Hands down would recommend them. Second time using them for renting my new apartment, I was helped by Yrina and she was amazing, super helpful, attentive, after a couple viewings understood what I was looking for and just kept helping until I was satisfied with our find. She was super responsive and relatable. The support team was amazing too, always helping throughout the process. Yrina and the team made this process less stressful and I am beyond thankful for them.

Peter was very personable. My husband and I had contacted him for one of the showings that we were interested. Truthfully, the place we saw wasn't the place we expected. He asked about the showing. Soon, we explained to him what we didn't like and what we wanted to see in our future shows. He understood our needs and started to share with us his recommended listings. Within a week, we put in an application for a place we loved and I'm now writing a review. The process was seamless. He is very professional and knowledgeable in what he does. Most importantly, getting in contact with Peter was so easy! If I had any questions or concerns, he addressed them within hours. He truly understands what fiduciary duty means and it's an understanding that's seldom seen in today's agents. Take it from someone who's been in the sales for the last 15 years, you want to have Brian representing you in a real estate transaction.

I am so grateful that I had Sharon as my realtor throughout my first home buying process! It took me over a year to find my home because of the hectic post- pandemic market, but Sharon was extremely patient and encouraged me to wait for the right one. She was extremely knowledgeable about the cities I was interested in, which was very important to me because I am not from the area I wanted to buy a home in. She was also very straight forward when it came to advising me on different condo buildings and the value of the properties we saw. After a fast and painless closing I finally have my dream condo, thank you Sharon!!!

Please, DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY
As a new home seller, I fell for the co-owner Sonia's calm, polite demeanor instead of following my instincts. She speaks calmly and politely to you but I learned the hard way that she really has no interest in working hard for her client- all she wants is her commission.

Apparently they call people like her dinosaurs in the real estate world from what I hear because their methods, knowledge of the market are all inaccurate and outdated. Her lack of competence really shined through this experience. I was selling an 8 bedroom home, but she pulled comps for 4-5 bedroom homes, telling me that was probably the best I'd get. Little did I know EVERYONE In the real estate world clearly knew there was NO inventory and it was clearly a sellers market, so she should have taken full advantage of that fact to help me as the seller sell my home at a fair price given that fact. In the end because we sold to buyers that "she already knew and were interested" it appears I missed out on selling my home for at least $150,000-250,000 more than what I actually sold it for. The beauty of working with a dual-agent.... as you can tell there were clear conflicts of interest. Also, she didn't clearly communicate in the beginning that she'd be working as a dual agent until later - she brought in buyers she was already working with, we didn't even list the home officially, and she demanded initially a full 4% commission fee. I spoke with 3 other real estate agents and all 3 of them said that fee was too high for not having really done any work at all for me as the client. All 3 agents told me that if it were them they'd take 1.5%-2%. She did NO work showing the home, pulling accurate comps, getting a pulse on the market, marketing my home to prospective buyers and yet she felt entitled to a full commission. Additionally when I mentioned to them about some yellow and red flags I observed through our interactions with Sonia, I was told that f this is actually not surprising from Top Realty, especially Sonia. It seems they already have a reputation of cutting corners and using underhanded methods to handle transactions. She apparently just wants to get money easily at the expense of her clients and golf all the time.

I'd like to also mention that she had me sign a blank form in the beginning. I don't know if it's out of sheer laziness and being underprepared or she was planning on filling things out on the backend sneakily. She also did not preemptively send me the final signed version of the contracts I signed, which any person who works in a corporate or a professional setting should know is a GIVEN. She just left me with a blank copy of the contract "for my knowledge", but then I had to remind her like a month or two later for those copies. Additionally, she speaks English pretty well for a first generation Korean woman, but if English is your first language, there WILL be communication issues where she will either intentionally or unintentionally misunderstand you. I've had multiple miscommunications with her, which made me question if I misworded things, but witnesses there listening in on those conversations confirmed that I was very clear and that there should not have been any misunderstandings.

If you are a home buyer or seller please DO NOT sign any contract to work with this brokerage. There are much more reputable, honest brokerages out there that you can work with.
This entire process working with Top Realty and Sonia has been a nightmare.

