I went there because of my friend’s recommendation from a long time ago. But the food was not good at all, either too sweet or too spicy and in the kimchi you can taste raw garlic. They used a lot of peri peri, I could feel it. I like hot and spicy but the spice was too much, more than normal.

Great place especially with friends to enjoy Korean bbq. The menu has a good selection for both vegan and meat eaters. It was fun cooking the food on the bbq. Good mention for the pinot Grigio from Hungary.

The honey garlic fried chicken was sooooo slay. Also had the bulgolgi and pork neck and no complaints here. The atmosphere was lovely- I took off one star there only because I’m a bit 🤨 cause what’s with Korean restaurants in the UK and not giving banchan for free?!?! We need to set a new precedent guys.

We came for Sunday lunch and it was very crowded. Food was nice, but there was a lot of sugar in our soups. Tasty, but very sweet. Service was ok, but guys just take orders and then bring food, nobody came to ask how was our food, do we want anything else to eat or drink. We had to catch our waiter to ask for a bill.

Good quality Korean BBQ restaurant.
Food are fresh and served with good portions.
Atmosphere is good as they play k-pop in the background. Though the restaurant is a bit small, and you are sitting very closely to other people. If you want some privacy or even a chat with your friends, I wouldn’t suggest this restaurant to have a catch up when you are dining in.
Me and my friends keep shouting at each other as we can’t hear anything beside other people’s conversations and the background music.

Amazing Korean BBQ restaurant. High quality meat in decent portion sizes for sharing, and easy to use grills. The fried chicken was great as well, nice and crispy and not oily.

I decided to give this simple Korean BBQ establishment a try. It was fantastic as the restaurant itself welcomes you with the Korean vibe.

STAFF : Very friendly, order through the QR code.
FOOD : Ordered the set lunch, which comes with a drink. The pork BBQ was spicy and the meat was tender. Flavourful as well. The soy garlic chicken was out of this World. Delicious. The dumplings are to die for, it was perfect.
PRICE : Reasonable.

Really honestly one of the best food experience in my life all of these things are magnificient, just awsome. Probably one of the best korean restaurants in London. For sure we will back there again ! Everything served extremely fast, service was just amazing, great, nice and friendly people who's know theirs job. They haven't weak points in menu ! The only thing I can do recommend it highly with all my hearts. Greetings to the entire crew and see you soon guys !
Went here for all you can eat Korean BBQ. We were the first people there, and they seemed like they weren't ready for customers.

The food was sub standard, the meat was not very tasty and not well marinated.
When we asked for more starters, the waitress gave us attitude and was like all of it and was asking if we would finish it all.

The shop was hot, no air conditioning, even though there was a heat wave in London.
This my second time coming here honestly it was a great experience however I noticed that when requesting for meat the staff would take quite a long time and I would have to ask them more than once how long however the food was amazing the spicy pork and spicy chicken definitely was a fav for me and my friends
Delicious food and a cozy atmosphere along with good service. However, we asked for ice cubes for one cup as i did not get any, but ended up receiving two cups full of ice cubes, which was a little confusing.
This is our first experience at a Korean restaurant. We really enjoyed the hot plate experience. Staff was super nice and helpful. Food is also delicious. Highly Recommended.!!

Lovely selection, they forgot the fried egg on one of our dishes but brought one right away, the bossam was great and the broths tasty, i found the beef cooked just a bit less than necessary to come of the bone but it made up with taste.
This one came recommended by someone. What a lovely place to be, I went with my friend for dinner. I had the kimchi pancake and prawns, both amazing! He had beef he really enjoyed. Fast service, nice music, kind staff. 🫶🏼

My sibling and I had attended this restaurant as a pre-theatre dinner. Visited on 26th August, just after 6PM.

This is located on Greek Street. On the same stretch, you’ll find a plethora of other Asian restaurants; i.e. Japanese BBQ, etc. There are also a few drinking spots too. If you fancy a few drinks : cocktails. Then a dance off 🙃

There was a small queue, which took around 15/20 mins to them get seated. The manager / host, was courteous enough to inform of the rough estimate to get seated.

