Very Disappointing. Taking sides against the tenant to keep the owner's property in their portfolio. More trouble than ease in my relationship with Expat Housing Amsterdam. Avoid if you can.

I rented a 1 year contract with them. They were very transparent about everything and even provided a translated contract for a fee.
Throughout the contract I had questions and concerns that were always answered.
With regards to managing maintenance and deposit refund, I felt everything was done fairly and I had transparency throughout.

Etienne handled the viewing for us, and even organised a second viewing on short notice (so that my partner could see the place as well). He was informative, helpful, and very professional - far better than other agents I have dealt with in the last 12 months. He was also instrumental in sorting out some issues with the flat in the early weeks as well. Thanks for your help, Etienne!

From the first viewing of our new apartment, the rental agent Hugo Muller was very friendly and humble, and the good rapport established with him was encouraging towards initially reaching an agreement towards tenancy. My partner and I are very happy with the help that has been provided to us from the agent and his agency.

My partner and I are moving to the Amsterdam area soon. We knew that the housing situation there is very strained, and that it can be tough to get an apartment. In the end, we found a nice place in Amstelveen with the help of Amsterdam Housing.

The experience was only positive, from start to finish: First, the process was relatively uncomplicated. Compared to other rental agencies in and around Amsterdam, the amount of necessary documents and information was sensible and easy to provide. Second, the brokers were very communicative and pleasant along the way. This is a huge plus - other rental agencies do not react to any communication attempts at all. As a result, we felt very well guided and supported. Big thanks to Lilian and the others, who provided helpful information and impressions of the apartment!

We have rented with Expat Housing for two years and we were very satisfied with their service. They were always prompt in replying to our messages whenever we wrote to them and very quick with fixing things.
They were also flexible with our check out date and open to find a solution for us, when we requested for a favor. They are serious and reliable!

Expat Housing has been very helpful with all issues related to living in our new apartment. They take care of the communication with our landlady effectively and promptly. They keep their promise of being very Expat friendly.

I cannot say enough positive things about this company. They have a fantastic team of professionals that supported me along the way - they sent me tailored listings, accompanied me to each viewing, had an almost immediate response via email. I felt like they had my best interest at heart in each interaction.

The service has been fantastic. Yusuf is not only very friendly but very reliable. One would generally not expect an agent of a property owner to honestly disclose certain defects to a candidate tenant. Een hele nette, normale reactie verzonden op een huurhuis. Ik krijg nog geen twee volzinnen terug, zonder hallo, hoofdletters en andere hele normale zaken die in een gewone mail zouden moeten staan. Ook klanten die je niet verder kan helpen kun je normaal te woord staan!!
