Very nice rooms, very nice front desk lady, and good location. Not cheap but reasonable price for downtown Jackson. Would stay again.
My wife and I went to the restaurant for our anniversary. This was our fourth anniversary dinner there. We keep coming back because it is always a fantastic experience!

The food is always incredible. This time we ordered the wagyu tri-tip which was cook to absolute perfection, the lobster Mac and cheese and it was the best I've ever had, truffle fries and roasted asparagus. Everything was incredible. The white buffalo never misses. It's a fantastic experience every time and
A surprise birthday trip for the wife. Great choice all around. The staff was very helpful with reservations and suggestions. Our room was great, a little noisy in the early morning due to construction in the alley beside us.
A must do is dining on site. Angel was our waiter, he took excellent care and made sure everything was perfect. My steak was delivered on a salt block, highly recommend it. By the way the sides are shareable.
Julia was our waitress tonight at the white buffalo club and she was amazing for our party of 10. Couldn’t have ask for a better experience. She went out of her way to make sure our entire table was happy. It was my birthday and she was so kind and made it the best!

I highly recommend! The staff are very friendly and professional. Every dish was amazing. If you come to Jackson Hole, it’s a must to come here!
Our party of 6 made a 7:15 reservation on a Wednesday evening in October. It's a small, intimate restaurant with only a handful of tables. Our server, Cost, was the only server on duty. He did an excellent job of taking care of us. The steaks (NY Strip, Ribeye, Filet, & Bison NY Strip) were excellent - perfectly cooked and allowed to rest before serving.

Only complaint lies with the bar service. We all ordered mixed drinks, but the bartender seemed more interested in chatting with his friends sitting at the bar (literally the only 2 customers at the bar). On each of the 3-4 rounds of drinks we ordered we were faced with a 10-15 minute wait. Otherwise it was a great dinner with a great server. We will visit again.

Love this place!!! The food is excellent and we love the atmosphere. We were able to take our pup on their wonderful patio. We will always eat here any time we visit Jackson Hole area. Highly recommend.
We had an amazing time at Snake River Grill. It was our first night at Jackson and we were so happy we chose this place.

Service is 10/10. Our waiter was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful

Food 10/10. No words. Everything looks good and tastes even better

Overall the best place we have tried in this town so far!

Top notch restaurant with outstanding food and beautiful interior. The attention to detail is remarkable. Service was excellent. High quality food. One of the best steaks I've ever had. The green chile onion rings were a delicious unique treat.

Unless I missed it, there is no elevator access for the handicapped. Steep outside stairs. (I tripped and fell climbing stairs in wet weather.)
Seated early for our reservation, our server Emma was great. Quick to greet us and take cocktail orders. Special order huckleberry margarita was yummy. Emma recommended the bison tenderloin and we were not disappointed. Loved it all…we will come here again!

What a really nice place to grab some breakfast.

The hostess didn’t seem very friendly or welcoming, but once we got sat down, our server was fantastic.

Really tasty well prepared food.
Delicious dinner tonight!
We had a reservation and were able to be seated a little early. Our waiter, Robert C, was helpful and attentive, as were all the other staff we interacted with. We already made plans to go back tomorrow night!
Only attended the bar, but cannot wait to try the Tomahawk steak. Daigle is the mixologist.
Order a Boulevardier.

Have a wonderful dinner last night. First time trying elk and it was delicious. Sitting outside on a beautiful night made for a special evening.
We were able to get reservations three hours before they opened and were immediately seated on our arrival.

Our server, Steven, was attentive (kept our glasses filled), personable, and made us feel very welcomed.

I had the Western Burger and my sweetheart had the Bison Ribs. The food was superb!!!

Finished the meal by sharing the cobbler and got the apple pie to take home.

Authentic food in an authentic atmosphere and excellent service...would come here again anytime ❤

Service was prompt and friendly. The prices were a little on the high side, but the portions were pretty large. We had two main complaints that kept this from being 5 stars.

The first is that the huevos chili verde really needed more of something to eat with all the sauce. It was swimming in sauce and there’s only one tortilla. Give me some potatoes or chips or another tortilla or something.

