Trying to return a dish drying rack bought 2 days ago because it’s really not doing it, I returned it in the re-saleable condition and original packaging but the staff named Beant rejected me because I tried it at home, apparently Kmart doesn’t let you try their products and return.

I feel bad that I was getting a little bit of aggressive towards her, I really shouldn’t be mad towards someone incompetent, she’s doing her job 100% correct and deserves to work here for good.

Her job is to make every customer unhappy.

Came looking for Pokémon cards so can’t comment too much about the entire store but they’re all stored in one small cupboard that you will have to ask staff about. As everything is just in the one place, they struggled to find individual items but the staff member did try scrummaging around for it. After a while we gave up and searched the system which indicated there were 0 in store but top ryde have 30+ in stock so I should try there. On the website, it indicated that the item was available for click and collect and in store. Fix your system. Appreciate the kid for helping though.

So scaring experience. Would never come back again.
My three year old son grabbed a soft ball from toys section, a young male staff came and warned us: “your son had kicked the ball around, stop doing this!”
With his tone and facial expression, it was inappropriate towards a child.
Not sure if my son kicked the soft toy ball, but could not be as him described “continuously kicking”, otherwise I would noticed and stopped him. I am also a reasonable parent…
And he asked security, threaten us to leave. Security also felt nothing serious, because we really didn’t do much wrong. Then my husband asked staff name, so we would make a complaint about his attitude. He said his first name Aaron. We asked how about your surname? The staff said: you don’t need to know about this—this is exactly the way he talked to us all the way. Quite offensive.

Kids are uncontrollable. If they did something inappropriate, please kindly suggested them, rather than threaten us. Also we bought that ball.

Another blond hair female staff witnessed all happened, said to me “your son is so cute”. Thanks still have someone trying to comfort me.

Thanks for making my 1st day of Chinese new year so special.

Kmart is one of the worst supermarkets in the world! And this store excels in treating you as a customer like trash with useless unhelpful staff and absolutely 0 service not even when trying to pay for the items! But they still expect you to put up with security checking your every purchase at the front door! Don’t shop here!

Yesterday afternoon the old female staff at the self serve checkout made us so uncomfortable by keep standing right behind us and staring at us, as if we are trying to steal something by not scanning. No smile, no greetings nothing just blank stare throughout our checkout made us so uncomfortable.

We are a young family with kids. Not sure if it's our skin colour or our religious look that made her think we are going to steal.

I wonder if she does the same thing to a white Australian customer.

Kmart needs to provide better training to their staff.

Rhodes kmart needs to educate these rude teen staffs. Just wanted to buy few things for my cat but the cat section was a full of mess. It was horrible to go through because trollers were blocking the path. I wanted to grab items so i removed the trollers but a teenage stuff comes to me rudely like she doesn’t want me to buy stuff for my cat, she goes “We have a small space and you need to talk to someone else that can remove the trollers” she couldn’ve nicely help me but she put those trollers back in the pet section so i cant get the stuff how rude? and then other teen staff starts swearing. I couldn’t buy the things i wanted and items were in stock online but not in the store 😂

I just had to give a shout-out to Jason, one of the staff members who helped me out around 5 pm on 13 July. Seriously, this guy is incredible!

I couldn't find what I was looking for on the shelf, but Jason came to the rescue. He offered to check the back stock, and within no time, he found exactly what I needed, all while juggling other tasks. And let me tell you, he did it all with a friendly and helpful attitude.

I work in the management team for a giant retail chain, so I know firsthand how rare it is to find someone as dedicated as Jason. He truly goes above and beyond for customers.

Big kudos to Jason for making my day with his outstanding service. It's not every day you come across someone so helpful and committed.

Great to see Kmart here. Target was good but I think more people prefer Kmart. Large store with everything you need. Never too busy and quite clean.