There is seating upstairs and downstairs. You’ll find booths, located at the back on the top floor.

The toilet is very small / cramp. Big Broad people may find this a little challenging

So what was ordered.

Side Dishes: Korean Fried Chicken (10 pieces) came with Special Soy Sauce; this I found quite sweet and almost remising of an Apple Sauce, like a purée. The other was Kimchi Mayo, which I found to the better of the sauces. I found the batter to lack the seasoning and coating compare to other Korean establishments that I’d once visited.

Pan-Fried Kimchi Pancake - not enough Kimchi and made eggy taste.

Mains:

Chilli Chicken Bibimap with extra toppings Fried Egg (+£1.50) on Brown Rice (+£1)

Spicy Pork Bibimap with extra topping Fried Egg (+£1.50) - the pork requires more marination for the taste to come through.

These come with chilli & miso condiment squeezy bottles.

In all honesty, neither of these Bibimbaps were that enjoyable. As per other Google review, there’s a severe lack of protein and more cabbage, vegetable. The level of spiciness is more tailored for the western pallet. There was hardly any heat level, when compared to other traditional Korean restaurants. I suppose if you want to get the level of protein you should be getting, it’s optional for an extra £4.50

The only highlight for myself, was the Kloud Korean Beer. It’s a white beer, smooth and nice hops. Had 3 of them.

The service was exceptional and friendly. Hence the high score ✌️🙃👍

There is Parking but it’s very limited and difficult. I wouldn’t advise leaving your car parked there on a weekend. If you have people who can be very inebriated.

Had exited Tottenham Court Road and was a 7/9 minutes walk from the underground station. It’s also just a 3 minute walk to the Phoenix Theatre.
Had a amazing time with my group. The waiters were amazing like all of the staff we came across were amazing(which is a rarity nowadays) food was great and alot than expected.
For the area was priced about right came up to 55 per person (group of 4 ) that is including drinks (couple of soju's and a bottle of red 😀 😉) which clearly did its job.
Will definitely recommend qnd will be back
I think the food was good but the problem was that we chose very contrasting flavors and that might have affected our assessment but a whole I would recommend it greatly. The location is convenient if you are looking for a Korean bite when visiting the Barbican.

The one I must observe is that the restaurant looks recently renovated, so the pictures I've seen from the reviews might not be entirely accurate (especially the facade). However, it's still very easy to spot.

The space is a bit packed but nothing to be concerned about, we were just fine. We didn't order the BBQ but by looking at our neighbors it all seemed to work great. Also, making a reservation online took us like 1 min, so it's quite convenient.

Bibimbap was great visually and also in texture. I’ve had better spicy rick cakes, however. It was not worth the price.
I went for dinner here with my friend and it was lovely. The service was great and the food was yummy. It's usually really packed so would be good to make a reservation beforehand. Enjoy!
Lovely service - food was absolutely delicious, as were the massive bowls of sake! Would definitely come back again!
Ji was very accommodating to us, thanks to all the staff who were working!

Nice place for Korean BBQ among other dishes. We had the BBQ platter for two and it was just about worth the price - reasonable portion and variety, one of the meats in particular was exceptionally flavourful. Kimchi pancake side was also lovely. Service was friendly and helpful. Worth booking ahead. Mid-range pricing for London. 12.5% service charge, though this might be discretionary.

So glad we came across this gem in Soho. The number of reviews and ratings this place has really shows how well they are doing. The food was amazing, all served together and everything was fresh. We would recommend the kimchi pancakes, seafood soup and their most traditional dish! Highly recommended
Wonderful wonderful food!! Me and my mum came here today and as vegans we had such a delicious dinner! It’s definitely one to add to your ‘To Visit’ list! The staff were so lovely and helpful, the atmosphere was great and it didn’t feel over crowded or like we were pressured to leave after our meal. Lovely place!