The second is that the potatoes with the Benedict were insanely salty. I love salt, and it was still too much. I had to smother it in ketchup to cut it with some acidity. The Benedict was amazing though, and the eggs were perfectly poached.

Cafe Genevieve was our go-to brunch spot while spending a long weekend in Jackson.
I stick to vegetarian food in the morning so I got the avocado toast with egg, which is a deconstructed sandwich with radishes, potatoes, eggs, and avocado toast (a little difficult to eat, but nonetheless delicious). We also got the grilled cheese w tomato soup, which also hit the spot! The watermelon margarita was so refreshing on a sunny day.
Highly recommend as a brunch spot, but try to snag a reservation if you can, especially when the weather is beautiful.
This place was fantastic!!! My first time in Wyoming and this food was everything I had been dreaming about. I had the Elk Medallions with a side of mashed potatoes, the huckleberry sauce drizzled on it was fantastic, meat was cooked perfectly!!! The bison ravioli flavor was AMAZING!!!! Service was on point and we loved the atmosphere! I would definitely visit this place again when I'm in Jackson Hole!
We came here twice while we were in town, because it was that good. We’ve tried the bison prime rib, bison ribs, bison ravioli and The salmon. All were incredible. I’d recommend the bison prime rib, the salmon and garlic mashed potatoes. In addition, the French onion soup was to die for! And our service was top notch! Waiters were on top of it and so friendly! Definitely come here on your trip!
Amazing restaurant. Beef, Elk, Bison, Fish, whatever your taste is, they have it. You will pay a premium price, but it's worth every penny. I had the 16oz prime rib. It was so tender and flavorful. Ordered a bottle of Josh cabernet, which is very affordable. Hope you enjoy it. I'd love to hear your thoughts

Our server was great and food was delicious. The appetizer/salad/food timing was awkward and pricing didn't match portions. The hostess wasn't particularly welcoming or hospitable. The other servers were buzzing around seemingly upset and while the small space was pretty full, it wasn't incredibly busy at our 545 reservation.

The Blue Lion has been my sister’s favorite for years, and for good reason. Each and every bite was exquisite. The stuffed mushrooms and gnudi in brown butter and sage were a great start. The salad was light and fresh, with candied pecans. The lamb was the best I’ve EVER HAD. Bravo to the chefs and to the servers for their execution of this meal, which makes all the difference. Everything came out hot and perfectly cooked. Finished the meal with the mud pie and Ukrainian cream. Will remember this meal for a long time.
This place was such a disappointment. My Wife and I were in Jackson to celebrate our Honeymoon and we absolutely wish we skipped this place. The $50 cancellation fee would have been well worth it.
The host greeted us and did say congratulations on our honeymoon, which was nice, but then promptly seated us in a cubby hole of a table next to the only other patrons in the restaurant. It then took 10 minutes for our waiter to come, who didn't greet us, didn't say hi, no pleasantries, just said "Drinks". When i asked if they had a specific type of gin, he just said "No". he didn't offer suggestions, which would have been helpful since the table I was at didn't have a view of anything other than a wall and i wasn't aware of what sort of options I had.
We split a salad and a steak because we didnt want to spend more time there than we had to. The food was just ok and I'm fairly certain by splitting the steak, we didn't get the fully amount. The kicker is that they charged us $6 to split the salad and steak without ever mentioning it. I know those aren't the priciest complaints but it would have been nice to know.
The customer service was about as bad as I've experienced for a fine dining spot in a really long time. Take your business elsewhere.
Delicious food in a buzzy, convivial setting. Don't go expecting to hang out at the bar, which is reserved for diners. The steak tartare pizza is an absolute must-order standout.

The food was excellent. Very fresh and prepared well. We had the lamb chops, unbreaded, the elk slices and sesame dressing on our salads. The service was better than the food or at least as great. Our meal took a long time but 1) there were a few large parties seated before us 2) our server and the bar manager actually apologized for the delay 3) we didn’t care. We hope everyone will give the Blue Lion a chance - it is worth any wait. ;)
We had such a lovely celebratory dinner here last night!

The service was wonderful, thank you to Kat, who made the evening so special!