TL;DR - Brian Kim is great and I would recommend him and his team to anyone.

I had the pleasure of working with Brian to find our first home during the pandemic when interest rates were low and the competition was fierce. Brian was nothing but patient and insightful as we dragged him from house to house. He was always very responsive, had great feedback, and worked around our schedule. Because of Brian's dedication and tenacity, we were able to be secure our first house.

Staff was rude and disrespectful when my wife came in just to ask a simple question. Lady closest to entrance was disgusting and rude. I’m glad this happened cause I’m a local resident and I’m going to spread the word! Not an old review, this happened April 11 2023 at 10am.

I called to speak to Chin Hong or receive her contact information but the agent/receptionist asked what am I calling about? I said 39 Continental in Totowa for rent. She said "Oh No, its under contract". I said that's fine, but may I speak to Chin Hong please? She said "I said its under contract". I replied, "I understand but may I speak to her. What is the problem, why can't I speak to her? May I have your name please?" The woman said "what is your name, I gave her my name and she hung up the phone". If this is the 1st point of contact, then I will like to tell the public, very unprofessional company. Very rude and Very Bias!
1 star too many, I wish I could give a 1/2 star. I don't place reviews too often but that lady was rude to me because I am not Asian!

Mayra Hernandez was PERFECT when it came to assisting my girlfriend and I purchase our first home together. You hear so may horror stories about real estate agents but the experience we had with Mayra. She brings incredible knowledge and experience and it absolutely showed when it came time for her to provide us her personal/professional recommendations during the whole home buying process.

For me...the reason why I wish I could give Mayra more than five stars is because of the amount of resources she put into making sure that we landed our first home (which we fell in love with the moment we saw it for the first time). I can honestly tell you that it was because of one her recommendations that landed us in the buyer accepting our offer, which than led to us finally purchasing our home. I feel she went above and beyond when it came to all of the paperwork. She made sure that we were submitting the correct forms and the few times in where the wrong documentation was provided she informed us immediately.

And that's just OUR home. I need to also mention how patient she was with all the other homes we saw prior to our final purchase. There were some homes that we REALLY enjoyed but she would question us and made us consider things like our daily commute, are we withing driving range of our family (very important), the school system, and so much more. We never felt that she was pushing a certain property on us for commission because she never did. Every home we wanted to see she made sure that we got to see it and spend enough time reviewing the property.

My girlfriend and I are incredibly happy with the final outcome and are grateful that Mayra assisted us through the entire process. I CANNOT recommend Mayra enough! Especially if you are looking for your first home!

Cathy is the best! Since I am located 4 hours away, Cathy was extremely helpful and always available to let contractors, inspectors, etc into the house, and take care of things I couldn't do remotely required to sell this property. She went the extra mile and was it was a joy to work with here and I will miss our frequent communications. As far as the house selling process, she was again available when required to show the house and presented the offers to me in an effective format that allowed me to evaluate them easily. Throughout the process, she made sure everything ran smoothly all the way through closing. We can't speak highly enough of our experience with Ellada Davidova. Every time we viewed a new property, Ellada would perform a methodical inspection, looking for signs of problems and commenting on the quality of construction, finish, appliances, etc. She proved her expertise with her thorough knowledge of home construction and the local market.

Ellada also led us through multiple rounds of negotiation to get to a price we were comfortable with. Most importantly, she was always on our side, working to make our house purchase as simple and successful as possible. In the end we found the property that was perfect for us.

Violated contract by not giving security deposit after 14 emails and 10+ calls to my son. Finally responded by saying CEO was on vacation and couldn't get check signed. That was three weeks ago. Promised to send check via UPS - did not happen. Can't trust a company that can't comply with most basic of contract and law. You are what your actions are, these folks act in bad faith.

I rented an apartment at 330 Washington in Hoboken. I moved out at the end of September, and they have not sent my security deposit back yet. They are breaking the contract, and it's been over 65 days. They never respond to emails and keep making excuses instead of fixing the problem.