Relaxing and non pretentious place, clean and light decor with exceptional food. Good variety of dishes as addresses both vegetarians/vegans and meat lovers. Definitely a place to return to.
A lovely place with exceptional service !! The staff members were very attentive and helpful as it was our first time trying Korean food. We would love to go again !!! The restaurant is in a very nicely located neighbourhood. (Not a high street) which makes the place quieter.
The one of the best Korea food in London.Tasty food and great service so highly recommends👍🏻
Perhaps controversially, I feel the need to write a review which seemingly contrasts with many other seen for this restaurant.
The food was good. Staff did a good job. The prices were OK (but only when considering the location maybe - otherwise, for example, £3.50 for 5 round lettuce leaves seems on the steep side). The service was perfectly pleasant and decent but I have to question what ‘service’ was actually received. The whole ordering experience was via an app so opportunities to offer service are quite limited. When wanting to ask a question about the menu it was left for me to call over a member of staff (there was no attempt to ask if we needed assistance or guidance). The response given was clear and helpful, as it should be, but I’m not sure where the ‘service’ was. Drinks were brought promptly but there was a presumption we would drink from the can and bottle - no glass was offered, it had to be requested. The table wasn’t cleared of finished plates/ dishes throughout the meal. The (free) tap water ordered on the app never appeared. Overall, staff interaction was minimal so it genuinely angers me to then me forced to pay the 10% additional service. I could go on here but point made I hope.
Above all, I wanted to say how unclean the whole restaurant felt. Clean tables, cutlery, dishes and glasses but this restaurant need lad a good deep clean. Grubby and grimey are the most suitable words here.
Needless to say, I won’t be back.
Came here as a group of six people. We had made a reservation in advance.

We asked for some assistance to better understand the menu (portion sizes, how much food we should order for six people). The lady who served us wasn’t especially helpful and offered us no explanation. She was quite unwelcoming to the point that it made our group feel quite uncomfortable, which should never be the case when you go out to a restaurant to enjoy dinner.

Despite the cold and unhelpful service, I must say that I really enjoyed the food. We tried a range of dishes - the seafood noodles and the spicy prawns were especially nice.

This restaurant clearly has much to offer but the overall dining experience was let down by the service - a little bit of training for staff would go a long way, and I would have no hesitation in upping this to a 5 star review.

Definitely give this place a try if you’re looking for speedy service and filling food at a good price!

They have meat options, vegetarian and vegan options. Everyone is welcome!
The staff are super nice and the service is very quick. I was surprised at how soon our food came out after ordering.

Furthermore, the Korean beer is delicious and came in super cute glasses. I would also recommend the Korean fried chicken which was delicious and the kimchi mayo which the waitress suggested.

We will be back for sure!

Dined in here on Monday and I absolutely loved it! I’ve always wanted to go for a Korean barbecue and my wish definitely became true! It is a really fun experience!

This restaurant has lovely and tasty food, came out super quick, warm, and delicious! We got quite a few dishes and all of them were really good :)

The highlight for me was the baby squid and the glass noodles. Glass noodles are an absolute must! The texture is unique and addictive, I could go and have two bowls of only that! The beef and pork on the barbecue can be as crispy, as rare, as whatever you want. As much as the lovely ladies in there come to cut it up and cook it for you, you can also have control over what your meat is doing on there :)

The service is a bit slippery however, we got lucky with our lovely waitress Hagyeong, as she was super attentive, caring, spent so much time at our table making sure we get the right experience. She was lovely! We were served by 4 people total, out of which she, and the lady who took our order, seemed to be the only ones to truly care. Hagyeong is definitely the one who saved so much of our experience so thank you for that! She needs a pay raise haha!

I have been here three times now and always love my experience. As a vegetarian, it’s great to have lots of vegan/veggie korean food options. The tteokbokki is so flavourful without being too spicy for me (although I wish it came with mozzarella!). The kimchi fried rice with tofu is always my favourite. The service is always quick and friendly. Definitely recommend if you are vegetarian/vegan! Prices are okay for London I guess, but a little expensive for me, a non Londoner.