We took in the atmosphere as we enjoyed the 10 ounce bison New York, cut on heated Himalayan sea salt, the delicious salmon, lobster mac & cheese on the side—all washed down with Wyoming whiskey.

To top the night off, we had the skillet cookie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top—the perfect compliment to the perfect meal!

Thank you for such a great experience!
Only downside was that we had a reservation and yet still found ourselves having to wait about 15min. Which in itself isn't too bad.

We went on a 4 day vacation in Salt Lake city and yellowstone area, so you can imagine we went to eat to several different locations. This place by far was the best! Exceeded all my expectations. I've never tried bison before this occassion and, I can now say that it is delicious. I had ordered the mixed game grill which came with elk tenderloin, bison ribeye, and deer sausage along with some garlic mash potatoes and 3 sauces : pan dripping au jus, bordelaise sauce, and bearnaise sauce. A multitude of flavor combinations. The cocktails were prepared beautifully, and they offer some variety in terms of their whiskey menu. My fiancee had the bison ravioli which offered a new take on the classic dish. It was packed with flavor. Prior to our entrees we had the salmon cakes and French soup. They were good, but greatly overshadowed by the entrees. The creme Brulee offered a subtle sweet ending to our decadent dinner. I strongly recommend people eat here, and I will definitely go back one day!
We sat at the bar and the service was fantastic! The food was amazing too, we had the wedge salad, mahi mahi, steak filet, asparagus and huckleberry creme brulee🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻. Everything was delicious🙏🏻. The only recommendations I have for the manager, your staff should not spray the bar down to clean while people are eating, I could taste the cleaner two different times during my meal, the better option is to train your staff to spray the cloth and then wipe the bar, such a better experience for everyone there and no spray getting in food etc.
Amazing!! A must eat restaurant in Jackson Hole. The whole branzino was delicious. The pizza with morel mushrooms was also delicious.

Delicious food and great atmosphere. Yummy non alcoholic cocktail option as well. The only slight negative was them trying to push dessert on us while we were still finishing our entrees.

Had the huevos ranchers with chorizo. Recommend they switch to a green tomatillo sauce for a better, authentic taste. We were all satisfied with our food, vibe and friendly customer service from waitress and management. Would return again.

We went here for breakfast and the experience was amazing. The cajun sausage, bison sausage, eggs benedict, and waffle were all unique dishes. One of our top 2 breakfast spots in Jackson, WY.
This restaurant truly excels in its commitment to providing excellent service. It's important to note that wait times can be longer, even with a reservation, but rest assured, the experience is undoubtedly worth it. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction.

The true highlight of this establishment is the exceptional quality of the food. The menu boasts an impressive selection, and even at these prices, every dish is worth the indulgence. Our steaks were a true work of art, presented in a visually enticing manner and cooked to absolute perfection. The flavors were exquisite, and every bite was a delight to savor.

What sets this restaurant apart from others in the area is the inclusion of Wild Game on the menu. If you're an aficionado of non-beef meats, this is the place to be. The variety and preparation of the wild game options are unmatched, providing a unique and memorable dining experience.

At the recommendation of the lady I sat next to on UA2237 flight, my family and I tried Snake River Grill. We called ahead and made reservations for 6 at 7:30pm. We arrived and there was a short wait while they finished seeing the table. My sister didn't like the location of the table, so we opted to wait a little longer and got a booth. I had a custom drink which looked like sunshine and tasted delicious. I had the Scallops my 1st course, Rice & Peas as my Small Plate, and the Rabbit Saddle Roulade as my main course. I really loved that the Peas tasted fresh in both the Scallops and the Rice & Peas. Although I liked my meal, my dad's meal of Roasted Carrots and Rack of Lamb looked perfect. It looks like the restaurant is listed at $50 - $100 per person. I think $100 - $150 is a better estimate. We leave tomorrow to return to Texas and I forgot my Credit Card at this restaurant (they called and left a voicemail to let me know). I like their customer service and I hope I can get my CC back before I go.

Very satisfied with the food and fast service. The coffee was lacking and very highly priced for what it was. $8 latte or $5 drip coffee. Go next door for coffee at Persephone, all told, a great (albeit pricey) spot for breakfast/brunch.

