Please allow me to give kudo's to Andrew at Mr Prepaid!! I recently bought prepaid electricity from them via my banking app, but unknowingly forgot to change the meter number (which has been exchanged). In a panic I phoned first thing the following morning, since I haven't received my pin yet. My deposit reflected in their bank account, and this kind man allocated the funds to the correct meter number without hesitation!! I thought I'd lose the (substantial) amount... I hope this post comes to the attention of the right people/ managers!! Thank you once again, our country needs more people like Andrew

I called and I must say the unpleasant and offensive utterances didn’t and still doesn’t sit well with me. The lady was just rude and she ended up dropping the call while still on the line; I tried calling back but she just didn’t pick up the line. Therefore I was stuck, I didn’t the get help I needed.

I called on Saturday and the lady helped me without any fuss or problem. I told her what problem I was experiencing and within a few minutes she could help me.
My problem is so rare that it only happens every 30 years. Thank goodness for her knowledge, otherwise I would be in darkness right now.

Honestly... best service ever from Leandra!!! Tshwane came to install prepaid meter Friday 20 Jan (Not my choice, as Tshwane is forcing everyone down this route). They didn't do something correctly and so I was not able to buy pre-paid electricity on FNB App directly. Called Mr Prepaid and they said I can just transfer Rxxx on their FNB account and they will get it sorted. 1 hour later sorted. Great job Leandra. Thanks, JP

Mr prepaid is Experienced ,knowledgable and helped me a great deal to understand how the service and product is used to its maximum benefit .i would recomend them and certainly use them in the future again.

They always have friendly, helpful staff even if it's early in the morning, on weekends or late at night. Great service, definitely recommend Mr Prepaid.
Excellent service throughout the process, from sales, to installation to support. Will definitely be using their services for my other properties. This level of service is rare in SA. Kudos!

On 25 March 2021 I bought units for R500. I got 275.17 Units @ 1.64 c/unit R450.
On 25 April 2021 and May I also bought units for R500, just this time this is what I got: 237.97 Units @ 1.89 c/unit R450. What are you people trying to do?

Have been frustrated by the service this company (does not) deliver.
Meter installed. Technician did not link the meter to our account.
When we call, they tell us it's too late to get a technician out. (This at midday when they say technicians work until 4pm andcompany is open until 10pm.
We tell them we need the water supply to keep a healthy environment for our chronically ill child who has a heart condition and is especially susceptible to Covid-19 infections...two of the call centre agents both tell me that their problem is to answer calls. Our child's health is our own problem!?!?!

If anyone in management is reading this, apparently you are all on leave and cannot be contacted while you're on holiday (wherever that may be because of level 3 lockdown!!)

We need help desperately.
The meter was installed 3 weeks ago and we still have not had the unit linked. We need water urgently and Mr prepaid has told us to be patient. They are attending to it.

They keep promising to call back and never do.
Their management has been on leave.
Our child's health is not their problem when they are ignoring us and not providing the service we have paid for.

Avoid these guys.
Rather choose another property.
Rather eat razor blades than dealing with people who are only interested in getting paid, but not giving a fair level (or any level really) of service.

Disappointed, desperate and disgusted