It was a great experience. The food was a bit on the expensive end, but at central London, you can't really complain.
However, the quantity of the food was quite proportionate and justified to its price tag.
The taste of the food was very authentic Korean, and I must recommend having a live BBQ station for sure. The staff were really friendly as they patiently helped us through the menu for Halal requirements. Make sure you have a booking if you're going at busy periods. There is a nice park outsider too where we waited till it was our time for the reservation. What a great night, Kudos to Aranag and co.!!
Genuinely bad food. Not authentic please do not order from here waste of money. Taste worse than what you make at home

Authentic Korean cuisine served at Bibimbap with utmost care.
The Bibimbap, Korean Fried Chicken, Prawn Katsu and Seafood Noodles were all lit up with the Gochujang Sauce.
Perfectly nestled in Soho, a must visit.

This was my favourite restaurant that I had visited in 2023. The food was absolutely impeccable with portions of food given in perfect amounts. The food was delicious and so elegant,. Such a tidy place, layout and the atmosphere was good too. A meal for 2 would serve 3 people easily as we had so much food left over. I would recommend going to this restaurant for a special day out. Try out new flavours, enjoy the great ambiance and leave more than just satisfied.
Fantastic Korean food, very attentive and polite staff. The place feels very family run and as customers we felt. so well taken care of. Had the Korean BBQ, really well priced, tasty selection and will definitely be coming back.

We reserved a table for 4 and we were sat in a booth which was very spacious. The staff were very friendly and very quick. The food came very fast and it was delicious. The price is decent. The atmosphere is very nice. I would go again and I posted this on my Instagram and so many people asked me where this was. It is worth a visit.
The worst ever korean food, and food I had in my life. Everything wasn’t good, service, food, portion, taste etc.

The ox tail soup was extremely watery, I seasoned the soup by myself. Jeyuk portion was smaller than a peanut. No one wants to season a tasteless soup and pay service charge. Server was hurrying me to leave.

Anyway, do not try this place please. I wonder how this place surviving in London.

Had early lunch there today. Walked in right after 11.30am, no reservation needed. Good food, great service with smiles. They kindly accommodated our tastes in making toppoki less spicy for us. Recommend their kimchi jeon, dolsot bibimbap with beef. Their modum namul was just right. Then to cap it all off, there is a new South East Asian shop next door which sells Mamee, 100 Plus, A&W root beer, red bean/mango aiskrim potong, jackfruit/durian/coconut ice cream, Bibigo gyozas and lots of other ASEAN snacks/desserts/noodles.

Best bibimbap in London! Always a reliable yummy meal. The pork and kimchi soup, kimchi pancake and any of the bibimbap choices are excellent. Friendly and kind staff. The root tea is also yummy. Reasonable price for soho and great location for shopping or theatre afterwards. You can walk right in reservation not needed.

I recently dined at SuperStar BBQ Korean restaurant and overall, it was a delightful experience. The restaurant boasts a sleek and modern design, creating a pleasant ambiance. The service was impressively fast, ensuring that our needs were promptly attended to throughout the meal.

The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the food. The dishes were simply amazing, bursting with authentic Korean flavours, each bite was a culinary delight.

However, I must mention a minor downside. As soon as we finished our meal, the bill was presented to us before we had the chance to inquire about dessert options. It seems that they prioritize efficiency in this busy establishment, so be prepared for a quick exit if you plan on having dessert elsewhere.

Despite this small inconvenience, I highly recommend SuperStar BBQ for its delectable cuisine, stylish atmosphere, and efficient service. It is undoubtedly a fantastic Korean restaurant worth visiting.
Delicious and filling. Visited twice with no booking and each time they were able to fit in a slot for us. (I recommend getting reservations because we had 1hr to eat which was really 30 mins after ordering and waiting.)
Affordable food with a lot of variety and portions! Brilliant place to eat out with friends and even enough food to take home as leftover.
Highly recommend going!
Loved this place! Service was great, always very helpful and asking if you want more. Replacing the grill every so often so it doesn’t become smokey. Food was great, unlimited meats and sushi. Highly recommended! Make sure to book or at least queue through the website as your have to wait for a good hour before being seated

Great. A small stable just right in SoHo, serving excellent Bimbimbap — I ordered mine with brown rice (optional) and a fried egg on top. The taste was lovely, just as you’d expect it from Korean food. Same goes for the kimchi pancake, which is always a great starter. Not as spicy as advertised on their menu but then they’ll hand you some spices to pop it up. Service was great, would come there any time again!
I had a lunch here as a solo diner. I was greeted at the door and quickly shown to a table. The server was polite, though not very attentive.