At the recommendation of the lady I sat next to on UA2237 flight, my family & I tried Cafe Genevieve for Breakfast/ Brunch. We considered sitting outside, but didn't want to deal with the flower flurries so we ate inside. The staff was very friendly and the waiter very attentive. The Watermelon Margarita was delicious. They brought an extra cup of coffee, I accepted it and they turned it into a complimentary beverage. I debated with myself between the special Florentine Eggs Benedict and the original Eggs Benedict. I ended up going with the original and it was excellent. I wish I'd asked them to combine the two types of Eggs Benedict which would have added Spinach & Tomato (both of which I like). My nephew tried his first Root Beer float and loved it. My dad had the Watermelon juice and enjoyed it. Everyone liked the meals they chose. If I ever visit this area again, I'd definitely come back and try the special.

The service was very good, staff were very attentive and kind and knowledgeable!!! I want to preface there was nothing wrong with the actual service. But it was probably the most disappointing meal we’ve had in Jackson so far unfortunately despite how costly it was. We got the trout dip as an app and it was mostly cream cheese, looked like something you could buy from Walmart. I ordered the lamb chops which were the best of the night but they weren’t really seasoned. The outer crisp was very nice but the meat itself didn’t even taste like it had been salted. We also ordered the elk and it was burnt and rare even tho we asked for medium. The beef tenderloin was also cooked very rare when we asked for medium rare and the trout was very meh. All in all it was a very mid meal and I wouldn’t come back tbh, not for the price point. Reminded me of something from Ruby Tuesday, not a $$$ restaurant.

We stayed in Jackson when we went skiing at Jackson hole. The place is very popular and we couldn’t make a reservation for dinner on the same day and then we tried walk-in. We was told it would be 45-60min waiting, so we made a reservation for the next day. The atmosphere is great, and the receptions are very helpful. We tried Snake River area raised flank steak and dry-aged NY steak from Montana. Both of them are delicious.
One thing would make it better if the restaurant can provide free bread before meal.

My husband and I loved the Blue Lion. It’s in a renovated home and we got to sit by the guitarist that was very talented and provided a great vibe to the dinner. The server was very kind and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. We got the crab mushrooms, shrimp scampi, huckleberry scallops, and raspberry lemon cake. SO GOOD! I’d recommend this place for a fancy night out.

We went here for a fancier date night. The atmosphere is great - super cozy with live guitar playing. The staff were also all wonderful, friendly and helpful. The food however, was pretty lackluster for the price. My husband had the elk and liked it. I had the trout and it was just ok. The portions are also pretty small for the price. We did have the butternut squash soup and that was delicious. Overall, the price was a little high for the quality.
Hey everyone post Covid got to relax a little bit about these destination vacation and service. They have an amazing happy hour from 5 to 6 with a $10 unbelievably gourmet burger and fries get a glass of high-end wine or beer but don’t be steered away because of the service reviews, everyone is doing the best they can as is all of the destination resorts without any staff yes there’s no staff… anywhere. Look at the want ads and look at the signs on every door at every place of business around here. The staff that was there was attentive as they could be for the number of tables and the food was simply amazing. Instead of being in a rush order a bottle of wine and enjoy their $10 burger.
These steaks were the best steak I ever had. The Wagu, which was a first for us, is worth the hype. Best steak ever. I just recommend to eat a snack or something before you order the 3oz. Wagu. Best steak ever but obviously very expensive.

Glad we tried it. Maybe a once a year deal for me.

I had the ribeye which was 2nd best from Wagu, but I got the 16oz. Very flavorful. They put the steaks on a salt block and it kept it cooking if needed.

Our waiter Cody was awesome and always checked on us. Made the experience better.
We had a reservation for July 3rd and had been so excited about coming back to the Restaurant at White Buffalo Club.
We had an amazing dinner experience. Our server was wonderful, the food was exquisite.

The bread with the in-house made butter was the perfect start to the dinner, we also got Brussel sprouts and French fries, we were most excited about our steaks. Might be my favorite steak I’ve ever eaten. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.
