ordered and they served first three other customers who arrived after me. Then, the food came and it was the wrong dish, I didn’t say anything because I was hungry. The only food things were the entries

Similar taste pho compared to the one I ate in Vietnam. If you can eat spicy, chilies are must need, don't forget to ask for it.

Nice Vietnamese restaurant in Brussels city centre. The portions are generous and the prices are good. I found the food particularly tasty, especially the dumplings. The personnel is also kind and available. Recommended!

We ordered beef luc lac, eggrolls and vercimelli with grilled pork. The portions were generously huge. They both tasted real good. Recommended.

Great place to have some rice rolls.
Beware that only the bacon and shrimp roll as well as the sweet chili sauce are the only items that do not contain soja.
Recommended.

Absolutely one of my favorite places in Brussels. I get the spring rolls for take away and they were super fresh. I had the tofu and the egg spring roll - both just perfectly combined. I also think the price is very reasonable for what you get. The portion of edamame was also as big as expected from a dish “extra” . The service was very fast and kind.

I stayed in Brussels for 3 nights and ate here 2 out of 3 dinners. It’s a great break from eating fries and waffles during the day because the food is light, healthy, and filling. I liked the duck and prawn rolls and the minced pork noodles were delicious (albeit a little spicy). Their homemade yuzu ginger raspberry lemonade is also really tasty. This place is perfect for a well-rounded meal with veggies; I highly recommend!

I recently visited this Vietnamese restaurant and had a great experience. The service was adequate and met our expectations. The dishes were well presented and of a good size, enough to fill us up nicely. Most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Looking forward to my next visit!

The ingredients are quite fresh and the sauces are delicious. The whole atmosphere is good. However I do not recommend the rolls with shrimp, because the shrimp is not quite efficient to be tasted. I recommend rather the rolls with beef, duck and chicken.

Really nice Vietnamese food. My family did order many dishes to eat with rice like family style and all are really great. We did come back this as a second time before leaving Brussels. Bonus friendly boss and staff. Highly recommended!

Located near St. Catherine, Brussels, Knees to Chin offers wonderful Asian food at a superb price point. I ordered Dim Sum with a pork noodle bowl. It was tasty and full of flavor. The restaurant is comfy, small, and cozy. Great staff. There is a sidewalk area too where you can eat. It's definitely worth visiting.

Ordered the spicy beef noodles soup. The broth is robust and very flavourful with a generous portion of meat. Taste better than a lot of the restaurants located in Asia! Their homemade chilli sauce is very nice and spicy!

Apart from the seriously dumb name, this place manages to capture the mood and flavor of authentic South East Asian street food shops and it's delicious to boot! Very reasonably priced too. Didnt get to try the soup but looked delicious.

Exceptionally good food and prices!
The variety of souses is great, so try them all out if you have a chance (they are for free for dine-in). Two rolls and a side dish is a great position to get full.
A huge recommendation!

My main observation about Lotus Vert was the overall hygiene of the place. To begin, I was given dirty / poorly washed cutlery which I had to have changed. Then I started noticing dirt in the walls, bathroom etc. which made my experience unpleasant. Food was Ok and the staff was friendly.
Been coming here for years. Best pho place in Brussels. There used to work a sassy lady, this is no longer the case. They renovated the place. Always happy to be here.
Pro tip: Vietnamese carpaccio, Soupe Tonkinoise, Bun Bo Hue

For almost ten years I have been trying Vietnamese restaurants in Brussels and never found THE ONE- this might be it! Extremely yummy and like being in Vietnam again! Fresh ingredients, all homemade and friendly service. I will make this my regular restaurant from now on.
Nice ambient and delicious Vietnamese Pho. Have beef stew pho. Staff was friendly and didn't charge us for the pot of Chinese tea.

Very disappointed. My Wife ordered a saki, when arrived she didn’t like it and asked for another. The staff was so offended they refused further service and actually removed my drink and appetizer from the table. So disrespectful crazy deal. Suggest that you you avoid this establishment!! Its sad that we came to enjoy Brussels and had such a weird experience?!?
Is it because we are American?
The manager was extremely rude!
Don’t even know why???

The food was 10/10, the staff were lovely even when they were busy. The food was incredible, one of the best I’ve had in a long time!
Their Pho is legit!! Great place to take a break from the stews and potatoes 😅. It’s a small resto with few tables, but it’s clean and looks newly decorated. Took out one star because their egg rolls wasn’t freshly made, the skin wasn’t crispy.

We’ve only tried their Vietnamese phở so can’t judge over the rest of the menu. The male waiter was Northern Vietnamese but their phở was more towards Southern style. The flavour was somewhere in the middle, not too sweet but it had onions and bean sprouts.

Funny Thai, a wonderful restaurant in the center where your taste buds will truly feel like they are in heaven. I visited this restaurant around 6 o’clock in the evening and there was a very nice atmosphere. The service was perfect, the staff were very nice and helpful (+they spoke English). I had “SATE KAI” (which was chicken with sauce) as an appetizer and then “MI XAO GA” (noodles with chicken and vegetables). I can’t fault a single thing, everything was seasoned perfectly and fried really well. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and I recommend you to visit it. Suitable for both families and friends. The prices are also very friendly, they are open from 11 am until 11 pm. The thing that impressed me the most was the overall impression, I think you won’t find a better place to order noodles in the city. Thank you for a nice place to have dinner, I’m sure it won’t be the last time.