I ordered the vegetable dumplings, a spicy seafood soup, and a lemonade. The food was flavorful and spicy. I was pleased with the meal.

I'm here on vacation and stopped by this place on a whim after visiting Velvet Underground next door. I was a bit shocked that this is the most expensive meal I've had in London so far. It was around 32 pounds for lunch for one person.

decided to give this place a try since it was one of the very very few places in central london to offer buffet. but it didnt feel like buffet cause the server didnt let us order any meats or sides we wanted, just gave us everything and said it comes with everything

here we go… table was so sticky, lettuce was yellow and leafs were rotting and not thoroughly washed - we had bugs on ours, samjang was not samjang not sure what it is, skin not removed from pork belly, bibimbop was over sauced, fried rice was mediocre, seemed understaffed. severs were running around like headless chickens. we have 90 mins to eat but it was so hard to catch a server.

they also charge an additional 10% service charge, but what service?

there was tteopokki as a side but we didnt get receive that even though it comes with everything. overall a very disappointing experience
Great Korean food. The meats are well seasoned, soft, and tasty, especially the Jeyuk Bokum. They have Korean beer. The atmosphere is nice, no loud music, and no noise from the kitchen (since the kitchen is downstairs). A little on the expensive side even for its location, but still deserves 5 stars.

As a Korean, this is one of the best Korean restaurants I've been in London! We went in Lunch time and ordered barbecue lunch meal, which includes one of two portion of meat(which has several options) with lettuce and spring onion salad, rice and little miso soup. We got two portions of meat which was around 16 pound, very good value. You can see how big one portions is from second picture I attached, I was very happy.

We ordered 2 pork belly, 1 LA galbi for four of us. It was enough amount to make us good full. LA galbi was awesome, it tastes like my mum's. One of the staffs suggested us "special kimchi". When I saw it, I could tell it was home made kimchi and I was right. He told me it was made by imonim which made it authentic 👍👍

The staff who served us (he said he is a supervisor) very very friendly, we had a lot of chat with him. Has many knowledge about Korea too. Myself and my friends really liked this place not just because of food but also because of his service. Very friendly, helpful and fun.

Most of all, the owner is Korean which is quite important and I could actually feel that even before I got to know about the fact.

After meal, we went to Karaoke. They have many latest Korean songs. Massive rooms. Off peak price was 70 pound per hour. We very much enjoyed it as well.

Over all, I highly recommend this restaurant as a Korean. I would definately go back there very soon!

Staff were great but service to get the food was slow, maybe the tactics to limit food in the 90mins all you can eat.

Was asked to separate the spicy food on the platter and asked for non spicy soup, but a lot of it came spicy so my friends had to eat that while I ate the other meat.

The beef is good.

The food is delicious and well priced for the amount and for London prices. Service is good, although not always the quickest. The atmosphere is very nice and cooling for the summer days. They offer many different foods in the menu which is good.

Recommend making a reservation - even if it may not be busy as it gets full quickly during meal times (especially dinner).

Bustling, clean and great tasting korean food! Comes with 3 complimentary nibble dishes including kimchi as is standard with most korean restaurants. Each main ~£13. Bootle beer is £4.60. Seafood pancake, a favourite of mine (and for benchmarking Korean restaurants), was really good here. All dishes were true to your standard Korean offering. Highly recommended

It took me a while to choose a korean bbq restaurant but i’m so glad I chosed this one!!! Price it’s okay we were two people and we ordered two mains, 2 types of beef and a drink, we spent 65£. Service was 10/10 every single waiter came to check if everything was good and they helped us to use the bbq. Food was amazing we ordered two types of noodles which were really good but unnecessary cause the beef was a lot!! Had to take the noodles away. We chosed beef bulgogi (n85) and beef brisket (n98). They even offered us kimchi, misu soup, lettuce and some veggies and taught us how to eat properly 😂 I’ll definitely go back again!!!

Fantastic place for lunch. Best thing to get is the bento for 9.90. there's a number of options but go for the soy garlic friend chicken or the chili chicken. They also do Korean barbeque. There's many dishes available too and everything is brought to the table really quickly. It also gets quite busy during meal times.

What a great find. I loved the ambiance of the place with its Korean pop music. After being seated you scan a QR code and order your food and have the option to list any food allergies. The food arrived quickly and was scrumptious, the service was great and the menu well laid out.
A great bbq dinner experience in the centre of London. We had wagyu rib eye, marinated pork belly, bulgogi, prawn tempura, and fried rice. All the meats were delicious, juicy, and melted in mouth. The tempura batter could have been a bit thinner, but overall, it was extraordinary.
Had my birthday lunch here with a few friends. We all loved it. Highlight is the Yukhoe for me! Portion is generous which is why I will keep coming back.

I've been to a few Korean bbq places and can say this one definitely has stuck. So glad they were able to fit us in as I did not book prior.

The food was delicious. Everything was well seasoned and cooked well. We thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered. Will definitely be my go to when I'm craving Korean bbq. The japchae was top notch. The only small critique would be the salad/vege which you eat with the Korean bbq could have more of a variety rather than just lettuce, esp as it's £5.

Bento Bab is a Korean restaurant located south of Spitalsfield (Aldgate East is closest tube). It is a popular spot for both locals and tourists alike, and for good reason. The food is lovely, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is lively.

I recently ordered a takeaway from Bento Bab, and I was not disappointed. I ordered the seaweed rolls and the chicken gyoza dumplings. The seaweed rolls are made with fresh seaweed & seasoned rice which are then lightly fried in a tempura style batter and moreish with every bite, and a perfect way to introduce yourself to the flavors of Korean cuisine. The chicken gyoza dumplings are filled with chicken, vegetables, and a variety of spices. They are then pan-fried and drizzled with a lovely sweet sauce, and they are the perfect way to satisfy your hunger.

I recommend Bento Bab to anyone looking for a great Korean meal in the area. The food is satisfying, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is inviting. I can't wait to go back again soon and have a sit down meal!

Korean BBQ at the table. Different selections of meat and vegetables and option to share.
I enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken, a bit spicy. And my youngest enjoyed a delicious noodles soup.

Lovely staff. Decoration is a bit minmum and boring, but the food is really amazing!!
Great service! We came here for Korean BBQ, the staffs actually came to you to grill the meat for you. Before they take the plate, they’ll ask you first, super friendly. We walked in around 6pm on Sunday, found seats easy.

Wouldn’t recommend their bibimbap, not enough toppings and too salty.

Liked their rice wine, marinated beef slices and rib eye the most (meat platter).

Delicious Korean food, with loads of vegetarian options. 🌱

I had a takeaway lunch from BentoBox and will definitely be returning for more. ✅

The staff were very friendly, service was fast (I was with a group of 4 and we waited 🕰️ 9 minutes from placing orders to getting our food) and it was all delicious.

I was really impressed with how many vegetarian options there were - despite being known for their Korean BBQ. From bibimbap to kimbap, ramen, and even a veggie take on Korean fried chicken (hello, aubergine!).

📝 I ordered tofu kimbap (£7.9) and kimchi chips/ fries 🍟 (£5.8) which are loaded chips topped with tangy kimchi and spicy mayo.

The beef bento box 🍱 (£9.9) and pork BBQ kimbap (£7.9) were also highly recommended by friends.

🚆 The restaurant is a short walk from either Aldgate underground station and is known to get busy so, book a table if you’d like to come for Korean BBQ.