Great vegan option. They can make things without onion and garlic, Allium free. Great food, great service. I came here twice in the two day I was in Brussels. I would highly recommend this place.

We stopped here randomly, mostly to ask about gluten free food. We stayed because the family taking care of all the customers were very friendly, cracking a joke here and there, and assured me they can prepare anything I feel like eating completely gluten free. As a celiac, it's amazing when something like this happens. Ended up with a large portion of Pad Thai that I totally enjoyed.
Note: only cash payment is possible.

Me and my partner have been to Vietnam many times and found the bun bo hue here authentic and yummy! Delicious and huge portion! We shared a large for 15 euros and we were both very full. Run by a sweet Vietnamese family. (Sorry the photo is half way through the meal - we were very hungry 😋)

Excellent restaurant! We were luckily able to get a table for dinner two with a great view of the people walking by. We quickly placed our order and drinks came out quickly, with food shortly after. We had dim sum, deep fried rolls (like egg rolls), beef noodles and chicken fried rice. My daughter (14) and I loved every dish, plus the house white wine was delicious! All was a great value. Very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful! I like this spot because it’s off the Main Street but still very lively!

Definitely check this place out!

A small shop, in one of the many alleys around the Grand Place, that serves Vietnamese and Thai food. The food was well cooked and presented. My wife and I went there for dinner on consecutive nights. Especially love the prad Thai dish. Although there was one server-cum- server, the waiting time was reasonable. Sitting outside shop is cooling even in the summer nights. The ambience was great. Highly recommended.

The worst dinner experience in Brussels. The rice taste like little stones (totally raw), and we wait for over 45mins, even they served the food and it is not correct and cold. Come here if u want a raw rice or cold curry please come here. Totally not recommend here to have dinner.

Cool concept to mainly serve rice rolls! I ordered the duck & tofu - and the tofu was by far the best!!!

Both were quick but filling to eat. The miso was decent but too much sesame seeds for my preference.

Overall good experience & cool concept! 3.5/5

Walked some distance to get here and we were not disappointed. Too many Thai restaurants tone down the spice and flavours for westerners. This was just right. I had green chicken curry which was hot but packed full of flavour. My girlfriend had squid and chopped chicken salad. The flavours in the salad were incredible. Get in early as it was packed.

Friendly staff. Good vegetarian options. Pho was good but broth was a little greasy.
Simple but super charming and with great "home made" style Thai food. It's a family business and you will feel it from the entrance. Large variety of food (also for vegetarian and halal), delicious soups and thai curry!
Prices are below the other places around (and you are just a few meters from the main square).
Not many places inside and no cards accepted (only cash)
Recomended

Wonderful Vietnamese restaurant. Prices are alright, drinks are expensive as hell, but the food is tasty and abundant.

So, it was ok, some of the service guys have room for improvement…

Place is inviting but nonetheless, it wasn't worth it. Price I paid for my dish, which is a very small portion of the viand and a cup of rice can already get me good portion in other same-like restaurant.

We ordered Chicken Caramel with rice for 13€ and just got a 1/2 cup serving of the chicken and a cup of rice. What a dismay in terms of portion to price ratio but taste was not bad. The Pho was just fine. Didn‘t had seasoning on it. Atmosphere and friendliness of the staff for two stars, otherwise, will not come back here again.

Probably the better pho in the area, good broth lots of meats and veggies. Too much noodles for my stomach though.

Restaurant is as very typical Vietnamese old look with Vietnamese style of service.

For people who complain about unfriendly service: you are cry babies.
Excellent Thai restaurant. We had to make a reservation because this place is just so successful. The service was perfect, from the waiter knowing the menu by heart to the waitress checking up on us, all while being extremely nice and polite. The food was excellent, definitely tasty and authentic. The restaurant is of a nice design and give a warm feeling. They even give you a small mango juice while you wait for your table to be ready. Definitely a great discovery that I wholeheartedly recommend !

We had chicken wrapped with banana leaf, Fried rice with scampi and Red duck curry. The taste was awesome. No doubt with that. But the rice and other vegetables were not properly boiled. Thought there was pressure on kitchen.
I would like to visit again once there will be less crowd

A hidden gem :-)
And fully Corona proof.
Behind a simple decoration is hiding a wonderful experience.
Friendly and efficient service, delicious food (for more and less adventurous), more than fair prices.
Have been a loyal client for years.
Not authentic Vietnamese food. Dont try something very special, it will not meet your expectations. Something popular like Pho is easy to cook, easy to taste. The waitress is not friendly at all.

Great for a cheap and tasty lunch. Less than 10 euros for appetizer + main course. Not very spicy but the flavors are nice.

Dinner is more expensive but still very affordable.

Update: next to the panaeng curry I also really liked the caramelized chicken with ginger sauce ❤️.

The food is wonderful: you can feel the flavors mixing in your mouth some of them are more spicy, some others are less, but the taste is well... great. The sea fruits are delicious, the curry is the way it should be (Thay, not Indian), the soups are very tasty. People are very polite and kind, the food is prepared in no time (well, a bit, but you don't feel it), and all that at a decent price 15-20€. Bon appétit!