♻️ Special mention for the reduced plastic and styrofoam used in the packaging of my takeout order. ✅
I recently dined at the renowned "Olle BBQ" restaurant, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality that set the tone for an incredible dining experience.
Let's start with the food. As a barbecue enthusiast, I have high standards when it comes succulent meats, and "Olle BBQ" did not disappoint.
"Olle BBQ" apart was the top-notch customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that I had an exceptional dining experience. The servers were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, making sure that I had everything I needed throughout the meal. The manager even took the time to stop by my table to check on my satisfaction with the food and service, which truly made me feel like a valued guest.
“Olle BBQ" was a true barbecue lover's dream. The food was outstanding, the customer service was top-notch, and the ambiance was delightful. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional barbecue dining experience. I can't wait to return and indulge in their mouthwatering BBQ delights again!

Lovely food that tasted delicious and was fresh, service was great, waitresses were very attentive. A little pricy compared to another bbq place I've been too and the grill did keep sticking but they were happy to change it. There was also halal options (like some lamb and some beef and chicken) which was great for me to be able to try more of the menu.

I'm not disappointed. I'm angry. Paid more than 10 pounds for few pieces of meat. Well done guys.

We thoroughly enjoyed this Korean experience and enjoyed the bbq, everything came out very quickly. The food was insightful, flavoursome and unique from the rest of the east Asian cuisine which I liked. The atmosphere was great with nice seating areas with booths.

However, we booked our table at 1:30pm started eating probably 2:10pm or so and bare in mind you have to cook your bbq so it’s quite time consuming to dine here. The restaurant closes at 3pm BUT we were not made aware of this beforehand and they only warned us at 2:45pm when we were only half way through our meal. We felt rushed towards closing, which was VERY NOT enjoyable and ruined the dining experience for us. Everything was great apart from this lack of communication from the booking service and staff. Wish we’d known beforehand to set our expectations accordingly! Not entirely impressed which is why I can’t rate this 5 star. The waitress was confusing too.
Very good location !
First of all, most of the dishes is good especially KFC chicken as love it very much.

Chicken soup — not recommend as taste is really not strong enough but if you prefer very light taste , can give a trial.

Staffs are friendly and always take care all customer.

Prides is fair but some a bit too high as 2 pieces beef cost GBP 15 😅 not big or thick piece.

However, recommend you come to have meal
If you are craving authentic Korean food, this is the place you should visit. We tried to get reservations beforehand but came to know on weekends they don’t take reservations, it’s first come first serve. When we reached, the queue was long but it didn’t take much time to get seated as they have downstairs seating as well.
Tbh the best Korean restaurant I’ve ever been to in the UK so far! Marinated Pork Belly, and Beef Bulgogi is my favourite. It tastes phenomenal. Korean Fried chicken with Sweet and spicy sauce also tastes very good. The food was delicious and the price was decent. Really enjoyed the food and my time here, great if you're looking for a Korean BBQ experience where you can cook your own stuff at the table.
Overall, it’s a 5-star restaurant. Definitely returning back for other offerings.
Enjoyed it here and would come back and even recommend for couples, dates, birthdays and groups.

Food was excellent even when doing the 'cook-it-yourself' BBQ! Which I think is a fun time to do. If it is too much you can take the rest away with you.

Inside has a nice décor and plenty of space between tables. Feels small so big crowds can get loud but there is plenty of space between tables. Bright lighting so it does not get that romantic feeling but a positive vibe

Service is good and the waiters are helpful and attentive.

Location is near a lot of bars so if you want a place to go before or after there is choice. Parking might be an issue because of the area.

I went here for a birthday meal with some friends and it was great! The food was delicious, there was a big selection of food to choose from and their custom sets were very good too.
They regularly came to change the grills which was nice, and Melissa the lady who served us was amazing, great character and personality and she made us all laugh so all together it was a great experience! Will definitely try to come here again soon!

Ordered the £75 set menu, the Korean fried chicken, the Naeng Myeon (cold noodles) and some steamed rice. We probably ordered one dish too many as we were so full by the end of it. The dishes were very good and the service was good too. However one of the waiters came over to cut the meat and place them onto the grill for us while we were still eating the noodles and chicken. This made us feel rushed as we didn't want our food over cooked especially our beef. We had to pause with our noodles and chicken to eat the bbq meat, however when that was finished, the same waiter came over to fill our whole grill again with all the meat available. I stopped him immediately and said we wanted to take our time eating and didn't want our food overcooked so he left us. He didn't do that to anyone else on the other tables and they were able to take their time eating, whereas we felt very rushed, which is why I've given this review 4 stars. The other waitresses were very pleasant.

First time visit to a Korean BBQ restaurant on the recommendation of a colleague. Wow, I’m not disappointed! Great experience and atmosphere with fabulous selection of meat cooked at the table. All the veg and pickled kimchi was delicious in my opinion. Highly recommend if you’ve not tried before. Thanks for looking after us!!

Really disappointed with the number of issues in one order. Firstly, we did not receive our prawn mandu - there was a replacement but a courtesy call would have been nice as I would have chosen another Mandu instead. We received fried tempura-type prawns instead - and they were not nice. All food was either a little warm or cold on arrival. The beef was low quality - it was basically fat stir-fried with onions. The chicken was SHOCKING. Parts of it were still pink?!?! It's absolutely not edible. Even the tteokbokki wasn't the greatest. Japchae dishes usually have a veggie mix along with it - this had chopped onions and 4 pieces of chopped red pepper? Honestly, so disappointed.
We ordered Beef Bibimbap and Chicken Katsu curry, and a side of pork dumplings to be delivered... The food took an hour, arrived half cold. The beef wasn't fresh and it seemed boiled.. I've paid extra for an egg on the bibimbap and received scrambled eggs (I was expecting a fried egg with a soft yolk to mix with my rice and meat). The gochujang sauce was absent from the dish, and the vegetables seemed boiled or something.. The whole meal was Tasteless!
The chicken Katsu was also a tasteless cold mess... I felt embarrassed to ask my boyfriend to order food from here.
I usually go to Korean Town aka New Malden when I want Korean food.. I've learned my lesson now and should stick to eating Korean food in New Malden, as anywhere else the food is just a huge dissapointment.

I don't normally write reviews but I have to call out the incredible customer service I received - placed an order via a food delivery app and made a mistake - the app itself was unable to help at all but the restaurant went above and beyond to make sure the order would get to me correctly. Food was delicious too and a good portion.
Great Korean bbq, cooked fresh in front of you. Nice service and excellent tasty food! Plenty of meat and large portions.
The atmosphere leaves a little to be desired - I think it would be nice out in the main room however we were in a back room that was a shared table with other patrons and it just felt a little crowded.
Simple and quite a big lunch!
I just went for a quick lunch and they offer a lunch set menu. I picked the stir-fried set: came with a starter set, the main with rice and soup.
The starter was alright, the fried pancake and crab stick was a bit cold. The stir fried chicken was quite spicy but quite a big portion, and it was okay.
I think overall the meal was good, and for its location the price for lunch wasn’t too expensive. The portion is definitely generous.

Food and service was great. My only comment was the toilet is in the basement and it's dark. The walls and floor are painted black and the lights are dimmed. I felt like I was in a horror house, truth be told. I think it would be nice if the color would be brighter. White and brown (wood) maybe, to match the dining area. Just saying.

I was looking forward to going to Korean BBQ and Vegan and trying a range of halal Korean food. However, the food turned out to be a disappointment. The KFC and dumplings were good but the mains were dull. The bimibap was bland and the chicken bulgogi tasted as if the meat was a few days old. We left these unfinished. I will be not be going back to this restaurant and the food wasn't worth the bill.
rice was overcooked, there was too much mayo in bowl, literally rice and tofu was swimming in mayo. I had to throw it out. Waste of money.

I've been ordering here ever since lock down and it's pretty good. Reminds me of cup baps in Korea. Delivery has always been consistent. I'll carry on ordering it from the office from time to time.

25/02/22 - Ordered again and it was still just as good. :)

03/08/22 - Ordered several times since then. They seem to have a new menu :D. Try them with the extra Kimchi and egg!

Ordered a couple of menu (Emperor + Tofu meatball + Chicken.. etc) and it was tasty, greater than I expected. The portion looked small but actually it wasn’t that small. The total price was quite expensive though. (Paid around £30)
